'''Sports''' is a term that refers to competitive games involving intense physical activity that may be important to a culture. Some activities which don't quite fit that definition, such as Esports, are also often considered sports. Upon [[Obesity|first glance]], one may assume that Chris has never even thought about throwing a ball or running a mile, but that would be wrong. In fact, Chris has had several interactions with sports throughout his life. For most people, sports provide an opportunity to push yourself beyond what you thought possible or to find a team that you believe in. For Chris, though, sports amount to little more than a tool to solicit respect.

No doubt Chris's most famous role in the sports world was as the "Manager/Water Boy" of the [[Manchester High School]] varsity basketball team.<ref>[[Chris's Wikipedia profile#The Teenage Years]]</ref> As the names imply, the role of a water boy and a manager are two very different things, and while a student manager of a sports team may very well sometimes perform simple services for the team such as providing water, it is more likely Chris was simply given the title as a gesture. While there are not many details known about his time in this role, he did share this position with fellow student [[Joseph Herring]], who made enough of an impression on Chris to appear in [[Sonichu #7]]. Chris only served as manager for a single season. Whether he lost interest or was denied a second season his sophomore year is anyone's guess.

While Chris never formally played any sports for an organized team, he has plenty of experience with casual group and solo play. In Chris's home country of the [[United States]], football is a game that revolves around tackles and touchdowns. In most other parts of the world, football is what Chris and his fellow Americans would call soccer. Chris has history with both variations of the sport. In his video [[A few kicks]], Chris plays around with a soccer ball while royalty-free music plays louder than he speaks. Chris's ownership of a soccer ball implies an interest in playing soccer, but the lack of any feats more impressive than kicking the ball kind of far makes it seem that this is another instance of Chris taking a mild interest in something, making a video about it, and leaving it be. In a twist that is part unsurprising and part extremely surprising, Chris has more experience with American football. In his emails with Jackie, Chris confirms that while he was never the most interested in it, Chris would play football during [[exercise| PE class]].<ref>[[Regina e-mails#Chris wants sex, played football with girls]]</ref> According to Chris, the class would be split between boys and girls. Presumably, they would each be further divided into two teams that would then play against each other. Chris didn't enjoy the levels of violence displayed by the [[JERKS]], and was eventually placed to play among the girls by "special request." Although his time spent with either variety of football is to our knowledge quite short, Chris directly references both among the sports he plays on his first Match.com profile and is quick to bring them up when Kacey tells him volleyball is not a very masculine activity. It seems that for Chris, simply having played before is enough to call himself a player if it helps his [[love quest]].

===Running===
Like football, running is a sport that takes many forms. Since Chris's [[Sonic the Hedgehog|lifelong hero]] and his [[Sonichu (character)|prized creation]] are both runners, one could imagine that Chris has a certain level of appreciation for running sports as well. In his famous December 2009 video [[Sonichu's Edge]], Chris records himself "jogging" around downtown [[Charlottesville]]. In his video, Chris shows just how unfamiliar with running he truly is (for example, [[English|mispronouncing]] "parkour" as "parkay" and thinking parkour is in any way related to distance running). During his run, Chris seemingly takes many breaks during cuts in the video. Given Chris's shape, many would consider this excusable. What makes this notable is that at the beginning of the video, Chris states a belief that all runners do this.

Jogging was a topic discussed by Chris and Kacey quite often in their calls earlier that same year. Kacey was quite bothered with Chris's lacking in ability, criticizing him for only being able to jog for 3 minutes time in [[Kacey Call 19]]. In [[Kacey Call 21]], Chris claims that he has upped his time jogging to 5 minutes. Still unimpressed, Kacey suggests that Chris ought to record himself running so that she could tell him how to improve.<ref>[[Kacey Call 21]]</ref> Chris makes the excuse that it would be difficult to film himself jogging due to the way he swings his arms. Kacey replies that when jogging, one is supposed to keep their arms beside them. Some [[video game]] characters will swing their arms stretched out beside them while running, so it is possible that Chris picked up the habit from them. Regardless, when Kacey suggests that Chris should at least set the camera in a stationary position and jog in front of it, Chris says that he will "think about it" and leaves it at that. When Chris lists sports he's played, baseball is usually among them. Despite this, no stories of Chris playing baseball seem to exist. Like all fandoms, being a sports fan can be an important part of someone's identity. Many fans will attempt to follow their team as they travel large distances to play against other teams, and rivalries between teams will often extend to their fans. While it would be very entertaining to watch Chris give a [[Chop Chop Master Onion's Rap Showdown]]-esque rant about how the [[University of Virginia]] Cavaliers were robbed of an important win by the referees, Chris is not as passionate as these aforementioned fans about many things other than [[vidya]], his [[Dimensional Merge|delusions]], and [[hanky-panky]]. That said, Chris has expressed interest in consuming sports-related media throughout the years.

===Attending Live Sports===
As a waterboy in high school, Chris would have had the opportunity to see plenty of action on the basketball court. In fact, given Chris's work ethic, one may assume that Chris would spend more time watching the game than performing his actual duties. While that is not outside the realm of possibility, if he did, he never saw anything worth remembering to him, as in [[Mailbag 28]] he was asked in a letter if he had any basketball stories among other questions. His response is to ignore this part of the letter. <ref>[[Mailbag 28#Chris the waterboy]]</ref> Regardless, during in a message on The Place from October 2020, Chris would cite his time as manager as an exception to the rule of him not being "really big into watching sports."

In [[May 2010]] Chris won 4 tickets to Extreme Action Sports, a motorsports event held in the {{w|John Paul Jones Arena}}. He attempted to find 3 people to attend with him, however he would say in the [[Greene County Conspiracy]] video that none of his friends were able. While many would consider this happening to be reason to simply stay home, Chris would attend anyway, sitting next to a "lovey-dovey couple" who he supposedly tried to be friendly towards. Chris has referenced watching football on TV a number of times. In [[October 2011]], Chris listed a Panasonic 32-inch color television on Craigslist, and in the description noted that it "defined SUPER BOWL SUNDAY, as well as Thanksgiving Football Watching". It may be worth noting that [[Bob|Bob's]] [[college| alma mater]], {{w|Auburn University}} traditionally plays football against its main rival, the University of Alabama, around Thanksgiving. In fact, based on later comments, it may be inferred that all this football watching Chris says he has done was Bob trying to introduce him to the sport in one of his many attempts to get Chris into his myriad hobbies and interests. In a The Place Chat from October 2020, Chris says that he is not particularly interested in watching sports when asked if he keeps up with college football. Ironically enough, this question was prompted when Chris brought up that at-the-time head football coach for the aforementioned University of Alabama, {{w|Nick Saban}} had been diagnosed with [[Covid 19]]. A similar sentiment would be shared in a somewhat confusing Twitter post from 7 February 2021 about Super Bowl LV, Chris, [[Role-play|roleplaying]] as Sonichu claims that Chris is not much into football, or sports in general. Sonichu, however, is implied to enjoy football, and perhaps even plays football himself.

Whether this means that Chris would be watching the Super Bowl as part of his Sonichu roleplay, that Sonichu would watch it if not for supposedly being in the real world inside Chris's body, or anything else is not exactly clear.

In November 2023 livestream, also while Chris was roleplaying but this time as [[Chris and Religion| Jesus Christ]], he was asked to bless the {{w|Green Bay Packers}} so that they make it to and win Super Bowl LVIII. Chris responds to this request saying that divine forces have pre-ordained that the winning team would be the one that "earned it." This could be taken as Chris hiding a lack of interest in the NFL, considering that if Chris had a favorite team then one may expect him to give some sort of reason why they must win in order for the merge to be completed successfully, but that is mere speculation. On a related note, though, Chris never outright denies interest, and even confirms that the higher powers of his lore have some sort of concern for the outcome of the league's season.

In a livestream from February 4, 2024, Chris showed the most interest he ever has in the NFL's season finale. When asked to predict the winner of Super Bowl LVIII, Chris declares that viewers should "put your money on the Miner." This was just after claiming that his powers should never be used for personal gain. The teams competing in the Big Game this year were the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs, and there has never been an NFL team called "The Miners." That said, it's easy to assume Chris was referring to the 49ers, and that San Francisco fans could go ahead and start planning their victory celebrations knowing that the Goddess Blueheart had declared their glorious destiny. San Francisco was defeated 22 to 25.

===Consuming Sports Merchandise===

Some of the video games Chris owns are sports-based. While it is understood that Chris will sometimes buy games and never play them, we do know that Chris was apparently relatively devoted to one of these sports titles. ''{{w|Rusty's Real Deal Baseball}}'' was a freemium game available on the Nintendo 3DS eShop. In this game, the player is able to purchase minigames themed around baseball for real money. However, the player is also able to use items won from previous minigames to haggle with the titular character, an [[Patti-Chan| anthropomorphic dog]] named Rusty (who Chris believed to be a rabbit, apparently mistaking him for a character from another game), and buy these minigames from him for a lower price. In fact, the game strongly encourages the player to do this. Many people assumed Chris would not want to go through the effort of doing business with Rusty, and instead buy everything for the maximum amount of real world money. This led to a rumor that Chris may have been the first person to encounter Pappy Van Poodle, a character who would show up and give Rusty the items that the player was supposed to give him so that the story can progress. In [[May 2019| May of 2019]], Chris would be [[Pappy Van Poodle Interview|interviewed]] by YouTuber Nick Robinson for this reason. This rumor would turn out to be false, as Chris did in fact negotiate with Rusty for the lower prices. Regardless, it is still known from the [[Nintendo employee reveals details of Chris's Nintendo transactions| Nintendo Employee Leak]] that Chris bought all of the minigames, meaning he poured at least 16 dollars into the game to buy 9 minigames. In Chris's infamous [[Lego Manchester High School]] video, two of the minifigure characters shown attending the school are the official Red Cheerleader and Blue Cheerleader. When the first version of the custom build was severely damaged in the [[house fire]], it can be assumed that these two characters were among the parts of the set that were completely destroyed, as both figures were included in a photo album on Chris's Facebook profile called "minifigs need/want". Also on this list was another sports-themed character, the Roller Derby Girl. The two cheerleaders are the only figures that feel in place in Chris's original Manchester High, as we never see any football or basketball players. However, it is known that the second iteration of the build was much more expansive, so it may be that more sports-based figures such as the Football Player or some of the various NBA minifigures are included. If so, they are not shown in Chris's photos of the rebuild on his [[ReBrick]] profile. He would later upload images of the various staff members of the high school, which do include a man named Duke Herring, who looks similar to a stereotypical coach.

In pictures of Chris's room from [[August 2020]], it can be seen that Chris owns or owned one of the traditional {{w|foam hand}}s sometimes used by spectators at sports games to represent fandom for a team or the belief that the team is "number one" as denoted by the pointer finger pointing up, however, it should be noted that the hand is branded by [[Chris and nutrition| Doctor Pepper]] as opposed to any particular sports team. The same photos also reveal Chris owns or owned something resembling a frisbee with the {{w|Gatorade}} logo. This can also be thought of as sports merchandise due to the drink's affiliation with the {{w|University of Florida}}'s athletics, however, that is only a technicality.

==Sports in ''Sonichu''==

The most obvious example of sports playing in Sonichu canon is Bionic the Hedgehog. Chris created 2 origin stories for Bionic, but both involve basketball. The simpler of the stories, found on the CWCkipedia, says that Bionic was lost due to time travel shenanigans. Before returning safely to the present day, Bionic learned his iconic basketball skills, as well as [[Date Ed| how to talk to women]]. In the other version, Bionic fell into a portal as a child and ended up in a world full of basketball players, but returned several years later.

According to Chris, Bionic can score over 100 baskets in a single game. {{w|Lebron James}}, the highest scoring player in the NBA, averages 27.1 points per game <ref>https://www.statmuse.com/nba/ask/how-many-points-does-lebron-james-average-per-game</ref>. Even if Bionic is only shooting 1-point shots, he is vastly outscoring not only one of the greatest basketball players, but even entire teams' worth of players in most cases. Whether this is incredibly impressive or incredibly unrealistic is up for reader interpretation.

Instances of Bionic playing his signature game include the opening of Sonichu 7, in which he, Chris, and [[Meg-Chan]] are talking amongst themselves on Manchester High's basketball court. Bionic is shown to be shooting some hoops, although it's unclear if Chris and Meg-chan are meant to be playing with him. On the cover of [[Sonichu 9]], Bionic is shown performing a dunk, which in basketball is generally considered to be an impressive move. Bionic also uses a basketball as a weapon in his very first appearance in [[Sonichu 6]], using it to defeat [[Reldnahc]], and again to distract [[Giovanni]], who was attempting to force Sonichu to make Reldnahc mayor of CWCville.

While Bionic is the main example of an athlete in Sonichu canon, that doesn't mean that we should forget about everyone's favorite [[race|Asian stereotype]], [[Punchy Sonichu]]. While Bionic may have been young when he began his journey to become the greatest basketball player of all time, Punchy was literally born in a martial arts dojo. In [[Sonichu 3]], Episode 10, the eggs containing the [[Chaotic Combo]] were launched from the [[rainbow]] of Chaos Energy created by the collision of Sonic the Hedgehog and the Pikachu that would soon become Sonichu. Punchy's egg lands inside of Nabe's dojo-shin, where it proceeds to hatch. On the very first day of his life, Punchy wants to battle. A human named [[Mypoe]] accepts his challenge and rips off his tail, causing him to evolve then and there, and respond with an uppercut that launched Mypoe through the ceiling and into the sky. Punchy would live at the dojo for some time afterword.

Of course, it must be mentioned that the titular Sonichu is also an athlete. In addition to the obvious running, which he appears to enjoy doing, Sonichu is also shown surfing in [[Sonichu 8]]. We get a better look at his sporting life in [[A Sonichu and Rosechu Christmas]]. In the short story, we learn that Sonichu likes to run, play catch with a football, engage in digital bowling alongside Robbie (it is not clear if [[sexism| Cera or Christine]] are invited to join, or how Robbie's gender transition affected this aspect of their relationship). The story also sees Robbie recalling that at some point, Sonichu won a wrestling match.

Patti was a dog of mixed breed, being part {{w|beagle}} and part {{w|spitz}} and member of the Chandler household from [[1988]] to [[2006]] named for Saint Patrick's Day on which she was born. Chris was apparently very fond of Patti, claiming that he spent a lot of time with her when she was alive, citing her death as a source of trauma comparable to [[Father Call|losing a family member in 9/11]], and making her the very first being to live on in [[C-197]] after passing away in the real world. Despite this, when she was put down, Chris was not too distressed to draw [[Sonichu (character)| Sonichu]] on the paper for Patti's euthanasia.

In Chris's fantasy universe, Patti joined Chris's [[Electric-Hedgehogs]] and other "heroes" as [[Patti-Chan]], and would appear in several of the [[Sonichu (comic)| Sonichu comics]].

Patti lived in a doghouse that weighed approximately [[Math| 5 to 10 tons]], according to Chris.

Clover was Chris's dog from [[March 2012]] up until he was arrested in [[August 2021]] and is confirmed to be alive under the care of [[Barb]] as of [[March 2024]]. Snoopy was her brother and Barb's dog until his death in [[July 2021]]. Ironically, Chris lost custody of Clover on the 9th anniversary of the dogs' being revealed to the public in a photograph he submitted into a local radio contest that was later uploaded to the [[CWCki Forums]]. Both beagles, they were named for a ''[[My Little Pony]] Tales'' character and the famous ''[[Peanuts]]'' star respectively.

Unlike Patti, the beagles lived inside the Chandler house alongside Barb's hoard. The dogs liked to play on a "mountain of clothes" that Snoopy fell from as a puppy, permanently damaging his leg in the process.<ref>[[July 2021 social media posts#Eulogy for Snoopy]]</ref>

Sonic the Hedgehog is the lead character of a multimedia franchise created by [[Sega]] that has been ongoing since his first outing on the {{W|Sega Genesis}} in 1991. Chris was introduced to him through playing a demo of this particular game in a Sega Genesis display at the [[Charlottesville Fashion Square]]'s {{W|Sears}} store that year<ref>[[Cwclight#First Sonic the Hedgehog drawing by JCWCSP]]</ref> but what would truly solidify Sonic's place in his heart was his victory in the [[Sonic the Hedgehog Watch & Win Sweepstakes|Watch & Win Sweepstakes]] in 1993.

Sonic went on to become arguably one of the biggest fixated interests Chris ever had in his life (next to ''[[Pokémon]]''), culminating in the creation of Sonichu, both the [[Sonichu (character)|character]] ''and'' [[Sonichu (comic)|comic]] for which he has since attained infamy as an online celebrity of sorts.

In Chris's home country of the [[United States]], football is the name of a sport that involves tackling and touchdowns. In most other parts of the world, football is what Chris and his fellow Americans would call soccer. Chris has history with both variations of the sport. Chris's ownership of a soccer ball implies an interest in playing soccer, but the lack of any feats more impressive than kicking the ball kind of far makes it seem that this is another instance of Chris taking a mild interest in something, making a video about it, and leaving it be. In a twist that is part unsurprising and part extremely surprising, Chris has more experience with American football. In his emails with Jackie, Chris confirms that while he was never the most interested in it, Chris would play football during [[exercise| PE class]]. <ref>https://sonichu.com/cwcki/Regina_e-mails#Chris_wants_sex,_played_football_with_girls</ref> According to Chris, the class would be split between boys and girls. Presumably, they would each be further divided into two teams that would then play against each other. Like football, running is a sport that takes many forms. Considering that Chris's [[Sonic the Hedgehog| lifelong hero]] and his prized creation are both runners, one can imagine that Chris has a certain level of appreciation for running sports as well. In his famous December 2009 video [[Sonichu's Edge]], Chris records himself "jogging" around downtown [[Charlottesville]]. <ref>list[i]->setType(list[i+1]->getType())</ref> In his video, Chris shows just how unfamiliar with running he truly is (for example, [[English| mispronouncing]] "parkour" as "parkay" and thinking parkour is in any way related to distance running). During his run, Chris seemingly takes many breaks during cuts in the video. Given Chris's shape, many would consider this excusable. What is notable is that at the beginning of the video, Chris states a belief that all runners do this. Jogging was a topic discussed by Chris and Kacey quite often in their calls earlier that same year. Regardless, when Kacey suggests that Chris should at least set the camera in a stationary position and jog in front of it, Chris says that he will "think about it" and leaves it at that.

One of the sports that Chris is supposedly so skilled at in our sister dimension is volleyball. This was claimed [[Transgender| post-transition]], which means its possible that volleyball's listing was influenced by an aforementioned comment made by [[Kacey]] about volleyball being "really a girl sport" after Chris described playing it in high school as a "boy thing", however, that is just speculation and cannot be confirmed.

When Chris lists sports he's played, baseball is usually among them. Despite this, no stories of Chris playing baseball seem to exist. Like all fandoms, being a sports fan can be an important part of someone's identity. Many fans will attempt to follow their team as they travel large distances to play against other teams, and rivalries between teams will more often than not extend to their fans. While it would be very entertaining to watch Chris give a [[Chop Chop Master Onion's Rap Showdown]]-esque rant about how the [[University of Virginia]] Cavaliers were robbed of an important win by the referees, Chris is not as passionate as these aforementioned fans about many things other than [[vidya]] and (formerly) [[hanky panky]]. That said, Chris has expressed interest in consuming sports related-media throughout the years.

===Attending Live Sports===
As a waterboy in high school, Chris would have had the opportunity to see plenty of action on the basketball court. In fact, given Chris's work ethic, one may assume that Chris would spend more time watching the game than performing his actual duties. While that is not outside the realm of possibility, if he did, he never saw anything worth remembering to him, as in [[Mailbag 28]] he was asked in a letter if he had any basketball stories among other questions. In [[May 2010]] Chris won 4 tickets to Extreme Action Sports, a motorsports event held in the {{w|John Paul Jones Arena}}. He attempted to find 3 people to attend with him, however he would say in the [[Greene County Conspiracy]] video that none of his friends were able. While many would consider this happening to be reason to simply stay home, Chris would attend anyway, sitting next to a "lovey-dovey couple" who he supposedly tried to be friendly towards. When Chris has referenced watching football on TV a number of times. In [[October, 2011]], Chris listed a Panasonic 32-inch color television on Craigslist, and in the description noted that it "defined SUPER BOWL SUNDAY, as well as Thanksgiving Football Watching". It may be worth noting that [[Bob|Bob's]] [[college| alma mater]], [[w|Auburn University]] traditionally plays football against its main rival, the University of Alabama, around Thanksgiving. In fact, based on later comments, it may be inferred that all this football watching Chris says he has done was from Bob trying to introduce him to the sport in one of his many attempts to get Chris into his myriad hobbies and interests. In a somewhat confusing Twitter post from 7 February 2021 about Super Bowl LV, Chris, [[Role-play|roleplaying]] as Sonichu claims that Chris is not much into football, or sports in general. Sonichu, however, is implied to enjoy football, and perhaps even plays football himself.

Whether this means that Chris would be watching the Super Bowl as part of his Sonichu roleplay, that Sonichu would watch it if not for supposedly being in the real world inside Chris's body, or anything else is not exactly clear.

In November 2023 livestream, also while Chris was roleplaying but this time as [[Chris and Religion| Jesus Christ]], he was asked to bless the [[w|Green Bay Packers]] so that they make it to and win Super Bowl LVIII. Chris responds to this request saying that divine forces have pre-ordained that the winning team would be the one that "earned it." This could be taken as Chris hiding a lack of interest in the NFL, considering that if Chris had a favorite team then one may expect him to give some sort of reason why they must win in order for the merge to be completed successfully, but that is mere speculation. On a related note, though, Chris never outright denies interest, and even confirms that the higher powers of his lore have some sort of concern for the outcome of the league's season.

The story comprises three parts, each with multiple chapters. ==The Plot==
The story begins in chapter 1 when ProjectSNT's Sonic [[OC]] mysteriously finds herself in [[C-197]], where she is immediately ambushed by a hoard of [[Pokémon]] after getting too close to [[CWCville]] in an attempt to find civilization. After escaping her attackers, she is found by [[Sonichu]], or, in her eyes (and ours), a horrible abomination that seems to be a fusion between one of the Pokémon she fought and her dear friend [[Sonic the Hedgehog]]. Sonichu explains to SNT how the world works and then [[Sonichu 10| electrocutes]] her. They then engage in a fight completely unlike the ones from the Sonichu comics. For example, the fight is written with relative competency and contains some actual tangible stakes. Another example of ways in which it is different is that Sonichu actually loses. After winning her fight, SNT gets away just before [[Chris Chan| something even worse]] appears. Sonichu beckons for aid from the freshly revealed Christian Weston Chandler, who prepares to make the hero of the story CWCville's public enemy number 1. After escaping from more angry Pokémon, SNT finds CWCville where she is almost immediately attacked by [[Son-Chu| Chris piloting a giant robot]]. This fight ends quickly, and the closing dialogue concludes the first chapter.

That night, SNT takes a rest on a bench in the outskirts of CWCville to recover from getting repeatedly [[26 December 2014| assaulted by Chris]] and his lackeys. SNT starts to remember how she got to this hell-world, but can only recall it had something to do with joining the Sonic character Tails on a trip to Angel Island, a somewhat important location in the franchise. Immediately, a city-wide announcement is made, requesting all citizens to aid the authorities in hunting down SNT. A [[Sonichu's Edge |parkour]] scene of SNT sprinting across the CWCville skylines ensues. Oh.. also due to some Sonic the Hedgehog stuff she collects one of the Choas Emeralds from the series, which she decides to collect "just in case." Soon after falling to the ground, she is confronted by [[Rosechu]]. The two then ponder the possibility that the two are nothing more than fictional characters before fighting. Uncharacteristically, Rosechu attacks SNT using moves from Sonic and Pokémon instead of her [[china]]. After managing to get her tangled up in some wires, Rosechu nearly defeats SNT before beging shoved into a wall. It is implied that SNT escapes the wires to observe Chris rescue Rosechu in a helicopter and plot to figure out who created SNT in a plot to [[Love quest |attract a boyfriend-free girl]]. The presumably still injured Rosechu is sent back to continue her chase after SNT. SNT collects yet another Chaos Emerald. Rosechu continues her pursuit, acting [[The Incredible Lioness |more like herself]]. SNT escapes and makes it to the [[CWCville Shopping Center |CWCville Mall]] where she finds Chris eating a burger. Chris demands to know who created SNT, but is met only with confusion. She is then the victim of a cartoonish dropped-through-the-floor trap.

SNT, having fallen into CWCville sewer system. She spends the first part of chapter 3 swimming through the water, breathing in methane, and being attacked by more Pokémon, before escaping the underground and discovering a sewage plant ran by [[Bubbles Rosechu]]. In the plant, SNT remembers more about what happened before she got to CWCville, hunting for [[Robotnik |Dr. Eggman]] (known by his alternate name "Robotnik" in the Sonichu comics) alongside Tails to stop his evil plan that involved digging to the Angel Island underground. After the flashback, SNT tries and fails to collect another Emerald and muses aloud ''something is very wrong with the world she is stuck in'' and imagines Sonic inviting her to take part in some [[honest content]]. Delving deeper into the plan, she finds a pool of fresh water from which Bubbles Rosechu emerges. SNT is met with a mix of electric and water moves, but uses the emeralds she has collected to defeat the blue Rosechu-recolor. Back in Chris Chan's vile lair, Chris announces to Sonichu and Rosechu that he has discovered SNT is an OC created by ProjectSNT, and declares that his new goal is to bring her to CWCville, yet refuses to explain how.

Chapter 4 begins with another flashback. SNT and Tails fight off Eggman's robots and discover his inter-dimensional portal device. Out of a portal comes a dragon, which snatches her and brings her into another [[dimension]]. The morning after the fight with Bubbles, SNT decides she needs to speak to Chris so that she can get back to her homeworld. Meanwhile, Chris is speaking with Sonichu before they perform with the rest of the [[Christian and the Hedgehog Boys| Hedgehog Boys]], excited to play but worried that SNT will come along and mess up the show. Sonichu reaffirms Chris that Bionic is looking out for her. SNT finds a poster advertising that Christian and the Hedgehog Boys will be playing later that day at the CWCville Collisuem. At the stadium, SNT finds out that the band is made up of Chris and Sonichu, as well as three yet unmet Sonichus, [[Blake]], [[Wild]], and [[Punchy]], taking special note of [[Chris and Race| Punchy's eyes]]. When making her way through the crowd of <s>brainwashing victims</s> <s>subjects of a dictatorship</s>
adoring fans, she is nearly recognized by a CWCville citizen. When simply asked what this concert was, the citizen explains that what in the real world is [[Chris and Music| a series of bad song parodies trying to pass as original music]] is to he and his fellow CWCvillians is state-mandated media and the only available music in addition to that of [[Jiggliami]]. Some police notice SNT, and another chase ensues. In an attempt to find Chris, SNT makes her way into the men's dressing room, where she meets Bionic (who acknowledges both the story being a fanfiction and Sonic Underground non-canonical often forgotten TV show, making him not the only 4th-wall aware character, but the one with the best understanding of it). The actual fight with Bionic is over quickly, and SNT heads off to find Chris after [[taking a shower]] to get rid of her sewer smell, albeit in a [[ShowerClean |quite unsanitary stall]]. SNT can hear the concert beginning, and notes that the music is actually really good until Chris starts singing, although thinks to herself it sounds pre-recorded. SNT crashes the show, finding herself right beside Chris. The two are forced by [[DJ Jamsta]] to have a karaoke competition to [[So Need a Cute Girl]]. SNT quickly loses, having been spared the misfortune of hearing Chris Chan's music, but just before being penalized by potential death, she catches on to the song and begins to sing. The people of CWCville are then able to hear decent singing for the first time, causing Jamsta to reverse course and blowing Chris, Sonichu, and the rest of the Hedgehog Boys into the air.

In a forest, Chris wakes up to Sonichu asking if he is alright. Chris complains that his very own slaves had voted against him. Blake declares that he will handle the situation with Jamsta. Chris swoons over SNT before Rosechu mentions that they have 4 [[S-Chu Balls]] in the mayor's office, but they need to collect the rest in order to summon ProjectSNT to CWCville. Wild is then delegated to find and defeat SNT who arrives in the woods soon thereafter. SNT battles through more Pokémon and even collects another Chaos Emerald, but before she can make her way to Wild, another figure approaches her. The mysterious individual reveals herself to be [[Slaweel Ryam]] (who may be more familiar to some Christorians as Mary Lee Walsh.) Slaweel noticed that SNT was able to somewhat free the minds of the population of CWCville back at the concert, and after explaining that Chris uses C-197 as an escapist fantasy world and that she herself was created based off of a [[Mary Lee Walsh |real world Dean of Student Affairs]], which she only discovered by trying to learn more about SNT. Slaweel concludes that SNT was created by someone other than Chris, and that her presence in this world is causing people to become free of the control of Chris. Slaweel offers SNT the chance to join her and conquer the world. SNT did not simply want to take over CWCville, so a fight ensues. SNT defeats Slaweel quickly, but not without becoming the victim of a [[Curse-Ye-Ha-Me-Ha]] and becoming a victim to Murphey's Law. Where normally she would only somewhat struggle to venture through the forest, now, she was dealing with constant situations as bad as nearly being eaten by a ([[boulder-dropping?]]) whale that was for some reason in a river running through the woods. She was, however, able to collect a Chaos Emerald. She finds Wild, who had already opened their fight with a surprise attack, hiding himself in a ball of vines while controlling other flora to attack SNT. She knocks the mysterious ball down and causing it to roll into a [[Brushfire Video |forest fire]]. Wild erupts out of the ball, revealing himself to SNT. The fight with Wild is won with more difficulty than the precious two battles. After being defeated, Wild uses the Pokémon move self-destruct, although SNT is able to escape the explosion. After, Wild admits to SNT that Chris is working on a "secret project" in the city, which SNT decides to go investigate.

Chris, Sonichu, and Rosechu are walking down the beach along with Blake when [[Zapina]] approaches, announcing that ''[[Episode 17 |the images]] have been uploaded.'' Rosechu celebrates before commanding Zapina to find SNT. The girls then decide that instead of defeating SNT, maybe they could get her to join their [[women's rights |feminist campaign]]. Meanwhile, SNT finds herself [[keepn' it real for Spring Break| Episode 18]], surfing the waves while trying to escape from various fish Pokémon. A CWCvillian Pokémon trainer loyal to Chris sends a Guardevoir, but is swiftly beaten. After getting to the edge of the beach so she can enter the city again, Zapina shouts to her from above. She says that she will open a gate leading into CWCville if SNT joins her cause, informing our hero that the [[trolls]] that had victimized the Rosechus have already made their fanart of SNT. While SNT is not amused by the drawings, she seems to find herself as the mouthpiece of a higher being explaining the many flaws in Zapina's understanding of women's rights. This convinces Zapina that the original plan was a no-go and serves as a moderately challenging foe for SNT. After winning the battle, SNT questions why she felt like something else was speaking through her. She makes it into CWCville, only to find the city in disarray with a massive anti-CWC [[Sonic Boom Protest |protest]]. Unfortunately, this was not for the installation of any sort of free non-[[CWCville Mayoral Office |tyrannical]] government, but instead a plot by Dr. Eggman to take control.

SNT confronts Eggman, who explains that the whole portal situation was caused by him wanting to leave the universe where he would always be defeated by the capable and competent Sonic and instead try and conquer a world whose greatest champion is a self described [[virgin with rage]]. SNT then recalled how when he used the aforementioned portal machine to achieve that goal, he accidentally dragged SNT and the seven Chaos Emeralds with him. Just like Slaweel, when Eggman noticed the population loosing their devotion to Chris in the music battle, he saw an opportunity to take over CWCville for himself. Eggman challenges SNT to defeat him on the [[Sonichu 8| 66 + 6th floor]] of the [[4-cent_garbage.com |4-Cent Garbage Building]] (which in the universe of this story, is in CWCville and not Clarksville, Tennessee). SNT rushes into the building, and is forced to run up the stairs as the elevator was not working. Like Sonichu and Rosechu before, SNT was subject to seeing some disturbing imagery, as well as some slanderous comments toward Chris. However, the worst she got to see was some Sonichu honest content, and not the unholy parade of godless imagery that Chris included in the comic. Instead of Pokémon, SNT battles through Eggman's badnik robot minions on her way to the 66 + 6th floor. On the 33rd floor after collecting yet another Emerald, [[Magi-Chan]] confronts SNT, stating that he was sent by Chris to take care of Eggman. Magi-Chan shows an unusual level of concern for SNT, and says that if SNT finds Chris, he will protect her from Eggman. SNT obviously refuses, leading to Magi-Chan challenging her to a fight, which SNT accepts. Magi-Chan proves to be SNT's most powerful foe to this point, but her slightly superior speed wins her the battle. The building begins to shake and collapse. SNT reluctantly leaves the defeated Magi-Chan. She collects another Choas Emerald, leaving her one short of all seven. Upon reaching her destination, Eggman reveals he has the last Emerald, which he used to tame the Pokémon Paldea and rip Sonic out of SNT's universe to turn him into a robot slave who attacks SNT. She tries to snap him out of it as she could not bring herself to fight him. SNT then has to dodge attacks from both Sonic and Paldea, but notices she can force them to attack each other. The Pokémon's attacks knock Sonic's robot parts off, and SNT is able to land a few hits on Eggman and steal the final emerald. SNT explains to Sonic that they are stuck in a world created by a manchild. Upon mentioning said manchild, Chris appears and shoots SNT with a ray. Chris explains that this was his Find Creator Ray. Meanwhile, in the real world, ProjectSNT (or Courtney) is sucked into a portal after finishing a chapter of ''SNT Forces''. She is surprised to meet both SNT and Chris and worried that Chris was going to sue her over her [December 2019| Sonichu Redesigns]] before realizing that what was really happening was something much worse...

Chris and Courney (with varying levels of willingness to be there) were on a date in a CWCville amusement park. While Courtney was putting in no effort to hide her discomfort, Sonichu and Rosechu tried to convince her to take her place in the noble position as [[sweetheart]] to Chris. Luckily, SNT and Sonic arrive on the scene. SNT gets on a boat to follow the two into the Tunnel of Love and leaves Sonic to wait outside due to finding him "too distracting." She finds Sonichu and Rosechu, who believe themselves to be alone and prepare to engage in some Sonichu #8 material. SNT, now probably needing centuries' worth of [[Chris and mental healthcare |therapy]], makes herself known and asks where Chris and Courteny are. Sonichu declares that he will not let SNT mess up the Love Quest and doesn't intend to hold back when fighting this time. Sonichu is eventually defeated, and Rosechu, instead of fighting, tends to her incapacitated mate. At about the same time, Courtney tries to get out of [[Chris and sex| the worst thing imaginable]]. She then proceeds to explains that kidnapping people is bad begins a musical number about not wanting to fulfill the twisted desires of Chris. Chris, whose [[heart level]] had been smashed all the way down to -100%, fully gives in to his [[tard rage |virginal fury]] decides he needs nothing more than a simple kiss and would throw away all of his morals to get it. SNT is able to hear some of the things going on and rushes to reach Courtney and Chris. Just as Chris is about to (literally) steal a kiss from a horrified Courtney, SNT successfully sneak-attacks Chris, knocking him into the water. Chris swears vengence on SNT, who both ruined his love quest and his world. The building begins to collapse as Magi-Chan beams Chris away. SNT and Courteny use the Chaos Emeralds to enter their super-forms and fly out of the building. They meet with Sonic, and then deactivate the Chaos Emeralds. Courtney fully explains how she created her as a self-insert Sonic character and did not believe her to actually exist, only to be stunned to realize that this means that Chris was actually correct about the existence of other dimensions. She then also realizes that whatever story is currently being written is not being made by her, nor is it being written by Chris (otherwise, SNT would have ended up being easily defeated and proclaiming that [[Jerkief| her soul hurts]]). She then realizes that she is in some other random person's fan-fiction ''and that'' somebody decided to write a scene where she is nearly kissed by Chris. Unfortunately, the time for philosophy ends when the ground underneath them explodes, since the world of C-197 is a product of the mind of Chris, which had just been completely broken. They find themselves in a zone mashed up of everywhere SNT had been in her adventure up to that point, officially called the Mental Madness Zone by Opuscon. The 3 find special running shoes for Courtney in the zone, where they must dodge obstacles and Pokémon. They then encounter Blake, ready to kill them. Still, like the other foes before him, he is defeated. After defeating the last recolor, they discover the Find Creator Ray. Courtney picks the device up and shoots the world itself with it. The scene cuts to Opuscon himself writing the very scene being described right now on a subway train. When his train arrives at the station, Opuscon walks through the exit door not into a train station, but right in front of SNT, Courtney, and Sonic in the broken reality that he had created. After Courtney confronts Opuscon and demands to be sent back to her room, Opuscon refuses since that would make for a [[Sonichu 14 |bad ending]]. He then wrote on his phone that he was back on the train and the device was sent away. The three heroes then make their way to an area described in the story as being full of video games liked by Chris, items from his room, and various things that Chris hates. Clips of Chris appeared all around them, only to be warped. Small Chris clones attack the trio, but are unable to stop them from finding Chris in the middle of a breakdown. SNT tries to comfort Chris, but Courtney reminds everyone of what she had just been through. Chris then transitions both his form into Chris Chan Sonichu as well [[Transgender|as his gender, declaring himself to be Christine]] (for the sake of consistency, he/him pronouns will continue to be used for the Chris character of this story as mandated on this wiki. SNT, Sonic, and Courtney team up on Chris, occasionally being transported into the memories of Chris and attacked by previous foes like Bionic and Slaweel. After a drawn out battle, the trio eventually win.

The three try to make their way to a portal, but are challenged by Chris-Chan Sonichu once again, who destroys said portal to a laser. Chris transforms again into his truly ultimate form, that of course being the form from his [[ECV 00002]] video. Sonic takes the Choas Emeralds and volunteers to fight off Chris while the others go through the portal. Sonic takes his super form and begins to fight Chris. On the other side of the portal, SNT and Courtney find themselves in [[Chris's room (14 Branchland Court)| Chris's bedroom]] in [[14 Branchland Court]] where they are confronted yet again by Dr. Eggman. SNT wants to go back for Sonic, but Courtney assures her that he will be fine. Then, from the window, a voice says that he will not, in fact, be fine, revealed to be Opuscon himself returned to the story. He reveals that Chris is going to beat Sonic, but SNT begs him to write the story to where Sonic wins. Opuscon explains that Sonic cannot win, as he is a character with weaknesses, but Chris is a [[Comic Chris |Mary Sue]]. Opuscon and Courtney discuss, and then Opuscon explains that this fanfiction will now be exploring how he would have written the ending of '''Pokémon Ranger and the Temple of the Sea'''. Courtney expresses a desire to kill Opuscon, but as the writer, Opuscon claims she would not be able to do that. SNT asks Eggman to help them rescue Sonic, and he agrees. Sonic and Chris continue to battle, but Sonic notices himself running out of charge for his ring-based super form while Chris's power is apparently unlimited. He reverts to his normal form, and Chris stands above him, gloating. Chris invites Sonic to live the rest of his days as a CWCville citizen, but SNT challenges him to another fight while Courteny and Eggman rescue Sonic. Courtney then realizes that the only one who could hypothetically defeat Chris is SNT, as she is also a Mary Sue, and any flaws she does possess can be written away be the author easily. The others escape through the portal again.

The final battle begins. Chris launches a Curse-Ye-Ha-Me-Ha, but SNT dodges and headbutts Chris away. The two then begin uses their non-physical attacks, which are felt even by Courtney and the others. The fight transitions to a battle of punches and kicks, which Chris initially prevailed in until SNT catches on. Chris says that up to that point he was only using half of his power, but that now, he was going to go all out. Chris summons everything in the void world and crunches it together, and just before blasting it as a ball attack, monologued to SNT on how she should have relied on Sonic to win the fight because that is [[Chris and gender |a woman's place in the world]] (one may argue that it's bad writing to have Chris say that just after transitioning, but then again, hypocrisy is Chris's specialty.) Chris launches the ball, and SNT worries she has met her doom. She then hears Courtney call out to her, explaining that she just needs to forget her flaws so she can unlock her full power as a Mary Sue and show Chris that SHE IS WOMAN. HEAR HER ROAR. She pushes back Chris's ball attack, causing an explosion, reverting him back to his prior form and destroying both the [[Sonichu Medallion]] and [[Amnyfest Ring]]. SNT tries to get Chris to come with her into the real world and escape the coming calamity, but Chris declares that he hates the real world and would rather stay in his dying fantasy. SNT narrowly escapes through the portal, and Chris presumably dies in the portal. The others sorrowfully accept that they cannot save Chris. Paldea then returns to the scene, sending everyone back to where they belong.

GiBi had created his YouTube account, "GiBi_Devon" on 14 September 2015. Before posting any Chris-related videos, the channel primarily consisted of let's plays and reviews based around Star Wars movies, [[video games]], and toys (mostly [[LEGO]]). In 2019, in between the releases of the two Absurds , one of GiBi's followers began a Change.org petition to get Chris on the Dr. Phil Show. <ref> change.org/p/dr-phil-get-chris-chan-on-dr-phil </ref> which Devon would promote in an episode of the Weekly Chris Chan Update. <ref>[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hef5tBMB5ds&t=441s]</ref> The description of the petition claimed that Chris going onto the television show would help Chris in two ways. Firstly, it could provide him with some money to prevent him from becoming homeless. Secondly, if Chris acted... like Chris in front of Dr. Phil and his almost 7 million viewers, <ref>[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dr._Phil_(talk_show)]</ref> then maybe he would end up receiving some proper psychological care. GiBi states in his video promoting the petition that even if he did not expect the petition to actually get Chris onto the show, it may expose Chris to the general public and achieve the petition's latter goal. GiBi released a second video on the Dr. Phil petition, in which he encouraged his followers to start contacting Dr. Phil on X (at the time, Twitter) as soon as the petition reached 1,000 signatures.

==Jacob Saga==

The subject of [[Jacob Sockness]] was first brought up on GiBi's channel in an episode of the Weekly Chris Chan Update in early [[September 2019]], when Chris was still supposedly [[Body swap| body-swapped]] with [[Magi-Chan]]. <ref>[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=08KDQU2SC58&t=520s]</ref> Being that Sockness simply went by "Chris Kink" on Twitter at the time and his actual name was only known from a GoFundMe, the title of this video does not reference Jacob directly, but instead simply refers to him as a "predator". GiBi covers this GoFundMe as well as a few of Jacob's tweets, making several negative comments about Christory's most infamous [[white knight]]. Mere days later, GiBi released a second video on Jacob, in which he reads some of Jacob's tweets about [[Jakoba]] and conversation he had with Magi-Chan. GiBi finishes the video off by reinstating his opinion that Jacob is a danger to Chris.

Toward the end of the month, GiBi would release an Absurds episode about Jacob. Ironically enough, Jacob had asked GiBi to do that very thing before rescinding the offer for obvious reasons.

GiBi would release three episodes of the Sockness Files, in which he repeatedly spouted the opinion that Jacob was no good and went as far as to imply that Sockness may kill Chris <ref>[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xhmTbl6Gcpg]</ref>, before we would hear more from the other side of the story. In a video where GiBi declares the Jacob Saga has concluded, Devon discusses the story of how the ultimate [[enabler]] would declare a war on him. After Jacob's [[heart level| heart level was smashed down to 15%]] by Chris, Jacob would apparently blame GiBi, and he became the villain of Jacob's story. Jacob would try to convince Chris that GiBi was trying to stop the [[Dimensional Merge]] alongside [[Null]] using fake DMs and a Twitter account [[Neo Spiritual Christianity| claiming to be God]].

In [[November 2020]], in [[The Place]] server, [[Naught]] claimed that GiBi had messaged him asking about [[Praetor]] and that he had given him information, which [[MKR]] stated was "cool", "since he's popular itll get the weens on the scene".<ref>[[The Place chats (November 2020)#GiBi asks Naught about Praetor]]</ref>

In [[February 2021]], Naught and MKR spread misinformation about [[Praetor]], putting out spin to make it appear the group wanted to get Chris to use a [[taser]] on himself. Naught leaked a brief clip from the [[Taser Discussion]] call to [[Kiwi Farms]], omitting key information in his post that [[Watchmen]] members were heavily involved with the call, that Watchmen member Val had jokingly told Chris to tase himself, and that Praetor member Caden objected. GiBi produced a video on the matter in which he erroneously assumed that all voices in the leaked clip were those of Praetor members.<ref name=taservideo></ref> Chris commented on the video, defending Praetor, and claiming that all ideas involving possible taser usage were his own.<ref>[[List of Chris's comments on YouTube#Chris Chan is Convinced to Taser Himself]]</ref>

==Jail Saga==

Following from the months later, GiBi took a short hiatus on Chris-related content and instead shifted his attention to news stories. GiBi later went back to documenting Chris's known activities from jail, such as his letters and art, and occasionally providing conversations he had with other orbiters, which was exclusive to his channel.

During December of 2021, GiBi released a series of 26 videos about Chris-related topics corresponding with letters of the English alphabet. <ref>[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rtw0W-I3p2k&lc=Ugxk6jMY1Y7tZQPIRu54AaABAg]</ref> The next year, he would release a similar series of shorts containing facts about the Sonichu comics marketed as an advent-calendar. <ref>[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rtw0W-I3p2k&lc=Ugxk6jMY1Y7tZQPIRu54AaABAg]</ref> This would begin a relatively short-lived period where GiBi would release YouTube shorts every day going along with a theme that changed every month. On 19 June 2022, Chris made a drawing while in [[Central Virginia Regional Jail]] and sent it to [[Praetor]] to sell on [[Etsy]] on his behalf. The drawing depicts CPU Blue Heart being interviewed on her opinion about "pride", to which she replies that "arrogance is the real sin". Along with [[Donald Trump]] and Vladimir Putin, Chris also cites GiBi as being at risk of committing the sin, and to be considered "neutral" on Chris's apparent scale of toxicity.

On 27 August 2022, Chris drew another drawing featuring GiBi, requesting Praetor to gift it to him.<ref>[[Praetor Jail Art#READ DESCRIPTION: "A Free Gift for Gibi", dated 08/27/2022]]</ref>

On 30 [[October 2023]], Chris posted a set of drawings on [[X]]. In one, a character appearing to be GiBi remarks about having been transported to [[2006]].<ref>[[October 2023 social media posts#Livestream announcement]]</ref> GiBi made a post wondering about the identity of the character, to which Chris confirmed it was meant to be him and that he had time-traveled to the past.<ref>[[October 2023 social media posts#GiBi]]</ref>

==Why GiBi Does It==
Aside from the obvious reason that reporting on Chris has proven to be GiBi's most popular content (after all, he is now running an entire ranch on a single cow), Devon has always stated that his interest in Chris was not from the usual desire to laugh at Chris and his [[Sagas| various antics]], but instead genuine fascination or seeing his life as "beyond captivating." <ref>[[https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EAjQ-AhytMk&t=17s]]</ref>
