== A Guide to Editing Video of the Now ==

Since I don't always feel like editing the Video of the Now, I'm going to start letting others do it. But here's a tip on what makes a good video of the now and what doesn't.

As with the [[:Template:Quote of the now|Quote of the now]], the Video of the Now should reflect The Now - the current state of Chris. So if Chris is raging at people, find some remix video of Chris angry, not some random YouTube rant about Chris from a year ago.

Usually if [[Vivian]] puts out something, it's cool to feature it. Or if a "notable" troll like Chris's current troll releases something, that's usually a good choice as well.

Remixes, music videos, etc. are fun things to have as well.

Try not to use Chris videos unless you absolutely must - obviously Chris's own videos can reflect the now but it's rather unoriginal and people are going to see those videos in the articles anyways.

Pro tip on how to find stuff - look at Krapple or PVCC. Just rip off what's being discussed there, ideally videos people are saying are good.

Oh, and frequency - try not to edit it more than once a day, unless something epic happens like an audio gets released and you want to feature a YouTube version of it. I've had that happen - I post a video, and then something even better comes along. == Project Map Fucking Everything ==

Started up this project and got a lot of things mapped down.

I'd like to get all of the places he mentions/visits/films/rapes marked down on the map, but there's a lot of videos and some of them I never wish to see again. So, it's open collaboration and anyone with a Google account can edit it. Feel free to login and mark down different areas he's visited. Just try to be logical and succinct when adding locations. Don't need every McDonald's marked down. When doing videos of him travelling, try to figure out the path with a line and mark at least one end of it.

Should we make a page for the full map or just link it in the bottom of the "Locations" divs on the other pages?

Chris isn't coming back, at least not for a long time. Despite this, there are a shitton of new editors who drop by every other day and fuck up articles. The only reason I'm really still here is to fix up the edits of these new editors. I think we should start finding the good articles on the wiki and either lock them or put a template saying not to fuck with it a la ED. As articles get fixed up, they get locked down, at least until Chris comes back (if he ever does, anyway). The only reason I'm really still here is to fix up the edits of these new editors.
