Around early [[November 2017]], an anonymous troll acting as Chris's "'''idea guy'''" (also known as the "'''[[4-cent_garbage.com|/pol/]]troll'''") decided to coerce Chris, through unknown means, into adding politically incorrect themes and false rumors into his comics, to show how gullible he is and how little he understands about the world. Chris's interactions with this idea guy started when he/she informed Chris that the characters from Hyperdimension Neptunia were invading CWCville.



==The ideas==
Below is a summary of ideas that are suspected to be the work of the Idea Guy.

===[[Hyperdimension Neptunia]]===
Throughout November, Chris made several posts,<ref>[[November 2017 Facebook posts]]</ref> some accompanied by drawings, on being possessed by ''Hyperdimension Neptunia'' goddess Uzume Tennouboshi and an invasion of CWCville by enemy forces from the ''Neptunia'' video games.

Halfway through the month, observers began speculating that a new troll had appeared, as Chris's posts began to include references designed to go over his head. On 14 November, he wrote that [[Silvana]] had been captured by a Russian billionaire and posted a photo of the soldier who would be rescuing her, recognized by spectators as part of the Remove Kebab internet meme. The same day, Chris recorded [[Freestyle Dance With Me, For Our World!]] while wearing a tinfoil hat to prevent "the man" from reading his mind.

===Nazi [[CWCville]]===
The next day, Chris described in detail how Silvana had been saved in a military conflict titled [[Operation BARBarossa]], thinking the name was meant to be a clever nod towards [[Barb|his mother]]. The post was littered with references to World War II, particularly on actions by Nazi Germany, such as "prison camps full of large ovens" built on CWCville soil.

Days later, Chris expanded on the new CWCville lore,<ref>[[November 2017 tweets#Updates on prison camps & reality]]</ref> giving the names of the prison camps. He also warned that CWCville's supply of U.S. money had been tainted with a virus and encouraged travelers to use "Cwcsmarts" instead - a concept borrowed from video game ''Tom Clancy's The Division''. Later, he mentioned that CWCville's ZIP code had been changed from its previous Mexican designation to one in Germany.

Two weeks after the BARBarossa post, Chris took offense to speculation that he had fallen in with the Nazi crowd by insisting that the ideas had come from [[Count Graduon]].

===CWCville elections===
On 26 November, Chris broke his longstanding policy barring elections in CWCville by announcing that both the Mayor and Chief of Police positions were up for election.<ref>[[November 2017 tweets#CWCville mayoral election]]</ref> Both had candidates including notorious social and political figures, as well as [[Ian Brandon Anderson]] and [[Bob]] McKendrick.

===Changes to the ''Sonichu'' canon===
[[Sonichu 15|''Sonichu'' #15]], a book Chris had wanted to use for a modern retelling of [[Sonichu 0|''Sonichu'' #0]] prior to his known interactions with the Idea Guy, has significant alterations to the canon of the comics. Sonichu's new birthday is given as April 20th - AKA 4/20, or [[tobacky|marijuana]] reference "420 blaze it," and is a date which coincides with Adolf Hitler's birthday and the anniversary of the Columbine massacre.

A distraught Chris posted to Facebook and Twitter in early December, saying that [[Rosechu]] had informed him that she was actually transgender, and had a penis up until the events of [[Sonichu 8|''Sonichu'' #8]], at which point she underwent gender-reassignment surgery to become "Fully Woman" and enable her to give birth to her children.<ref>[[December 2017 Facebook posts#Is Rosechu a transwoman?]]</ref>

Chris, agitated about the prospect of altering his canon in such a significant way, put up a poll to ask fans whether Rosechu should stay trans or be retconned back to his original concept of her being female from birth, pointing out that Rosechu being trans would hurt him and that the other option would hurt her. This reaction was seen by spectators as trans-shaming on Chris's part towards Rosechu, who he believes to be real in another dimension. Funny how Chris wants to be accepted as trans, and made a [[Robee Sonichu|ten year old]] trans-female in his comic, and forced Rosechu and the gang to fully accept and love Chris for coming out - [[Chris and Hypocrisy|but refuses to believe Rosechu could possibly be trans.]]

Halfway through December, Chris exclaimed that [[Silvana]] had been lost in the past, but that there was a way to bring her back if his followers would "BELIEVE In Silvana Rosechu, and her Fullest Existence in Cwcville, Virginia, USA, Of All Timelines, Worlds and Dimensions!"<ref>[[December 2017 Facebook posts#Silvana lost in the past]]</ref>.

===Other===
20 November - Chris was tricked into writing "I am carrying a penis", among other things, in Japanese.<ref>[[November 2017 Patreon posts#Chris writes about dicks, thinks it's his signature]]</ref>

7 December - He posted some edgy lore on [[Pokémon]], lamenting that they are kept in suspended animation with "NO Simulated Fields made from Virtual Reality! NO Living Room Apartment Setting! NOTHING! Suspended Animation in Dark."<ref>[[December 2017 Facebook posts#What it's like in a Pokeball]]</ref>.

11 December - Chris performs a "[[Cherokean Chant]]", which involves copying the Squatting Slav meme while reciting quotes from ''S.T.A.L.K.E.R''.

'''The Classic''' is a red and blue [[Chris and fashion|rugby shirt]] formerly worn by [[Christian Weston Chandler|Chris]] from at least before 20 [[December 2004]] to when he became a [[Tomgirl]], and it was seemingly lost in 2014 to the [[Destruction of Chris's House]].

It had survived at the bottom of a soaked and grimy garbage bag full of clothing. Prompted by the [[Financhu Crisis]], Chris went searching for it in [[April 2017]], hoping to sell it to a fan.

== History ==
The earliest known instance of Chris wearing the Classic is in the [[All I Want For Christmas Is a Pretty Girlfriend]] clip, filmed on 20 December 2004. The shirt made many more appearances between 2005 and 2009 - Chris wore it on 25 February 2007 during [[Christian Weston Chandler's FUTURE MESSAGE]], the first video he uploaded to YouTube.

The shirt made its last appearance of the classic Chris era on 23 [[November 2009]], when he filmed [[CWC Personal Sonichu Presentation]]. On 10 [[January 2014]], 14 Branchland Court was gutted by a fire - the shirt was thought lost by both Chris<ref>[[Autographed Photos]]</ref> and his fans until [[April 2017]], when it was found in a bag of laundry that was still damp from the water used to put the fire out.

Following the house fire and subsequent renovation, the Chandlers moved back into [[14 Branchland Court]]. Naturally, Barb insisted on bringing the hoard back into the house, even the portions ruined by the fire or the efforts to extinguish it. The laundry room became a dumping ground for "a mountain pile" of trash bags filled with water-damaged clothing.<ref name=found/>

The trash bags festered for ''three years''. In April 2017, when Chris sifted through them in his quest to find The Classic, the contents were laced with mold. Chris, being [[naive]], failed to realize the health risks.

After finding The Classic, and inspired by the successful sale of the [[Sonic Totem]] relic for $1,500 two weeks before, he listed the shirt on [[eBay]] for $12,000 minimum on 19 April 2017. He immediately snapped a photo of it, then posted it for the listing, not realizing that the mold growth evident in the picture would not help with sales. He later washed it and posted a new photo to eBay, replacing the original one.

Later, he recorded [[Live Game Stream - C-Log 04192017 - The Shirt]] to promote it, donning the shirt for the first time in years (having last worn it in 2009's [[CWC Personal Sonichu Presentation]]). Three days later, the auction ended at $25,100. The winning bidder did not pay.

Humorously, Chris fails to realize that $25,100 is a gross overestimate of how much money would be required to repair a piece of clothing, even those affected by water damage.

==Restoration effort==

Chris began an effort to restore the shirt on 29 April 2017. The shirt had sustained large tears as a result of neglect. He asked several professional tailors to repair it; however, they turned down the job as being too difficult<ref>[[Speed Sewing Announcement]]</ref>. Undeterred, Chris set out to fix it himself.

He recorded [[Speed Sewing Announcement|90 minutes]] of him sewing up the shirt and [[May 2017 tweets|posted several before-and-after photos to Twitter]].

A commentator on Kiwi Farms noted the issues with his project<ref>https://kiwifarms.net/threads/4-29-speed-sewing-announcment.30443/page-16#post-2236362</ref>:

*Incorrect type of needle
*Patches which are incompatible with the shirt
*Not taking measures to prevent frays or shrinkage
*Not applying the patching to the inside of the shirt

After "a few hours" of work, Chris declared his effort a "masterpiece" and said The Classic is "worth more" because of it<ref>[[2017 tweets#Repairing The Classic]]</ref>. At the time of that statement, he believed he had already made a sale on it for $25,100.

On 4 May, after five days of work, Chris completed the restoration<ref>[[May 2017 Facebook posts#The Classic, restored]]</ref>. He signed it using his trans-woman name.

He celebrated the job by wearing it in public.
