'''Surfshack Tito''' (also known as [[Calling Out|Don]]) is a mysterious [[troll]] who first emerged in early [[March 2010]]. His arrival was reminiscent of the rise of [[Jack Thaddeus]] in the summer of 2009. Like Jack, he first made his mark by hacking [[Chris]]' [[PS3|PlayStation Network]] accounts.

The nickname "Surfshack Tito" is a reference to the corpulent surf-shop owner from the [[Wikipedia: Nickelodeon| Nickelodeon]] kids' cartoon ''[[Wikipedia:Rocket Power|Rocket Power]]''. During the exchanges with Chris, most of them from Tito are ended with a Tito-styled word of wisdom. The choice to go with the name is most likely inspired by an infamous copypasta about Tito.

Based on Chris's insults towards Tito in the e-mails and videos, it was assumed that Chris believes that [[Chris and Reality|the actual Tito from ''Rocket Power'' is trolling him.]] However, the truth is that the image attached to an e-mail shows a photoshopped image of the Wallflower standing next to a [[niggo|really tall dark guy]]. The photo is left out of this article due to an agreement with [[the Wallflower]].

==Tito in Chris's videos==
Chris first addressed Tito in a [[Surfshack Tito (video)|video]] released on 2 March 2010. His comments were brief and cryptic. Chris merely referred to Tito by name, threatened him with doom in his nightmares, and delivered a [[Curse-ye-ha-me-ha#Execution_and_effect|Curse Shot]] attack.

Shortly afterward, [[Clyde Cash]] explained that Tito had hacked Chris's PSN account a few days prior, in late February. This revelation was accompanied by another info-dump concerning Chris's ongoing [[List of Chris's PSN game downloads|downloadable]] [[List of Chris's PSN video downloads|content]] spending spree.

A week later, trolls discovered the identity of [[the Wallflower]], throwing Chris into a flailing rage. Initially, Chris seemed to blame Clyde for the breakup of his latest one-sided relationship, but on 14 March 2010, he released a [[Tito Got No Luck Against We Brits, Irish and Scots!|video]] suggesting that he viewed Tito as the culprit. In that clip, he declares: "Tito. Listen to me, you son of a bitch. Your-your days are numbered." Threats involving a shillelagh and Chris's deadly [[pocket knife]] followed.

Tito apparently kept up the pressure on Chris through the next few days of March 2010. On 18 March, Chris released [[Chris Drops the N-Bomb|yet another threatening video]], in which he accused Tito of stealing the Wallflower from him, called him a "womanizing rapist" and a "[[Man in the Pickle Suit|pickle-suited]] [[nigger]]", and alluded to e-mails he had received from Tito (their contents unspecified, but Chris definitely didn't like them).

However, since the end of the Wallflower [[saga]], Surfshack Tito has slipped from Chris's consciousness and has not made any further appearances in Chris's videos. He is, however, an important figure behind the [[Fashion_Square_Mall#Chris_captured_on_video|August 2010 videotaped encounter of Chris at Fashion Square Mall]].

In August 2011, Chris returned after a hiatus from YouTube to [[Calling Out|announce]] that he had received documents which revealed Tito's real identity. Referring to him as Don, Chris demanded a public apology from Tito for [[Wikipedia:PlayStation_Network_outage|hacking the PSN]], and $1,000 among other things.

==E-mails with Chris==

During mid-March 2010, Tito exchanged several e-mails with Chris, baiting him with regard to the revelation of the Wallflower's identity and other subjects. Their conversations reveal that Chris was aware of his gal-pal's interest in gay slash fiction, and was apparently willing to look past it (the quest for [[china]] trumping all other considerations). The e-mails also feature Chris employing the word "nigger" with [[Chris and race|great enthusiasm]]. Note that Surfshack Tito is actually Hawaiian, not a [[niggo]].

Between late August and early September 2010, [[Clyde and Tito PS3 E-mails|Tito resurfaced]] in Chris's failed plot to scam him and Clyde Cash. Their e-mails reveal Chris's intentions behind destroying his PS3 and waiting at the mall; he sought a bounty of $9,001 towards his PS3's destruction and very poorly attempted to cheat Tito and Clyde out of the money.

== CWCki captioning side project ==

There's a lot of talented people on the CWCki and since not a lot is going on with Chris, we can use this time to really do something terrific. One thing I think we can work on is assisting our sister project, [[TheCWCvilleLibrary]] with captioning. I was able to make one for [[MEOW]] and it turned out fine.

Captioning videos isn't too difficult, I used [http://accessify.com/tools-and-wizards/accessibility-tools/easy-youtube-caption-creator/ this] though I hear [http://captiontube.appspot.com/ this] is a good resource as well. You can use CWCki transcripts for the captions and otherwise it's not too difficult.

Helping out with this means that the hearing impaired can now experience the fail that is Chris, in addition to people who want to watch Chris's videos without hearing Chris's voice. This can also lead to translating Chris's videos into other languages.

Participation means getting your name mention in the video description and you'll get a pretty cool user box (TBD). The more you contribute, the cooler user boxes you'll get.

Send your captions (upload them to MediaFire or some site like that) and message them to Abuelita on TheCWCvilleLibrary. Be sure you mention your CWCki name so you can get credit and so I can get you a sweet ass userbox.

Well, we should look a little further into this before jumping to conclusions. It's pretty easy to hack a Myspace account, and if it's one owned by Chris, then it's even easier to take. Not only that, his Myspace has been inactive for a pretty long time. The message sounds like something Chris would say, but this can be imitated as we know.

This is the first time since he left that there's been any sort of major signs from him on the internet, if he is trying to get back into his internet crawl spaces, he's certainly trying to be a little more discreet about it, and posting this as an update on the CWCki might scare him away if he see's it(since he checks the CWCki), so perhaps a little causion is needed. However, as it is already established that Chris can't project himself in other people's shoes or see things from other people's perspectives, Chris was only able to find the antics of these characters to be entertaining and fun from his view as a viewer of the show, and thus he identified these situations themselves to be fun and entertaining, and that made him wish to be in these types of situations himself. You see, Chris obviously sees [[Chris and reality|television (and fantasy worlds in general) and real life as interchangeable (or rather '''THE SAME''')]] he probably wishes his own life to be just like the TV shows, since he could identify certain positive emotions with situations in a TV show, so he wants to experience these types of situations in his own life, thinking that will bring out the same positive emotions, failing to understand that viewing situations, scripted out on television, is not even remotely the same as actually experiencing similar situations. So since he sees that two slobs who do nothing and just act like idiots can get into fun and entertaining emotions, he figures that if he acts the same way, he might find himself in similarly fun and entertaining situations. So perhaps this caused him to subconsciously shape his own habits and lifestyle to be similar to these two characters.

Then again, maybe he just had [[Monthly Tugboat|too much money to spend]], heard that the show was funny as shit, bought some DVDs and thought the show was funny, by taking the simplest jokes at face value.

The point of the cameo was to mock Chris's memories of creating [[Bionic the Hedgehog]] in 1996. You see, Chris obviously sees [[Chris and reality|television (and fantasy worlds in general) and real life as interchangeable (or rather '''THE SAME''')]] he probably wishes his own life to be just like the TV shows, since he could identify certain positive emotions with situations in a TV show, so he wants to experience these types of situations in his own life, thinking that will bring out the same positive emotions, failing to understand that viewing situations, scripted out on television, is not even remotely the same as actually experiencing similar situations. So since he sees that two slobs who do nothing and just act like idiots can get into fun and entertaining emotions, he figures that if he acts the same way, he might find himself in similarly fun and entertaining situations. So perhaps this caused him to subconsciously shape his own habits and lifestyle to be similar to these two characters.

Then again, maybe he just had [[Monthly Tugboat|too much money to spend]], heard that the show was funny as shit, bought some DVDs and thought the show was funny, by taking the simplest jokes at face value.

Whatever Chris' reasons for having seen the show were, apparently he thought that a scene from [http://www.tvrage.com/Beavis_and_Butthead/episodes/19219 this episode] of Beavis and Butthead fucking around with a locker was so funny that he decided to <s>steal</s> parody it in [[Sonichu 7]]. The point of the cameo was to mock Chris's memories of creating [[Bionic the Hedgehog]] in 1996. Chris recalls Bionic emerging from a locker in his imagination, so this leads him to the "[[Random-access humor|hilarious]]" idea of having Beavis and Butt-head slam the empty locker shut, just like in their own show.

I have now implemented the infobox into the cwcki itself. I've looked over a couple video pages now, and looks like it works just fine. The only, sort of kinda problem is that, since the info section was designed like a simple table, the thing likes to be inconsistent with the width of the info sections, based on the width (or some other variable?) of the content in the info section. The result of this, is that some some of the infoboxes look fine (exhibit A), but in others, the grey info area stretches across half of the goddamn infobox (exhibit B). Its kind of an annoyance, but I don't think it looks too horrible, until a more permanent solution can be found (if required). So, now we see the general reaction. If people hate it, its pretty simple to revert the infobox to its original state. If people like it, I'll add 2.0 versions for all the other infoboxes, leave you with that to enjoy and then crawl back to the same dark corner from which I reappeared to bring you this gift. I don't like the design of the old infoboxes anymore, so here's something a bit more Web 2.0-y. The template itself is also specifically designed so you can copy-paste it into the old infobox template page, and it will work just like that, replacing all old infoboxes. If you guys like what you see, feel free to use this. I just dont wanna make any dramatic changes to the CWCki myself, without the backing on any of the higher-ups.

I have now implemented the infobox into the cwcki itself. I've looked over a couple video pages now, and looks like it works just fine. The only, sort of kinda problem is that, since the info section was designed like a simple table, the thing likes to be inconsistent with the width of the info sections, based on the width (or some other variable?) of the content in the info section. The result of this, is that some some of the infoboxes look fine (exhibit A), but in others, the grey info area stretches across half of the goddamn infobox (exhibit B). Its kind of an annoyance, but I don't think it looks too horrible, until a more permanent solution can be found (if required). So, now we see the general reaction. If people hate it, its pretty simple to revert the infobox to its original state. If people like it, I'll add 2.0 versions for all the other infoboxes, leave you with that to enjoy and then crawl back to the same dark corner from which I reappeared to bring you this gift. Oh and I'm considering making the template parameters lowercase, as is common with templates. For your consideration, I leave [[Template:Infobox2.0Test|this updated version]] of the old video infobox I created for you guys so long ago. I don't like the design of the old infoboxes anymore, so here's something a bit more Web 2.0-y. The template itself is also specifically designed so you can copy-paste it into the old infobox template page, and it will work just like that, replacing all old infoboxes. If you guys like what you see, feel free to use this. I just dont wanna make any dramatic changes to the CWCki myself, without the backing on any of the higher-ups.
