This got me thinking.... if he's still an Adult Swim watcher, what do you think Chrissy thinks of Xavier : Renegade Angel? That entire show is based on the completely inaccurate "random = funny" formula. Is the inanity of this excerpt meant to be ironic? It has nothing to do with what Chris calls "random access humor". The "random" in RAM refers to the fact that a randomly ordered access of N bytes in the memory module will not be faster than choosing the same number of bytes in a nonrandom manner. To illustrate, pages of a book are sequential access, but a book with each page tabbed is random access.

At times I think Chris's obsession with randomness (that's really quite predictable) deserves greater examination in light of his autism and (lack of) storytelling skills. For instance: Chris's "Random Access Humor," as observed, all comes from existing media; ComiChris could return "at any random time or place" even though it's obvious he'll pop out just when the plot needs him. Autistics have a propensity for order, and it shows in that his "randomness" is really quite predictable. Perhaps his fondness for "Random" humor stems from his difficulty with/inability to pick up all but the most blatant pop culture references when it comes to humor; because he doesn't make the connections that most people make when it comes to comedy, subtlety and the like are wholly above him. Alright, Champthom, I know you're the Mod here, and that you've been in quite a... Mod mood lately, but I still insist on keeping this reference. Reasons:
# Although the rhyme is obscure nowadays, it's said to be more popular in the Jim Crow times. Bob could've known it alright. Remember, he was the man who taught Chris the racist joke about Obama painting the White House black? This could be the same situation. So, the first reason is: ''There is a completely plausible explanation where Chris could know this rhyme from''.
# What's so implausible about Chris knowing obscure things, anyway? He's the guy who is a fan of "American Rabbit", for Slaweel's sake! So, the second reason: ''Chris is known for knowing and citing rather obscure things''.
# Google "yellow is mellow". It's used tons of times. Where did all those people get this phrase? My guess is: from that old rhyme. '''I may be wrong. The source for this phrase may be somewhere else.''' But if you delete this reference, it would look like Chris invented the phrase which is '''wrong''' in any case. Chris will sometimes "randomly" think of silly word plays that he thinks are absolute comedy gold (IT'S FUNNY BECAUSE "YELLOW" RHYMES WITH "MELLOW" ROFLMAO X 100000000). It's not very original but it's not like this is a uniquely Chris innovation. 

:People are proned to assume if Chris thinks of something, it must be ripped off. No, sometimes he gets original ideas but they tend to be not very original, not so much in a rip off sort of way but in a very bland anyone can think of that sort of way. Chris's sort of childish rhymes are things any five year old could think up of or just random words that sound funny. 

:I think it'd be interesting to discuss maybe here or maybe in "Chris and art" or somewhere this idea of cryptoamnesia or whatever it's called - apparently, there's some condition that explains why people might inadvertently plagiarize someone or something without realizing it. I think having something like "guessing" where Chris was inspired from is a bit like e-psychiatry - it's our opinions and not objective fact. It's very well possible that Chris could have noticed that "yellow" and "mellow" rhyme and thought it to be funny. Seriously, it's very well possible he independently discovered this - I mean, three economists managed to discover the theory of marginal value independently (Carl Menger, Leon Walras, and William Stanley Jevons all independently arouse to the concept of marginal utility within a few years time and John Bates Clark did so without realizing three guys already did it), why couldn't Chris notice two words rhyme and find it hilarious? It's very possible he heard this elsewhere. In any case, this is speculation and if that's the case, then the reader can try and decide for himself how Chris came about this without being steered into a possible explanation.

I guess we can ask Chris himself how he came to this but I'm guessing he'll say he "thought of it" but then again he probably says the same about the rest of these because they're RANDOM ACCESS.

Someone once pointed out on a talk page that there's no way Chris could have drawn that really shitty drawing of Sonichu at age 5 because Sonichu didn't come out until Chris was 9. Or how Rachmann believes that some Love Quest item was actually a pamphlet Chris might have made a mock up of. Point is, it's perfectly fine to discuss stuff, but I recommend starting small on the talk page if you have a long, drawn out argument like you did or something that is not-obvious (I recall having a disagreement with Llort over him assuming that "ANOZ AMULP..." was from Space Ghost Coast to Coast - turns out Chris watches ANYTHING on Adult Swim and I should have known better). You could be right but you could be wrong as well. '''Random-access humor''' is [[Chris]]'s terminology for his tendency to blurt out whatever random thought enters his mind, regardless of its relevance to a given situation. Normal human beings might describe this as "[[Wikipedia:Non sequitur|non sequitur]]." The "humor" part of the phrase stems from Christian's assumption that if he says something completely irrelevant and random that it is automatically funny, which is a common fallacy among nerds and retards. But to be fairly honest, this type of thing can be suffocatingly funny in the wee hours of the morning. At this moment, the strongest portrayal of Chris's random-access humor can be found in his [[CWCFlyingElephants]] video.

Ironically enough, Chris's random-access humor is often unoriginal. Jokes are mostly taken from [[Adult Swim]] shows, ''[[Monty Python's Flying Circus]]'', ''[[Family Guy]]'', or even shows like [[Wikipedia:Ed, Edd 'n Eddy|''Ed, Edd n Eddy'']] and [[Wikipedia:Samurai Pizza Cats|''Samurai Pizza Cats'']], making them completely out of context. This shows that, even when Chris doesn't have to make any sense, he still has a hard time coming up with original material. When Chris ''is'' original, it's mostly in the form of childish rhymes or making word-plays. This is due to Chris being a [[Autism papers|"somewhat concrete"]] thinker, having a tough time understanding abstract concepts (including humor). Because of his linear thinking, he has the tendency to take jokes literally (e.g. Bob told Chris a joke about Obama painting the White House black if he won the 2008 election).

The randomosity is also questionable in that the allegedly random jokes are also frequently repeated; Chris keeps ''re-telling'' the same jokes that weren't funny in the first try. (For example, if you are a confused foreigner who has no idea what "Nantucket" is, ''you will Google it soon.'') Chris has specifically stated he actually fears things that are beyond his control,<ref>[http://archive.cogsdev.org/cwcipedia/index.php?title=User_talk:DariaCamacho User talk:DariaCamacho]</ref> a fear which falls nicely in line with [[autism]].

Chris also uses the term "random-access memory", which is basically when he says something completely random without the intent of being funny. He tends to use these when a conversation is not going in a direction he wants it to and hopes that interjecting this other thought-line will briefly distract him from seeing what a failure he is.

However, the eyes seem to have been altered in [[Sonichu 10|''Sonichu'' #10]], where he looks like all the other Sonic recolors. Punchy is also a shitty [[Wikipedia:Knuckles the Echidna|Knuckles]] knockoff (note the spikes on his gloves/fists), which makes one wonder why he isn’t an "Electric Echidna Pokémon". He is a combination of 4 characters:

Punchy is also billed as a "master of [[Random-access humor|random-access humor]]" (which is to say he supposedly has the same shitty sense of humor as Chris), but he has not actually demonstrated this trait even once in the comics. It finally surfaced in a video, [[SonichuBabies]], over a decade after Chris created him -- much to the anticipation of no one. Punchy's Sonee egg lands in a [[Wikipedia:Dojo|Dōjō]], more specifically 'Nabe's Dojo-Shin', which roughly translates to 'pig's death-gym', where Master [[Excel-Saga|Nabe]] is teaching his student [[List_of_Sonichu_characters#Mypoe|Mypoe]] to fight. After hatching, Mypoe challenges Punchy, who is still in his infantile [[Sonee]] form. She rips his tail off and this angers him into evolving quickly. He uppercuts her so hard that she flies through the ceiling and into the sky, and presumably to the [[The Moon|Moon]]. He eventually falls off and crashes into a tree where he meets the other [[Chaotic Combo]] members. He compliments [[Angelica]] on her flowers, neglecting to point out her over-sized tits. This is likely the beginning of his infatuation with her. They all beat up Blake until his [[Jason Kendrick Howell|head is bleeding]] all over the grass.

While everyone is pretending to worry about [[Crystal_Weston_Chandler_(character)|Crystal]], Punchy thinks to himself “I’m missing my Samurai Pizza Cats.” When the girls start talking about [[Bionic the Hedgehog]]’s basketball abilities, [[Wild]] and Punchy act like jealous bitches. Punchy thinks women should be more impressed by his brute strength than Bionic’s athletic talent. When [[Patti]] remarks on how sweet Chris is, Punchy tells her what an ass-kisser she is.

Here, Punchy reveals his feelings for [[Angelica]] to Wild. He says he doesn’t know how to ask a girl out and is too afraid to make the first move. Wild then informs him that the [[CWCville]] University is offering a [[Dating Education]] course. This excites Punchy, who insists on signing up for it as soon as possible.

In this story, Punchy goes to the CWCville University to learn how to date. The teacher fixes Punchy up with [[Layla]], whom he falls in love with. [[Reginald Sneasel]] tries to sabotage their relationship, but fails. Using his totally awesome [[Prower|motorcycle with a sidecar]], he takes Layla on his first date to the classiest place in CWCville - [[McDonald's]].

Punchy, Wild, and Reginald Sneasel all get laid immediately after Dating Ed (probably on the [[third date]]). Punchy supposedly has a hangover at the beginning of this episode despite the fact that [[Alcohol|drinking]] was illegal in CWCville two seconds ago. Worth noting that in Virginia, being sober (which Layla was, since she didn't have such a hangover) and having sex with someone who's drunk counts as rape.

== Rove Quest ==

Punchy had a major hard-on for [[Angelica]], but then after meeting [[Layla]] he forgot all about her, probably realizing Angelica wasn't going to put out as quickly as Layla would. Turns out Punchy was wrong as Angelica is a dirty slut for Reginald Sneasel.

"[[Punchy and Layla's Dance In The Dark]]" reveals that either Layla likes it rough in the sack or Punchy gets off on smacking her around.
