A Jerkop is a mall security guard, police officer or prison guard. The word itself is a portmanteau of "JERK" and "cop". Female Jerkops are sometimes called Janekops.

In the Sonichu comics, Jerkops serve as the villainous private army of Mary Lee Walsh and Count Graduon, with Sonichu liberating them from the former's control in Sonichu #10.

Appearance
Jerkops typically resemble human beings wearing red, white, or brown police-style uniforms. Chris goes into greater detail in his "Backyard Safari" feature in Sonichu #4:

Rank and file Jerkops are depicted in an even simpler fashion than the other background characters in the Sonichu comics. Their legs are often held tightly together, as if they move via tiny wheels on the undersides of their feet. They have plain, curved, vase-like white bodies. Their female counterparts, Janekops, look about the same, except for their prominent breasts and neck-length hairstyles.

Chris would later elaborate on the Jerkop uniforms on the CWCipedia. White uniforms were for low-class Jerkops, such as new recruits. Red uniforms were for an intermediate rank, possessing "Good Amount of Expierences and Combat Skills." Finally, brown uniforms were for the highest class, including Jerkhiefs and Jerkop Daitenzen such as Bagget.
Mecha-Jerkops
Robotic minions of the Jerkops, the Mecha-Jerkops first appeared in Sonichu #3. Humanoid in appearance, Mecha-Jerkops are about half the size of normal humans, and are dressed and armed to resemble human Jerkops in every other respect. Because of this, and Chris's inconsistent depiction of scale and perspective, it is difficult to distinguish Mecha-Jerkops from their organic counterparts, and they may have appeared in subsequent issues without being named.

In Sub-Episode 4, "McAttack Part 1", B-Manajerk explains that the Jerkhief informed him of Chris and his Love Quest. To help the Manajerks at Mal-Wart defeat Chris, the Jerkhief sent a pair of Mecha-Jerkops to help the B-Manajerk, and his partner, the Merried Seinor Comic. Before the Mecha-Jerkops could act, however, they were cut down by the sword of Darkbind Sonichu, who had come to help Chris battle the Manajerks.

Police?
While a common misconception holds that Chris essentially delivered a verbose "Fuck tha Police" through the Jerkop characters, he clarified in Sonichu #5 that brown (mall security) is wrong, while more common black and blue (police officers) are TRUE and HONEST. A lot of what Chris wrote about the Jerkops was a feeble effort to undermine the authority of private security staff by comparing them unfavorably with the police. So in mocking the Jerkops' "cracker" badges and hyping "the true police people", Chris ironically put the police on a pedestal.

That said, Chris held a very narrow definition of a "true" police officer. When describing the origins of the Jerkops on CWCipedia, Chris again pointed out that they wore uniforms "OF COLORS OTHER THAN BLUE OR BLACK." This seemed to be a major sticking point for Chris. As far as he was concerned, the color of a cop's uniform provided the sole signifier of his authority, even though many police officers wear brown or white uniforms (or plain clothes when undercover) whether Chris approves or not. Brown is also a popular choice for county police and sheriff's deputies' uniforms (i.e. those serving Greene County), while blue is more common in the cities.

Whatever he was wearing at the time, Marcus Baggett was definitely a real police officer when he arrested Chris in 2004. Nevertheless, Chris still lumped him into the same category as all the security guards who gave him a hard time. So, according to Chris's earlier outlook, cops are only okay as long as they wear blue and black AND they don't try to arrest him for breaking the law.

Subsequent to the events of 28 October 2011, these distinctions are moot. Chris now hates and fears all security guards or police officers regardless of their uniforms or the source of their authority. In a Facebook status update from January 2012, made during an attempt to trawl the Fashion Square Mall for sweethearts, he states: "After October 28, 2011; I know have TOTAL Disrespect and Miscontent of the soo-called Officers of the Badge." This was cemented further in a September 2013 post in which he wrote: "From this moment, I loathe ALL Charlottesville and Ruckersville "Police"; God Damned Jerkops!!! Trolls and Bullies; Every Last One If Them!!!" Chris also proclaimed that no police were to be allowed in CWCville.

However, when he got arrested in August 2021, he uncharacteristically complied with officers (albeit on the advice of The WCT and openly invoking the Dimensional Merge as he did so), suggesting it may not be so much that his antipathy towards the Jerkops has abated within the past several years, but that he instead opts for descent into fantasy to live in denial that he could ever be deserving of legal scrutiny.

That being said, in late May 2024 when he caught a Kiwi Farms user's car approaching his house on security camera, he threatened to report any future stalkers to the authorities using footage as proof. You need not guess why he would suddenly decide the law isn't all villainous.

Police in Sonichu
While CWCville has a police department in Sonichu, they rarely ever appear, except to support Chris and Sonichu while they defend the city instead. In Sonichu #5 Chris dismisses them from the battlefield as soon as he arrives, and in #9 they're only mentioned as part of the city's defenses. Finally, in #10, Chris introduces Constables Lou Perez and Gerald Grant, when Magi-Chan sends them to check Inos into a soup hotel.clear

Equipment
MY WOODEN BADGE WAS DELICIOUS!

Jerkops, in fitting with their mission to prevent autistic manchildren from procreating, are equipped with faux badges, evidently made of crackers, glitter glue and tree bark. What purpose these serve is unknown, as no one would be so retarded as to fall for such a shoddy disguise.

In terms of weaponry, most Jerkops carry a stale breadstick, in place of a traditional nightstick, pulled from nowhere. The Jerkops also used handcuffs on one occasion, although this may not be standard issue. Jerkhief wields a Halberd-like Pole Axe, and wears a suit of powered armor with Laser Cannons and Missile Lauchers in its shoulders and back, along with the ability to fire off its fists like rockets- he also keeps a Pistol and a Metal Slingshot as backup weaponry. Jerkop Daitenzen wields a sword, and his costume seems to be made of a special material that protects him from the electric attacks of Chris-Chan Sonichu.

The Jerkops also employ several transforming robots for transportation and battle. These include "Punislavs", which transform into brown-liveried Police Cruisers, "Scoundrels as Vessels", which transform into heavily-armoured SUVs, and "Crackders", which transform into dark blue Jet Fighters. The Crackder model proved instrumental in Bagget's capture of Chris in Sonichu #4.
clear

Weaknesses
As demonstrated above, the best way to reduce those who prevent you from violating the law to a quivering pile of jelly is a good kick in the balls, or as Chris calls it, the "Sourdough region." The lowest levels of Jerkop require only a single kick to this region, while higher-level Jerkops such as the Jerkhief may require as many as five kicks, because their fat absorbs the impact.

Creation of a Jerkop
According to the CWCipedia, Jerkops are normal men and women who ended up attending Slaweel Ryam's school, known as "Prowldent Virginia Community College." Upon entering the school for the first day, they are unwittingly infected with "brainwashing powder" that subconsciously affects them. They can live normal lives, but once Slaweel has need for them, she'll activate the brainwashing, and the Jerkops will don their uniforms and go cockblock Chris.

As seen in Chris's earlier documentation, the Jerkops also make use of a "Hypno-Gun" to add to their numbers, since they have such a hard time reproducing. In describing the hypno-gun, Chris made it very clear that the Jerkop brainwashing only worked on "slow-in-the-minds", and others of lesser intelligence. It wasn't until Sonichu #9 where any mention was made of the idea of un-brainwashing the Jerkops, and even then, Chris makes it abundantly clear that his Electric Hedgehogs have managed to actually kill several of the otherwise completely innocent victims in their fights.

Whatever the previous method of un-brainwashing the Jerkops that Sonichu and company manage not to outright murder, it becomes a moot point in Sonichu #10, when Ultra Sonichu uses his nigh-omnipotence to supposedly cure all Jerkops everywhere forever.

2020 was the twelfth year since Chris's discovery, and the start of its second decade.

The Sonic movie was released in February, with Chris enjoying it despite his earlier grievances. President Pmurt lost his re-election bid to Joe Biden, whom Chris had endorsed (that is until he voted for Lisa Simpson). The coronavirus pandemic - which began in the last few days of 2019 - worsened significantly on a global scale, resulting in the cancellation of numerous events; among them was BABScon, which Chris had been eagerly awaiting. To cope with this, he began body-swapping with Sonichu in April, which continued for the rest of the year. Chris's gradual mental decline continued, digging himself deeper into his delusions of the Dimensional Merge. He also made contact with the Praetor gang of weens and gave several Discord Q&As.

January
January 2020

Chris started the new decade on a quiet note, with no videos uploaded. On Twitter, Chris made a plea for The End Games to unban him, which obviously wasn't successful. He eventually sent them a piece of mail containing a drawing, presumably an attempt to harass or intimidate them. At the end of the month, Chris was sued for debt yet again, this time by two creditors – Portfolio Recovery Associates and Jefferson Capital Systems.

February
February 2020

Chris turned 38 this month, saw the Sonic movie, and tried comforting an underage user on Twitter by recounting the time he saw Bob's dick; when he was reprimanded for this, Chris went on a massive screed about how the trolls ruined his life and made him hate sex. Other than this, not a whole lot else happened.

March
March 2020

On 13 March, the aforementioned coronavirus pandemic was declared a national emergency, which resulted in the cancellations of numerous social events and other things (including BABScon, which Chris would go onto Twitter to complain about). Other than that, the month in general became very slow for Chris and his followers.

April
April 2020

On April 15, Chris announced that he had swapped bodies with Sonichu, and role-played as such through the rest of the month. He also appeared in a livestream hosted by a ween.

May
May 2020
Chris continued to believe that he had swapped bodies with Sonichu, and as such role-played as him on Twitter. Chris also streamed Part 2 of the Analysis Anarchy Reaction Livestreams.

June
June 2020

Chris, still in the midst of his bodyswap, continued to spew out tweets. He watched the premiere of the derided Pony Life show and threatened to expose his trolls. He also streamed the third part of the Analysis Anarchy Reaction Livestreams.

July
July 2020
Now in the fourth month of his bodyswap, Chris urged his fans to attack his enemies by "doxing" their Twitter handles. He confronted Jacob Sockness for the first time in months, and made an sexually suggestive tweet to an young artist. Other than this, Chris shied away from public life as the pandemic continued to unravel.

August
August 2020
August saw several notable leaks, including a scrapped interview from 2017, a large number of images uploaded by Chris on Discord, and the full version of Tour of Chris's House III. Still in his bodyswap with Sonichu, Chris also created a videotaped will and answered several Q&As.

September
September 2020

The two debt cases from January wrapped up during September, leaving Chris with $3,678.92 more in debt. He also streamed the fourth part of the Analysis Anarchy Reaction Livestreams. Barb was featured in two videos, one of which is an video message directed to Cole Smithey. Chris also continued to answer Q&As on Discord.

October
October 2020
During October, a bodyswapped Chris released the cover for Sonichu 17, met a group of people known as Praetor, finished his TF2 Analysis reaction series, and was interviewed on The Create Unknown Podcast.

November
November 2020

Now in the sixth month of Chris’s bodyswap, his grasp on reality continued to deteriorate after claiming to have vote for Lisa Simpson during the 2020 presidential election of the U.S, instead of Joe Biden. However, Chris later welcomed Trump’s defeat.

Chris also continued to answer more questions from Discord and uploaded a video of himself reading a fanfiction.

December
Chris recorded voice clips for his Sonic World Sonichu mod, which contained content stolen from other modders without credit. This resulted in his submissions getting flagged, leading to Chris making a public apology. Other than this, Chris made a cryptic tweet announcing that the "The Merge is on.", presumably in reaction to BABSCon being yet again delayed; this time to 2022.

14 Branchland Court, Ruckersville, VA, often abbreviated to 14BC, and also currently known as Sonichu Headquarters and the Temple of CWC Sonichu – the last bastion of autism. This was the vile lair of Christian Weston Chandler, up until his arrest in 2021. Currently, it is inhabited by Christopher's ghost, Chris's mother Barbara, the surviving Chandler cats, and Chris's dog Clover. It was a white two-story house with dark red trimming (which faded to ivory and pink respectively) with three bedrooms on the outskirts of Ruckersville, although since its renovation has been repainted in beige with dark green shutters. The property is near the intersection of Branchland Court and Westwood Drive, facing northwest. The house is just past the local trailer park and nestled in a lower middle-class suburban community. It was built in 1977, and with no major work done from 1986 to 2014, the house shows its age with its tacky fake shutters and vinyl siding.

Chris and his family have notoriously spent decades constantly filling up the house with tons of garbage and junk, earning it the nickname of "The Hoard". In earlier pictures (those of Chris's twentieth birthday in 2002, for instance), the house seemed reasonably tidy; but, in his first video tour, Chris kept referring to the fact that "things got cluttered," suggesting that the house has only grown fuller and fuller ever since. "Clutter" is, of course, a grievous understatement; the entire house is packed with garbage, to the point where junk fills up entire rooms and reach within two feet of the ceiling (the living room was, for a while, basically inaccessible due to all the accumulated junk). Similarly, other rooms are full of junk, but rather than solid, impassable slabs of filth like in the living room, there are small crevices with chairs, TVs, and other furnishings.

Of the three Chandlers, Barb was the biggest hoarder, and one of the biggest obstacles to cleaning the place aside from the general laziness of the family. THAT IS MY HOUSE revealed that Chris's parents were aware of the alarming implications of the house's condition (with the junk being both a health hazard and a fire hazard), and feared that Chris's video tours could've elicited the attention of the Health Department of Greene County resulting in their home being condemned. In the wake of Bob making that remark, weens made several calls to the health department in hopes of spurring such a process into action, but their efforts proved fruitless, like most efforts to get the state to intervene in Chris's sorry life.

Chris claimed to have put forth some effort towards cleaning up the house in early 2010, but the "back-breaking" tasks he describes amount to simple maintenance, like vacuuming and scrubbing the floors. He talks about this as if he is making great progress in fixing the disaster area that is 14 Branchland Court, but his efforts seemed to amount to little more than preventing himself from slipping on cat shit on a regular basis. Barb apparently threatened to throw him out of the house if he were to attempt to dispose of some of her hoard of useless shit.

Chris also claimed that Bob used to use a computer, but Barbara bought an enormous amount of crap from Goodwill, blocking off the computer. Whether or not Barb did it to stop Bob from using the computer is unknown, but at any rate he did.

In a phone call to Rocky Shoemaker in 2011, it was revealed that 14 Branchland Court was infested and that the parasitic infestation caused Bob to be "covered in bug bites" before his death from heart disease.

On 10 January 2014, Chris reported that the house had sustained major structural damage from an early-morning house fire following an electrical shortage. Chris, Barb, the dogs, Lucy the cat, and other possessions made it out safely, and they spent about a year in a rental house – which they predictably completely trashed – before moving back to the renovated 14 Branchland Court in December 2014. Although Chris was temporarily detained in jail after his misadventure on the 26th, he was later released on bail and moved back into his house in January 2015.

The house was vacant between the time of Chris and Barb's separation after the incest fallout, and the first few weeks of the Jail Saga following Chris's arrest. A Kiwi Farms user confirmed that Barb returned to the house starting on, or at some point before, August 29th 2021. As of 2023, it appears that 14 Branchland Court is finally receiving at least some of the TLC it deserves, as recent fan visits have found the lawn being clipped and cleared of rubbish, and portions of the all-consuming hoard within having been extricated into bins to be disposed of, suggesting that someone has been paid to help Barb maintain the property.

Following the dismissal of Chris's case in August 2023, his car was spotted at 14 Branchland Court on 4 September 2023. Chris retrieved his possessions from the house, such as some commissioned artwork he never finished from two years ago. In April 2024, during a visit to 14 Branchland Court, Chris filmed himself collecting gravel from the front yard for selling on OfficialCWCmart.

History
Property tax assessment

14 Branchland Court was built in 1977 on a lot of 0.56 acres.

Chris's parents presumably purchased 14 Branchland Court at some point between their marriage on 7 June 1980 (at which point they were still living in the Richmond area) and Chris's birth 20 months later. A plaque which hangs above Chris's bed in some videos (notably All Star) indicates that his parents' nickname for the house was "Wes-Chandler-Ton Manor".

Chris lived at 14 Branchland Court from his birth on 24 February 1982 until his family moved to the Richmond area in 1993 in order to escape the Greene County Public School system's attempts to pull him out of mainstream schools. Initially, Chris and his father lived in the Richmond suburbs while his mother held the fort in Ruckersville so she could continue working for the local electric power authority until retirement. Barbara joined them after retiring a few years later.

The Chandlers moved back to the Ruckersville house in 2000 after Chris graduated high school. In a video released in May 2010, Chris claims that his family tried and failed to sell the house at some point, and would have stayed in the Richmond suburbs if they had been able to find a buyer. Chris naturally attributes the house's failure to sell to a conspiracy between local realtors and the Greene County school system, but as this article explains, it probably went unsold for more practical reasons.

The original number of the house was 46 Branchland Court - this is the number given in A Week With Christian Chandler (2000) and Cole Smithey's 1994 postcard to Barbara. It was changed to 14 sometime after 2000.

In two videos uploaded on 27 March 2009, Chris provided a tour of his house and the property that it's on. Like his own room, Chris's entire house is a disaster area. Several rooms are so cluttered that Chris cannot enter them.

What follows is a brief description of the rooms and other areas of 14 Branchland Court circa 2009.
Ground Floor
The north corner is what Chris describes as the music room (probably where Bob kept his extensive music collection), which was primarily the domain of Barbara, who frequently slept there. A small bathroom is directly in front of the stairs leading up to the front door. On the other end of a short hallway is the utility room, in which the family kept a refrigerator in addition to the usual washer and dryer. The family room (possibly in the west corner) had been claimed by Bob, who apparently slept there as well. If Chris's parents ever had, or used, dedicated bedrooms in the house, then they were never filmed.

Chris's bedroom is in the north corner of the second floor. Across the hallway, near the east corner, is a filthy bathroom, which apparently has not been cleaned in years, as implied by the layers of dark brown/green mold growing in the shower and the peeling of the veneer on the cabinetry. The kitchen and dining area are apparently near the southern corner and southwestern wall. The computer Chris used for Internet access at the time was in this part of the house, as was a Christmas tree left up year-round. Tellingly, Chris has actually photographed himself with Officer Nasty and dildos in the kitchen, and has even mass debated here over a webcam feed. This implies that Chris's parents never actually went upstairs, leaving Chris free to do whatever he wanted undisturbed (well, mostly undisturbed). The living room, filled with garbage to the point of uselessness, is across the stairway from Chris's room. It is likely the same as Chris's current work room used for storing toys and shooting videos.
Second House Tour
Tour of Chris's House II

In 2013, a video was leaked by Alec Benson Leary showing the state of Chris's home since the last tour he gave in 2009. Needless to say, especially in light of eyewitness reports of his front yard in 2012, the house became even more of a mess in the following years. Whereas Chris had at least some room to maneuver in the 2009 Tour Video, here, the passageways have become so narrow and jam-packed that even he complains about all of the clutter being in his way and begins sounding increasingly annoyed as he attempts to navigate the claustrophobic environment. The kitchen, in particular, has become an unsightly mess--the Chandlers apparently couldn't be half-assed to put away their groceries, so it's strewn all over the place. The living room, already an ocean of rubbish, has gotten worse, with the accumulated clutter now towering over Chris to the point where he has to stretch to get footage of it. The bathroom hasn't been cleaned since the last video Chris released of him cleaning it - and he even admits so himself in the video.

Even the stairs of his home have become cluttered with nonsense such as Christmas ornaments, boxes, and bags, which could spell disaster if Chris or his mother have to evacuate the premises. Also notable is the fact that every so often, Chris can be observed picking up random pieces of garbage from the floor as well.

In typical Chris-Chan fashion, he describes his room as "the cleanest of the whole house", despite it having unsightly masses of clothes everywhere and even an unmade bed that he couldn't be bothered to at least straighten up before making this ill-advised video.

When he steps outside, he basically confirms what trolls have documented as early as 2012: that his lawn is completely overgrown to the point where it has utterly consumed one of the structures in his yard. Also unsurprising is the fact that after Bob's death, the garden shed has been completely abandoned.

Given his commentary, it almost seemed like Chris acknowledges that he has kept his home in a very unacceptable condition....right until he blames his parents for being "hoarders" and totally shifting blame away from himself, despite being the "man" of the house.

By this time, the bug infestation appears to have been gotten rid of, or at least contained. It was stated before that the infestation was so bad that Chris was confined to his room in order to avoid getting bitten, but in this video, no bugs are seen and Chris makes no mention of them.

2014 house fire
2014 house fire

On 10 January 2014, a fire broke out at the Chandler household. According to Chris, this was caused by a worn extension cord plugged into a coffee machine, which sparked and started the blaze. Chris, his mother, the beagles, and Lucy (one of the cats) made it out safely, surprising when you consider how much clutter was obstructing the stairways. The firefighters could not effectively navigate the house through either door and were forced to enter through the windows. Sadly, one of the cats (revealed to be Scamper by Chris in February 2016) perished in the fire from smoke inhalation and was later buried in the backyard.

The Chandlers escaped with little more than the clothes on their backs. Chris wrote that he was able to take his wallet, medication for his mother, some clothes, and his iPhone. The day after the fire, he and his mother were allowed to reenter the structure, and he learned to his relief that many of his personal possessions, including his games, his computers, and his artwork, had survived. His Lego high school survived, albeit partially melted. Chris was also observed on Miiverse shortly after the fire, suggesting that he managed to save his Nintendo 3DS or Wii U at some point. However, it can be assumed that much of the hoard suffered fire, smoke, and/or water damage.

As completely tragic as this incident was, it did not come as much of a surprise, given Barbara's hoarding and Chris's unwillingness or inability to control his mother's compulsions or properly clean. As pointed out by quite a few concerned people, the house had always been a health and safety hazard, and it was only a matter of time before disaster struck. Sadly, Chris was unable or unwilling to act on this well-meaning advice, and, as a result, reaped what he and his family had sown.

Chris and his mother stayed at a rental house in nearby Barboursville for most of 2014 as repairs to 14 Branchland Court were made. They also rented a storage locker. To the shock of absolutely no one, Chris and Barb managed to trash that house up as well; photos taken by Chris showed rodent shit on the house's carpeting, and eyewitness reports showed that the conditions in the rental house were basically the same as they were at 14 Branchland Court. Trolls reported in April 2015 that the house was still vacant four months after Chris and Barb moved out.

For reasons which are not entirely clear, the renovation of the house took much longer than anticipated. Nevertheless, the worst fears, that the house would be condemned or the renovations would not be finished, were unrealized. In December 2014 and January 2015, the Chandlers moved back in.

Post-fire renovation
On the 6th of December, 2014, Chris announced on Facebook that his home had finally been repaired, and he would be moving back in near the start of the new year. Ever a busy man, Chris managed to fit a run-in with the law on Boxing Day, followed by two days in jail into his moving schedule. Once he was released on bond on 29 December, Chris was shortly back to complaining about having a "Charlie Horse [sic]" from moving his mother's hoard back to the house.

After Chris's second hearing in April started and finished half an hour early, and they failed to make it in, the Christorians who took it upon themselves to attend decided to make the most of their visit and go on a tour of the major places in Chris' life, including 14 Branchland Court. The photographs they took showed that the Chandler headquarters had been modernized, and no longer looked like total shit. This is partially due to the modernized exterior, and partially due to most of the hoard still being in storage. Photographs also showed some sort of outhouse in the backyard raised off the ground, and soon to be full of the hoard.

Other notable changes:

*The kitchen became accessible and could once again be used for cooking. Chris used it to store his semen.
*Chris's bedroom moved to the first floor, his former room being used for storage.
*The downstairs living room, formerly full of Barb's hoard, became Chris's toy-filled workroom.

Return of the hoard
In the few years after having the house rebuilt, the Chandlers' negligence and hoarding slowly turned it back to its filthy, cluttered past, proving, like mother like son, Barb is just as incapable of learning from her mistakes as Chris. Ironically, the Garden, which in the years before the fire had become increasingly bereft of plants, was just about the only part of the property which thrived as of 2020, having become overgrown and unkempt with weeds, wildflowers, and plants encroaching from neighboring properties.
</gallery></center>

In October 2017, one of the bathrooms had a clogged shower drain, possibly stuffed up with Chris's seaweed hair. His solution was to pour Liquid Plumr into it and whine that every house should have two bathtubs.
Third House Tour
Tour of Chris's House III

Chris filmed the third tour during March 2018. While his house is shown being very slightly less messy than it normally is, even that's being ridiculously charitable. Chris's room is packed to the rafters with all sorts of clothes and Rubbermaid bins, though it is semi-accessible, and shockingly, so are the oven and kitchen sink. Overall, he is shown having less of a struggle walking through his house, but there is still plenty of junk accumulating over the tables, hallways, kitchen, and shelves.

Mortgage
The Chandler family has assumed two mortgages on 14 Branchland Court. The first was fully paid sometime before February 2009, when Chris attested his house had no mortgage against it. The second mortgage on the property was filed in April 2009 for $130,000, held at first by SunTrust Bank but since transferred to Seterus, now operating as Mr. Cooper.
Among the Chandlers' various debts, the mortgage is the primary cause of the Financhu Crisis: acute circumstances relating to it have caused Chris to resort to begging many times. As for the reason why the Chandlers took on said mortgage can be summed up to paying off Barb's credit card debt; a bad move. On one occasion, he pleaded idly with his TRUE and LOYAL fanbase to pay the entire mortgage at once for him. Moreover, the Chandlers have repeatedly neglected their monthly payments. When the Idea Guys had threatened to destroy CWCville and his eBay sales were not enough to meet their $6,000 ransom, Chris withheld a mortgage payment to save his fictional setting.

Chris's closest flirt with financial ruin occurred on 8 May 2018, when he announced that the home could be foreclosed upon if they failed to make two mortgage payments the next day; fans donated enough to prevent this. Onlookers speculate, given Chris's financial habits and Barb's other debts, that after she passes away, that the estate could well be liquidated after her passing, or that Chris may struggle to keep up mortgage payments in the face of so many tempting distractions.

Chris claimed in a jail letter that the "Sonichu Temple" now had a mortgage of less than $90,000 (assuming he has mastered the distinction between the greater than and less than symbols), and begged for donations to Barb to help pay this.

Although the Chandlers have mostly kept to themselves over the years, they have had some notable interactions with their neighbors:

*The abusive babysitter was a neighbor of the Chandlers in 1983, living on Westwood Drive, Ruckersville.

*Sarah Nicole Hammer was one of Chris's neighbors when they were children.

*In the aftermath of the 2014 house fire, a neighbor allowed Chris and Barb to stay with them temporarily.

*Barb once tried to steal a neighbor's dog which had slipped out of its collar but was forced to return it when the neighbor showed up at their door.

*At some point in 2014, a deeply paranoid Chris told of a feud with a preteen neighbor whom he had suspected of stealing his old homework and passing it in for credit. According to Chris, the Chandlers (Barb and Chris) contacted Animal Control on the neighbor's cat and had it put to sleep, after it had scratched Chris. Chris claims the neighbor retaliated by training a snake to invade 14 Branchland Court, egging the house and stealing some items.

*In 2015, Chris uploaded A few kicks, a video of him kicking a soccer ball around in his yard. At one point, the ball enters the road and Chris gives chase. He abruptly stops once the ball enters a neighbor's driveway, possibly meaning that he had been told not to go on that property without permission.

*In 2017, one of Chris's cats, Sorbet, was injured while outside and ended up under a neighbor's gutter.

*On 25 January 2019, Chris tweeted how a neighbor angrily yelled at Chris for making his child question their gender identity.

*On 15 July 2021, one of Chris's neighbors helped him bury his dog Snoopy.
Visiting
Fan visits

When occupied by the Chandlers, visits to 14 Branchland Court, at least until Chris inherits the house and trades the deed to it for magic beans, are ill-advised. Harassing the Chandlers at their house is not only the paragon of ween behavior, it is also a criminal offense and will probably result in you getting arrested. Chris and especially Barb shouldn't have to contend with the troll horde within the sanctum of their own home. We shouldn't have to be saying it at this point, but do not visit 14 Branchland Court to troll Chris or Barb.

Unless, of course, you are personally invited. To date, Chris has extended personalized invitations to Clyde Cash, the Magical Man, Liquid Chris, the staff of Asperpedia, Catherine and pretty much anybody that has ever thought ill of Chris to come to his house, so that he might murder them. To date, none of them except Magical Man has taken him up on his offer. The scenario of such a meeting would likely be reminiscent of the hooker incident, wherein the police would be promptly summoned whilst Chris hides, crying, behind his mother.

Despite this, some fans have made the trip out to visit Chris at his home and have posed for photos with him, showing that Chris had lightened up on his stance.

In 2021, after Chris was jailed for incest, some weens made the pilgrimage to harass Barb for information about Chris, leaving empty-handed.
That said, it bears repeating: do NOT visit 14 Branchland Court to harass Barb, as you are likely causing undue stress on an ailing woman who had an incestuous affair with her own son.

Chris and his address
Giving away one's home address on the Internet is generally considered unwise. Chris has probably never realized this, or perhaps he realizes that trolls have so thoroughly and permanently violated his privacy that attempting to preserve it is a lost cause. In any case, he has publicly announced his home address on a number of occasions, in YouTube videos and elsewhere.

* Shortly after 21 July 2009, when CChanSonichuCWC released a video promoting his Sonichu merchandise, Chris posted his address in a YouTube comment in hopes of a physical confrontation with the "impostor".
* On 14 August 2009, in the video "NO D*** WAY, IMPOSTOR!!!", Chris rattled off his address as a way of attempting to prove his identity.
* He did the same thing in his CWC Public Disclaimer, also released on 14 August 2009.
* On 23 November 2009, in the Sonichu Presentation, Chris provided his address (as well as his home and mobile phone numbers) in hopes of attracting investment in his comic book characters.
* On 15 January 2010, Chris released a video where he summoned the creators of the Asperpedia to his home address for a confrontation.
* On 27 August 2010, Chris gave out his address and phone number in a YouTube video seeking to organize a high school reunion. In the same video, he warned viewers to be careful with their personal information on the Internet, taking his anti-grasp of irony to incredible new levels.
* Chris has published his address on his websites at various times. It was available at the bottom of the main page on the CWCipedia for most of the time Chris used the site.
* On 29 January 2016, Chris proved he hasn't learned a thing over the years when, in a video intended to dissuade well-meaning fans from sending mail to famous YouTuber PewDiePie (aka Felix Kjellberg) at his address, he felt the need to specify 14 Branchland Court as the address at which Kjellberg does not live.
* On 20 April 2019, Chris listed his address and phone number as part of the Google My Business program under the name "Sonichu Headquarters." He also expressed interest in making his house a Pokéstop.
When he and Barb stayed at the rental house, it didn't take long for him to drop that house's address.

When Chris writes out his full home address, he has a tendency to write his nine-digit ZIP+4 number (22968-9545) instead of just his five-digit ZIP Code. This is rarely done for home addresses as it is considered unnecessary.

The Fate of 14 BC
It goes without saying the house will be foreclosed once Barb passes away. What will become of it afterward remains uncertain. Because Chris no longer resides there, it is unlikely he'll be moving back in given his bad financial record, in addition to his tugboat being insufficient to cover upkeep, let alone mortgage. As for the property itself, it's possible the house will either be condemned and subsequently demolished by the Virginia Health Department, sold to a family looking for a place to live (provided the property is up to standards), a fan looking to preserve the property, or by weens trying to outbid one another in order to convert it into a temple/museum for all things Chris and Sonichu related.

2024 is the sixteenth year since Chris's discovery. This will be Chris's first full year not spent in jail since 2020, assuming he keeps his nose clean.

This year marks the first time in Chris's life that he has traveled outside the United States, having traveled to Finland in late September 2024.

2024 will also mark the U.S. presidential election, with Pmurt and Kamala Harris going up against each other; Chris has shown open support for the latter. Chris is eligible to vote, because his incest case was dropped by the autism disorder deferred disposition.

January
January 2024
Chris attended his first post-jail convention, Animate! Raleigh, and, unsurprisingly, was kicked out. Chris would also be interviewed by Keffals.

Chris's internet activity slowed down a considerable amount compared to previous months since his online return. Chris also did not stream this month, which he had done at least once per month the previous six months. Chris would make his first video at 14 Branchland Court since July 2021 to promote the fake rocks on his Etsy store. It was later revealed that he had flown to Finland alongside Flutter this month, the first time he's traveled outside the United States.
Chris flew on an airplane for the first time in 35 years as he was spotted at a Dallas Airport terminal. Chris's online activity this month consisted of a single video and complaining about being photographed in public despite his continued refusal to dress normally. CCTV cameras were used at Chris's house to discourage weens from visiting.
June
June 2024

The start of summer was marked by a lengthy period of social invisibility, making this Chris' quietest month since April. After issuing threats of legal action against anyone who recorded or photographed him unaware, he went without being sighted for almost the full length of June, being seen only once at the end of the month alongside Flutter - the first time the two had been seen together since March. He would return to streaming himself playing videogames for the first time since mid-February, but aside from advertising what would be his only video in June his online presence and social media activity likewise diminished; the most outstanding development otherwise was a post made to Twitter on the 15th, a rambling address that attributed his lack of activity to 'soul searching'.

July
July 2024

July would commence with a brace of sightings a week apart, with Chris and Flutter being seen shopping at Walmart stores in Lynchburg. They would be seen once again on the road a few days after the second sighting, seemingly moving towards Charlottesville. Chris's social media activity was very sporadic with most of his few Twitter posts being made mid-July, and the month came and went without a stream.

August
August 2024

Chris was sighted on three separate occasions across August, in both Roanoke and Lynchburg; Flutter accompanied him in two of these sightings. On the 14th of August, he crossed the 100,000 subscriber milestone on his Youtube channel, taking to Twitter to celebrate. On the 31st, he also uploaded a video - his first in two months - commemorating this achievement upon receiving his silver Play Button. Bodycam footage of his encounter with Henrico County police three years prior was also uploaded to Youtube on the 17th, providing the clearest picture yet of the circumstances of his arrest.

September
September 2024

Chris launched a new website for selling items and posting blogs, Cwclight, with the help of Praetor. He was spotted at Walmart in Lynchburg again, and - more surprisingly - was seen with Flutter in Helsinki, Finland.
On 11 March, a Kiwi Farms user held an interview with Praetor. They revealed a lot of alleged information on Chris, although they do not provide much proof. Praetor most notably stated that Chris would be back soon, with plans "stranger than anybody could guess". On 27 March 2023, Chris was out of custody, though the reason is unclear - VineLink reported initially that he was "bonded out" which was later changed to "released by court order".
From 1-3 May, Chris was spotted shopping at a Walmart in Midlothian, a suburb of Richmond, Battlegrounds (a card game shop), and Chesterfield Towne Center, a mall in nearby Midlothian and Richmond. Towards the end of the month, he was spotted at Earthbond Trading Company and Modern Table Top Gaming, with a Reddit user at the former describing Chris as reeking of 'pure shit'. Halfway through the month, he dyed his hair a bright teal, and started looking like an old grandma. Notably, it was revealed that Chris had begun signing his name as 'J. Chris's only public sighting this month was at a Ben and Jerry's in Williamsburg Premium Outlets with two women; and only after Chris complimented on a Reddit user's dog. This month started off with old footage from Chris Chan Vs. The Internet being leaked. Chris was spotted at Wal-mart looking at Sonic-branded G-Fuel drinks as well as Dragon Fire Games located over 100 miles west of Chesterfield County, the furthest Chris has reportedly traveled since his release. Otaku King spotted Chris at Walmart and had a conversation with him, and began white-knighting for Chris soon after. Chris slowly began returning to the internet, starting with playing Pokemon GO and games on his PlayStation, notably changing his PSN description on the latter. He then began liking tweets on Twitter, some even addressing his return. His activity peaked when he uploaded a series of artworks to DeviantART, including ones about his return and belief that he's Jesus Christ reincarnated. Other art included pages for Sonichu 15, which has been renamed to Sonichu 0 HD. His review also took place, with his incest case file being updated to state that the charge has been "Dismissed".. Chris started the month by sending a DM to Helena Fiorenza, announcing that he will return to the internet, and thanking Cr1TiKaL for making his own brand of G-Fuel. The following day, Chris's car was spotted at 14 Branchland Court. He spent the rest of his month being spotted with a mysterious young-looking blonde woman in various locations. On the 20th, Chris was spotted allegedly hugging and kissing the woman, in a series of blurry photos. Otaku King claimed that the two of them are a couple, and that Chris is "at home safe" and "getting the right help needed"
The month started off uneventful, with very little activity. However, on the 16th, Chris finally uploaded a new video, Jesus Christ Chan Sonichu Prime Resurrected and Returned, where he sings horribly with green screened versions of him dancing, along with a brief message announcing his return. On the same day, he tweeted, announcing the 'second coming'. OfficialCWCmart was updated, with new art and photos of Chris, along with messages announcing his return, which Chris links in the description of his new videos. He then uploaded Setting the Record straight - there never was any sex involving me in 2021, where he denies ever having sex with Barbara, and claims that he was framed by Isabella Loretta Janke. He gets mad at trolls who joked about Chris dating Barb, stating that it was their fault this all happened. He also reveals information about the blonde girl he had been spotted with recently. On the 18th, Chris started posting frequently on Twitter, and continued to upload videos.
Chris makes numerous posts on Twitter including one where he ironically advocates for sex predators to be allowed in social gatherings/events. On 20 December Chris was filmed picking up Flutter at Richmond International Airport and was spotted later the same day at a Sheetz with Flutter. On 21 December Chris was spotted with Flutter while eating dinner at Isabella's Italian Trattoria Restaurant in Lynchburg, VA. On 25 December Chris celebrated his first Christmas out of jail and posted a photo of his Christmas tree on Twitter.

2022 was the fourteenth year since Chris's discovery. Chris's activity during this year was rather scarce, due to his arrest and upcoming court proceedings on incest charges, and the eventual sealing of his case due to relentless pestering from the Unholy Quintet. Chris spent the entirety of 2022 in jail, marking a full year of him being incarcerated. He released some jail drawings.

Chris spent his 40th birthday in jail and missed out on BABSCon in April. In July, Chris's case was to be sent to a Grand Jury as the charge was upgraded to a felony.

January
January 2022
Chris sent a few letters to Kengle and other fans. He also made some phone calls, including warning the world about global warming and asking for money to be given to Barb.

February
February 2022
Chris's hearing was scheduled for 3 February, but was pushed back by a third continuance, again, for unknown reasons. Chris turned 40. The month ended with Chris being transferred to Western State Hospital due to being incompetent to stand trial.

March
March 2022

March 2022 was one of the quietest months of Christory in over a decade. For the entire month, absolutely nothing was heard from Chris, due to his transfer. The closest thing to actual news was a returned letter from Spamton, which revealed that no future letters sent to jail would be forwarded to Chris. However, some holdover letters from January did arrive near the beginning of the month, and The Gamer From Mars' documentary The Chris Chan Conspiracy premiered its first two episodes.

April
April 2022
BABSCon finally took place after a two-year-long delay from the ongoing pandemic; Chris could not attend, as he was incommunicado in Western State Hospital.

May
May 2022
Chris was sent back to CVRJ on 3 May with a new mugshot taken upon his return, where he's seen looking somewhat shaken by his experience during the transfer.

June
June 2022
Chris drew several drawings and sent some letters. Another continuance was issued for his case.

July
July 2022
On 28 July, a hearing on the incest charge took place, and it was decided to present the case to a Grand Jury, implying the charge is being prosecuted as a felony. This occurred only one day away from the first year anniversary of the Incest Call leak and four days from his arrest.

August
August 2022

Chris's case was scheduled to be heard by a Grand Jury on 8 August for a potential felony incest charge. A continuance occurred for a motion hearing on 9 August regarding an autism disorder deferred disposition. Further, court records were sealed. Chris would remain in jail throughout the month, releasing more jail art toward the end of August but otherwise being strangely silent. Also, an incident involving Keffals lead to Kiwi Farms being temporarily taken down from the internet, and the CWCki went down as well due to sharing the same host, 1776 Hosting, at the time.

September
September 2022

Nothing happened this month, as Chris suddenly stopped sending letters and the CWCki was down throughout. Chris drew some artworks.

October
October 2022

New pictures and footage of 14 Branchland Court emerge. This month also saw the return of the CWCki after a while of downtime, now on a new host.

November
November 2022
3 November was the 15-year anniversary of Chris's Encyclopedia Dramatica page.

December
December 2022
Much like September, nothing happened this month aside from a handful of Jail Arts being released on Etsy.
