Suffice to say, this was one of Chris's first overreactions to [[trolls]] and an early step towards becoming a lolcow. Chris has subsequently tried to remove or [[retcon]] out details or themes that could be viewed as borderline or outright pedophilia from his ''[[Sonichu]]'' comics, although, with Chris's tendency to be very [[Slow-in-the-minds|slow-in-the-mind]], some things still manage to remain.

At first glance, Chris appears to rigidly adhere to child sex laws; as the age of consent in Virginia is eighteen, Chris makes it clear when advertising himself for his [[Love Quest]] that all potential [[sweethearts]] must be no younger than eighteen (and no older than he is at the time). However, it's likely that Chris doesn't understand ''why'' these laws actually exist and may see them as deterrents in his Quest, in the same vein as [[jerkop]]s and [[Mary Lee Walsh]]. This is evidenced by a scene in [[Sonichu 8|''Sonichu'' #8]], when the [[Rosechu (species)|Rosechus]] decide to strip for [[women's rights]]. Fourteen-year-old [[Zapina]] asks if she can join contribute to the naked bouncy giggly protesting fun, but [[Rosechu (character)|Rosechu]] tells her no, adding in disappointment that she can't because of her age. When Zapina offers to be a spotlight instead, Rosechu hesitates, citing "the dumb laws". It is unclear whether this refers to the same laws that bar Zapina from stripping or the ones against exposing yourself in the presence of a minor. Either way, it seems odd that a self-proclaimed feminist would be annoyed with laws that protect young girls from being manipulated into sexual relationships, but Chris likely doesn't understand this.

Two more items of note: Joe Weston, Chris' own grandfather, was a pedofork (at age 30, he married [[Barbara Chandler|Barb]]'s mother, who was half his age), and Chris himself used to wear [[pedo-glasses]].

Chris also feels the need to talk about the sexuality of Sonichu and Rosechu's children- all three of them are underage, being 11-12 years old as of 2018. Both sisters are canonically 12 as of 2018.

Whether or not their evolved forms are meant to be their "adult" stages is unknown. Seeing how they still go to school, they are still children.

Signs of the Chandlers' worsening finances were made apparent by the increasing amounts of begging videos and donation requests on [[YouTube]] and [[Facebook]].

In June 2017, Chris began to take his [[Patreon]] account more seriously and recommenced drawing Sonichu comic pages. He has gotten several hundred dollars per month for his efforts. As a result, the begging has subsided.

To this day, the Chandlers' financial woes are caused by their own irresponsible behaviors. Barb, on the other hand, has simply been ignoring long-term debts and letting them pile up to alarming amounts, armed only with vain hopes that her manbaby would raise money for her bills.

==Why Chris refuses to work==
Despite actively begging for money for over a year and a half, Chris did not attempt to get a job. One of his IRL friends, a woman from his Pokémon club named Alexa P., became concerned after seeing Chris repeatedly beg on Facebook. She suggested, in November 2016,<ref>[[November 2016 Facebook posts#Barb pawns jewelry, Chris decides to join Patreon]]</ref> and again in April 2017,<ref name=getajob/> that he contact one of her family members who works at Virginia DARS, a government service that helps disabled individuals find work. At the first suggestion, Chris didn't follow through, and at the second, he fired off a rant about why he was unwilling to get a job, and Alexa then gave up trying to help him.

In his rant, Chris gave the following flimsy excuses:

*Busy with helping Barb and the pets.

*Risk of being discriminated against for his [[tomgirl]] gender.

Furthermore, Chris's legal name during the Financhu Crisis was Christine Chandler, and since most of his history being trolled is tied to his former Christian Chandler name, Google results for his current name greatly de-emphasize the trolls' influence. In addition, fellow lolcows like [[William Elliott Waterman]] and [[Kenneth Erwin Englehardt|Kenneth Englehardt]] also have their names linked to their internet shenanigans, yet they have gained employment.

Discrimination on the basis of gender is illegal. Charlottesville is a fairly liberal city, so his trans identity should not be an issue.

Chris is a self-admitted impulse buyer.<ref name="Miyamoto" /> His [[PlayStation Network]] account shows that he's never played more than half of the games he's bought. And yet, astoundingly, he's still gone out of his way to buy ''all'' available downloadable content for ''every'' single [[PlayStation 3]] game that he's ever purchased, and even for ''games he doesn't own'', and he also further promoted his [[Chris and brand loyalty|Sony fanboyism]] by later buying a Sony LCD HDTV for his bedroom which likely costs about $1,000-$1,500. All the while, Chris bought his [[Chris and fashion|clothes]] at second-hand discount thrift stores. Usually, children are taught the value of money at a very young age – not in Chris's case, apparently.

In September [[2013]], Chris complained about he and his mom going through "emotionally depressing, and Financial Downfall to the depths of Greatly Poor and Just Getting By", making it clear that the family income had dipped since Bob's passing. However, these supposedly lean times were apparently not enough to motivate Chris to get a job, or even to stop buying games, as evidenced by him racking up over $1,000 in game purchases on ''The Simpsons: Tapped Out''.<ref>https://kiwifarms.net/threads/chriss-spending-on-iphone-games.2035/</ref>

Throughout the summer of 2014, Chris continued to spend thousands of dollars on [[Lego]] and other frivolities, all while whining and complaining on Facebook about his and his mother's poor finances. Chris financed this spending primarily with money from selling custom arts and crafts on his eBay account. Offering free shipping to customers, Chris would receive money from customers, and then pay for shipping out of his own pocket. However, Chris would immediately spend money as soon as it was deposited into his account, often leaving him unable to ship products to customers who had already paid him because of his own financial irresponsibility and negligence.

When several of Chris's eBay customers filed complaints against him because Chris failed to ship a order as promised and obligated, Chris responded by harassing and trolling the customers, posting their personal information in a public post on his Facebook account. In light of this, Chris's future money making prospects from eBay are dim, as most prospective future customers probably wouldn't want to risk being harassed or scammed by Chris.

All the while, even as Chris's credit card debt continued to spiral out of control, Chris continued to buy thousands of dollars of video games, Lego, and other frivolities. As if this were not bad enough, just days after putting his and Barb's cars up for sale (at exorbitant prices), Chris went out and bought a 2010 Ford Focus, stating on Facebook that he had been approved for a loan, probably at a high interest rate. He also stated that paying for insurance on his new car was "killing" him, implying that either the insurance payment was costly, that he was having trouble paying it, or both.

===Chris's parental enabling===
Bob encouraged his son to remain unemployed, since he believed that Chris would earn more money from his monthly tugboat than he would have from getting a job. However, this assumption was and is inaccurate. Minimum wage in the state of [[Virginia]] is $7.25 an hour. If Chris were to somehow do a complete 180° on his life and begin working a full 40-hour week, his monthly payment before taxes and payment for room and board would be about $1,260: that's $15,100 annually. Subtracting the money he pays his mom every month to live, as well as the 5% tax his income range mandates in the state of Virginia, Chris could very likely be left with a ridiculous $8,000, which knowing Chris, would be spent on yet more frivolities. Contrast this with the $2,748 Chris pulled in annually from the government after paying off his parents, and it becomes clear that Bob's encouragement came from either thinking Chris would lose his social security if employed (which he wouldn't) or the more accurate notion that his son is a useless failure.

A very likely explanation for Chris's reckless spending is that his parents are at fault (to a degree at least). In addition to coddling him throughout his entire life, they managed to make sure that [[Chris and remorse|Chris has never felt the repercussions for his exorbitant spending (or for anything else)]] by taking over paying Chris's credit card debt, regularly giving him about "$6 a day for small things", buying him [[List of restaurants|fast food]] on a daily basis, and continuing to let himself blow all his money on frivolities and useless stuff, as opposed to essentials like [[Chris and health#Chris and hygiene|hygiene products]], [[Piedmont Virginia Community College|courses that could eventually help him onto the employment ladder]] or [[Clown shirt|clothing that isn't unbelievably tacky]]. He lives cheaply as shit. He saves money by buying dollar store shit. He's the type of person to buy single ply toilet paper at the dollar store. But sometimes he'll splurge and treat himself to things, like alcohol. He does this all while meeting his obligations, like his minimum payments and his bills.}}

Information from Cousin Al<ref>[[Catherine#The bowling outing]]</ref> revealed that Chris and Barb '''had''' an inheritance from Bob worth "tens of thousands of dollars". However, Barb spent all of it on hiring Rob Bell to defend herself (...and Chris) from legal charges incurred after [[28 October 2011|the two of them hit Michael Snyder with a car]]. It should be noted that a state-provided attorney would have been free and yielded the same result (pleading guilty), for the case was so cut-and-dry that even a lawyer of Bell's caliber had no chance of winning it.

==Credit Cards==
That Chris has managed to acquire several credit cards is very surprising, but the foolishness with which he uses them wouldn't surprise anybody at all. As of [[February 2009]], Chris had managed to rack up $2,000 worth of debt (at the time of [[Mumble 4]], $1,000 of that sum came from the [[PSN]] store, but his bill for PSN downloads increased by the day) and had even stolen his parents' credit cards to use when his own were maxed out. According to an [[Vivian Gee E-mails 2|e-mail Chris sent to Vivian Gee]], by [[January 2010]] his debt was around $3,500 and had apparently been higher at some point in the intervening time.

By that point, Chris's debt had gotten so out of hand that Bob was forced to step in, making Chris reduce and manage on his spending, and forcing Chris to make regular payments to pay off his outstanding debt. Chris, thoughtless and uninterested in the fact that unpaid credit card debt accrues severe interest, had historically made payments in the smallest installments possible.

Chris provided some more details about this situation in his [[Jackie E-mails 6|e-mails to Jackie]] from [[July 2010]]. At some point, Bob paid off Chris's credit card debt and took payment in installments out of the tugboat in compensation. This foolish act of parental financial enabling allowed Chris to avoid the immediate consequences of his gross financial irresponsibility, and resulted in Chris learning nothing about how to manage his own finances, reinforcing Chris's attitude that he should be able to do anything that he wants and not suffer any negative consequences.

===Best Buy MasterCard===
Not surprisingly, it only took Chris a few short months to land himself in more financial trouble. In the [[Matthew Noble call]], Bob himself revealed that Chris had not only acquired a MasterCard charge account through [[Best Buy]], but as of the second week of [[August 2010]], Chris had predictably used it to land himself in yet more debt and had been laden with fees for bouncing a card payment.

One of Chris's [[Jackie E-mails 7|e-mails to Jackie]] reveals that Chris acquired the Best Buy charge card without his parents' permission; he only told them about it after receiving 2 bounced check fees that showed up on his bank statement, which his father was actively monitoring. In true Chris fashion, he tried to repay the minimum balance each month. When he was forced to reveal the debt to his parents, Bob was obviously less than thrilled. He promptly took control of Chris's bank account as well as his credit cards. From that point until Bob's death, he received only an allowance in the form of Visa gift cards, leaving him unable to accrue any more debt for a short time. At the time, the prospect of not being able to blow his welfare on frivolities [[Jackie E-mails 8|stressed him out]].

Curiously, even in his private communications with Jackie, Chris claimed that the overdraft fees that gave away the existence of the card to Bob were the work of trolls. Elsewhere in their conversations, however, he recounts other instances of "getting carried away" and accidentally overdrawing his bank account, suggesting that he was just using the trolls as a handy scapegoat for his own mistakes.

Bob, delusional and in the throes of some sort of conspiracy paranoia involving the staff and patrons of The GAMe PLACe, claimed that it was most likely [[Michael Snyder]] who had hacked Chris's credit card and checking accounts, though why someone who's been on a manager's salary for several years would bother stealing from any of the near-destitute Chandlers is unknown.

It's unknown why ''any'' financial institution would give Chris a line of credit at this point. Bob probably salvaged Chris's credit rating when he paid off all his prior card debt at once, but he angrily claimed Chris ruined it with the Best Buy debt (certainly true), and, in disturbingly Chris-like fashion, seemed to use this damning information to try to make Chris's latest brush with the [[Chris and the Law|law]] seem "petty" in comparison.

Unverified information on Chris's credit card debt was leaked on the CWCki Forums on 4 June 2014. It was revealed that Chris had at least five active credit cards, with at least $7600 in combined credit limit. Of the five known active cards, at least four were revealed to be maxed out, with at least $7400 in unpaid debt between the five cards. This might be the result of the local industry, choked by heavy taxes needed to pay those social expenses, being unable to make a profit there and thus moving away.

In [[Sonichu 10|''Sonichu'' #10]], [[Ultra Sonichu]] and a bevy of [[Rosechu (species)|Rosechus]] stop at a soup hotel. The building is labeled Soup Hotel 17, implying that [[CWCville]] has had to open at least seven new homeless shelters in the span of a month, or they're just bad at numbering the things. Or more tellingly, that the economy of CWCville is crashing to the ground, fast.

In [[Mumble 6]], Chris discussed making a TV show called ''The Chris Chandler Show''. One of his demands was the show should not have any commercial breaks, either showing a distinct lack of understanding as to how a TV station makes money, or perhaps he plans to sell the advertising fees to a single company so that they can play a long ad in the beginning of the air time and leave the rest of the show uninterrupted, ''à-la'' the season premieres of [[wikipedia:24 (TV Series)|''24'']]. We cannot know for sure, but he has probably seen at least one show that has done this, and gathered the idea from there.

Unfortunately, as evidenced by his [[This is how the Trial went|admission in court,]] Barb is still pulling his ass out of any such concept by paying his court fees. Keep in mind that, by extension, Chris is being minded by an ailing woman's retirement money which was used to bail him out of a mess that ''he'' started, while he wastes his own money on meaningless frivolities.

== Conclusion ==

Given Chris's carefree abandon when it comes to his spending habits, many are actually concerned as to what will happen to Chris when Barb passes on and he has to fend for himself. If past (and present) experiences are any indication, it's that if Chris continues on his path of not saving his money and spending it on frivolous crap that he doesn't need, he'll wind up broke and in severe debt. Barb was not happy, making negative remarks, such as, "do not wear eye shadow", "you look like [[Carlos Chantor|a prostitute]]", "lipstick makes you look like a hooker", "you're turning into a [[homos|gay]]", "[[Un-clit|what are you piercing next?]]", and "what's next, you [[I Love You, Catherine|wearing a skirt]] and high heels?"<ref>[[Jackie E-mails 24]]</ref> Predictably, Chris reacted to this negative criticism by completely disregarding it and complaining about Barb.

==Tomboys and Tomgirls of Virginia==

In late May, Chris discovered the [[Tomboys And Tomgirls of Virginia]] forum. The forum was dedicated to tomboys and tomgirls living in Virginia who wish to discuss their lives. Chris joined under the username [[My Little Pony|Kookydashy]], marking a midpoint in the saga.

In the posts Chris made, he mostly talked about himself and his tomgirl antics. Chris revealed that he had [[Homos|come out]] to his parents, only to receive insults from them. [[Barb]], in particular, has kept complaining about his new attire, and [[Bob]], according to Chris, "threw the damned fag card" at him. Chris also recounts a story in which he went to the lady's restroom because he "started feeling discomfort in using the Men's restroom." Despite a [[jerkop]] who caught him and yelled at him, Chris proceeded to ignore him and is presumably using the ladies' room to this day.

Later posts Chris made excessive mention of being trolled online, at which point it became obvious that KookyDashy was Chris. According to Chris, socializing online makes people more [[autistic]], and people should socialize offline. The irony of posting this on an online social forum was apparently lost. Chris also became paranoid of being trolled even on these forums, leading him to accuse a tomboy looking for a tomgirl of being a troll. For a month, Chris didn't post at the forums.

After that month, [[Thorg]] discovered the Tomboys and Tomgirls of Virginia forum, and made an article about it on the [[CWCki]]. Chris noticed this quickly, and alerted his fellow tomboys and tomgirls a day later. Naturally, this also entailed him admitting that he is Christian Weston Chandler. Chris complained about the trolls, and said that he is not a bad person, despite what the CWCki said. The other posters promised to help Chris defeat the trolls. The forums became defunct shortly afterwards.

==From tomgirl to transgender==

Bob's passing, however it may have affected Chris, did not stop him from being a tomgirl; 3 years later, according to his latest [[OkCupid]] profile, he stated "I would cross dress more often if my mother was not against me doing it (panties and bra included, but wear them anyway)." Chris wrote an autobiographical narrative of coming out to his parents in [[Sonichu 12]].

On 14 August [[2014]], Chris [[August 2014 Facebook Posts#Chris comes out...kinda|revealed]] via [[Facebook]] that he is a self-described "Tomgirl, Intersex of Female Soul with Male Body, and a Tranny Cross-Dresser", claiming shortly afterward to be a [[Gaybian|lesbian in a male body]]. He also proclaimed that he is a supporter of "LBT" rights, which seems to have neatly coincided with the advent of his professed status as a transsexual person. His omission of the "G" (Gay) was attacked by [[Kim Wilson|Kim]], in the face of which Chris admitted that the [[Homos|"G.M.s"]] were "fortunate" to be "on the boat", suggesting that he despises gay men as much as ever.

Chris returned to uploading videos of himself in 2015. He started introducing himself as Christine, and he asked people to refer to him using feminine pronouns. From 2015 to present, he refers to himself as a "Proud Lesbian Trans Woman."

Chris has been making an effort to feminize his voice, but instead of pulling off a convincing femme voice like some other trans women (or simply just not bothering, given his voice is naturally high on its own, and there are trans women who have chosen not to get voice treatments), he talks with a Mickey Mouse falsetto. The falsetto often drops down to his old voice at some point in a given video, sometimes as soon as he introduces himself. He has also ditched his monotone speech pattern for an extreme sing-song tone, especially when he adds bits of [[random-access humor]]. In [[CLog 10042017 - Q&A NO MORE|Q&A NO MORE]], he continued to affect a feminine voice when he was yelling, resulting in a cartoonish witch-like scream.

After years of attempting junk science treatments, Chris went on an actual HRT, or hormone replacement therapy, regime around the fall of 2016<ref>[[September 2017 tweets#Chris insists he's on HRT]]</ref>. The [[Man in the Pickle Suit]] vouched for Chris's claim, saying that he possibly acquired the hormones from an informed consent clinic<ref>https://kiwifarms.net/threads/random-thoughts-questions.661/page-818#post-2888457</ref>.

It is unknown whether Chris is taking a testosterone blocker (T-blocker) with his hormones. T-blockers are usually recommended for MTFs on hormones who haven't had surgery; without them, the estrogen can be converted into testosterone, making it pointless. This does not go well with his continued and worsening balding. T-blockers can also slow or even reverse male pattern baldness, soften the skin, and help the trans woman achieve a larger cup size, both of which can be beneficial for passing.

==Reasons behind Chris's transition==

Although cross-dressing among gay men ("doing drag") is deliberately over-the-top and purely for comedic purposes, Chris in his homophobia would almost certainly consider it to be a form of sexual expression - and thus, wearing women's clothing would damn one as a [[homo]]. This created much confusion among [[white knights]] and [[trolls]] alike, as Chris has long preached against any sort of behavior that might "turn people homo", or cast any aspersions on his purported heterosexuality. There are a few theories as to why he turned Tomgirl, and how he justifies it to himself:

* Given that he constantly insists that he appeals to all sexualities of women now, it may be that he just wanted to broaden the demographic of women who would be attracted to him. This is most likely the case.
* As [[Clyde Cash]] pointed out, it could be a latent desire he's been in denial over for years and only now beginning to embrace. It could also be possible he could no longer hold in his crossdressing urges.
* Some suggested that he received advice about "getting in touch with his feminine side" and Chris [[Autism|took it literally]]. This is what happened [[Tomboys and Tomgirls of Virginia|according to Chris]], which means nothing since he lies to suit himself constantly.
* As evidenced by [[Women's rights|his past behavior towards women]] and his recent bragging about using the female restroom, he could be doing it as an excuse to peep on women using them. In a similar vein, he would also be avoiding using the male restroom, an all-[[pickle]] environment which probably causes a lot of [[stress]].
* It could be a bizarre, roundabout solution to the cognitive dissonance that no doubt comes with Chris's increasingly often demonstrated [[JERKS|hatred of his own sex]]. This as a solution would allow him to maintain his insane loathing of men, and not admit it is motivated [[Infinitely-High Boyfriend Factor|by]] [[Liquid Chris|jealousy]].
* Also, as shown by [[PlayingHouse| his very strange, childish, and lazy fantasy]] of what married life would be like for him, Chris obviously does not want to have to be the spouse who provides for the family. It's possible that Chris realized that it's usually the man who has a job, and the woman stays to look after the home, raise any possible children, and [[SpaghettiRoutine|cook]] (not that he would be good at any of those things). As such, Chris may have decided to say he was trans so he could have an excuse to not work ([[Autism|another one, that is]]). This wouldn't make much sense, since the breadwinning man would be absent, except that Chris [[Attraction Sign|absolutely expects the other woman in the relationship to work]] just as hard as the man would.
* This may be a last ditch effort to deny his [[Homos|homosexuality]]. In [[Mumble 1]] and [[Sonichu 9]], Chris explicitly states that he would rather go through a painful sex change than be gay. Given the [[Oestrogel application and Vibrating Bra, How To.|risks]] he's taking to transition, it's very possible that he'd rather die than come out of the closet.

==Evidence of legitimate transsexuality==

Transsexuality is fundamentally the result of gender dysphoria, a neurological condition wherein the affected individual believes that their gender identity does not correspond with their biological sex (some evidence shows that affected individuals have brain structures more similar to those of the opposite sex). Chris has shown unclear symptoms; the [[Muscle bra|bras]] for instance can easily be chalked up to Chris's loathing of men and their chests. His hatred of all [[pickle]]s rather than just his own suggests issues about sexual insecurity rather than gender insecurity, and his total non-acceptance of LGBT people until now is another nail in the coffin - he is still terrified of being considered a homo, and still refuses to acknowledge gay men (as seen above in his "LBT" rant) or other MtF transsexuals. In [[May 2015]], Chris began [[Oestrogel_application_and_Vibrating_Bra,_How_To.|a largely ineffectual form of hormone treatment]], conceivably because he was assessed for proper hormone replacement therapy and deemed ineligible, possibly because of his [[Chris and health|health status]]. It also costs a great deal of [[money]] to get hormone therapy, and Chris's tugboat won't cover it on top of the expenses it already does.

However, gender dysphoria could also explain a lot of Chris's past behavior; an example being Chris's insecurity in failing to live up to cultural perceptions of masculinity. His tendency to exaggerate or overcompensate for his fragile masculinity could be caused by subconsciously knowing that his intellectual gender does not match his biological sex. Additionally, Chris is known for his pathological hatred of change, unless the change is beneficial or positive for him. To assume Chris "became" trans purely for the quest for [[china]] is fairly extreme, as suddenly identifying by another gender identity is generally a life-changing event for anybody, and Chris has shown that he is incapable of substantially changing himself even with the [[Kacey|promise of a relationship]] laid in front of him.

It is possible that Chris is an autogynephile (Greek for "lover of oneself as a woman"), a type of transsexual who doesn't have gender dysphoria, but desires to be female in a sexual or romantic way (often as a sexual fetish). Chris's signs of autogynephilia show with his strong desire to have a daughter named [[Crystal]] (arguably a female form of himself), as well as his desire to wear [[bra]]s and leggings. He could also suffer from androphobia (fear of being a [[JERKS|man]]).

===Autism===
There is a correlation between [[autism]] and trans identity. According to a Dutch study, 7.8% of trans people are on the spectrum.<ref>https://www.theatlantic.com/health/archive/2016/11/the-link-between-autism-and-trans-identity/507509/</ref>

There are a number of similarities between the two disorders. Autistic people also have a tendency to "fixate" and "obsess" on issues. Many autistic trans people are obsessive over their gender, as well as physical traits like height. Many autistic people tend to have "androgynous" mental qualities (sensitivity in autistic boys, lower empathy in autistic girls), and those people could be perceiving their brain difference as simply having the brain of the opposite gender. There are also a lot of overlaps between the childhoods of autistic kids and closeted trans kids. Very rarely do successful, popular kids end up identifying as trans. Both autistic and trans males tend to have mostly [[gal-pal]]s, because men tend to be rowdy and overly judgmental.

The combination of autogynephilia and autism may lead men like Chris to take it upon themselves to hop onto the trans bandwagon. Narcissism is another huge motivator. In our society, women get more attention, so some attention-seeking autogynephiles wish to be women to get that attention. Social media has made the problem even worse: women get more followers, likes, and positive comments than men. Chris's "transition" could be partially motivated by a desire to reverse his negative image.

Still, that's not to say that an autistic person can't truly be transgender, or that Chris's dysphoria is caused by autism. At the end of the day, only a trained therapist or psychiatrist, who has a one-on-one session with Chris, will be able to tell whether or not Chris has gender dysphoria.

It is believed by some that Chris's racist tendencies can be traced at least partially to his Southern [[USA|U.S.]] heritage. However, certain other factors seem to imply that the rest of his worldview on race comes from stereotypes depicted by popular culture. In some cases, however, Chris seems to be completely unfamiliar with even the stereotypes.

His racism probably comes from several sources: his parental upbringing, television, [[naïve]]té, and complete ignorance of everything that isn't him.

==Blacks==

In the [[Sonichu (comic)|comics]], Chris portrays [[Punchy Sonichu]] as a [[CWC Fighter|kung fu]] master with [[Wikipedia:Epicanthic fold|slanty eyes]], raised in a dojo. When a fan criticized this stereotyping, Chris claimed that Punchy was "NOT of Asian origin".<ref>[[Mailbag 6]]</ref> Outside of the comic, Chris also misattributes the origin of kung fu to Japan, when in actuality it comes from [[China]]. He does a racist impression of a Chinese person, and claims Japanese and Chinese people sound the same.<ref>[[BlueSpike PSN Chat 3.5]]</ref> In a [[Katie Bay E-mails|leaked series of e-mails]], it is shown that Chris simply does not seem to know that China and Japan are not the same, as he calls the Japanese account Chinese, failing to realize that they are separate countries with different languages, writing systems and currencies.

In his real-life dealings, Chris seems to have a positive or at least a neutral view toward Asians. He has stated that he would not exclude Asian women from his [[Love Quest]], and at one point [[Emily Date Conversation Transcript#Eating Spaghetti (36:49 - 38:54)|believed Emily to be part-Asian]]. However, he also said that meeting her was like having a [[Sailor Moon|''Pretty Girl Sailor Moon'']] character leap out of his television; a real Asian woman probably wouldn't be pleased to be imagined as animu wank fodder. It is also possible that Chris's view of "white" is simply "a person who isn't black".

In the [[Captain's Log, Stardate April 28th, 2009]], Chris presents us [[Chris and remorse|sincere apologies]] for having scared a small Chinese girl that [[Ivy]] tutored in art. The child, known only as '''Ching Chong''' (程鍾 ''Chéng Zhong''), is now traumatized due to her witnessing [[April 16 Fetish Vids|a video]] of Chris drinking his own [[semen|"navy"]] while innocently browsing [[Encyclopedia Dramatica]]. Chris never made a follow-up on the girl and never asked why her name was a known racial slur towards ethnic Asian communities. Chris also never questioned how a young child could make it all the way to the Christian Weston Chandler pages on Encyclopedia Dramatica without encountering something else as scarring, if not more so along the way. In the [[Wedding Comic]], Ching Chong is seen [[List of Sonichu characters#Ching Chong|as a flower girl]].

==Native Americans==

As stated in the main article, despite claiming to have at least one [[Ancient leader of the Cherokee Clan|Cherokee ancestor]], Chris is completely ignorant of Native American culture. However, unlike other minorities, Chris's opinions and representation of Native Americans are a misguided expression of "pride" for his "heritage".

In [[Sonichu 2|''Sonichu'' #2]]: [[Sonichu 2#Episode 7: Sonichu in "Anchuent Prophecy"|Episode 7]], Chris tries to tie in his "[[Cherokian]]" heritage with ''Sonichu'' lore. He depicts [[Wikipedia:Cherokee|Cherokee]] characters in his work as white-skinned and blue-eyed, and wearing Ancient Roman-style armor ([[Wikipedia:Joseph Smith|Joseph Smith]] would be proud). The [[Wasabi Clan]] unsurprisingly also bear no resemblance to Native Americans.

Chris has also embodied his ignorance of Native American culture in a physical form. For a brief time, Chris blurred his gender roles and began to collect and customize ''[[My Little Pony]]'' dolls. One of the dolls he crafted was the infamous "Cheroki-Chan", a Native American pony. While there is nothing overtly racist about this abomination, it is probably not how Native Americans want to be represented. In the end Cheroki-Chan is just another Mary Sue for Chris, and pales in comparison to Chris's most infamous portrayal of Native Americans.

In a shocking display of ignorance, Chris attempted to emulate what he perceives as "Native American culture" in a [[War Paint Video]]. In this video Chris wears water-washable paint (and a "[[muscle bra]]") and wields a plastic gun in an attempt to frighten trolls into submission. True Cherokee wore vests most of the time, and there is little evidence to suggest they owned muscle bras. They also notably did not go to war with toy guns, but instead with bows and arrows, which Chris [[I AM STRONG|lacks the strength]] to use.

In a Facebook post, Chris announced that the prostitute whom he hired to be his virgin-taker was part Cherokee, a fact from which he seemed to derive a disproportional amount of pleasure despite the vague implications of [[Crystal Weston Chandler|incest]].<ref>[[:File:Virginbreaker.png]]</ref> It is almost certain that the prostitute mentioned this because Chris did first, believing she would be interested.

Chris displays open antisemitic tendencies, many of which are believed by [[Trolls|Christorians]] to stem from his fondness for ''[[South Park]]''. A similarly [[Obesity|fat]], [[Monthly tugboat|privileged]], [[ego|entitled]] character in the show displays similar tendencies, and given Chris's tendency to copy mannerisms and things from even [[The Adventures of The American Rabbit|the shittiest things he's watched]], it's entirely possible that this is, in fact, the original source (Chris has shown before that he has never been able to comprehend the satire and pro-tolerance undertones of shows like ''South Park'' and ''Family Guy'', even using quotes from ''Family Guy'' in an attempt to justify his homophobia).

Regardless of where it comes from, Chris has a long history of veiled antisemitism. In "[[A Sonichu and Rosechu Christmas]]", Chris describes how Jews living in [[CWCville]] celebrate [[Wikipedia:Hanukkah|Hanukkah]]. On December 12, members of the CWCville Jewish diaspora set up "Menorah candles" (the "Haunaka" Menorah candelabrum has seven candles in it, while the traditional menorah used on Hanukkah in real life, called a ''Hanukkiah'', has nine) instead of Christmas Trees, with [[Wikipedia:dreidel|dreidels]] lying under them. Since the candle-related symbolism is very much present in real-life Hanukkah rituals, it's in good taste to give CWCville Jews anything candle-related as a gift. e.g., when Sonichu's daughter [[Cerah Rosey]] baked cookies for her friends, she decided to make her Jewish friend Kevin a candle-shaped one. Because Jews surely love to be distinguished from other people on any occasions based solely on their faith, and would take deep offense in receiving a normal nothing-special-shaped cookie as a gift! Also, because ''apparently'' Hanukkah is the only Jewish holiday, and so candles (especially single ones not on menorot) are super-important to Jews!

Cerah also makes the flavor vanilla, just in case poor Kevin had any nut/chocolate allergies. Instead of simply ''asking'' if he's allergic, she just assumes it. Because Jews are sickly Melvins with many allergies, you see.

On 25 [[November 2009]], Chris was presented in the [[Mailbag]] with a drawing of a fan made Jewish Sonichu character named Harvey Bulbastein. The character had a large nose and seemed to show a liking for money, evident by him holding a bill in his hand and being the owner of the CWCville bank.<ref>[[Mailbag 3#Jewish stereotypes]]</ref> Chris thanked the mailer for sending him the drawing and said he would consider incorporating the character into his comics, suggesting that the anti-Semitic tone evident in the drawing went over Chris's head. On 18 [[February 2009]], while conversing with [[Julie]], Chris was asked by her to imitate a Jewish person. Chris decided to imitate [[wikipedia:Mort Goldman|Mort Goldman]],<ref>[[BlueSpike PSN Chat 3.5#Geography, Father Talk (00:05:55)]]</ref> a stereotypical Jewish character from ''[[Family Guy]]''.

Near the beginning of Chris's [[Michael Snyder is ColdHearted and Mean|latest]] (unsuccessful) attempt to be unbanned from the [[The GAMe PLACe]], he casually pointed out that Michael Snyder was probably Jewish, using his last name as a point of reference ("Snyder" is a very common German last name, meaning "to cut"). Of course with Chris being the [[slow-in-the-minds|idiot]] he is, it ended with him angrily calling Snyder a Jew. Given the use of the word as an insult, and Chris using it in context with other words denoting a type of sin it shows just how tolerant he is of other religions. In a later video ([[Greene County Conspiracy|100 2178]]), Chris appears to restrain himself from calling Snyder a "greedy Jew".

If Chris's antisemitism was veiled before, it becomes extremely apparent in an email he sent to [[Katie Bay E-mails 2|Katie Bay while impersonating Samantha Thaddeus]]. While talking about Michael Snyder, he refers to him as a "son of a bitch Jew" and a "pigheaded, stubborn Jew".

Chris finally apologized for insulting Michael on 31 [[March 2018]], after a [[CWC Ancestry|23andMe test]] confirmed that he himself has Ashkenazi ancestry.

==Hispanics==

Aside from his rather tenuous grasp on the [[Spanish]] language, Chris has created a somewhat racist caricature in the form of [[List of cards from The Wall of Originals|Espanolic]]. It's a Grass-type [[Pokémon]] that resembles an anthropomorphized [[Wikipedia:Sombrero|sombrero]] in front of what appears to be the flag of [[Wikipedia:Flag of Bolivia|Bolivia]] or [[Wikipedia:Flag of Ghana|Ghana]], and its main attack is confusing its enemies with its "strange language". Its evolved form, Vegaton, has an attack called "[[Wikipedia:Spanish fly|Spanish Fly]]", that puts its enemies to sleep.

Hilariously enough, [[Nintendo]] would later create similar Pokémon named Lombre and Ludicolo, which, despite being obvious stereotypes, were handled far more tactfully than Chris could hope to do.

So far, the only Hispanic character in the comics is [[Heather Iglesias]], the [[Homos|lesbian]] nanny of [[Sonichu and Rosechu's children]], and then Chris's <s>self-cest</s> children. Chris is probably trying to be inclusive here, but he isn't creative or intelligent enough to think of anything besides a stereotypical occupation for Hispanic women. It also does not help her sentences are random mixes of Spanish and English – and no, not by throwing in a random word or two of Spanish into her sentences, but switching from English phrases to Spanish midway in her sentences (which appear to be Google-Translated).

It may also be notable that oftentimes, Chris refers to Hispanic people as being "Spanish". While not totally inaccurate, the word "Spanish" is usually reserved for people actually from Spain, whereas "Hispanic" is used for peoples from countries that predominantly speak Spanish (a good comparison would be referring to people from the USA as "English").

Chris has shown in the past a willingness to [[Joshua Martinez|befriend]] and [[Lori Lopez|date]] Hispanics.

==Other white ethnicities/cultures==
Chris has not shown outright malevolence towards other white cultures, but is often offensively ignorant of their customs and nations. In [[Tito Got No Luck Against We Brits, Irish and Scots!]], Chris plays an Irish song while wearing a kilt and pretending to be Scottish, then mentions a [[Wikipedia:Shillelagh_(club)|shillelagh]]. His interactions with [[PandaHalo]] revealed that he knew almost nothing about Australia or Australians, climactically thinking Panda had died in the [[Wikipedia:Black_Saturday_bushfires|Black Saturday fires]] which happened almost a thousand kilometres from where she claimed to live. He holds the bizarre notion that [[Leonard Bearstein]] misinterpreted his name because he was British (certainly told to him by his parents, as he was too young to think that way).

[[BlueSpike#Julie|Julie]] claimed to be from a [[Molvanîa|fictional country]] in Eastern Europe, as did her brother [[BlueSpike#Max|Max]]. Chris hardly asked any questions about this non-existent country, nor did he (or Bob) question the fact that both Julie and Max spoke with American accents. There are of course many other relevant cultures and ethnicities, but owing to Chris's total failure to understand abstract descriptions of places he hasn't been to physically, he is either unaware of or indifferent to their existence.

==Parental influence==

Given that his father [[Bob Chandler]] grew up in the southern [[United States of America|United States]] before the civil rights movement and [[Prank_calls#Call_Bobby_Chandler|has claimed to have acquaintances in the Ku Klux Klan activity growing up]], perhaps he had some racial prejudices that were passed on to Chris. In a [[Prank_calls#Call_Bobby_Chandler|2010 prank call]], Bob said ''"I’ve seen crosses burning, fella. I've seen 'em. And you don’t wanna see it."'' Of course, he was being constantly bothered at by prank callers, and may have just made comments to intimidate them into stop calling him. Chris claims he got a [[Barack Obama|slightly racist joke]] from Bob.

[[Barbara Chandler|Barb]] has not been publicly observed to hold racist opinions, but, as with so many subjects, seems to have done nothing to correct Chris's opinions about it, meaning she is at least guilty of being passive about racism. It is possible that she may have some prejudices not revealed to the public - the Michael Snyder anti-Jew paranoia, for instance, was very unlikely to have been abstractly contrived by Chris, and Barb was an enthused participant.

Also, both Bob and Barb graduated from racially segregated high schools (and in Bob's case, a racially segregated college), suggesting that they experienced racism head-on during their childhoods. Although this does not necessarily mean that they were racists during their younger years, they do seem to have ludicrous hillbillyish ideas about foreign cultures, such as believing and telling Chris that Leonard Bearstein misinterpreted his name because he was English (even though Christopher is an English name), and Bob being unfazed by a [[Julie|purported Eastern European]] speaking English fluently with an American accent. In the same vein, they have both expressed [[Tomboys and Tomgirls of Virginia|anti-LGBT sentiments]], a prejudice usually accompanied by racism. Also, Chris himself is very racist, and he frankly had to learn it from somewhere.

==Chris's ethnic background==
Influenced by his parent's claims, Chris has long asserted that he is of primarily [[Daniel Weston|English]] descent, with some [[Cherokian Clan|Cherokee]] heritage on Bob's side. However, in March 2018 Chris posted the results of a DNA test from 23andMe to determine his ancestry<ref>[[March 2018 social media posts#Apology to jewish people]]</ref>, which showed that he was of ''100% European'' genetic background, with slightly over half of this being British and most of the rest from across northwestern Europe. While these results are certainly not completely accurate, it is unlikely that any legitimate DNA test would fail to detect ''any'' Native American genetic background in someone who is even 1/16 or 1/32 (as Chris has claimed at various points) Cherokee.

The test also indicated that Chris had less than 0.1% Ashkenazi ("ash-KEN-azi") Jewish ancestry. Bizarrely, despite this being the smallest amount that the test considered worth reporting (equivalent to less than a single Jewish ancestor ten generations ago), Chris was fascinated by this result and declared that he was "Fully Observant of [his] Jewish ancestry". This discovery [[Chris and his ego|about himself]] also led Chris to apologize for his [[Michael Snyder|past anti-Semitic remarks]]. However, he also felt the need to publicly declare that he did not intend to convert to the [[Chris and religion#Judaism|Jewish faith]].

Even more strangely, Chris later commented that "[his] report links [his] Ancestry to [[Niggos|Africa]]", despite the fact that the actual report says that he has zero African ancestry. Of course, all humans can technically trace their ancestry back to Africa in prehistoric times, but this is probably beyond [[Random-access humor|Chris's wit]]. Chris may have arrived at this conclusion from his 0.3% Iberian ancestry; [[wikipedia:Iberian Peninsula|Iberia]] is the region of Europe comprised of [[Spanish|Spain]] and Portugal, which he likely [[Honor roll|confused]] with the African country of [[wikipedia:Liberia|Liberia]].

==Chris and stereotypes==
Chris's views of cultures besides Southern white Christians can also be traced to the television he watches. The typical [[Adult Swim]] cartoon includes gratuitous use of stereotype-based humor. Chris takes [[Don't Trust Any Homos Over There|''The Boondocks'']]' satire of black stereotypes at face value. He also portrays nearly every person of African descent that appears in ''Sonichu'' with bald heads and either [[wikipedia:Golliwogg|round, bulging eyes]] or glasses that resemble such. Finally, he does an impression of the stereotypical black accent, which he apparently confuses with the Jamaican accent, in [[Mumble 4]].

His exposure to anime fuels his misguided views on East Asians. Asians, in his views, [[Excel Saga|excel at]] [[random-access humor]] and [[Punchy Sonichu|martial arts]].

Chris, despite claiming [[Cherokian Clan|Cherokee]] ancestry, doesn't seem to know what a Native American even looks like, as he portrays the [[Ancient leader of the Cherokee Clan]] as an overtly European person wearing Greco-Roman garb. He also tramples all over their actual rituals and culture simply to implement the [[Anchuent Prophecy]] into his comic. Chris most likely has no idea what kind of rituals took place in Native American culture. If he did, he would know that some tribes slit their [[duck|cocks]] to [[Chris and religion|please their gods]].

Chris does not want to be considered a racist. He claims to respect blacks as equals, saying that in CWCville "they can even vote", but at best he merely tolerates their existence so long as they stay away from him. Or if they can [[Reggie Fils-Aimé|help him get his inane and idiotic video game made]]. Also of note, every single black person in ''Sonichu'' is depicted as a villain, a criminal or otherwise undesirable. However, he does genuinely like two black people: [[My big 18th party (story)|Kenan & Kel]].

He did mention more than once that the reason he doesn't want black girls (but any other race is okay) is because he thinks God told him that his future daughter Crystal must be white, too. In an [[IRC (17 December 2008)|IRC]], Chris said he has no problem with dating an Asian. Later, in [[Mailbag 35]], he wrote he would date "Asian, Native or Hispanic women, as well as women of all other countries" (except the ones being black).

Realistically, Chris's racism doesn't stem from white supremacy, or anything cerebral - it's simply a phobia of people and cultures he doesn't understand. Like most things in his life, [[Chris and reality|Chris has no real knowledge and bases everything off what he's seen on TV]], so Chris's perception of minorities is only what the TV shows him, since encountering them in real life is something that rarely occurs.

An [[CWCRockin4Way.jpg|image]] leaked on 26 [[September 2009]] showing Chris having sex with three young ladies, including an African American woman. In the [[Captain's Log, Stardate October 10th, 2009|Captain's Log of 10 October 2009]], Chris clarified that the woman with whom he's performing sexual intercourse is "Half And Half" (mixed ancestry). This proves to us that, even if he's ready to touch the [[china|genitals]] of a black woman, he is unable to imagine the sexual intercourse with someone not sharing white ancestry. In fact, there's evidence that [[Crystal Weston Chandler (sister)|shared ancestry may be a turn-on for Chris.]]

It seems that the futility of his [[Love Quest]] has lead Chris to lower his ridiculously high standards even further, as he did with fat chicks (which he dropped for [[Sarah Jackson]]), and red heads (as he did with [[Ivy]]).

If anyone had any misconceptions that Chris had evolved into some sort of post-racial autistic, they should be aware that he ended [[Sonichu Day]] by calling Tito a "nigger" in "[[Chris Drops the N-Bomb]]" and in the [[Surfshack Tito E-mails]], making him an official racist. (The repercussions of this event included [[Jack Thaddeus]] removing his ads from CWCipedia and [[Mao]] taking over the site for a short time, leading to a massive amount of vandalism.) He later performed [[Song for Jackie.MOV|a song in ''blackface'']] for his sweetheart [[Jackie]]. {{clear}}

In the new pages of [[Sonichu 11|''Sonichu'' #11]] which were uploaded in 2015 [[Blake]] is mistaken as black, being wished a "happy Kwanza, brother" from an African American, and goes on an angry rant about how his skin in not "sunburn color", he is black because of a mutation. Keep in mind that 2015 is a year in which Chris became more openly "supportive" towards the LGBT community (but not necessarily supportive to race minorities). Given this, it is not unreasonable to assume that Chris is still racist towards black people.

In [[Sonichu 12|''Sonichu'' #12]], Heather once again makes an appearance, switching from English to Spanish randomly throughout conversations – saying "tres", but then saying "two" in the exact same sentence. Her sentences also make absolutely no sense, compared to Chris's previous writing. In one sentence, she says "Russel y Cynthia, me le amo". "Me le amo" seems to translate to either "I love him", or "I love you", later saying "they love their mama con sus corizones". Not only does Chris misspell "corazones", that sentence seems to translate to "they love their mom with your hearts".

Altogether, her sentence appears to be talking about how his offspring got away from her at the festival and the children love the colors. She mentions how Chris is there with his family and how she loves the kids, but they love their "mother" (Chris) dearly, and how she does her best for the kids, ending with a poor translation of "it's okay, I love them".

Whether this poor speech was intentional or Chris thought it would be interesting to have a "bilingual" character isn't known.

However, certain other factors seem to imply that the rest of his worldview on race comes from stereotypes depicted by popular culture. In some cases, however, Chris seems to be completely unfamiliar with even the stereotypes.

In the [[Sonichu (comic)|comics]], Chris portrays [[Punchy Sonichu]] as a [[CWC Fighter|kung fu]] master with [[Wikipedia:Epicanthic fold|slanty eyes]], raised in a dojo. When a fan criticized this stereotyping, Chris claimed that Punchy was "NOT of Asian origin".<ref>[[Mailbag 6]]</ref> Outside of the comic, Chris also misattributes the origin of kung fu to Japan, when in actuality it comes from [[China]]. He does a racist impression of a Chinese person, and claims Japanese and Chinese people sound the same.<ref>[[BlueSpike PSN Chat 3.5]]</ref> In a [[Katie Bay E-mails|leaked series of e-mails]], it is shown that Chris simply does not seem to know that China and Japan are not the same, as he calls the Japanese account Chinese, failing to realize that they are separate countries with different languages, writing systems and currencies.

In his real-life dealings, Chris seems to have a positive or at least a neutral view toward Asians. He has stated that he would not exclude Asian women from his [[Love Quest]], and at one point [[Emily Date Conversation Transcript#Eating Spaghetti (36:49 - 38:54)|believed Emily to be part-Asian]]. However, he also said that meeting her was like having a [[Sailor Moon|''Pretty Girl Sailor Moon'']] character leap out of his television; a real Asian woman probably wouldn't be pleased to be imagined as animu wank fodder. It is also possible that Chris's view of "white" is simply "a person who isn't black".

In the [[Captain's Log, Stardate April 28th, 2009]], Chris presents us [[Chris and remorse|sincere apologies]] for having scared a small Chinese girl that [[Ivy]] tutored in art. The child, known only as '''Ching Chong''' (程鍾 ''Chéng Zhong''), is now traumatized due to her witnessing [[April 16 Fetish Vids|a video]] of Chris drinking his own [[semen|"navy"]] while innocently browsing [[Encyclopedia Dramatica]]. Chris never made a follow-up on the girl and never asked why her name was a known racial slur towards ethnic Asian communities. Chris also never questioned how a young child could make it all the way to the Christian Weston Chandler pages on Encyclopedia Dramatica without encountering something else as scarring, if not more so along the way. In the [[Wedding Comic]], Ching Chong is seen [[List of Sonichu characters#Ching Chong|as a flower girl]].

==Native Americans==

As stated in the main article, despite claiming to have at least one [[Ancient leader of the Cherokee Clan|Cherokee ancestor]], Chris is completely ignorant of Native American culture. However, unlike other minorities, Chris's opinions and representation of Native Americans are a misguided expression of "pride" for his "heritage".

In [[Sonichu 2|''Sonichu'' #2]]: [[Sonichu 2#Episode 7: Sonichu in "Anchuent Prophecy"|Episode 7]], Chris tries to tie in his "[[Cherokian]]" heritage with ''Sonichu'' lore. He depicts [[Wikipedia:Cherokee|Cherokee]] characters in his work as white-skinned and blue-eyed, and wearing Ancient Roman-style armor ([[Wikipedia:Joseph Smith|Joseph Smith]] would be proud). The [[Wasabi Clan]] unsurprisingly also bear no resemblance to Native Americans.

Chris has also embodied his ignorance of Native American culture in a physical form. For a brief time, Chris blurred his gender roles and began to collect and customize ''[[My Little Pony]]'' dolls. One of the dolls he crafted was the infamous "Cheroki-Chan", a Native American pony. While there is nothing overtly racist about this abomination, it is probably not how Native Americans want to be represented. In the end Cheroki-Chan is just another Mary Sue for Chris, and pales in comparison to Chris's most infamous portrayal of Native Americans.

In a shocking display of ignorance, Chris attempted to emulate what he perceives as "Native American culture" in a [[War Paint Video]]. In this video Chris wears water-washable paint (and a "[[muscle bra]]") and wields a plastic gun in an attempt to frighten trolls into submission. True Cherokee wore vests most of the time, and there is little evidence to suggest they owned muscle bras. They also notably did not go to war with toy guns, but instead with bows and arrows, which Chris [[I AM STRONG|lacks the strength]] to use.

In a Facebook post, Chris announced that the prostitute whom he hired to be his virgin-taker was part Cherokee, a fact from which he seemed to derive a disproportional amount of pleasure despite the vague implications of [[Crystal Weston Chandler|incest]].<ref>[[:File:Virginbreaker.png]]</ref> It is almost certain that the prostitute mentioned this because Chris did first, believing she would be interested.

Chris displays open antisemitic tendencies, many of which are believed by [[Trolls|Christorians]] to stem from his fondness for ''[[South Park]]''. A similarly [[Obesity|fat]], [[Monthly tugboat|privileged]], [[ego|entitled]] character in the show displays similar tendencies, and given Chris's tendency to copy mannerisms and things from even [[The Adventures of The American Rabbit|the shittiest things he's watched]], it's entirely possible that this is, in fact, the original source (Chris has shown before that he has never been able to comprehend the satire and pro-tolerance undertones of shows like ''South Park'' and ''Family Guy'', even using quotes from ''Family Guy'' in an attempt to justify his homophobia).

Regardless of where it comes from, Chris has a long history of veiled antisemitism. In "[[A Sonichu and Rosechu Christmas]]", Chris describes how Jews living in [[CWCville]] celebrate [[Wikipedia:Hanukkah|Hanukkah]]. On December 12, members of the CWCville Jewish diaspora set up "Menorah candles" (the "Haunaka" Menorah candelabrum has seven candles in it, while the traditional menorah used on Hanukkah in real life, called a ''Hanukkiah'', has nine) instead of Christmas Trees, with [[Wikipedia:dreidel|dreidels]] lying under them. Since the candle-related symbolism is very much present in real-life Hanukkah rituals, it's in good taste to give CWCville Jews anything candle-related as a gift. e.g., when Sonichu's daughter [[Cerah Rosey]] baked cookies for her friends, she decided to make her Jewish friend Kevin a candle-shaped one. Because Jews surely love to be distinguished from other people on any occasions based solely on their faith, and would take deep offense in receiving a normal nothing-special-shaped cookie as a gift! Also, because ''apparently'' Hanukkah is the only Jewish holiday, and so candles (especially single ones not on menorot) are super-important to Jews!

Cerah also makes the flavor vanilla, just in case poor Kevin had any nut/chocolate allergies. Instead of simply ''asking'' if he's allergic, she just assumes it. Because Jews are sickly Melvins with many allergies, you see.

On 25 [[November 2009]], Chris was presented in the [[Mailbag]] with a drawing of a fan made Jewish Sonichu character named Harvey Bulbastein. The character had a large nose and seemed to show a liking for money, evident by him holding a bill in his hand and being the owner of the CWCville bank.<ref>[[Mailbag 3#Jewish stereotypes]]</ref> Chris thanked the mailer for sending him the drawing and said he would consider incorporating the character into his comics, suggesting that the anti-Semitic tone evident in the drawing went over Chris's head. On 18 [[February 2009]], while conversing with [[Julie]], Chris was asked by her to imitate a Jewish person. Chris decided to imitate [[wikipedia:Mort Goldman|Mort Goldman]],<ref>[[BlueSpike PSN Chat 3.5#Geography, Father Talk (00:05:55)]]</ref> a stereotypical Jewish character from ''[[Family Guy]]''.

Near the beginning of Chris's [[Michael Snyder is ColdHearted and Mean|latest]] (unsuccessful) attempt to be unbanned from the [[The GAMe PLACe]], he casually pointed out that Michael Snyder was probably Jewish, using his last name as a point of reference ("Snyder" is a very common German last name, meaning "to cut"). Of course with Chris being the [[slow-in-the-minds|idiot]] he is, it ended with him angrily calling Snyder a Jew. Given the use of the word as an insult, and Chris using it in context with other words denoting a type of sin it shows just how tolerant he is of other religions. In a later video ([[Greene County Conspiracy|100 2178]]), Chris appears to restrain himself from calling Snyder a "greedy Jew".

If Chris's antisemitism was veiled before, it becomes extremely apparent in an email he sent to [[Katie Bay E-mails 2|Katie Bay while impersonating Samantha Thaddeus]]. While talking about Michael Snyder, he refers to him as a "son of a bitch Jew" and a "pigheaded, stubborn Jew".

Chris finally apologized for insulting Michael on 31 [[March 2018]], after a [[23andMe test|CWC Ancestry]] confirmed that he himself has Ashkenazi ancestry.

==Hispanics==

Aside from his rather tenuous grasp on the [[Spanish]] language, Chris has created a somewhat racist caricature in the form of [[List of cards from The Wall of Originals|Espanolic]]. It's a Grass-type [[Pokémon]] that resembles an anthropomorphized [[Wikipedia:Sombrero|sombrero]] in front of what appears to be the flag of [[Wikipedia:Flag of Bolivia|Bolivia]] or [[Wikipedia:Flag of Ghana|Ghana]], and its main attack is confusing its enemies with its "strange language". Its evolved form, Vegaton, has an attack called "[[Wikipedia:Spanish fly|Spanish Fly]]", that puts its enemies to sleep.

Hilariously enough, [[Nintendo]] would later create similar Pokémon named Lombre and Ludicolo, which, despite being obvious stereotypes, were handled far more tactfully than Chris could hope to do.

So far, the only Hispanic character in the comics is [[Heather Iglesias]], the [[Homos|lesbian]] nanny of [[Sonichu and Rosechu's children]], and then Chris's <s>self-cest</s> children. Chris is probably trying to be inclusive here, but he isn't creative or intelligent enough to think of anything besides a stereotypical occupation for Hispanic women. It also does not help her sentences are random mixes of Spanish and English – and no, not by throwing in a random word or two of Spanish into her sentences, but switching from English phrases to Spanish midway in her sentences (which appear to be Google-Translated).

It may also be notable that oftentimes, Chris refers to Hispanic people as being "Spanish". While not totally inaccurate, the word "Spanish" is usually reserved for people actually from Spain, whereas "Hispanic" is used for peoples from countries that predominantly speak Spanish (a good comparison would be referring to people from the USA as "English").

Chris has shown in the past a willingness to [[Joshua Martinez|befriend]] and [[Lori Lopez|date]] Hispanics.

==Other white ethnicities/cultures==
Chris has not shown outright malevolence towards other white cultures, but is often offensively ignorant of their customs and nations. In [[Tito Got No Luck Against We Brits, Irish and Scots!]], Chris plays an Irish song while wearing a kilt and pretending to be Scottish, then mentions a [[Wikipedia:Shillelagh_(club)|shillelagh]]. His interactions with [[PandaHalo]] revealed that he knew almost nothing about Australia or Australians, climactically thinking Panda had died in the [[Wikipedia:Black_Saturday_bushfires|Black Saturday fires]] which happened almost a thousand kilometres from where she claimed to live. He holds the bizarre notion that [[Leonard Bearstein]] misinterpreted his name because he was British (certainly told to him by his parents, as he was too young to think that way).

[[BlueSpike#Julie|Julie]] claimed to be from a [[Molvanîa|fictional country]] in Eastern Europe, as did her brother [[BlueSpike#Max|Max]]. Chris hardly asked any questions about this non-existent country, nor did he (or Bob) question the fact that both Julie and Max spoke with American accents. There are of course many other relevant cultures and ethnicities, but owing to Chris's total failure to understand abstract descriptions of places he hasn't been to physically, he is either unaware of or indifferent to their existence.

==Parental influence==

Given that his father [[Bob Chandler]] grew up in the southern [[United States of America|United States]] before the civil rights movement and [[Prank_calls#Call_Bobby_Chandler|has claimed to have acquaintances in the Ku Klux Klan activity growing up]], perhaps he had some racial prejudices that were passed on to Chris. In a [[Prank_calls#Call_Bobby_Chandler|2010 prank call]], Bob said ''"I’ve seen crosses burning, fella. I've seen 'em. And you don’t wanna see it."'' Of course, he was being constantly bothered at by prank callers, and may have just made comments to intimidate them into stop calling him. Chris claims he got a [[Barack Obama|slightly racist joke]] from Bob.

[[Barbara Chandler|Barb]] has not been publicly observed to hold racist opinions, but, as with so many subjects, seems to have done nothing to correct Chris's opinions about it, meaning she is at least guilty of being passive about racism. It is possible that she may have some prejudices not revealed to the public - the Michael Snyder anti-Jew paranoia, for instance, was very unlikely to have been abstractly contrived by Chris, and Barb was an enthused participant.

Also, both Bob and Barb graduated from racially segregated high schools (and in Bob's case, a racially segregated college), suggesting that they experienced racism head-on during their childhoods. Although this does not necessarily mean that they were racists during their younger years, they do seem to have ludicrous hillbillyish ideas about foreign cultures, such as believing and telling Chris that Leonard Bearstein misinterpreted his name because he was English (even though Christopher is an English name), and Bob being unfazed by a [[Julie|purported Eastern European]] speaking English fluently with an American accent. In the same vein, they have both expressed [[Tomboys and Tomgirls of Virginia|anti-LGBT sentiments]], a prejudice usually accompanied by racism. Also, Chris himself is very racist, and he frankly had to learn it from somewhere.

==Chris's ethnic background==
Influenced by his parent's claims, Chris has long asserted that he is of primarily [[Daniel Weston|English]] descent, with some [[Cherokian Clan|Cherokee]] heritage on Bob's side. However, in March 2018 Chris posted the results of a DNA test from 23andMe to determine his ancestry<ref>[[March 2018 social media posts#Apology to jewish people]]</ref>, which showed that he was of ''100% European'' genetic background, with slightly over half of this being British and most of the rest from across northwestern Europe. While these results are certainly not completely accurate, it is unlikely that any legitimate DNA test would fail to detect ''any'' Native American genetic background in someone who is even 1/16 or 1/32 (as Chris has claimed at various points) Cherokee.

The test also indicated that Chris had less than 0.1% Ashkenazi ("ash-KEN-azi") Jewish ancestry. Bizarrely, despite this being the smallest amount that the test considered worth reporting (equivalent to less than a single Jewish ancestor ten generations ago), Chris was fascinated by this result and declared that he was "Fully Observant of [his] Jewish ancestry". This discovery [[Chris and his ego|about himself]] also led Chris to apologize for his [[Michael Snyder|past anti-Semitic remarks]]. However, he also felt the need to publicly declare that he did not intend to convert to the [[Chris and religion#Judaism|Jewish faith]].

Even more strangely, Chris later commented that "[his] report links [his] Ancestry to [[Niggos|Africa]]", despite the fact that the actual report says that he has zero African ancestry. Of course, all humans can technically trace their ancestry back to Africa in prehistoric times, but this is probably beyond [[Random-access humor|Chris's wit]]. Chris may have arrived at this conclusion from his 0.3% Iberian ancestry; [[wikipedia:Iberian Peninsula|Iberia]] is the region of Europe comprised of [[Spanish|Spain]] and Portugal, which he likely [[Honor roll|confused]] with the African country of [[wikipedia:Liberia|Liberia]].

==Chris and stereotypes==
Chris's views of cultures besides Southern white Christians can also be traced to the television he watches. The typical [[Adult Swim]] cartoon includes gratuitous use of stereotype-based humor. Chris takes [[Don't Trust Any Homos Over There|''The Boondocks'']]' satire of black stereotypes at face value. He also portrays nearly every person of African descent that appears in ''Sonichu'' with bald heads and either [[wikipedia:Golliwogg|round, bulging eyes]] or glasses that resemble such. Finally, he does an impression of the stereotypical black accent, which he apparently confuses with the Jamaican accent, in [[Mumble 4]].

His exposure to anime fuels his misguided views on East Asians. Asians, in his views, [[Excel Saga|excel at]] [[random-access humor]] and [[Punchy Sonichu|martial arts]].

Chris, despite claiming [[Cherokian Clan|Cherokee]] ancestry, doesn't seem to know what a Native American even looks like, as he portrays the [[Ancient leader of the Cherokee Clan]] as an overtly European person wearing Greco-Roman garb. He also tramples all over their actual rituals and culture simply to implement the [[Anchuent Prophecy]] into his comic. Chris most likely has no idea what kind of rituals took place in Native American culture. If he did, he would know that some tribes slit their [[duck|cocks]] to [[Chris and religion|please their gods]].

Chris does not want to be considered a racist. He claims to respect blacks as equals, saying that in CWCville "they can even vote", but at best he merely tolerates their existence so long as they stay away from him. Or if they can [[Reggie Fils-Aimé|help him get his inane and idiotic video game made]]. Also of note, every single black person in ''Sonichu'' is depicted as a villain, a criminal or otherwise undesirable. However, he does genuinely like two black people: [[My big 18th party (story)|Kenan & Kel]].

He did mention more than once that the reason he doesn't want black girls (but any other race is okay) is because he thinks God told him that his future daughter Crystal must be white, too. In an [[IRC (17 December 2008)|IRC]], Chris said he has no problem with dating an Asian. Later, in [[Mailbag 35]], he wrote he would date "Asian, Native or Hispanic women, as well as women of all other countries" (except the ones being black).

Realistically, Chris's racism doesn't stem from white supremacy, or anything cerebral - it's simply a phobia of people and cultures he doesn't understand. Like most things in his life, [[Chris and reality|Chris has no real knowledge and bases everything off what he's seen on TV]], so Chris's perception of minorities is only what the TV shows him, since encountering them in real life is something that rarely occurs.

An [[CWCRockin4Way.jpg|image]] leaked on 26 [[September 2009]] showing Chris having sex with three young ladies, including an African American woman. In the [[Captain's Log, Stardate October 10th, 2009|Captain's Log of 10 October 2009]], Chris clarified that the woman with whom he's performing sexual intercourse is "Half And Half" (mixed ancestry). This proves to us that, even if he's ready to touch the [[china|genitals]] of a black woman, he is unable to imagine the sexual intercourse with someone not sharing white ancestry. In fact, there's evidence that [[Crystal Weston Chandler (sister)|shared ancestry may be a turn-on for Chris.]]

It seems that the futility of his [[Love Quest]] has lead Chris to lower his ridiculously high standards even further, as he did with fat chicks (which he dropped for [[Sarah Jackson]]), and red heads (as he did with [[Ivy]]).

If anyone had any misconceptions that Chris had evolved into some sort of post-racial autistic, they should be aware that he ended [[Sonichu Day]] by calling Tito a "nigger" in "[[Chris Drops the N-Bomb]]" and in the [[Surfshack Tito E-mails]], making him an official racist. (The repercussions of this event included [[Jack Thaddeus]] removing his ads from CWCipedia and [[Mao]] taking over the site for a short time, leading to a massive amount of vandalism.) He later performed [[Song for Jackie.MOV|a song in ''blackface'']] for his sweetheart [[Jackie]]. {{clear}}

In the new pages of [[Sonichu 11|''Sonichu'' #11]] which were uploaded in 2015 [[Blake]] is mistaken as black, being wished a "happy Kwanza, brother" from an African American, and goes on an angry rant about how his skin in not "sunburn color", he is black because of a mutation. Keep in mind that 2015 is a year in which Chris became more openly "supportive" towards the LGBT community (but not necessarily supportive to race minorities). Given this, it is not unreasonable to assume that Chris is still racist towards black people.

In [[Sonichu 12|''Sonichu'' #12]], Heather once again makes an appearance, switching from English to Spanish randomly throughout conversations – saying "tres", but then saying "two" in the exact same sentence. Her sentences also make absolutely no sense, compared to Chris's previous writing. In one sentence, she says "Russel y Cynthia, me le amo". "Me le amo" seems to translate to either "I love him", or "I love you", later saying "they love their mama con sus corizones". Not only does Chris misspell "corazones", that sentence seems to translate to "they love their mom with your hearts".

Altogether, her sentence appears to be talking about how his offspring got away from her at the festival and the children love the colors. She mentions how Chris is there with his family and how she loves the kids, but they love their "mother" (Chris) dearly, and how she does her best for the kids, ending with a poor translation of "it's okay, I love them".

Whether this poor speech was intentional or Chris thought it would be interesting to have a "bilingual" character isn't known.

Chris would probably not tolerate human versions of these characters being anything but white.
