Thanks for taking care of that PVCC article transcript. When I found that image among the many random pictures on the [[Sonichu]] page a couple weeks ago, I re-posted it on the [[Animal Crossing Documentary]] where it really belonged. I meant to write up a transcript of it soon afterward, but that must have slipped my mind.

The one concern that I've always had with transcribing that article on that page is that the entire first half is about Sonichu, and it has nothing to do with Chris's documentary. The closest it gets to a "power" is its ability to appear randomly and vanish just as quickly. I can vouch for Edward on this; back on the asperpedia forums he didn't want to discuss his issues with cogs, so it's not like he's starting anything. Not all templates are there to make the page they appear on cleaner in appearance. We should be using the welcome template to save ourselves having to copy the long body of the welcome message, by substituting. Substituting a template is easy, just add '''subst:''' after then opening {{ and the code from the template automagically gets placed on the page. The welcome template is too wordy at present, and could do with shortening. When substituting the welcome message appears to make a user's talk page messy, it has become too long.

It's also important to remember the purpose of the welcome message is to welcome new users. It looks like we put a lot less effort in to welcoming someone if they can see we simply linked them to a template. *Very good. There's not really much we can expand upon the Savannah article, at least for some time, so it could be incorporated into another article, and if we find more we can split it off. I'd say we can even do the same thing for David Alan Chandler and Carol Susanne Chandler. There's not much Chris has really said about David, to be honest, except he's an optometrist and that Carol was a "math whiz" so yeah, they could just go into one page now that I think about it. I'd still leave Corrinna's page as a separate page, given the fact Corrinna unintentionally trolled Chris and Chris went on about how sad he was about her especially with Julie, along with Cole since he's notable even aside from Chris and the fact we have significant correspondence from him that brings to light Bob and Barb's true nature. Of course, Bob and Barb would still have their own respective pages and such. Right now, out of 26 different relics, a total of 10 of them have the suffix "of fail". I think that the 'of fail' tag on the end of many of the items is a bit stale. Not only does it make them all seem generic and without personality, but 'of fail' just seems kind of juvenile. I'd like to start a vote to change the majority of the names to give them more flair, so they stand out more. Talked about it in IRC a few nights ago, and the consensus seemed to agree. One of the names thrown around was to change "Plush Boobs of Fail" into something along the lines of "Plush Boobs of Repressed Sexuality." Give them names that indicate their use, descriptors that tell you about the item before you even read about it. "Pokewalker of Sloth" or "Pokewalker of Inactivity". Even if the 'of fail' tag is supposed to indicate that Chris created it himself, there's no reason for the Plush Boobs and Sailor Moon Poster to have it included. Let me know what you think.
