The inadvertent shattering of his heart from [[Sarah Hammer]], along with the expulsion from English class and the confrontation with [[Mary Lee Walsh]], provided the impetus for Christian to kick-start the comic series in full force. It initially served as a complement to his [[Love Quest]] as a feeble attempt to link an accomplishment, or boost his own self-worth to unsuspecting prey; after all, [[Sonichu]] ''is'' "Zappin' to the Extreme!" He is Christian Weston Chandler's ''only'' son, and the first ''way past cooler'' [[Electric Hedgehog Pokémon]]!

The comics series was originally hosted on the various incarnations of Christian's [[Sonichu site|homepage]] (as seen in the [[CWCipedia]] archive). In 2013 he began to upload the comics as albums on his [[Facebook]] page, and he affirmed in 2015, when he picked up the comic again, that this would be the place to find new pages. In [[September 2015]] he finally began to sell printed and autographed issues on [[Etsy]] and Lulu.com. The comic was originally promoted from now-defunct ''Sonichu'' business cards, and he has since graduated to flyers. Each new addition to the series proudly sports a "To be continued..." disclaimer page. In fact, the comics are not updated with any regular frequency: in the fifteen years since the character's creation, Chris has yet to complete twelve issues, even though he has zero responsibilities and unlimited free time.

The ''Sonichu'' series began with issue #0 instead of #1, and each issue contained multiple separately-numbered "episodes", so [[trolls|readers]] often lost track of which story happened in which issue. For example, [[Black Sonichu]] was introduced in Episode #4, which was the fifth story in the overall series and the first story in [[Sonichu 1|''Sonichu'' #1]], which was in turn the second comic. Further confounding matters were the [[Sub-Episodes]] about Christian's [[Love Quest]], which appeared in issues #0-4, and were numbered separately from the main stories.

Issues #0 and #1 featured [[Sonichu]] as the unchallenged star of the series, with [[Christian Weston Chandler (character)|Chris]] as a supporting character also appearing in the backup strips. By issue #2, the comic had abruptly transitioned to Christian encountering people from his real life in shitty [[anime]] battles. Token attempts to tell Sonichu stories and introduce Sonichu spin-off characters were made in #3, but all pretense was dropped in #4-#7 as the series becomes a vehicle for Christian, as the leader of a heroic [[Chaotic Combo|band of recolors]], to battle against [[Mary Lee Walsh|a college dean]], a group of ineffectual [[Jerkop|security guards]], [[manajerks|store managers]], and later on, [[trolls|Internet trolls]] and [[Alec Benson Leary|other people who made fun of the comic]]. Originally it was mostly innocent and harmless, being the by-product of a simple man with a childish imagination, until it became an outlet to call out trolls, explore his depraved [[Sonichu 8|sexual desires]] and live out his [[Sonichu 10|violent revenge fantasies]].

The comic series was presented as if it were a cartoon or [[anime]] (which might explain why the comics mimic visual effects that work in an audiovisual context but fail on paper), and was encapsulated into ''seasons'' with various episodes (or "series", for our European friends). [[Sonichu 10|''Sonichu'' #10]] was intended to wrap up the "first season" of ''Sonichu''. This opened a can of worms as to the current vision of the comics: was ''Sonichu'' intended to be the hit action/adventure soap-opera TV show that is broadcast in [[CWCville]], or was it the historical documentation of Christian's and Sonichu's life and times? Perhaps it was destined to be the Gospel from the Stay-at-Home Autistic Virgin Male, [[Chris and religion#Delusions of Godhood.3F|''hallowed be His name'']]. Either way, it remained unanswered whether Christian continues on with the series because he has a vain, misguided belief that some TRUE and HONEST soul would consider these as "storyboards" for proper licensing and production.

===Art imitating life===
Sensing some criticism for the self-centeredness of his work, Christian wrote himself out of the series toward the end of [[Sonichu 7|''Sonichu'' #7]], trapping the Christian character in the [[Time Void]] so that the storyline could focus on other characters. Despite this, Sonichu still served as a strong Mary Sue character, as seen in Sonichu fighting [[4-cent garbage.com]] in [[Sonichu 8|''Sonichu'' #8]], as well as the clear Sue tendencies of [[Reginald Sneasel]].

He returned from the Time Void at the end of [[Sonichu 9|''Sonichu'' #9]], giving all non-Chris characters approximately one issue to have the spotlight to themselves, during which they mostly talked about how much they loved Chris and hoped he would return safely. On the final page of the issue, Chris claimed that he would write himself out of the series permanently, giving his characters the opportunity to shine on their own. He went back on this promise almost the moment he made it — issue #10 is one of the most Christian-centric of the entire series.

Following the theft of his [[Medallions of Fail]] by [[Blanca]], Christian immediately released a new comic adapting the theft into his canon and explaining that the TRUE source of his power lay in his [[Amnyfest Ring]]. Since this story was necessarily set after Christian escapes the Time Void, it was deemed a special preview of ''Sonichu'' #10, despite the fact that Chris had at that point not finished ''Sonichu'' #8 nor begun ''Sonichu'' #9.

Chris started ''Sonichu'' #11 in [[December 2009]] and completed ''Sonichu'' #10 in [[February 2010]]. He produced a revised ending to issue #10 in [[October 2010]].<ref>[[Book10Replacement]]</ref> After a long inspirationless lull, he began churning out new pages of Sonichu #11 in [[September 2015]].

Chris has claimed that in total, he plans to complete 50 to 100 issues in his lifetime.<ref>[[CWC Personal Sonichu Presentation]]</ref>

==Currently==

On 27 [[May 2010]], Chris announced that he was abandoning the [[CWCipedia]] to the trolls. On 30 [[October 2010]], Chris claimed that the trolls drained his creativity and scared him away from drawing any more ''Sonichu''.<ref>[[DrainedCreativity]]</ref>

On 27 February [[2013]], Chris wrote in a [[Facebook]] post that he might continue, but probably won't.

On 10 [[January 2014]], Chris's house [[Destruction Of Chris's House|was gutted by a fire]]. This potentially means that all of Chris's artwork, including the master copies of the ''Sonichu'' comics, may be permanently lost, but Chris did manage to save his Nintendo DSi, so they possibly survived. They also continue to survive in digital form all across the Internet, and on the CWCki itself.

In a Facebook post on April 2015, Chris stated that if Sonichu was released as downloadable content for the fourth iteration of the ''Super Smash Bros.'' video game, he would ''consider'' resuming the Sonichu comics. Needless to say, the probability of either of these possibilities were slim to none.

A [[August 2015 Facebook Posts#New Comics?|Facebook post]] in August 2015, while Chris was enthusiastically selling his [[Sonichu Amiibo|<s>knockoff</s> "official" Amiibo figures]], seemed to imply Chris was once again interested in returning to the comics;

On 4 [[September 2015]], Chris confirmed the rumors as true and finally added new content to ''Sonichu'' for the first time in 5 years. 11 new pages were added to [[Sonichu 11|''Sonichu'' 11]] that day, with more pages added to the album "maybe every other week"; however, he cannot make any promises due to "unforeseeable variables and circumstances."

==Marketing==
In his [[August 2009]] [[resume|résumé]], Chris stated that his dream was to "get me paper-published with a comic book company like Archie, Marvel, DC or Dark Horse comics." He finally made this happen--sort of--in [[September 2015]], when he discovered [[Wikipedia:Lulu (company)|Lulu.com]] and put a bound copy of Sonichu #0 for sale for ten bucks. A print version of Book #1 appeared the following month. Although his Lulu account disappeared from public view after about a week, he continued to offer the books (autographed upon request) on [[Etsy]]. He made routine updates on [[Facebook]].

The paper used is matte and looks like the lowest quality/cheapest option he could get it printed on. Someone else mentioned it looks like "draft" quality and that pictures make it better -- it seriously is so ugly and the resolution so low, it looks like a test page, and I can't even capture how shitty it is on camera. I've purchased comics from Lulu before, and they weren't nearly this bad, so there must be varying levels of publishing quality (or Lulu themselves has dropped in quality significantly -- it's been years) and Chris picked the worst.

So, it's exactly what you expect. Low quality and no effort by Chris other than uploading it. He didn't even check to see if things fit on the ''cover''.}}

The inadvertent shattering of his heart from [[Sarah Hammer]], along with the expulsion from English class and the confrontation with [[Mary Lee Walsh]], provided the impetus for Christian to kick-start the comic series in full force. It initially served as a complement to his [[Love Quest]] as a feeble attempt to link an accomplishment, or boost his own self-worth to unsuspecting prey; after all, [[Sonichu]] ''is'' "Zappin' to the Extreme!" He is Christian Weston Chandler's ''only'' son, and the first ''way past cooler'' [[Electric Hedgehog Pokémon]]!

The comics series was originally hosted on the various incarnations of Christian's [[Sonichu site|homepage]] (as seen in the [[CWCipedia]] archive). In 2013 he began to upload the comics as albums on his [[Facebook]] page, and he affirmed in 2015, when he picked up the comic again, that this would be the place to find new pages. In [[September 2015]] he finally began to sell printed and autographed issues on [[Etsy]] and Lulu.com. The comic was originally promoted from now-defunct ''Sonichu'' business cards, and he has since graduated to flyers. Each new addition to the series proudly sports a "To be continued..." disclaimer page. In fact, the comics are not updated with any regular frequency: in the fifteen years since the character's creation, Chris has yet to complete twelve issues, even though he has zero responsibilities and unlimited free time.

The ''Sonichu'' series began with issue #0 instead of #1, and each issue contained multiple separately-numbered "episodes", so [[trolls|readers]] often lost track of which story happened in which issue. For example, [[Black Sonichu]] was introduced in Episode #4, which was the fifth story in the overall series and the first story in [[Sonichu 1|''Sonichu'' #1]], which was in turn the second comic. Further confounding matters were the [[Sub-Episodes]] about Christian's [[Love Quest]], which appeared in issues #0-4, and were numbered separately from the main stories.

Issues #0 and #1 featured [[Sonichu]] as the unchallenged star of the series, with [[Christian Weston Chandler (character)|Chris]] as a supporting character also appearing in the backup strips. By issue #2, the comic had abruptly transitioned to Christian encountering people from his real life in shitty [[anime]] battles. Token attempts to tell Sonichu stories and introduce Sonichu spin-off characters were made in #3, but all pretense was dropped in #4-#7 as the series becomes a vehicle for Christian, as the leader of a heroic [[Chaotic Combo|band of recolors]], to battle against [[Mary Lee Walsh|a college dean]], a group of ineffectual [[Jerkop|security guards]], [[manajerks|store managers]], and later on, [[trolls|Internet trolls]] and [[Alec Benson Leary|other people who made fun of the comic]]. Originally it was mostly innocent and harmless, being the by-product of a simple man with a childish imagination, until it became an outlet to call out trolls, explore his depraved [[Sonichu 8|sexual desires]] and live out his [[Sonichu 10|violent revenge fantasies]].

The comic series was presented as if it were a cartoon or [[anime]] (which might explain why the comics mimic visual effects that work in an audiovisual context but fail on paper), and was encapsulated into ''seasons'' with various episodes (or "series", for our European friends). [[Sonichu 10|''Sonichu'' #10]] was intended to wrap up the "first season" of ''Sonichu''. This opened a can of worms as to the current vision of the comics: was ''Sonichu'' intended to be the hit action/adventure soap-opera TV show that is broadcast in [[CWCville]], or was it the historical documentation of Christian's and Sonichu's life and times? Perhaps it was destined to be the Gospel from the Stay-at-Home Autistic Virgin Male, [[Chris and religion#Delusions of Godhood.3F|''hallowed be His name'']]. Either way, it remained unanswered whether Christian continues on with the series because he has a vain, misguided belief that some TRUE and HONEST soul would consider these as "storyboards" for proper licensing and production.

===Art imitating life===
Sensing some criticism for the self-centeredness of his work, Christian wrote himself out of the series toward the end of [[Sonichu 7|''Sonichu'' #7]], trapping the Christian character in the [[Time Void]] so that the storyline could focus on other characters. Despite this, Sonichu still served as a strong Mary Sue character, as seen in Sonichu fighting [[4-cent garbage.com]] in [[Sonichu 8|''Sonichu'' #8]], as well as the clear Sue tendencies of [[Reginald Sneasel]].

He returned from the Time Void at the end of [[Sonichu 9|''Sonichu'' #9]], giving all non-Chris characters approximately one issue to have the spotlight to themselves, during which they mostly talked about how much they loved Chris and hoped he would return safely. On the final page of the issue, Chris claimed that he would write himself out of the series permanently, giving his characters the opportunity to shine on their own. He went back on this promise almost the moment he made it — issue #10 is one of the most Christian-centric of the entire series.

Following the theft of his [[Medallions of Fail]] by [[Blanca]], Christian immediately released a new comic adapting the theft into his canon and explaining that the TRUE source of his power lay in his [[Amnyfest Ring]]. Since this story was necessarily set after Christian escapes the Time Void, it was deemed a special preview of ''Sonichu'' #10, despite the fact that Chris had at that point not finished ''Sonichu'' #8 nor begun ''Sonichu'' #9.

Chris started ''Sonichu'' #11 in [[December 2009]] and completed ''Sonichu'' #10 in [[February 2010]]. He produced a revised ending to issue #10 in [[October 2010]].<ref>[[Book10Replacement]]</ref> After a long inspirationless lull, he began churning out new pages of Sonichu #11 in [[September 2015]].

On 27 [[May 2010]], Chris announced that he was abandoning the [[CWCipedia]] to the trolls. On 30 [[October 2010]], Chris claimed that the trolls drained his creativity and scared him away from drawing any more ''Sonichu''.<ref>[[DrainedCreativity]]</ref>

On 27 February [[2013]], Chris wrote in a [[Facebook]] post that he might continue, but probably won't.

This potentially means that all of Chris's artwork, including the master copies of the ''Sonichu'' comics, may be permanently lost, but Chris did manage to save his Nintendo DSi, so they possibly survived. They also continue to survive in digital form all across the Internet, and on the CWCki itself.

In a Facebook post on April 2015, Chris stated that if Sonichu was released as downloadable content for the fourth iteration of the ''Super Smash Bros.'' video game, he would ''consider'' resuming the Sonichu comics. Needless to say, the probability of either of these possibilities were slim to none.

==Marketing==
In his [[August 2009]] [[resume|résumé]], Chris stated that his dream was to "get me paper-published with a comic book company like Archie, Marvel, DC or Dark Horse comics." He finally made this happen--sort of--in [[September 2015]], when he discovered [[Wikipedia:Lulu (company)|Lulu.com]] and put a bound copy of Sonichu #0 for sale for ten bucks. A print version of Book #1 appeared the following month. Although his Lulu account disappeared from public view after about a week, he continued to offer the books (autographed upon request) on [[Etsy]]. He made routine updates on [[Facebook]].

I don't know if this is because he just copied/pasted a book spine he ''assumed'' would work, or if he really underestimated how big the book would be. Probably both. It honestly is so poorly done and so low quality that if Chris wasn't ''saying'' it was his I would assume this was a troll attempt to make him look bad.

The back cover is significantly less pixelated, but still looks like garbage because it is, of course, drawn all in markers and pen by Chris.

The paper used is matte and looks like the lowest quality/cheapest option he could get it printed on. Someone else mentioned it looks like "draft" quality and that pictures make it better -- it seriously is so ugly and the resolution so low, it looks like a test page, and I can't even capture how shitty it is on camera. I've purchased comics from Lulu before, and they weren't nearly this bad, so there must be varying levels of publishing quality (or Lulu themselves has dropped in quality significantly -- it's been years) and Chris picked the worst.

So, it's exactly what you expect. Low quality and no effort by Chris other than uploading it. He didn't even check to see if things fit on the ''cover''.}}

The contents of this and the other completed and future books have been edited to allow the age range to be for the TV-Y7 and above.

It will take me a week or two to put together the pages into the publishing site's template size, uploading them there, and then it will take up to another four weeks for them to print and ship the books to me, so I can autograph them and send them each off to each person who will have reserved a copy. Therefore, the estimated wait time for the books' full completion will be as late as the end of October of this year.

It initially served as a complement to his [[Love Quest]] as a feeble attempt to link an accomplishment, or boost his own self-worth to unsuspecting prey; after all, [[Sonichu]] ''is'' "Zappin' to the Extreme!" He is Christian Weston Chandler's ''only'' son, and the first ''way past cooler'' [[Electric Hedgehog Pokémon]]!

The comics series was originally hosted on the various incarnations of Christian's [[Sonichu site|homepage]] (as seen in the [[CWCipedia]] archive). By issue #2, the comic had abruptly transitioned to Christian encountering people from his real life in shitty [[anime]] battles. Token attempts to tell Sonichu stories and introduce Sonichu spin-off characters were made in #3, but all pretense was dropped in #4-#7 as the series becomes a vehicle for Christian, as the leader of a heroic [[Chaotic Combo|band of recolors]], to battle against [[Mary Lee Walsh|a college dean]], a group of ineffectual [[Jerkop|security guards]], [[manajerks|store managers]], and later on, [[trolls|Internet trolls]] and [[Alec Benson Leary|other people who made fun of the comic]]. Originally it was mostly innocent and harmless, being the by-product of a simple man with a childish imagination, until it became an outlet to call out trolls, explore his depraved [[Sonichu 8|sexual desires]] and live out his [[Sonichu 10|violent revenge fantasies]].

The comic series was presented as if it were a cartoon or [[anime]] (which might explain why the comics mimic visual effects that work in an audiovisual context but fail on paper), and was encapsulated into ''seasons'' with various episodes (or "series", for our European friends). [[Sonichu 10|''Sonichu'' #10]] was intended to wrap up the "first season" of ''Sonichu''. This opened a can of worms as to the current vision of the comics: was ''Sonichu'' intended to be the hit action/adventure soap-opera TV show that is broadcast in [[CWCville]], or was it the historical documentation of Christian's and Sonichu's life and times? Perhaps it was destined to be the Gospel from the Stay-at-Home Autistic Virgin Male, [[Chris and religion#Delusions of Godhood.3F|''hallowed be His name'']]. Either way, it remained unanswered whether Christian continues on with the series because he has a vain, misguided belief that some TRUE and HONEST soul would consider these as "storyboards" for proper licensing and production.

===Art imitating life===
Sensing some criticism for the self-centeredness of his work, Christian wrote himself out of the series toward the end of [[Sonichu 7|''Sonichu'' #7]], trapping the Christian character in the [[Time Void]] so that the storyline could focus on other characters. Despite this, Sonichu still served as a strong Mary Sue character, as seen in Sonichu fighting [[4-cent garbage.com]] in [[Sonichu 8|''Sonichu'' #8]], as well as the clear Sue tendencies of [[Reginald Sneasel]].

He returned from the Time Void at the end of [[Sonichu 9|''Sonichu'' #9]], giving all non-Chris characters approximately one issue to have the spotlight to themselves, during which they mostly talked about how much they loved Chris and hoped he would return safely. On the final page of the issue, Chris claimed that he would write himself out of the series permanently, giving his characters the opportunity to shine on their own. He went back on this promise almost the moment he made it — issue #10 is one of the most Christian-centric of the entire series.

Following the theft of his [[Medallions of Fail]] by [[Blanca]], Christian immediately released a new comic adapting the theft into his canon and explaining that the TRUE source of his power lay in his [[Amnyfest Ring]]. Since this story was necessarily set after Christian escapes the Time Void, it was deemed a special preview of ''Sonichu'' #10, despite the fact that Chris had at that point not finished ''Sonichu'' #8 nor begun ''Sonichu'' #9.

Chris started ''Sonichu'' #11 in [[December 2009]] and completed ''Sonichu'' #10 in [[February 2010]]. He produced a revised ending to issue #10 in [[October 2010]].<ref>[[Book10Replacement]]</ref> After a long inspirationless lull, he began churning out new pages of Sonichu #11 in [[September 2015]].

Chris has claimed that in total, he plans to complete 50 to 100 issues in his lifetime.<ref>[[CWC Personal Sonichu Presentation]]</ref>

On 27 [[May 2010]], Chris announced that he was abandoning the [[CWCipedia]] to the trolls. On 30 [[October 2010]], Chris claimed that the trolls drained his creativity and scared him away from drawing any more ''Sonichu''.<ref>[[DrainedCreativity]]</ref>

On 27 February [[2013]], Chris wrote in a [[Facebook]] post that he might continue, but probably won't.

On 10 [[January 2014]], Chris's house [[Destruction Of Chris's House|was gutted by a fire]]. This potentially means that all of Chris's artwork, including the master copies of the ''Sonichu'' comics, may be permanently lost, but Chris did manage to save his Nintendo DSi, so they possibly survived. They also continue to survive in digital form all across the Internet, and on the CWCki itself.

In a Facebook post on April 2015, Chris stated that if Sonichu was released as downloadable content for the fourth iteration of the ''Super Smash Bros.'' video game, he would ''consider'' resuming the Sonichu comics. Needless to say, the probability of either of these possibilities were slim to none.

==Marketing==
In his [[August 2009]] [[resume|résumé]], Chris stated that his dream was to "get me paper-published with a comic book company like Archie, Marvel, DC or Dark Horse comics." He finally made this happen--sort of--in [[September 2015]], when he discovered [[Wikipedia:Lulu (company)|Lulu.com]] and put a bound copy of Sonichu #0 for sale for ten bucks. A print version of Book #1 appeared the following month. Although his Lulu account disappeared from public view after about a week, he continued to offer the books (autographed upon request) on [[Etsy]]. He made routine updates on [[Facebook]].

The spine is completely fucked up, and spills over onto the back of the book, making it totally useless -- the bottom half of text can't be viewed from the side. If by some shitty reason you ever wanted to buy multiple future issues to put on your shelf, you'd never be able to tell which one is which. I don't know if this is because he just copied/pasted a book spine he ''assumed'' would work, or if he really underestimated how big the book would be. Probably both. The result is that the cover is one of the worst things in comic history. It honestly is so poorly done and so low quality that if Chris wasn't ''saying'' it was his I would assume this was a troll attempt to make him look bad.

The back cover is significantly less pixelated, but still looks like garbage because it is, of course, drawn all in markers and pen by Chris.

The paper used is matte and looks like the lowest quality/cheapest option he could get it printed on. Someone else mentioned it looks like "draft" quality and that pictures make it better -- it seriously is so ugly and the resolution so low, it looks like a test page, and I can't even capture how shitty it is on camera. I've purchased comics from Lulu before, and they weren't nearly this bad, so there must be varying levels of publishing quality (or Lulu themselves has dropped in quality significantly -- it's been years) and Chris picked the worst.

So, it's exactly what you expect. Low quality and no effort by Chris other than uploading it. He didn't even check to see if things fit on the ''cover''.}}

I think the graduation section should link to every time Chris has re-told what happened on Graduation Day, to show how the story has evolved each time he told it. In addition to what's already there, he's whined about it in the [[Jackie E-mails]], one of the [[Kacey Calls]] and most recently the [[Autism Tutorial]]. It seems like every time he tells the story, he adds more details to explain why he was crying, like he's trying to pretend that the awards weren't the only thing he cared about it and he was only crying because it was "dark and rainy" or whatever, not because he's a crybaby shithead. Also the Autism Tutorial is the first time he re-imagined the story without even mentioning the awards, instead he implies that he only run away crying because he's Autistic. Then Bionic the hedgehog sitting with Megagi La Skunk [who has been further down-graded and is wearing a frilly dress(she becomes important later)]. Following them is Blazebob Sonichu and Chloe Rosechu who are completely at peace with their uselessness and their former owner's fiery death. And finally, Patti-chan, Chris's dog who was denied eternal rest and peace so she could live in CWCville (another important character later).

==Creation and development==

Chris revealed on his [[User:ChrisChanSonichu profile#Sonichu's Birth|fail Wikipedia page]] that Sonichu is a product of a Computer Graphics Class. In March [[2000]], Chris had to create a CD Cover for an assignment. Despite being a ridiculously simple project, with infinite possibilities for a possible CD cover, Chris still struggled with the assignment, because he could not use copyrighted characters. It seemed as if Chris's usual technique of "cover everything with shitty video game characters" wouldn't work this time. But then, inspiration struck:

Thus, an [[Internet]] legend, Sonichu, was born.

Chris created the [[CWC's Sonichu Site!]] five months later, in August [[2000]]. A few drawings of Sonichu appeared on the site, mostly on homemade Pokemon cards and other various and sundry shit.

The comic began shortly thereafter: Chris drew a few short comics in the following four years which eventually appeared in [[Sonichu 0#Classic Sonichu Strips|''Sonichu'' #0]]. The comic was completed and released in [[2005]], five years after Sonichu's conception (and to think people bitch about waiting a few months for new comics to come out...).

Sonichu's character design has slightly changed since Chris scrawled the first poorly drawn Sonichu. Due to [[Megan]]'s influence (read: wanting her sweet, wet [[china]]), ''Sonichu'' took on a more anime-like appearance. However, despite drawing Sonichu for over a decade, Chris has somehow managed to maintain the [[Chris and art|drawing skills of a six-year-old]].

One day the city of [[Station Square]] was under siege by the [[Perfect Chaos Monster]], and [[Sonic the Hedgehog]] attempted to battle the creature. While using the six [[Chaos Emeralds]] to transform into Super Sonic, Sonic bumped into the Pikachu who happened upon the scene. This collision somehow mutated the Pikachu so that it evolved to possess the physical characteristics and abilities of Sonic. After dispatching with the Perfect Chaos Monster, and being mistaken for Sonic, the newly evolved Pikachu declared himself to be a new species of [[Pokémon]]: Sonichu.

After his transformation, he ran back to his parents' nest, where he found that they had been caught by Pokémon trainers. Showing the same [[Chris and death|callousness]] his creator shows after a loss, Sonichu does not seem to have attempted to find them, never mentioned them again, and even refers to [[Christian Weston Chandler (character)|Chris]] as his father.<ref>[http://archive.cogsdev.org/cwcipedia/index.php?title=Sonichu Sonichu]</ref>

While Sonichu had gained new abilities from his transformation, his larger size made it impractical for him to forage for nuts and berries in the forest. Upon discovering [[Rosechu]] in the woods, he hoped to beg for food from her trainer, [[Kel]] and thus stalked Rosechu back to her and Kel's cabin, whereupon he introduced himself to them. Rosechu was immediately attracted to Sonichu for such qualities as being unable to name his favorite color. Their whirlwind romance was quickly consummated, and the two became passionate lovers. After rescuing Rosechu from [[Naitsirhc]] at [[CWCville Mall]], Sonichu became recognized as the hero of the city. [[CWCville]]'s Mayor, [[Christian Weston Chandler (character)|Christian Weston Chandler]], congratulated him for his victory; Sonichu in turn commended his creator's work on the Sonichu comics and wished him luck in his [[Love Quest]].

Although Naitsirhc had been defeated, he succeeded in obtaining a sample of Sonichu's DNA which his adopted father [[Giovanni]] and [[Doctor Robotnik]] used to create [[Black Sonichu]]. Black Sonichu was sent to capture Rosechu to lure Sonichu into a trap; however Giovanni and Robotnik did not reckon on Sonichu joining forces with Sonic. Together they overwhelmed both Blachu and [[Metal Sonichu]] to rescue Rosechu, who later met [[Amy Rose]].

One day, while zapping to the extreme, Sonichu encountered The Destiny Cave, a mysterious [[Cherokian]] chamber guarded by an old man. The keeper of the Destiny Cave explained that Sonichu was the prophesied creature whose master would enter the cave and receive special powers. Sonichu reported this to Christian, and took him back to the cave. There, they learned the [[Anchuent Prophecy]], which reveals that Chris is the reincarnation of his Cherokian ancestor and foretells of the release of an [[Count Graduon|ancient evil]]. Sonichu blamed himself for allowing this evil force to escape, but Chris reassured him. After Chris took on the powers of [[Chris-chan Sonichu]], which transformed him into a hedgehog, Sonichu helped him adjust to his new powers and body. No sooner had Chris-Chan mastered these abilities when he and his son were ambushed by [[Wes-Li Sonichu]], the reincarnation of the head of the [[Wasabi Clan]], who sought to renew the hostilities between the Wasabis and Cherokees. [[Saramah Rosechu]], the reincarnation of the wife of Chris's ancestor, intervened to stop the battle. Sonichu and these three prophesied hedgehogs formed a tenuous alliance to defeat a giant golem monster summoned by [[Mary Lee Walsh]] and [[Count Graduon]].

When Sonichu learned of Blachu's attempt to steal the [[Legendary Master Sunstone]], he zapped to the scene of the crime, only to discover five other electric hedgehog Pokemon created by the same effect that created himself and Rosechu. Sonichu led this newly formed [[Chaotic Combo]] into battle against Blachu, defeating him utterly.

One day, Christian and Sonichu were chillin' at the mall when Mary Lee Walsh's forces attacked CWCville, prompting Christian to summon the Chaotic Combo and transform with his [[Crystal Weston Chandler (character)|twin sister]] into [[Chrs-Chan Pure]]. Sonichu contributed relatively little to this battle, as Chris did most of the heavy lifting. In the aftermath of the attack, during which Crystal was imprisoned in Count Graduon's [[Dark Mirror Hole]], Sonichu confided to Rosechu about dreams of seeing his creator with long hair in a mirror. When [[Reldnahc Ha-Taque]] and Black Sonichu attacked CWCville Mall, Sonichu and [[Magi-Chan]] accompanied Chris in responding to the emergency. Sonichu largely hung back as Chris battled his homosexual evil twin.

After the threat of Reldnahc was eliminated, Chris, Magi-Chan, and Sonichu pooled their efforts to retrieve one of the seven [[Sonichu Balls]] from [[1990s#1996|1996]]. Magi-chan created a sphere to contain them, which Sonichu's tremendous speed would accelerate backwards through time. Although they successfully obtained the Sonichu Ball and returned to the present, Chris was lost in the time stream. Sonichu was disheartened by the disappearance of his father, but was able to console Rosechu so that she would be willing to have sex with him.

One day, after having hours of sexual intercourse, Sonichu and Rosechu discovered the website [[4-cent_garbage.com]] spreading slanderous lies about them and their friends. Most notably, the site had pictures of Rosechu with a penis -- pictures which caused Sonichu to collapse into violent nausea. Outraged, the couple stormed the 4-cent_garbage.com building to confront [[Jason Kendrick Howell]]. When Howell refused to remove the offending content from his website, Sonichu attacked him in an rage, but was easily defeated. It instead fell to Rosechu to teach Howell a lesson by shoving her breasts and pussy in his face while eating his brain.

During Spring Break, Sonichu was briefly seen talking to Rosechu and surfing.

When forces of evil attacked CWCville, Sonichu took time out from [[Chris and anger|raging]] at [[homos]] and [[Women's rights|objectifying his wife]] in order to defend the city. When granted the opportunity to finish the primary villain once and for all, Sonichu released her in order to allow his father to grab all the glory of defeating her (and thus putting the city in further danger).

After Chris's return from the Time Void, Sonichu returned to his role as second fiddle to Chris, doing the latter's bidding as [[Ultra Sonichu]] with some godlike powers of his own. After [[Collosal Chan]]'s crimes against humanity, Sonichu served as "plaintif"[sic]/witness in the mock trial of the [[Asperpedia]] Four, and after the predetermined verdict, took part in Evan's brutal execution.

Sonichu has also made an appearance drawn in marker on CWC's [[duck]].

==Characteristics and personal life==

Sonichu's hobbies include running, surfing and chillin'. He enjoys outdoors activities and the scenery around him. He appears to be undecided on whether his favorite color is yellow or blue.

Sonichu's voice, as Chris would be his ideal candidate for a voice actor should there ever be a ''Sonichu'' cartoon, is more or less Chris's voice but in a slightly higher tone.<ref>[[Mumble 6#Chris is Stressed.2C Moving On|Mumble 6]]</ref>
He is deeply in love with his [[sweet-bolt]], Rosechu, with whom he lives at a subdivision at [[14 Branchland Court|14 Brunchville Lane]], CWCville, [[Chris's_homes|Virginia]], [[Chris's birthday|02024-1982]]. Sonichu is normally rather calm and collected, but when Rosechu's reputation is besmirched he flies into unthinking rage and/or [[Sonichu 8|vomits profusely]]. Sonichu is rarely seen away from Rosechu's side, and it is possible that his relationship with her has become overly possessive and [[I'LL BREAK YOU DEAD|abusive behind closed doors]].

The two have gone to great lengths to keep it under wraps, wearing gloves ''over'' their wedding rings and keeping their [[Sonichu and Rosechu's Children|three children]] — Cerah (potentially named after [[Sarah Hammer]], [[Sarah Jackson]], [[PandaHalo]] or [[Sarah May]]; take your pick), Robbie (most likely named after the retarded hero from [[The Adventures of The American Rabbit]], or the not-so-retarded [[Bob|hero]] of the Chandler household), and Christine (one guess) — hidden in the [[Wikipedia:Flowers_in_the_Attic|attic like so many flowers]]. Whatever sordid reason for burying their union remains a mystery. It has become rapidly apparent that Christian believes that his characters exist outside the confines of his scented marker universe, though one wonders if a personage as bland and poorly-developed as [[Wild Sonichu]] could truly survive in our harsh world.

Although many of his friends are members of his own species, his closest friend is his father and creator, Christian Weston Chandler. As the ''Sonichu'' series has shifted its focus from the titular character to its writer, Sonichu's role has been that of Christian's closest confident as he struggles to persevere in his Love Quest and endure the Stressful Torture of the internet bullies. Aside from the obvious super-speed and body-spinning powers transferred to him from Sonic, Sonichu also possesses many powers based on his original Pikachu form, most notably his lightning and thunder attacks. Some of his special attacks include:

Interestingly, it is said that Sonichu and [[Blake]] are virtually the same. That being said, if one takes Blake's training in [[Sonichu 1|''Sonichu'' #1]] seriously, then that would mean that Sonichu is actually ''slower'' than Sonic. Blake's given speed was 200 km/h (124 mph), much slower than Sonic, who can apparently hit Mach 1 (1,225 km/h / 761 mph) unassisted (so far, the best Sega has been able to show in-game is around 300 mph (483 km/h) in [[Wikipedia:Sonic Unleashed|''Sonic Unleashed'']]). Even more, it is said that Blake can reach a spinning power of 200 rpm, which is barely enough to get a cool breeze. (However, in ''[[Sonichu's News Dash!]]'' #2 Chris claimed that Sonichu can go faster than the speed of sound.)

==Sonichu as a Mary Sue==

One of the chief traits of Sonichu that drew [[trolls]] to Chris, aside from being an unoriginal Sonic recolor that blatantly violates international copyright laws, is that Sonichu is a [[Wikipedia:Mary Sue|Mary Sue]] unoriginal Sonic recolor that blatantly violates international copyright laws. In other words, he is an obvious avatar for Chris's personal power fantasies.

When the comics don't focus on Chris himself, they still manage to focus on Sonichu, who serves as Chris's idealized version of himself. Unlike Chris, Sonichu has a girlfriend whom he met, fell in love with, and drew into a meaningful relationship in a few hours' time; is fast, good looking, and loved by everyone; and despite his success, he somehow manages to "admire" Chris.

A notable instance of Sonichu as a Mary Sue is in [[Sonichu 8|''Sonichu'' #8]], during the battle with [[4-cent_garbage.com]], where Sonichu merely stands in for Chris as he fights the trolls. The fact that Sonichu ultimately gets his ass kicked and has to be saved by his sweetheart just adds another level to this dumbfuckery.

Also, Chris's version of his beloved [[Charlottesville Fashion Square]], where he is not banned but rather is welcomed and works there.

Chris designed the mall as a [[CADD]] project in PVCC, and since [[Hotel Ricky Ricardo|no good school project goes unrecycled and unpublished]], is now using the design in the comics. The plans were in [[Scrapbook of Fail]],{{cite}} and Chris's original AutoCAD files were leaked.

Chris has said that the City of CWCville owns the mall,<ref>[[Mailbag 13]]</ref> which in real life doesn't usually happen until a mall is closed off and condemned. Most existing malls, even ones that are close to dead, are owned by real estate investment trusts. Furthermore, Chris has included several stores that either don't exist in real life, or used to exist but no longer do; the store placement, selection and other fine details are all over the place, but only retail-obsessed fags would truly whine about someone making a fictional mall that has so much insanity.

Locating a mall in a downtown isn't entirely unfeasible, either. Although many attempts to bring malls downtown usually result in [[fail]]ure, there are occasional bouts of success with this approach. Charleston Town Center in downtown Charleston, West Virginia is but one example.

There is, however, no excuse for putting the fucking ''mayor's office'' in the mall, except as a reference to the Adult Swim show [http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom_Goes_to_the_Mayor Tom Goes To The Mayor], which Chris probably watched.

Due to a severe sense of [[Chris and his Ego|entitlement]], a lifetime of coddling and [[autism|other factors that are beyond his control]], Christian Weston Chandler is horrible when it comes to negotiation.

==Chris can't compromise==
'''Negotiation''' is based on compromise. Both parties must work together in order to find the best possible solution to solve both of their problems in a satisfactory manner. Chris doesn't understand this.

On numerous occasions, Chris has tried to negotiate by either listing a bunch of ridiculous demands or outright refusing to give anything up or do anything at all for that matter. After he makes his case, his mind is "closed on the matter" and he is unwilling to budge.

When he was given [[CWCipedia|his own wiki]] for free, he demanded that ads featuring homoerotic images were taken down. When that failed, he said that he wanted them to be smaller. When he couldn't have that done, he said that he wanted them to be moved. He wanted to have total control over his ad space even though the owner sold it to [[Jack Thaddeus]]. When he tried to make amends with Alec Benson Leary, the acclaimed creator of Asperchu, he demanded that Alec tell his fans to go back to Sonichu. This was after he drew a comic where he broke into Alec's house, stole a dating game of his XBox and freed a group of Rosechus that he implied were the victims of sexual abuse.

==Chris is lazy==
Many of these scenarios involve Chris actually getting off his ass and doing something. During the Nintendo saga, [[Shigeru Miyamoto]] stated that Chris must meet him at Nintendo's American headquarters in Redmond, Washington. Chris handled this by making a video where he pretended to come back from Redmond. When he was pressed on the matter, he said that he had no money. When he was asked why he had no money, he said he had no job. When he was asked why he didn't have a job, he said... and so on.

One of the demands Chris faces often is that he sell or throw out some of his toys or games. Despite his claims that he plays with everything in his room, a quick glance at his [[PSN]] account shows otherwise. Most of his PSN activity is divided between [[LittleBigPlanet]], God of War 3 and [[ModNation Racers]], which leaves most of his games untouched. Even though he doesn't use the vast majority of the toys and games he owns, he refuses to sell them. This refusal is usually followed up by him saying that he doesn't have the money to do something.

Whenever Chris wants to meet one of his "[[sweethearts]]" in real life, he usually wants them to come to him, no matter how difficult such a trip would be. He wanted [[PandaHalo]] to come to him despite her living in Australia. He wanted [[Julie]] to come to him even though she was supposedly a poor immigrant who couldn't afford a car or busfare. He wanted [[Kacey]] to come to him even though she lived in the DC area, which is an hour or so from Ruckersville.

One of the most recent sweethearts, [[Jackie e-mails|Jackie]], was willing to have a relationship with Chris as long as he tried to become a better person. Instead of trying to put in a minimal amount of effort and try to better himself, he decided to end things.

==Chris thinks ignoring obstacles makes them not exist==
When Chris faces a task including something he does not like, or attempts to claim something that he is not allowed to have (such as a contest), he completely ignores those variables.

When the road to a reward has a sign that bluntly says Chris is not eligible, he will attempt to get the reward anyway, calling those presenting said reward assholes when he fails to acquire it. When Chris has to meet a requirement during a negotiation (such as a deadline), he will explain that he is "working on it" and submit his part of the deal whenever the fuck he wants, well after the deadline.
