It is often questioned whether the incest was consensual or not. The following list contains many common points of argument for both sides but also a counterargument for each and every one.

Speculation for the affair being nonconsensual is as follows:

Speculation for the affair being consensual are as follows:

* Chris and Barbara's relationship is infamously creepy and way too close for comfort; this is the main source of people believing the affair was consensual and for good reason. Barb would often yell at Chris if he didn't share a bed with her, and Chris has admitted numerous times that he spoons with her (after Bob's death). They were also often seen talking to each other and even holding each other as if they were husband and wife for a long time before the affair began. In the end, we will perhaps never honestly know; Barb is apparently not willing to comment or give any further details (and thankfully, nobody has pressed her on such), and Chris is currently shifting the blame on a [[Shattered Glass Universe|supposed counterpart from another dimension]]. Chris goes on to write that the healing he performed on his mother was similarly done by him on other individuals during his previous life as Jesus Christ, though the details of said healings were omitted from the Bible. Chris then goes on to inform the letter's recipient that "We Gods had eased up on the views of "Adultry" [sic]; WHY Else do you all have Pro-Gay, and Pro-Lesbian, Pro-Trans, and all Today and the past Decades?" While the word "adultery" is typically used to refer to marital infidelity, it appears that in this letter, it is intended to mean all acts that go against traditional sexual morality (i.e., what Christians have usually called "fornication"). By grouping the "healing" of Barbara in the same category as intimate relations between members of the same sex, Chris strongly implies that the "healing" of Barbara likewise included romantic and sexual acts. Chris's defense of the "healing" on the counts that all those who were involved in it were both willing and above the legal age of consent further enhances the impression that it was at least partially sexual in nature.

While the 19 September letter was just a few baby steps away from being an explicit admission of incest, it did not take long for Chris to become more coy as to whether or not incest between himself and Barb had occurred. In a [[Jail Call - 1 November 2021|1 November 2021 telephone call]], Chris fails to either explicitly deny or acknowledge that he and Barb had sex. The same ambiguousness regarding the truthfulness of the charges against him can be seen in a letter written on [[Jail Letter - 16 November 2021|16 November 2021]].

At some point, Chris changed his side of the story and began to outright deny that there was ever any sexual intimacy between him and his mother. Regarding public evidence, Chris first explicitly denied the charges against him in the [[Jail Letter - 11 May 2022|11 May 2022 jail letter]]. In the same letter, Chris alleges that in [[May 2012]], Barbara made sexual advances towards him after he revealed to her that he had paid a prostitute a month beforehand. He goes on to write that after the death of Bob, Barb came to see Chris as a husband-like figure. Further denials that Chris ever had sexual relations with Barb appear in jail letters written on [[Jail Letter - 1 June 2022|1 June]] and [[Jail Letter - 4 June 2022|4 June 2022]]. Chris does acknowledge that prior to his arrest, he told others that he had sex with Barb, but by now, he claims that those admissions were false. Chris's comments on the affair after his return are convoluted and involve memory transfer and alternate [[dimensions]]. In Chris's livestreams he claims that he did not have sex with Barb but accessed memories from [[Dimensions#Shattered_Glass_Dimension|the Shattered Glass Dimension]] where his self-counterpart did have sex with Barb, implying he remembers having sex with Barb. Following allegations in late [[July 2021]] and the eventual confirmation that [[Christian Weston Chandler|Chris]] had committed [[Affair with Mother|incest with]] [[Barb]], hundreds of people contacted the Greene County police, and authorities conducted a welfare check on the Chandler home, issuing an Emergency Protective Order on Chris the following day (essentially a temporary week-long restraining order). Chris was made temporarily homeless and stayed at the Richmond Regency Inn in the meantime. Chris was '''arrested on 1 [[August 2021]]''', outside of the Inn. The arrest was captured live on stream by [[Ethan Ralph|several onlookers]]. Surprisingly, despite Chris's past history with [[Chris and the law|the law]], he made no attempt to resist arrest and was cooperative with the police.

From 2 August 2021 until his release on 27 March 2023, Chris had been an inmate at [[Central Virginia Regional Jail]] (save for a brief stint at [[Western State Hospital]]) while awaiting legal proceedings for the charge of incest. The Greene County Sheriff's office had claimed pending charges yet to be identified were also being considered<ref name="press release"/> but no further charges have emerged as of March 2023. In July 2022, the last hearing within the J&DR court's jurisdiction occurred and the case was elevated to the circuit court, where it was sent to a Grand Jury for a potential felony charge.

In August 2022, the Grand Jury hearing was postponed with a continuance. A motion by [[David Heilberg|Chris's lawyer]] for an autism disorder deferred disposition was filed, to be considered by the court. Shortly after, Chris's case was sealed, though bits of information still emerged. By 11 August, the case file was updated to note that "waive right to indictment" and "transportation order" were added and that a review of Chris's case is scheduled for [[August 2023]].

In [[January 2023]], another review was scheduled to take place on 27 January; this resulted in a continuance to 14 [[February 2023]] (Valentine's Day), which was later rescheduled to 13 February. This resulted in a continuance to 7 [[March 2023]], which subsequently resulted in another continuance.

On 31 July, Null, who had access to Chris's email (with Chris's permission) since the [[Guard Dogs]] Saga,<ref name="marvinqna">[[Kiwi Farms posts (Marvin)#Marvin answers questions regarding OPERATION: Kingsnake]]</ref><ref>[[OPERATION: Kingsnake]]</ref> found that Chris had received $750.00 from Barb's bank account, meaning he had either contacted Barb or gained access to Barb's bank account himself, either of which would violate the emergency protection order. When confronted, Chris initially denied the accusation, claiming he had "managed to find blessings in the minimum abundance needed." However, upon further questioning Chris about the money, he confirmed that he had had access to Barb's account for some time, contrary to Null's previous assumption that Barb had been in control of Chris's finances and not vice versa. On the 1st of [[August 2021]], Chris would get arrested outside of his motel, livestreamed by [[Ethan Ralph]] and his crew, who had been trying to find him for hours. Chris was shockingly calm during the arrest, possibly due to [[The WCT]] [[WCT_DMs#Discussing_the_incest_fallout|telling him to not resist an arrest]] just yesterday

In the middle of the arrest, he starts shouting non-sensical statements about the [[Dimensional Merge]], stating that it was happening [[Post-Merge Era|right now]], in a clear attempt of [[Chris and coping|coping]] with the situation he's in. After handcuffing him, the officers put Chris in their cop car, driving away to jail.

Many observers predicted Chris would not take to an extended jail stay well. However, on August 5, the jail's Captain Hoffman told news, "I've had an interaction with inmate Chandler and it's been fine. Everything is okay."<ref name=InsiderGender/> This surprising revelation could be explained by a [[Jail Letter - 8 November 2021 (Stories from the Penitentiary)|letter]] Chris sent from jail in early November, which strongly implies that he has been placed in some form of protective custody to ensure his safety. On 4 August 2021, Kenneth Sneathern, a judge from Greene County's General District Court, assigned [[David Heilberg]] to represent Chris, and also transferred the case to Greene's J&DR (Juvenile and Domestic Relations) court for bond.

On 5 August 2021, Chris appeared before Greene County's J&DR court for the beginning of his arraignment, represented by Charlottesville public defender David Heilberg.<ref name=initial_trial/>

Edwin Consolvo, the attorney representing [[Greene County]], asked presiding judge David M. Barredo to deny Chris bond out of concern for "the community's safety and Ms. Chandler's safety," pointing out that "it’s clear that people sought out where Chandler was staying at a hotel in Henrico and videotaped her arrest." Chris interrupted by loudly saying, "[[Chris and his ego|I'm famous on the internet]]," to which Heilberg advised him not to speak unless spoken to by the court.

Chris was sworn in to state his case for bond, but instead demanded to be allowed to pick up personal possessions first, saying he would be "willing to proceed with everything if I can get that done."

Judge Barredo pointed out that bond considerations involve whether a defendant is a flight risk and whether the defendant is a danger to himself, his family, or community. Chris interrupted to say, "she", in reference to his [[transgender]] identity; Barredo responded he was reciting from the state statute.

Barredo ordered Chris to be held without bond until the preliminary trial on 16 September, listing as reasons the nature of the allegations against Chris and that there appears to be a personal danger to Chris and the public at large. He would also continue to double down on [[Chris and reality|his delusions]], threaten any weens to not steal things from his house, beg for money for both himself and Barbara, and demand his release from jail. In [[Jail Letter - 3 October 2021|one of these letters]] Chris rejects a fan's attempt to convert him to Islam. As with his previous replies, he draws offensive comparisons between himself and Allah, and rants more about the [[Dimensional Merge]].

Chris has also called several people while in jail using the inmate telephone service, although, what Chris says in these calls is not much different from what can be found inside the letters. However, [[Jail Call - 11 January 2022|in one of the calls]], Chris states that he has attempted to call Barbara multiple times, only to receive no answer from her.

Someone claiming to work for an EMS later private messaged the CWCki Jerkop [[User:Larry the Larryhog|Larry the Larryhog]] about Chris's record.<ref>[[Kiwi Farms posts (other users)#EMS Claim]]</ref> They claimed that Chris was transferred via ambulance with a law enforcement escort and that Chris was able to receive narcotic sedative when needed (though the claims are yet to be verified). Chris was transferred back to the Central Virginia Regional Jail on 3 [[May 2022]]. A mugshot that was taken after the transfer, the first photo of him since [[August 2021]], shows Chris noticeably thinner, with longer hair, more sunken-in eyes, and looking much more gaunt and less enthusiastic than he did previously. This was apparently due to a [[Nathanael Greene Elementary School|pin-me-down]] event occurring the day before while at [[Western State Hospital]].<ref name=1jun></ref>

Notably, in [[Jail Letter - 11 May 2022]], Chris began denying he had ever engaged in any sexual affairs with Barb (despite previously stating he had in the [[Incest Call]] and [[Incest Texts]]), even claiming in a subsequent letter that Bella confessed to fabricating information during the call without any clarification whatsoever.<ref name=1jun></ref>

On the evening of 31 July, Reddit user ''[[Chrisisaman]]'' located [[Son-chu]] at the Regency Inn in [[Richmond]], confirming that Chris was in the city and that he would be spending time in a motel.<ref>[https://web.archive.org/web/20210801045236/https://old.reddit.com/r/ChrisChanSonichu/comments/ovlys1/location_confirmed_10_minutes_ago/ Archived Reddit post confirming Chris's location]</ref> The next day, [[Post-Merge Era|a number of people]] attempted to observe or contact Chris there. Observers noticed police cars stationed at the motel, but because the place was known to have a seedy reputation, it was not obvious if they were there for Chris or for some other reason. These cop cars eventually left without arresting Chris.

The most significant of the observers was YouTuber [[Ethan Ralph]] who livestreamed himself and his friends [[Ween|driving to the motel to meet Chris]]. Not giving up, the group went to the [[Wikipedia:Regency Mall (Richmond, Virginia)|Regency Mall]] (of [[Leonard Bearstein|'the bear']] fame) across the street, following (incorrect) speculation that Chris might be there if not in his room. While livestreaming at the mall they had an encounter with a police officer, who would happen to be one of the officers who arrested Chris (as Ethan acknowledges during the arrest).

Later that afternoon, Ralph was tipped off that four police cars had shown up at the motel. At around 6:00 PM, he got back just in time to film two Henrico County police officers perp-walking Chris down from his room, streaming the whole debacle for a live audience of over 3,000 viewers. While the police talked to Chris, Ralph sporadically yelled questions and comments, to which Chris occasionally responded.

Unlike Chris's previous run-ins with the law, he remained mostly calm and compliant during the arrest (possibly due to Walker having [[WCT DMs#Discussing the incest fallout|advised him the previous day]] to co-operate with the police in the event of his being arrested), though he rambled about the [[Dimensional Merge]] to both the police and Ralph's crew, promising that the Merge was in fact happening right at that moment. The police then loaded Chris into a squad car and left without answering Ralph's questions.<ref name=video/> An additional POV shot filmed by an anonymous onlooker showed Chris climbing directly into the cop car - the last footage of Chris to date.

Many observers predicted Chris would not take to an extended jail stay well. However, on August 5, the jail's Captain Hoffman told news, "I've had an interaction with inmate Chandler and it's been fine. Three days later, Chris penned [[Jail Letter - 19 September 2021|a bizarre letter]] directed to [[Null]] and defense lawyer David Heilberg, in which he defended [[Chris and sex#Incest|incest]], ranted at Null for turning his back on Chris, and claimed to be [[Jesus Christ]] reincarnated, among other equally batshit statements.<ref name=letter/>

Chris evidently [[Honest content|never listened when he was given the right to remain silent]]. Before this point, while the prosecution had [[Incest Call|audio]] and screenshotted DMs of him confessing to the act, information collected from internet forums or leaked text messages can be unreliable in court.<ref>[https://www.mccarthyfingar.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/11/20120526100635-bar-journal-25-34.pdf A Primer and Problems in Admitting Electronic Records in Evidence at Trial and in Support of Motions for Summary Judgment]</ref> Chris's lawyer could have made the argument that he was coerced into saying those things ([[Chris apologizes to Gwen|which has happened before]]), or even argued that Chris's accounts were taken over by trolls, [[PS3|as they often are]]. These things could have gotten a potential jury to view Chris in a more favourable light and could also have secured Chris a lighter sentence, or even an innocent verdict if he could convince the court that he had [[Reality| simply imagined the whole thing.]]

With this open letter, however, Chris has shot both himself and his attorney in the foot. Any plans by Heilberg to make the trial an issue of mental health{{refn|After Chris's first court showing, Heilberg framed the case in these terms, telling media sources that his client was "legally disabled with mental health issues," and called Chris's online antics "a product of mental health issues causing misguided attention seeking and often provocative engagement with others."<ref name=MentalHealth>{{Cite web

*Kengle has requested to do a crossover with Chris for his Sonichen comics and Sonichu, to which Chris answers with a rather unsubtle "HELL NO!!!". Along with this, Chris sets up a set of guidelines for Sonichu fanfiction for it to be considered canon.
** At two points Chris berates fan-fiction of Sonichu for containing profanity, gore and violence. One needs only glance the pages of Sonichu #10 to see the glaring hypocrisy of this condemning of violence and gore.
** Chris states that ‘countering’ the gore and violence-filled Sonichu Fan Fiction is very stressful and tiresome for him, Implying that people have been sending Chris their own versions of Sonichu, possibly in weenish attempts to recreate the events surrounding the Asperchu saga.

'''The GAMe PLACe''' (also known as '''Cville's Hobbies, Games, and Toys''') was a [[Sonichu (comic)|comic book]], [[video game]], [[Card games|card]], [[Toys|toy]] and [[Tomgirl|hobby]] shop in [[Charlottesville]], [[Virginia]]. From at least [[2002]]<ref>In his [[Chris's resume|resume]], Chris says that in June [[2002]] he became a Gym Leader’s Assistant in The GAMe PLACe, so he must have been a patron of the store by that time. It is not known whether or not he started frequenting the store at an earlier date.</ref> up until the summer of [[2008]], Chris hung out there on a regular basis, going there every Friday without fail to play the ''[[Pokémon]]'' and ''[[Yu-Gi-Oh!]]'' [[TCGs]]. The shop hosted the [[Wikipedia:Pokémon_Organized_Play#Pok.C3.A9mon_TCG_Leagues|''Pokémon TCG'' League]], where Chris served as a self-proclaimed volunteer gym leader (though he was not endorsed in any way, and was largely simply tolerated by the store).

After a long period of increasingly disruptive behavior, and repeated warnings from staff, Chris was permanently kicked out of the store by one of the [[manager]]s, [[Michael Snyder]], on 6 June 2008. After his permanent ban, Chris attempted several times to regain access to the store, to no avail thanks to Michael's insistence.

Following the judgement after the [[28 October 2011]] incident ([[#The_Charlottesville_Incident|see below]]), Chris was forced to keep away from Michael Snyder at all times, which by extension meant that he was permanently banned from the store by law after the judgement, up to its closing in [[June 2014]].

As of [[2015]], the premises formerly occupied by the PLACe are now host to Gearharts, an artisan chocolate shop.

==People of Note==
Chris originally met [[Megan Schroeder]] at The GAMe PLACe in [[2005]], where they bonded over their shared interest in ''Yu-Gi-Oh!''. Megan continued to hang out at the shop even after her friendship with Chris [[ShecameforCWC.JPG|collapsed]] in the spring of 2008, although their relationship by that point was strained to say the least. Once she broke off all contact with Chris, she did her best to ignore him entirely when they were at the store at the same time.

The other two best-known patrons of the shop, aside from Chris himself, are [[Daniel Mimms|Mimms]] and [[Lucas]]. The two friends are the primary source of most of what is known about Chris's behavior at The GAMe PLACe (and most of the information in this article), which they revealed during a detailed [[Mimms and Lucas Q&A|Q&A session]] on the [[Private Villa of Corrupted Citizens (message board)|PVCC forums]]. They're also famous for having taken and uploaded the first photograph of Chris to reach the Internet, which Mimms snapped and Lucas uploaded to [[4-cent garbage.com|4chan]] in the fall of [[2007]].

Michael Snyder was one of the store's managers until he became the owner around October 2011. Chris often mistakenly referred to Snyder as the store's owner long before he purchased the store. Snyder would eventually become one of Chris's real-life enemies when he kicked Chris out of the store in the summer of 2008.<ref name=ban>[[Mimms_and_Lucas_Q%26A#Chris.27s_ban_from_the_store|Mimms' and Lucas' Q&A: Chris's ban from the store.]]</ref>

==Chris's Attitude at the GAMe PLACe==

In his early days at The GAMe PLACe, Chris's behavior seems to have been more "childlike", for lack of a better word. According to Mimms, who was a regular at the store for the entire time Chris hung out there, Chris avoided using foul language when he first started gaming at the store.<ref name=homo>[[Mimms_and_Lucas_Q%26A#Racism_and_homophobia|Mimms and Lucas Q&A: Racism and Homophobia]]</ref> He also never failed to show up for ''Pokémon'' games in his old [[Chris and cosplaying|Ash Ketchum costume]].

The costume was eventually retired, however (by the time of the 2007 photo, Chris was showing up in his usual [[clown shirt]]s and [[Sonichu medallion]]s), and Chris's behavior grew more aggressive and vulgar over the years. According to Mimms and Lucas, Chris often became angry at his card-game opponents, even small children. An [[Megan_emails,_Aug-Dec_2007#Megan_is_pissed_that_Chris_is_nosing_in_her_business|October 2007 e-mail]] from Megan mentions an incident where Chris was extremely threatening and insulting to a guy whom he thought was putting the moves on his gal-pal.

Mimms recounted a few instances of Chris displaying his blatant racism with his dislike and distrust of black people. He was openly suspicious of the young black kids he played ''Pokémon'' and ''Yu-Gi-Oh!'' with, apparently because he thought they were going to make off with his cards.<ref name=mimms1>[[Mimms_and_Lucas_Q%26A#Initial_post|Mimms & Lucas Q&A: Initial Post]]</ref> Chris also nearly managed to earn himself a beating from an older black gamer by the name of TJ:

Likewise, Chris's [[homophobia]] occasionally surfaced while he was hanging out at the shop. A [[gay]] regular at the shop by the name of Eric was the target of mockery, insults, and threats from Chris (although Mimms noted that, for [[Obesity|obvious reasons]], Chris wasn't likely to ever do him any great physical harm).<ref name=homo/> Chris also assumed that two of the shop's regulars were gay because they happened to exchange a few jokingly romantic remarks – his [[Autism|literal mind]] took that as proof that they were an actual couple.<ref name=homo/>

==Chris the Card Gamer==

Though he apparently spent plenty of money buying new cards at the store<ref>[[Mimms_and_Lucas_Q%26A#Chris_as_a_customer|Mimms and Lucas Q&A: Chris as a Customer]]</ref> and built them into a sizable collection of themed decks, Chris didn't have any aptitude for deck-building or strategy in the ''Pokémon'' and ''Yu-Gi-Oh!'' trading card games. Even when playing against small children, he rarely won games or advanced in tournaments, although Mimms recounts one occasion where Chris managed to win a match on a day when most of the regular players were absent, and [[Ego|proudly hollered "I'M THE LEVEL-UP KING!"]]<ref name=mimms2/>

Chris often declares that he was a gym leader in the store's ''Pokémon'' league (an older player who manages tournaments, keeps track of wins and losses, and so forth). It's mentioned on his [[Chris's resume|résumé]], for instance, and he talks about it in the [[Father Call]]. However, his memory has apparently inflated his role considerably. "He wasn't actually a gym leader," says Mimms, but rather a substitute who took the place of the regular gym leader on a few occasions. He also wasn't very good at the job, reportedly becoming angry and snapping at the players he was supposed to be taking care of.<ref name=mimms2/> This earned him his first ban from the store, lasting two weeks, which, according to Lucas, began on 4 April 2008.<ref name=ban/>

To Chris's very slight credit, Mimms says he did resist using his custom ''Pokémon'' and ''Yu-Gi-Oh!'' cards in actual games.<ref name=mimms1/> Mimms and Lucas also noted that he played the [[Card games#UFS_(Ultimate_Fighting_System)_TCG|''Universal Fighting System'' card game]], often playing female characters such as [[Soul Calibur|Cassandra]] and [[CWC Fighter|Chun-Li]].

==The GAMe PLACe Photograph==

In the fall of 2007, Chris discovered the [[Encyclopedia Dramatica]] page devoted to him. There, he also discovered a blurry photograph of himself, which had been taken and posted to 4chan by Mimms and Lucas respectively.

Though he'd already pretty thoroughly blown a gasket over the ED page, Chris went even crazier trying to discover the identity of the photographer. In an e-mail to [[Anna McLerran]] from [[November 2007]], he mentions pestering the staff of The GAMe PLACe to go through their anti-theft camera footage to find out who had taken the photo.<ref>[[Chris_E-mails_2007#November|Chris E-mails: November 2007]]</ref> Unsurprisingly, they weren't very cooperative. According to Mimms, Chris complained about the photo and the ED page so loudly and frequently at the store that the management eventually threatened to kick him out if he didn't stop.

Chris also complained to his mother, who apparently became as angry or more so. At one point, early in November, Chris's parents visited the store and interrogated Mimms as to the origin of the photo. After Mimms admitted that he had snapped the picture (but feigned ignorance as to how it found its way onto the Internet), they threatened to take legal action, but never actually did so.<ref name=mimms2/>

Chris's "investigations" continued on and off for months after he originally found the picture. In an e-mail to Megan (sent in [[March 2008]] and oddly situated in-between desperate apologies for the porn he drew of her), he recounts an indirect confrontation with Lucas at [[GameStop]] on 8 March.

==Chris Gets the Boot==
Chris's behavior offended the store's management and customers in a number of ways. Aside from punting his gym leader duties, scaring the small children he played card games with, picking fights with other players, and generally being a racist and homophobic creep, he would truck his video game consoles into The GAMe PLACe and take over the shop's flatscreen TV for considerable amounts of time, loudly sing along to [[Britney Spears]] during games, pitch fits inspired by his hatred of the [[HEXBox]] in public, and so on.<ref>[[Mimms and Lucas Q&A]]</ref>

The straw that broke the camel's back was an incident in the summer of [[2008]], where Chris got into a shouting match with a young [[Niggo|black]] kid. That particular incident triggered Chris's permanent ban from the store, though Mimms stated "Mike was looking for any reason to ban him at this point."<ref name=mimms1/> While Mimms' recollection was that the permanent ban took place in August, Chris's correspondence indicates that it must have occurred on the first Saturday of June.<ref>This is arrived at by a comparison of Chris's emails to Katie Bay, Blanca, and his GAMe PLACe friends during this summer.</ref>

Predictably, Chris did his best to resist getting kicked out of the store. He brought his parents in to argue his case with Michael Snyder, to which Michael responded by calling the [[Jerkops]]. Despite a fierce response from [[Barbara Chandler]], Chris and his family failed to move either Michael or the cops, and from that point onward every indication was that Chris would never be allowed back into the store.<ref name=mimms1/>

In the [[Jackie e-mails]], Chris offers his own version of events. The so-called "Wii Incident", according to Chris, was when Michael Snyder forced Chris to stop bogarting the TV for his Wii. Doing this apparently caused a number of children to miss out on obtaining a few trade-only evolution Pokémon. Chris got angry and wrote a letter, sign, or simply scrawled a note on the side of a card box stating "Michael Snyder Loves the "F" out of [[Mary Lee Walsh]]." This, Chris claimed, was Mike's last straw and he booted him then.

According to the [[CWCipedia]] article for [http://archive.sonichu.com/cwcipedia/index.php?title=Megan_Schroeder Megan Schroeder], Chris claims that Megan was there the day he was banned and claimed that she just stood there in shock, refusing to speak up for him. In reality, of course, she was simply disgusted by his behavior like any rational person would have been and relieved that his banning would be the last time Chris would ever be in her sight.<ref>http://archive.sonichu.com/cwcipedia/index.php?title=Megan_Schroeder</ref> Also, she refused to defend Chris not because of shock, but because of his sexual harassment, destruction of her dignity, anger issues, and overall immaturity, ultimately cementing the fact that nobody wanted Chris to ever return to the store.

In February 2011, Chris mentioned in [[Autism Tutorial Part 3]] that he still feels bitter over his banning.

==Unbanning Attempts==

Chris repeatedly attempted to overcome his ban and gain readmission to the store. As mentioned in [[Chris_E-mails_2008#July|a July 2008 e-mail]], Chris sent a letter to Michael Snyder shortly after his initial 1-month ban. In [[March 2009]], he attempted to apologize in the best way he knew how: [[Apology to Game & Hobby Place|posting a video to YouTube on the off-chance the individual addressed would see it.]] This was [[Chris and remorse|not the most sincere apology in the world]], since Chris made it clear in a [[I Am The TRUE, Original CCWC|later video]] that he doesn't really understand why he was thrown out in the first place. A month later, in [[April 2009]], Chris attempted to sneak into the store, but when a cashier recognized him and caught him, Chris ran [[Sonichu's Edge|as far away as he could]].

Almost two years after his initial ban from The GAMe PLACe, Chris would try again to get the ban lifted. Chris's conversations with Jackie reveal that he attempted to go to The GAMe PLACe after church on 11 [[April 2010]]. When he was once again recognized by a cashier who threatened to call the cops, Chris got angry and bolted. The next day, Chris visited the store again to talk to Michael Snyder in an attempt to have the ban removed. However, the visit did not turn out in Chris's favor, as [[Michael Snyder is ColdHearted and Mean|the audio from the incident]] shows. Michael refused to revoke the ban (later noting on YouTube, that Chris was actually reading the apology from a pre-written script<ref>[http://www.youtube.com/comment_servlet?all_comments&v=u_p6bShW97Y YouTube comment by Mike.]</ref>) and Chris took this about as well as could be expected; he flipped Michael off,<ref>[http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HWq4pB_Vikw YouTube comment by Chris.]</ref> called him a '''''JEW''''', and left the store in a huff. [[Chris and the law|The police were called]] about the incident, according to Mimms, but Chris was already long gone by the time they arrived. No charges were pressed, likely because nobody was actually physically abused.

Later that day, Chris uploaded the audio of the incident to [[YouTube]], accompanied by a description soliciting harassment and "trolling" of Michael and his fellow employees. However, it was removed from the site in a matter of hours due to a "Terms of Use Violation". Considering [[Chris and race|Chris's antisemitic remark]] directed at Michael, his invitation for others to harass him, and the possibly illegal nature of the recording, it's not hard to see why it was wiped off the website.

Chris has never fully understood why he was kicked out of the store. According to Mimms, Chris didn't see what was wrong with his behavior at the time,<ref name=ban/> and he evidently hasn't reflected on the subject much in the intervening years. During the April 2010 visit to the store, the only possible grounds for his ban he could remember was the aforementioned "Wii Incident". Later, when he posted an ad on CWCipedia complaining about Snyder's refusal to lift the ban, Chris appeared to believe that the store manager refused to let him in because he hated him personally and [[Kick the Autistic|people with autism in general]].

In [[October 2010]], Chris made [[100 2261.MOV|yet another request]] to be readmitted. Wearing an ancient ''Pokémon'' League T-shirt, he apologized for his behavior and said that the ban was his fault, blaming the whole thing on his infamous "[[stress]]". He also claimed to have only "shouted a loud outburst" twice. Unsurprisingly, Mike wasn't moved.

With Chris's continued failure to overturn the ban, it was clear that his chances of winning entry to The GAMe PLACe were almost as remote as the chances of his [[duck]] winning entry to [[China]] (without the use of [[Mia Hamm|commercial services]]).

==The Charlottesville Incident==

On 4 [[June 2010]], Chris visited The GAMe PLACe. [[6 June 2010|He claimed]] that he wanted to take a photograph of Snyder so he could print it out and use it as a dartboard, but when Snyder saw him with his camera outside, he chased Chris. Chris claimed that he tried to drive away, but was accosted by Snyder, a woman he didn't recognize, and the police. Snyder's version was more succinct:

The police listened to Chris rant about the trolls for a while and eventually made him delete the pictures and sent him home with a warning. Chris did not tell his parents anything, and it would be [[Matthew Noble call|two months]] before they would learn about it.

==Crime Story==

On 28 October 2011, Chris and [[Barbara Chandler|Barb]] got arrested and ended up facing multiple charges; hit-and-run (both), misdemeanor assault, trespassing (Chris), and attacking a law official (Barb). Going by the details of said charges, as well as photographs uploaded to [[CWCki|this very wiki]] by Chris himself, it can be assumed that the two tried to enter the store, Chris got in a fight with Michael, the two tried and failed to escape the parking lot before the police arrived, damaging something in the process, and when the cops showed up Barb tried to stop them from arresting Chris.

After the incident, Chris used a 10% off coupon found in the local newspaper to produce an anti-GAMe PLACe flyer - stating that it was a "cyber-bullies hang-out" and encouraging people to "stay far away". He also stated that the PLACe will go down by "[his] will, or by someone elses fire-on-a-stick and bombs" suggesting he has learned absolutely nothing from his chastening court experience.

===Google Maps Spamming===
A scathing review of the place on Google Maps written by one "[[Bob Chandler|Robert]]" was discovered by trolls. What's notable about this is that the review was written right around the time of the incident.

Several clues made quite a few trolls suspicious that "Robert" was actually Chris. The mere fact that his "friend" has to point out that he's autistic from the get-go raises a red flag, and the message is pretty much full of biased contempt towards [[Michael Snyder]], and pretty much sets the tone for his anti-GAMe PLACe campaign above. Note also that the words "WIDOWED MOTHER" is in all caps, something Chris [[Chris and writing|routinely does in his writing]] when [[Chris and anger|angry]].

A second review later showed up by someone who identified themselves as "Ben McMullan." The review read:

==Barb and the GAMe PLACe==
A [[Matthew Noble call|phone conversation]] recorded in early [[August 2010]] revealed many more details about the odd attitude that Bob and Barb Chandler held and continue to hold towards The GAMe PLACe. During the discussion, they show a total ignorance of how Chris behaved at the store and why he was banned. Barb shows signs of still holding a grudge over her visit to the store after Chris's final ban, while Bob suggests that he believed that the trolling of Chris somehow originates from a conspiracy at the store.

Bob does not explain why Mike, Megan, and the "gay kids" (likely a reference to Eric and Tito<ref>Mimms_and_Lucas_Q&A#Racism and homophobia</ref>) would create this grand conspiracy against Chris, but he goes as far as to accuse them of fraudulently obtaining access to Chris's credit cards and bank accounts. [[Best Buy|Data]] uncovered a month later shows that Chris wasted tons of money on PlayStation Network cards and games he'll never play, resulting in further debt and an excuse to blame Snyder and the trolls for stealing his credit cards.

==Chris Accepts the GAMe PLACe?==
On 4 [[April 2013]], Chris posted on [[Facebook]], ''"I, Christian Weston Chandler, fully never ever, forever, want to have anything to do with the Game and Hobby PLace."'' It never fell through, but it could've been a ''geinus'' plan to lull Mike into a false sense of security.

==Nope, He Still Wants It Scalded==
The [[2013 Imgur Leak]] revealed [http://i.imgur.com/mBFcon9.png a post] that would elaborate more on this development. Amusingly, Chris believed that everyone at the PLace masterminded the trolling that continues to haunt him to this day, particularly Megan and Mike, who he deemed as the "Prime Trolls". He also called for the PLace itself to be destroyed, if only for the reason of ousting a manchild that acted like a jackass in the store.

Either way, given the consequences of his actions and his utter refusal to let go of childish things, it seems very unlikely that Chris will forgive or forget the GAMe PLACe. It does, however, raise a valid question concerning Chris: What will he do once his probation ends?

Proving once and for all that Chris absolutely refuses to let go of his ban from the GAMe PLACe, on 4 October 2013, Chris posted a very angry [[Facebook]] post where he shifts all of the blame onto Megan. In the post, he claims that Megan had been plotting with a GAMe PLACe employee to set up everything to get him banned, from the photo being taken by Mimms and Lucas to Megan "pretending" to kiss a "homosexual [[JERKS|jerk]]", thus leading to him getting banned forever. He then goes on to say that he'll continue to curse the GAMe PLACe and Megan [[Chris and hypocrisy|until ''she'' apologizes for what she's done]].

==The Saga Ends==

In June 2014, information was leaked on the [[Kiwi Farms]] that seemed to indicate that the GAMe PLACe had shut down for good. The historical location of the store was empty, and a poster on the store's glass front indicated that the location was up for rent. Whether the place was apparently shut down because of financial problems, Chris's curses, or other factors remains unknown, but even after the shut down of the store, Chris continues to hold a grudge against Mike. It is also unknown if the business simply moved away and changed its name to avoid being detected by both Chris and [[weens]] alike.

===Today===
In November 2015, Gearharts, a local fine chocolate business, moved to and opened in the former GAMe PLACe site, where it has remained operational to date. Chris mentioned the new store on the [[CatKnight Interview 2|second CatKnight interview]], saying that he does not feel it is as good as the PLACe and is not interested in entering; assuming, of course, that the new tenants allow him back in.

In September 2019, two years shy of a decade after Chris's ban, rumors began circulating online that a new PLACe had opened in the suburbs of Washington D.C., once again led by Snyder. Chris has yet to comment on this potential revival of his old haunt, but one of his orbiters, the malicious [[Jacob Sockness]], chose to harass Snyder in response to this, tracking down a guestbook for the funeral to the latter's recently-deceased father to torment him over banning Chris.

The scene begins with what amounts to a [[Chris and reality|biologically impossible]] (on multiple levels) self-impregnation, with Chris having received what is presumably [[Jackie]]'s egg cell, which he has fertilized with his own [[navy]]. The 'pregnancy' is given form by padding under Chris's shirt, including the [[Plush Breasts|plush breasts]].

Having effectively screwed himself, the next scene has Chris on his back, futilely attempting to right himself. Next comes the birthing scene, Chris now pointing the camera at his own crotch, and completing the birth by tossing a [[Li'l Chris|teddy bear]] onto his knees.

Finally, Chris has his stomach exposed, and the plush breasts stuffed down his [[Muscle bra|sports bra]], while he forces the bear to suckle from his teat. The "newborn baby" then says its first words.

Pokémon Go is a 2016 augmented reality (AR) mobile game developed and published by Niantic in collaboration with The Pokémon Company for iOS and Android devices. The game consists of players physically travelling around to find and catch pokemon that randomly pop up on the map.

On release, the game became a massive hit, attracting players like Norwegian prime minister Erna Solberg.<ref>https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2016/oct/05/norway-prime-minister-caught-playing-pokemon-go-parliament-erna-solberg</ref> Although the craze has slowly fizzled out, it maintains a significant fanbase by devoted fans of Pokémon, such as Chris.

As with every single new item to exist on this planet, Chris was quick to pick up the game as one of his hobbies, later stating it as proof of the [[Dimensional Merge]]. As what the game was originally marketed to do, Chris would go out and catch virtual Pokémon as any Pokémon trainer would. Chris would later photograph his Pokémon collection at his [[14 Branchland Court|home]], providing a partial tour of his residence in the process.

Chris has been shown to be very addicted, many years after the game lost steam. At [[BronyCon 2019]], people travelling with Chris quoted that he would be "hatching eggs on Pokemon Go.. while at stoplights." This shows that not only is Chris hooked on the game, but also willing to put the lives of others at risk while doing so.

== Observations ==

With the images provided of Chris's Pokémon collection, one could easily observe the current condition of his home with it. And no, it's not good. The majority of the said photos reveal Chris's derelict, abandoned back and front-yard.
*As seen in one of the Celebi photos (refer to gallery below), [[Bob Chandler|Bob's]] greenhouse is overfilled with piles of Chris and Barb's hoard.
*The portrait of [[Mewtwo]] reveals damaged/worn-out paint on the Chandler residence, likely the aftermath of the [[Weens|egging]] incident, showing the neglect which Chris and Barb have shown to their home.
*The gazebo has clearly been abandoned. Its timber is shown to be deteriorating, and the structure itself is surrounded by debris resembling [[Destruction of Chris's House|wood tinder]].

==Microtransactions==
Being a mobile game in [[2020]], the game runs on revenue from microtransactions and special event ticket fees. Chris has spent 14.99$ on ticket fees for the PokemonGOfest2020 event for a 2 day event on July 25 and 26.<Ref>[[July 2020 social media posts#Need friends]]</ref> How much more of the [[tugboat]] is wasted on this is unknown.

Chris appears to use Pokémon Go as a form of [[Chris and coping|coping mechanism]]: the augmented reality nature of the game allows virtual Pokemon to exist within the same frame as a real-life location (i.e 14 BC), re-enforcing his belief in the Dimensional Merge.

== PokéStop attempts==

Chris has tried to get his [[house]] accepted as a PokéStop in the game, despite residences not being allowed for consideration.

In [[April 2019]], he recorded [[Sonichu Headquarters Google Intro Video]] to promote the idea.

In [[August 2020]], he reached Level 40 in Pokémon Go, allowing him to nominate a location, choosing his house (calling it a temple at this point). However, his application was rejected.

As of 2020, Chris still actively plays Pokémon Go. Chris has tweeted his Pokemon as part of the 2020 Go-fest, while continuing to roleplay as Sonichu.
