The most important tool of Chris is his computer. His window to the world, Chris uses it to connect with his fans and to espouse his way of life. Needless to say, just like everything else he has, he ruins it in some way.

Type of computer and equipment
Currently, Chris uses an HP Pavilion desktop computer, situated in the kitchen at 14 Branchland Court. The computer runs Windows XP. It's equipped with a scanner and a printer (or perhaps a scanner/printer combo), allowing him to scan comic pages and print artwork. He also must have a broadband connection to the internet, since he's been able to connect to Mumble voice chats.

The computer has a version of Adobe Photoshop installed on itcite, which Chris primarily uses to type in text bubbles in his comics or to alter the truth.

To hear Chris tell it, his computer is on its last legs. In his conversations with Alec Benson Leary, Chris complained that multiple power surges (resulting from blackouts in his area) have disabled his computer for days at a time, forcing him to restore it constantly. In mid-February 2010, this was his excuse for failing to regularly upload new comic pages.

When Alec reasonably asked him why he didn't just buy a new, more reliable computer, Chris claimed that he doesn't have the money. A low-end replacement for his current machine, powerful enough for his purposes, would only cost a few hundred dollars, but apparently Chris has better things to buy.

Chris and digital piracy
Since Chris uses Photoshop to work on his comics, he presumably has the technical skills necessary to acquire and install bootleg software. It's very hard to believe the alternative, i.e. that he would spend an enormous chunk of his gaming and McDonald's budget on a legitimate copy of the program. Knowledgeable trolls also confirm that Chris knows how to set up and run a Bittorrent file-sharing client.

However, whether it's a matter of ignorance, laziness, or unwillingness to cross some moral line, Chris doesn't seem to swipe digital files with abandon. Most of the movies and TV episodes that he's downloaded through the PlayStation Network are also easily available in bootleg form by way of public Bittorrent sites. He could have swiped all those Family Guy episodes for free in no time flat, instead of paying the $100 or so he spent downloading them through the PSN.

Chris and net etiquette
Even though Chris has been on the internet for quite awhile, Chris has not yet mastered good Net etiquette, and he probably never will. Scorned by Encyclopedia Dramatica, Chris has gone all out in trying to spread his version of the truth. To do so, Chris will go all out and use websites NOT as means to help others, but help himself. Even worse, when given his own website, he seems to claim that it is he, not the Sysop, who has control over the site and thus, he must be in the know for everything.

Because of this attitude, Chris has been kicked out of just about everywhere. One of his many YouTube accounts has been suspended in the past and Wikipedia has made it that he can never apply his name onto the site again.

taxpayermoney
Movies, TV episodes, and other PSN video downloads make up a significant portion of Chris's ongoing Network spending spree. Data extracted from his PSN account show that he's bought hundreds of dollars worth of videos, a partial accounting of which follows below.

Almost all of his downloads are animated TV shows and movies, mainly predictable Chris favorites like Family Guy and Adult Swim series. A couple of selections stick out in odd ways, though, particularly Richard Linklater's indie feature A Scanner Darkly, based on the Philip K. Dick novel of the same name. Chris might be a fan of complex postmodern science-fiction stories, but then he also might just download anything and everything that is advertised on G4. It's also possible he thought there would be sexy women in it, as most of the feature films he's purchased that aren't aimed at children are aimed at desperate virgins.

Although Chris's PSN account consists almost entirely of one wasteful impulse buy after another, his video download collection includes some especially obvious examples. He bought every episode (24 in all) of the harem anime series Shuffle! at a price of two dollars an episode, or nearly $50 altogether, when he could have as easily bought the same episodes on DVD from any number of online discount retailers for less.

Add it all up and the tab for Chris's PSN video collection comes to more than $550, as of late February 2010.
Collosal [sic] Chris-Chan (aka Hobo Chan) is yet another Mary Sue form of Chris in the Sonichu comic. He, like Ultra Sonichu, is the result of "Chaotic Crystal Power" after all seven of the Chaotic Crystals have assembled. Anticipate terror, especially after what they did to 4-Cent Garbage shortly before their transformation.

Collosal-Chan is, surprisingly, the size of regular Chris-chan.

Sonichu 10
Hobo-chan makes his first and, if we're to take Chris's word for it, last appearance in Sonichu 10. Using the power of the Chaotic Crystals, he transforms into what is essentially a glorified super form, bearing a few similarities to the Level 4 Super Saiyan transformation from Dragon Ball GT. For some reason, the anime wings won't cut it this time around, like they were used more than once.

Despite the name, "Collosal" Chris-Chan appears to be exactly the same size he always is.

The first thing he does is rescue Crystal from the Dark Mirror Hole. Arriving in Minnesota, he jacks into the HEX BAWX of Alec Benson Leary, enters its computer world, somehow deletes everything connected to the Asperpedia, and blows up the HEX BAWX. He later helps Chris's version of the Asperchu characters in their fight against Metal Asperchu before travelling back to CWCville to finally confront Mary Lee Walsh, whom he defeats promptly and unceremoniously.
clear

Appearance
The concept is that Collosal-Chan is some kind of half-way point between regular Chris and Chris-chan Sonichu. However, in Chris's stunted ability, this basically manifests itself as Chris-chan in a ratty vest, stupid hat, and with a hobo beard. Why Chris would want to be a half-version of his actual super form doesn't make a bit of sense: how does having the weaker Chris's body improve over just being a magic, omni-capable hedgehog? So far there is no reason to believe that the things Chris does as Collosal-Chan couldn't also have been done by Chris-Chan Sonichu.

His medallion also changes from yellow to orange, just like Ultra Sonichu.

Powers
Collosal Chan has strange, almost god-like powers, the most basic of which are flight and telepathy. On top of that, he is shown to enter the Dark Mirror Hole effortlessly and retrieve Crystal from the mirror, connect into a computer's USB port with his finger, and create a version of himself to destroy everything and create a Lightning Bomb that allows for controlled destruction by way of force fields. He also has some basic combat abilities, most of them already available to regular, pussy human Chris anyway. During his fight with Mary Lee Walsh, Chris is capable of creating solid weapons presumably out of pure electricity that greatly resemble Kratos's blades from the videogame, God of War.

While logically, Collosal Chan has access to all the powers of his previous forms and any other Sonichu or Rosechu, these abilities have yet to be utilized. Collossal Chan can reasonably be expected to possess any power Chris considers necessary to save the day.
He later helps Chris's version of the Asperchu characters in their fight against Metal Asperchu before travelling back to CWCville to finally confront Mary Lee Walsh, whom he defeats promptly and unceremoniously.

Sonic the Hedgehog is a shitty recolor of beloved hero and comic book character Sonichu. Sega's blatant plagiarism has given renowned Sonichu creator Christian Weston Chandler many sleepless nights.

Chris has based his life on Sonic's teachings from AOSTH. He has been Chris's life hero since June 1990 [sic], replacing The American Rabbit.

History
Chris likely first learned about Sonic from watching the cartoon show Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog, involving the basic plot of Sonic and Tails running around to defeat Robotnik, who was portrayed as a plump, egotistical man who would endeavor to conquer Mobius and destroy Sonic, failing spectacularly each time. At the end of every show, a small segment titled "Sonic Says" (humorously misspelled "Sonic Sez" by Tails) would begin. Each segment would involve Sonic teaching a small moral lesson for kids to learn, such as when to call 911, what to do if someone attempts to molest or kidnap you, and telling kids not to play with guns.

The show was promoted via a contest, with the grand prize being a $1,000 video game shopping spree. Chris was one of the two winners of the shopping spree and was featured in a news story about the contest, one of the biggest moments (if not the biggest moment) in his early life, spreading its influence far and wide, from his decisions to enter contests to the eventual creation of Sonichu.

Apparently, at one point, Sonic was more widely recognized than Mickey Mouse. He was also intentionally designed to be easy to draw, had an incoherently random daily cartoon and a dead-serious pseudo-cyberpunk Saturday cartoon to cover both ends of the kids' cartoon spectrum, an army of merchandising, and, oh yeah, most of the games actually didn't suck back in the day. That and its enormous popularity (he likes all popular music, after all, why not all popular cartoons?) almost certainly drew in Chris.

The reason Chris remains so unerringly loyal to Sonic is unknown. As the years went by, the games became steadily worse until they fell into a randomly spawning black hole of supercrap and seem doomed to dwell within its depths forever. The cartoons both ended, were replaced by something almost as godawful as Sonichu, and the current cartoon is dumb enough to suck, yet not egregious enough at sucking to be ironically entertaining. Many more pop culture trends have come and gone, some good, some heinously bad, but Chris has stuck by Sonic (and Pokémon) like an abused wife. Judging by the large amount of pages about Sonic-loving lolcows (autistic or not) on ED, there's obviously something about Sonic that we don't see. Given how rabid a fanboy Chris has become, perhaps brand loyalty has transitioned into a sort of fannish Stockholm syndrome.

Role in the comics
Sonic first appears in issue 0 as Super Sonic battling the Perfect Chaos Monster in Station Square. Whilst battling him, a Pikachu comes to fight Perfect Chaos and is tackled by Sonic. The power of the Chaos Emeralds mutates said Pikachu into Sonichu, who then defeats Perfect Chaos.

In the following issue, he crashes into Sonichu again. After recognizing each other, they team up in order to rescue Rosechu from the clutches of Black Sonichu.

Other than being the catalyst for the creation of Sonichu and teaming up with him in the second issue, Sonic serves no other purpose. He disappears after issue 1, literally never even mentioned again.

Tails's (lack of a) role in the comics
Miles "Tails" Prower is Sonic's sidekick, and has been in the franchise since Sonic The Hedgehog 2 was released in 1992 for the Sega Master System. He has been featured in almost every form of Sonic-related media such as cartoons, anime and comic books. As such, many have been perplexed on why he has not made an appearance in Chris' comics.

Christian has refused to include Tails in his comics, despite ripping off Knuckles and Shadow and featuring an autobot named "Prower." If his response in Mailbag 38 any indication, it is possible Tails was omitted because of the rumors (made by 13 year olds on Gamefags and Failgrounds) that Sonic and Tails were gay. According to Christian, Tails would be "inappropriate" for the comic.

Despite this, Chris did create a Tails-like Pokémon named Evails, though he has so far only appeared on the Wall of Originals. The name of Punchy Sonichu's bike is also Prower, bearing a certain resemblance to his surname.

Archie Comics
In the US, the official comic adaptation of Sonic the Hedgehog is published by Archie Comics. The comics themselves are based on the Saturday Morning Cartoon Sonic, and is generally known for being subject to horrible plots including shallow romances and convoluted explanations for changes in character appearances (one such issue attributes his change in appearance ((due to being redesigned in the games and the writers feeling a need to justify his new appearance in the comic))green eyes and shoe buckles to a time-altering beam of energy to ), and for having a fan base that mostly consists of 30-year-old furries living in their parents' basements. Some argue that it truly doesn't suck now that the kudzu plot has been trimmed down.

Chris has hinted at and mentioned that he is familiar with the comic series, and the layout of his comics tends to replicate the style of early Archie Sonic covers. Reldnahc's calling Chris "Prime-Chan" in the comic may be a reference to the character Scourge the Hedgehog, an evil version of Sonic from another dimension; Sonic is referred to as "Sonic Prime" when dealing with inter-dimensional storylines. Chris has also been known to trace images from an early special of the comic "Super Sonic vs. Hyper Knuckles" for the basis of some of his fight scenes. Whether he still reads the comics now or not is unknown, but it is probable that he does. He has stated that he would like Sonichu to be published by Archie Comics.

Starting in April 2010, Sony began releasing the Archie Sonic comics for download via the Playstation Network. The likelihood that Chris has purchased them? Close to 100%.

Sega's response
After being scarred by the shitty drawn comic by Christian Weston Chandler one fan finally decided to let Sega in on Sonichu. It's currently unknown on what Sega will do about Chris.
