'''CWC's Second Message''' (a.k.a. '''Madman Rising''') is the [[video]] that introduced [[the internet]] to the world of [[Chris]]. It was posted to [[YouTube]] on 3 [[August 2008]].

After months of trying to either ignore or edit his [[Encyclopedia Dramatica]] page, Chris [[Chris and anger|explodes with fury]]. He blames ED for causing his fallout with [[Megan Schroeder]], although anyone with a brain could tell that it was his fault for drawing [[She Came for CWC|pornography involving her]] and sharing it to the world. Ironically, in trying to blame ED for the demise of his friendship with her, Chris unwittingly subjects Megan to further public humiliation by revealing that she is the subject of the pornographic drawing in question, rather than Chris's fictional sister [[Crystal Weston Chandler (sister)|Crystal]], who most trolls had until this point believed to be the woman in the drawing. Chris also begins threatening to withhold the release of [[Sonichu 7|''Sonichu'' #7]] and all further comics unless the ED page is removed. Naturally, [[trolls]] were terrified that they would never see the conclusion to the absorbing story that Chris had created, and rushed to meet his demands.

This is a beloved classic in the CWChronology, and it was in this video that Chris unintentionally coined the term "[[pedofork]]". It is also one of the most prominent examples of Chris's use of the CWC-isms 'Dykes' and 'China' to refer to his alleged heterosexuality.

Throughout the video there are several noticeable skips and jump cuts; it's unclear whether these are a result of technical issues, or whether Chris edited down the video from something longer.

He prefaced its release by uploading six older videos of his accomplishments to his YouTube channel during the few days previous, in the hope that they might better frame his plea for understanding. Christian assumes that the ED contributors have simply misunderstood him and his work, and, consequently, attempts to re-introduce himself in order to start over on the right foot. Oddly, Chris loudly inhales between his sentences a lot in this video.

My mother and [[Bob Chandler|my father]] are both really nice, old-fashioned-type people who not only gave the birth—[[Chris and sex|gave me birth]] at their ages… which my mother is 66, currently, and my father is currently 80. They both just turned that way in the last couple of months. And, uh, I was born in [[1980s#1982|1982]]. They gave me the birth… then, and, uh, anyway, it was so nice of—for them to give me the, uh, birth during the early 1980s.

I was diagnosed with high-functional autism, and I lived a, uh, somewhat rough life. I've had an [[abusive babysitter]] at one time, [''inhales sharply''] and some of the teachers and principals of [[Nathanael Greene Elementary School]]… that I was attending in later years (about, uh, late 1980s, early [[1990s]]) [''inhales sharply''] They abused me—[[Kick the Autistic|they abused me by pinning me to the ground]] with, uh, their ha—with, uh, holding my wrists and my ankles, pinning me down to the ground and—and audio-taping my cries and shouts. But, anyway, my mother and my father, they both fought the court system, the Greene County court system, which, uh, they were not a very nice bunch of people, [[Chris and English|very not]]. Hands down. But, anyway, we eventually moved to Chesterfield County for a nice, better school system. And one teacher in particular, of [[Providence Middle School]], who I would like to give much kudos to, who w—who was—who, uh, let—who not—who not only, uh, let me—who was a good—good, uh, person to go by dur—uh, during my mainstreaming, and she was also the, uh, also a good leader in my learning to cope. I wish to give kudos to [[Virginia Jeanine Sanford|Mrs. Virginia Jeanine Sanford]], of Providence Middle School, in Chesterfield County, whose picture is, uh, in the trailer of my [[Christian Weston Chandler...Yep, I'm on TV :)|"CWC on TV" DVD]], which is also on the—the [[YouTube]].

And, after being on [[honor roll]] throughout, uh, Providence Middle and Manchester High, Sonichu was first thought up in my senior year at Ma— [''jump cut''] …along with a nice bunch of teachers backing me up, and my circle of [[gal pal]]s (I mostly had gal—mostly had that circle during my high school years), anyway, after all that, I graduated. I graduated. Then, we moved back to, uh, our old home in Ruckersville, where I attended [[Piedmont Virginia Community College]], and, eventually, I graduated from there, too, with a degree in Computer-Aided Drafting and Design, also known as "CAD/CAM".

And, uh, during my high school years, I was used to being surrounded by… girls… in my circle, and after having to, uh, leave them I felt ''ever so lonesome''. And, after the [[stress]] from some of the people—people at [[Private Villa of Corrupted Citizens|PVCC]], as well as my mental block [''mimes punching himself in the head''] of autism, it became hard from me to approach gir—approach the girls like I used to. On 11 September 2008, after [[nudes]] of his were leaked to the internet by a [[Trolls#Lordsillynipples|troll who deceived him]], Chris sent to his Reverend Elizabeth Foss an email in which he told her about his foolish acts and asked her to forgive him. Five days later, Elizabeth replied and referred Chris to the church's new pastoral counselor, Rocky Shoemaker,<ref>[[Chris emails 2008#September]]</ref> beginning her role in Chris's life.

In the [[BlueSpike Skype Logs 6]], Chris mentioned that he asked Rocky to help him find volunteer work that would pay him, and also wouldn't cause him to lose his [[Social Security]].

Rocky recommended to Chris the children's book ''[[How to Talk to Girls]]'' after he asked for help on the [[Love Quest]].<ref>[[CWC with Bible - Leviticus]]</ref>

In [[March 2009]], Rocky started interacting with Chris more. She encouraged him to leave the internet and stop making videos, leading to the video [[YouTube Finale]].<ref name="Ivy">[[Ivy Q&A]]</ref>

[[Joshua Martinez]], a.k.a. [[Vanessa Hudgens]], tried to swindle some money out of Chris by trading him a [[PSP]]. After that, Shoemaker made [[Bob Chandler|Bob]] and [[Barbara Chandler|Barb]] contact the cops. The agreement was that the cops would only be involved in the Joshua matters, as they were dealing with the trolls on their own terms. However, Rocky blindsided Bob and Barb and brought up [[Ivy]] and other trolls with the cops. She even had them try to find Ivy and even managed to get a background check on her and came up with nothing.<ref name="Ivy"></ref>

In a [[IRC (23 July 2009)|July 2009 IRC Chat]], Chris, believing that he had entered the chat incognito (although the trolls had in fact instantly seen through his false identity), suggested that the trolls force him to [[Chris and sex|rape]] Rocky. Rocky herself is aware that Chris said this. The fact that she did not kick him out of the church on the spot speaks volumes about her patience.

According to Chris, it was Rocky and her husband who bailed the Chandlers out of jail following the events of [[28 October 2011]].<ref>[[28 October 2011#Chris's story]]</ref> Rocky also helped put the Chandlers in touch with their defense attorney, Mr. [[Rob Bell]], a fellow Methodist. Well-meaning this intention might have been, she unwittingly instigated the [[Financhu Crisis]], as this exactly was what would lead to the Chandlers blowing off their inheritance money from the late Bob on hiring him, even though the case was so cut-and-dry that not even a lawyer of his caliber had any chance of winning it they would have been better off hiring a state-provided attorney would have been free and yielded the same result (pleading guilty).

In [[December 2011]], a troll posing as court-appointed psychiatrist "Dr. Perron" called Rocky asking for information on Chris. While she initially was skeptical, repeatedly saying that she wanted authorization from the court, she eventually became convinced and gave new information about Chris.<ref>[[Rocky Shoemaker call]]</ref> This included the supposed infestation problem in [[14 Branchland Court]] that played a part in [[Bob Chandler|Bob]]'s death.

According to [[Marvin]], Rocky was the cameraperson in [[CWC Lego Manchester High School Oct 18 2013]].

In 2018, during the aftermath of the [[Idea Guys]] saga, the [[Guard Dogs]] advised Chris to talk to Rocky about the situation, hoping it would help expedite an official investigation into the alleged extortion by the Idea Guys. However, upon talking to Chris, Rocky advised him to seek [[therapy]] in lieu of escorting him to the police to file a report.<ref>[[The Chris-Chan Extortionists]]</ref>

Rocky retired from the church in summer 2018.<ref>According to [https://web.archive.org/web/20180415000000*/http://wesleymumc.org/church-staff archives of the church website], Rocky was listed as a staff member in June 2018, but no longer in July.</ref>
