Point is, Clyde likes to joke that I need to get transcribing [insert new Chris media here]. But in reality, there's a lot of hard working transcriptionists who manage to transcribe new videos within minutes of them being released. It's something that very much impresses me and what makes CWCki so damn great.

One of the goals should be to utilize such efforts towards completing a lot of unfinished transcripts and to allow for better collaboration on transcription projects.--[[User:Champthom|Champthom]] 18:07, 24 February 2010 (UTC)

Because I'd like to address that. I personally find it easier to read when we only color the speaker's name instead of his whole chunk of text. It's also easier to see the links that way.

::::*Key thing though should be 1) linking and 2) readability. Light green text on a white background is hard to read, dude. Yes, it's readable but it's not easy on the eyes. Furthermore, Chris as the same blue as links is kinda lame because then it's hard to see links and when I tell people to add links they bitch about "Well how are we suppose to see the links if Chris is dark blue?" There's nothing wrong with some color coding, my problem with this system is that it's putting aesthetics over wikiness and readability. The latter two should take precedence over the former. However, if a troll says something that needs an explanatory link, it'll look weird if, say, their text is green and all of a sudden there's a blue link. == Segmenting transcripts. ==

I think that we need to consider splitting transcripts into subsections whenever the audio goes on for longer than 30 minutes. Most of the Alec Benson Leary calls are pretty long, some of the mumble chats go on forever, and the Father call goes past the 2 hour mark. There are a couple of transcripts that do this, such as Emily date and Mumble 1. I'm going to try and add similar breaks to some of the other very long transcripts, probably starting with the longer ALB calls. == March is Mumble Month ==

If there is one major task on the CWCki, it's to finish transcribing unfinished transcriptions. Yes, it's not easy to transcribe Mumble chats and stuff. However, given that we were able to get a two hour [[Father Call]] transcribed within a day of it being released is no excuse for having nearly year old Mumble chats still unfinished. These provide gold in terms of information about Chris and until they're transcribed, they're not being fully utilized.

I recall someone being like "But Champthom, why don't we just leave the summaries since no one will want to read the whole transcript?" To that I say BULLSHIT. The problem with summaries is that they essentially reflect the opinion of what is important of whoever summarizes them. They're still good to have if people are really lazy but if someone wants to read the transcript, they should be able to do so so they can draw their own conclusions about the given chat.

So I declare March to be Mumble transcription month, with the goal being to transcribe the Mumble chats by the end of the month. First project with be finishing transcribing [[Mumble 2]]. Those who contribute will get a SUPER DUPER SPECIAL user box for their page, I swear.

I know it's not a Mumble, but the 90-minute audio recording of the [[Emily Date Conversation Transcript|Emily Date]] badly needs transcription help. Currently, only random segments are transcribed, covering about half of the full audio. There are still two holes in the middle (one 8 minutes long and one 40 minutes long) and a third hole near the end (only four minutes long). I'm much better at editing transcripts than I am at typing them up, so I'd appreciate it if someone else took the initiative on this one. :::Let's not get too excited, folks. Judging by that DPF video, it looks like YouTube's speech recognition software only manages about 20% accuracy, which is - needless to say - horrendous. What's worse: that video has better audio quality for the software to work from than do virtually all of Chris's videos and all of the leaked audio recordings. They require pretty clear diction even after you "train" them for a few months. Chris's speech impediments and stutters are going to throw any auto captioning into disarray. ==Summary==

Chris and Alec discuss the size and location of [[Asperpedia]] advertisements on the [[CWCipedia]]. Chris tries to dictate the content of Alec's [[Asperchu]] comics by telling him to tone down the amount of violence in the series. He also goes on to tell Alec to rename Asperchu's versions of the Chaotic Combo characters to the names seen in Sonichu 10.

Alec questions how Chris can hold a copyright on [[Sonichu]] when Sonichu is in fact a [[Pokemon]], a derivative of another creator's copyrighted work, after which Chris jumps to change the subject to avoid admitting that Alec has a point. (Chris similarly avoids or ignores the obvious truth about his "original" characters in other conversations with Alec.) Alec also confronts Chris's ill-will towards Asperchu and Alec himself by bringing up the pages of [[Sonichu 10]] where Chris drew his super-form breaking into Alec's house and destroying his website and computer. Chris retaliates by saying that Alec's killing of his fictional characters in Asperchu justifies his fantasies of committing destruction of property and theft. I changed some of the lines, I think I got that indistinct bit when Chris is talking about Asperchu's feelings. He says that Asperchu has adult attitudes that Alec gave him. Chris is acknowledging that Asperchu is an adult and exists in an world where he can have his own thoughts, who might be sensitive by his mental deficiencies (like Chris) and might not want a name associated with his special condition.

This is important to clear up because Chris-chan is REALLY REALLY self conscious about being considered a non-functioning member of society (sans any of the bullshit he's already done). '''Alec Benson Leary Phone Call 6''' is the sixth of the calls between Chris and Alec Benson Leary, which took place on 04 February 2010. As Alec notes several times, Chris is far too agreeable to Alec's conditions, and at times simply doesn't seem to be listening.

The end result the demands is the [[I am Alive|C-log of 5 February 2010]], in which Chris half-asses his way through most of Alec's requests.

As a result, the Cwckipedia is shut down from February 6th to February 12th. When it is brought back up, the Asperchu ads were made worse, just as Alec promised.

==Summary==

Alec spends much of the phone call dictating his list of demands to Chris and asking Chris to recite this list multiple times. Alec repeated tells Chris that if Chris meets all of his demands, the ads for the [[Asperchu|Asperpedia]] will be removed from the [[Cwcipedia]], bu if his list of demands are not met in full, his ads will get worse. All the while, Chris tries to rush the phone conversation, clearly not taking this shit seriously enough. Alec brushes upon the topic of the word [[naive]] and Chris shows yet again that he doesn't understand the meaning of the word. [[fail|He also believes that the phrase "well call me naive" is an invitation to call someone naive]]. Alec explains that it is a turn of phrase not to be taken into consideration. He gives Chris a hypothetical situation when someone says "just shoot me" and asks what Chris would do. [[Sonichu Special 4|Chris actually considers shooting someone in this case]]

Chris's ignorance is in fill swing here. Chris feels that attracting fans from another fandom is considered stealing, as if fans spontaneously generate out of nothing and the ones he has are his property and no one elses. Chris also stil has no idea how ad space works. Alec spends a great deal of time explaining to Chris how Sonichu characters are in violation of various [[Chris and copyright|copyrights]] and that if Chris tries to publish Sonichu, he will be sued by Nintendo, Hasbro, Sega, ect. He proposes to Chris that he must reboot Sonichu without all the [[Transformers]], all the [[Pokemon]], [[Family Guy|Meg Griffin]], and the other shit Chris stole. Chris says he will [[lie|take it into consideration]], but clearly will not as he seems adverse to the idea of rebooting Sonichu. Judging from Chris's history of [[White knight e-mails|rejecting good advise]], Chris will continue Sonichu in all it's copyright infringing glory.

Chris tried to weaseled his way out of meeting all of Alec's requests. He gave Mao a half-assed Forgiveness Blessing, killed off Simonla off-screen after Alec specifically asked for her to be killed on-screen, and admitted to not having an excuse for updating '''some days''', but that life gets in the way, even though Chris clearly doesn't have a life. He completely refused to mention that he had been troll to Alec and that Sonichu is a doomed franchise. Chris gave the most resistance to these ideas in the phone conversation. Chris also showed no sincerity and tried to rush though the video. Needless to say, Alec was far from pleased with Chris.

'''Alec Benson Leary Phone Call 6''' is the sixth of the calls between Chris and Alec Benson Leary, which took place on 04 February 2010. As Alec notes several times, Chris is far too agreeable to Alec's conditions, and at times simply doesn't seem to be listening.

The end result the demands is the [[I am Alive|C-log of 5 February 2010]], in which Chris half-asses his way through most of Alec's requests.

As a result, the Cwckipedia is shut down from February 6th to February 12th. When it is brought back up, the Asperchu ads were made worse, just as Alec promised.

==Summary==

Alec spends much of the phone call dictating his list of demands to Chris and asking Chris to recite this list multiple times. Alec repeated tells Chris that if Chris meets all of his demands, the ads for the [[Asperchu|Asperpedia]] will be removed from the [[Cwcipedia]], bu if his list of demands are not met in full, his ads will get worse. All the while, Chris tries to rush the phone conversation, clearly not taking this shit seriously enough. Alec brushes upon the topic of the word [[naive]] and Chris shows yet again that he doesn't understand the meaning of the word. [[fail|He also believes that the phrase "well call me naive" is an invitation to call someone naive]]. Alec explains that it is a turn of phrase not to be taken into consideration. He gives Chris a hypothetical situation when someone says "just shoot me" and asks what Chris would do. [[Sonichu Special 4|Chris actually considers shooting someone in this case]]

Chris's ignorance is in fill swing here. Chris feels that attracting fans from another fandom is considered stealing, as if fans spontaneously generate out of nothing and the ones he has are his property and no one elses. Chris also stil has no idea how ad space works. Alec spends a great deal of time explaining to Chris how Sonichu characters are in violation of various [[Chris and copyright|copyrights]] and that if Chris tries to publish Sonichu, he will be sued by Nintendo, Hasbro, Sega, ect. He proposes to Chris that he must reboot Sonichu without all the [[Transformers]], all the [[Pokemon]], [[Family Guy|Meg Griffin]], and the other shit Chris stole. Chris says he will [[lie|take it into consideration]], but clearly will not as he seems adverse to the idea of rebooting Sonichu. Judging from Chris's history of [[White knight e-mails|rejecting good advise]], Chris will continue Sonichu in all it's copyright infringing glory.

Chris tried to weaseled his way out of meeting all of Alec's requests. He gave Mao a half-assed Forgiveness Blessing, killed off Simonla off-screen after Alec specifically asked for her to be killed on-screen, and admitted to not having an excuse for updating '''some days''', but that life gets in the way, even though Chris clearly doesn't have a life. He completely refused to mention that he had been troll to Alec and that Sonichu is a doomed franchise. Chris gave the most resistance to these ideas in the phone conversation. Chris also showed no sincerity and tried to rush though the video. Needless to say, Alec was far from pleased with Chris.

'''Alec Benson Leary Phone Call 6''' is the sixth of the calls between Chris and Alec Benson Leary, which took place on 04 February 2010. As Alec notes several times, Chris is far too agreeable to Alec's conditions, and at times simply doesn't seem to be listening.

The end result the demands is the [[I am Alive|C-log of 5 February 2010]], in which Chris half-asses his way through most of Alec's requests.

As a result, the Cwckipedia is shut down from February 6th to February 12th. When it is brought back up, the Asperchu ads were made worse, just as Alec promised.

==Summary==

Alec spends much of the phone call dictating his list of demands to Chris and asking Chris to recite this list multiple times. Alec repeated tells Chris that if Chris meets all of his demands, the ads for the [[Asperchu|Asperpedia]] will be removed from the [[Cwcipedia]], bu if his list of demands are not met in full, his ads will get worse. All the while, Chris tries to rush the phone conversation, clearly not taking this shit seriously enough. Alec brushes upon the topic of the word [[naive]] and Chris shows yet again that he doesn't understand the meaning of the word. [[fail|He also believes that the phrase "well call me naive" is an invitation to call someone naive]]. Alec explains that it is a turn of phrase not to be taken into consideration. He gives Chris a hypothetical situation when someone says "just shoot me" and asks what Chris would do. [[Sonichu Special 4|Chris actually considers shooting someone in this case]]

Chris's ignorance is in fill swing here. Chris feels that attracting fans from another fandom is considered stealing, as if fans spontaneously generate out of nothing and the ones he has are his property and no one elses. Chris also stil has no idea how ad space works. Alec spends a great deal of time explaining to Chris how Sonichu characters are in violation of various [[Chris and copyright|copyrights]] and that if Chris tries to publish Sonichu, he will be sued by Nintendo, Hasbro, Sega, ect. He proposes to Chris that he must reboot Sonichu without all the [[Transformers]], all the [[Pokemon]], [[Family Guy|Meg Griffin]], and the other shit Chris stole. Chris says he will [[lie|take it into consideration]], but clearly will not as he seems adverse to the idea of rebooting Sonichu. Judging from Chris's history of [[White knight e-mails|rejecting good advise]], Chris will continue Sonichu in all it's copyright infringing glory.

Chris tried to weaseled his way out of meeting all of Alec's requests. He gave Mao a half-assed Forgiveness Blessing, killed off Simonla off-screen after Alec specifically asked for her to be killed on-screen, and admitted to not having an excuse for updating '''some days''', but that life gets in the way, even though Chris clearly doesn't have a life. He completely refused to mention that he had been troll to Alec and that Sonichu is a doomed franchise. Chris gave the most resistance to these ideas in the phone conversation. Chris also showed no sincerity and tried to rush though the video. Needless to say, Alec was far from pleased with Chris.
