* Here is what I can tell you about Hotel Louisville: It used to be a Holiday Inn, but had been vacant ever since I moved back home nearly three ago. The building has 12 stories, and they also offer lodging to travelers starting at $49/night. There is also space for a restaurant on the ground floor, but I'm not sure if that's being used or not. Finally, something to make Chrissy happy: It's across from the McDonald's on 2nd & Broadway. That said, a lot of homeless (who would not be allowed into the hotel, judging by the article I linked) hang out there, so make of that what you will. And there you go. LadyCameron 00:03, 30 July 2010 (UTC)
* It looks like the poster immediately above me did not read the story. That hotel is ran by a non-profit and appears to be an initiative that keeps homeless families and their children off the streets. I don't think it should be included in this article. Especially considering the absurdity that is Chris. Federal Welfare spending is a very small expense in the grand scheme of things. Chris is far from the norm of the normal SSI recipient. Including a non-profit organization, painting the idea as "terrible" and than including a link to the non-profit is not cool IMO. And for the record, many city governments operate buildings that house homeless and low income families. They just do not call them hotels... 1. Could chris' tugboat get taken away if they(the appropriate government office) knew what he was doing with it? <br>
2. Is that something worth doing?
forgive me if this has been discussed before elsewhere. --masta beta alum 23:57, 21 June 2010 (UTC)
:This was debated again and again in multiple community interested in Chris. Here's the sad answer; the tugboat is going nowhere. To remove the tugboat, not only you will have to prove that Chris is not autistic (there's ample, medical documents regarding this) but you will need to ask to the bureaucracy to accept they were wrong. So, even with the best intentions and documentation, it can take years if it's not impossible. The way Chris spend the money is not of their concern. I bet they expect such attitude from the barely-functionning part of the spectrum. Griffintown 01:20, 22 June 2010 (UTC)
Soup Hotels for real?
Just saw this after someone edited the page. http://leoweekly.com/news/left-wayside I guess the government really does have money to burn for Chris's dumbass ideas. LAG4U 06:09, 29 July 2010 (UTC)
* Well, that's not the government, that's a church group working together with some nonprofit organizations. Read the article and you'll find out that the city is kinda pissed about it. --Schuzrum Dias 06:36, 29 July 2010 (UTC)
* Well as long as the church and nonprofit organizations are involved, I guess it's alright. But the day that 30 story tall CWC approved soup hotels arrive in America, I'm moving to Canada. LAG4U 16:21, 29 July 2010 (UTC)
* That hotel is ran by a non-profit and appears to be an initiative that keeps homeless families and their children off the streets.

The F in English
There's some confusion over what F Chris is referring to. Some believe that he got an F for this video (though how could he get an F for a video where he's complaining about getting an F for?) but based on the fact that (after listening to it again), he talks about how he started out with an A and the teacher kept going "lower and lower" with his grade, it seems to suggest that Chris is complaining about his cumulative grade in English and thought he'd throw in his bitching at the end since his English teacher would have to see it. --Champthom 02:06, 3 October 2009 (CEST)

I think it's just referring to the poetry assignment. It might be his arrogance to assume that the assignment was worth an A, and then in the teacher's evaluation of it, she lowered that deserved grade all the way to an F. It being the cumulative grade in English does make sense, but if Song of Christian 2 was also made in mid-May, it would be too early to get a final grade. Although it's possible that he found out via an early warning notice or something.

I also find it unlikely that this video was for the class. I just always thought of it as him playing around with his camera, talking about various things relevant to him. However, if it were for class, it would most likely be only the first video; the second one only talks about the poem kind of as an afterthought. He makes reference to presumably his English teacher, with a name that is unclear, but starts with a B. In any event, it's different from the name (if it were a name) he said in the 'indecipherable mutter' soon before the reading of the poem. I think it is highly unlikely that Chris had a video camera to play around with at age 16. Chris has a lot of disposable income now because of his tugboat, but before he turned 18 his parents were probably keeping it all, and we know he didn't have a job. Chris was likely issued a camera by his school to make this video. Also remember that this was before youtube, so Chris didn't have the expectation that everyone in the world watches every video he makes. If he made this in the privacy of his own home for his own edification, then why is he referring to the teacher as 'you' and speaking as if she can hear him. I wonder who this video was made for? It wayyy predates Chris's YouTube adventures, and he can't possibly have thought of creating this sort of self-promotional DVDs at that time. It's pretty clear why he included it on the DVD (since the idea was probably to cram in every piece of video featuring him, ever), but who did he, at the time it was filmed, think this video was made for? Did he just pick up a camera and think "I shall create 'The Christian Chandler Show' in my image"? *I think the standard interpretation is that this was made for a class project, though it's possible he made it for himself.
