He began drawing his character with big, shiny animu eyes around this time, as well as creating the character of [[Sailor Megtune]], which is nothing more than Megan dressed in [[Wikipedia:Japanese_school uniform#Sailor outfit|sailor fuku]]. [[Crystal_Weston_Chandler_(sister)|Crystal]] also wears a sailor fuku in her transformed state.

Additionally, around [[Sonichu 4|''Sonichu'' #4]], Chris starts referring to himself as the "Warrior of Love and Honesty", much in the vein of Sailor Moon's own post-transformation speech, which he also rips off with the line "I will punish you!"

Chris's transformation into [[Chris-chan Sonichu]] also is "Sailor-Moon Style"<ref>[[The Sonichu Chronicles]]</ref>, in that they focus on individual aspects of the transformation itself, and usually require an item. This was not lost upon the [[Vivian|creators]] of the [[Audiobooks|audiobooks]], in which the ''Sailor Moon'' theme served as the background music to the transformation scenes.

[[Wes Iseli|Wes-Li]] attacks with a "flame sniper"; [[Wikipedia:Sailor Mars|Sailor Mars]] has the same attack with the exact same name.

Chris believes that staring nightly at [[Sailor Moon Poster of Fail|a poster]] featuring Sailor Moon and Chibiusa will banish [[homos|homosexual]] urges<ref>[[Captain's Log, Stardate February 6th, 2009]]</ref>, but the whole premise of Chris enjoying ''Sailor Moon'' is highly ironic considering the show is renowned for having many [[Bionic the Hedgehog|gay]], [[Megagi La Skunk|lesbian]], bisexual, and [[Silvana|transsexual]] characters. Just wondering, can anyone find a decent image of the poster he looks at to help him stay straight? I think the poster is worthy of an article, but it really needs the picture to make it work. I tried looking for it before, but googling "sailor moon poster" just gives you every other Sailor Moon poster in the world, along with a bunch of fan art of Sailor Moon characters being fat or getting raped by Goku. I'd keep trying, except looking at all this Sailor Moon crap has ironically turned me gay. Of course, if all else fails, I guess we can just ask Chris to scan his copy for us. Would it be so outrageous as to suggest that we just merge all the anime articles into one? There's not enough material for some of them to be anything but stubs.

*There's a LOT of ways we can go with this article. Chris has taking generous liberties to ripping off Sailor Moon. Alrighty then, on a second look, there is ''much'' more material to fill this article with than I first guessed, so I redact my suggestion... good thing I'm a weaboo with a pair of eyes! (but not a Sailor Moon fan, I'm of the kind who likes watching robots punch each other) ... but from what I can think of offhand, he does refer to himself (in-comic) as a 'soldier of Love and Honesty' several times, even saying something like "in the name of [x] I will punish you!" ... and in these pages I just found, he manages to rip off Cutey Honey (original inspiration for programs like Sailor Moon, and has more violence to boot) AND Sailor Moon at the same time:

I know Crystalina Rosechu also wears a sailor moon outfit, and not just Sailor Megtune. ...and the transformation sequences are more Sailor Moon than DBZ ...DBZ just does the yell loudly and boom flash whiz bang you're transformed! thing, wheras Chris focuses on each individual element of a transformation a la Sailor Moon.
