Actual effects of reformatting
I don't have a PS3, so I'm kind of asking someone more knowledgeable to ramble about this in the article: How much did the reformatting actually affect Chris? I thought the worst that happened to him was that he lost his savegames and LBP/MN stuff he hadn't uploaded yet, and he could just re-download the purchases and the mod content he had uploaded to the servers. Another thing: What about the older HDs? Would he have had a chance to recover some of his stuff from there, or does the data-transfer process wipe the old stuff? (I don't see why it should do a crazy thing like that, but hey, consoles are weird sometimes.) --wwwwolf <span style="font-size:smaller;">(wake me when you need me)</span> 00:55, 31 August 2010 (PDT)
:Yes, purchased content could easily be redownloaded and anything he uploaded to the network would still be there.
lolWUT
The current revision of the article as I speak has this oddity:

<blockquote>"It was revealed through a series of e-mails that Chris had destroyed his beloved Life Upgrade in an attempt to cash in on a troll reward. However, to the surprise of none, he didn't think through this idea more, not even realizing that he had destroyed an item that could have netted him a lot more than the prize he sought."
</blockquote>

The PS3 and games cost Chris somewhere in the vicinity of $3500, a fact that is mentioned in a lot of places on this site. $3500 is just a little over half of the troll prize ($9001). Resale value for games is never a matter of making profit, it's about breaking even. You're not going to see $3500 again, especially not with a used PS3 and Chris's relatively small stack of used games. It's a miracle to make back your investment.

Even on eBay, you're only going to profit if you have the latest and greatest console during the first month of the launch and said console can't easily be found in stores. Even that has it's limits though usually only a couple hundred more than retail. The only way you can truly profit in the above-$5000 range is if you sell your whole game library (which obviously needs to be massive) or if you have a rarity like an RDI Halcyon prototype or a NeoGeo AES with a sizable stack of games.

I read the email, and nothing was mentioned about another reward for the intact PS3, much less a $9K< reward so what kind of acidcrack was the revision writer on suggesting you could get bookoo (buukuu? beaucoup?) money for Chris's PS3? Today we celebrate our CHRISTIAN LOVE DAY!"

Chris's birthday, 24 February, is a significant date in his life, for obvious reasons. However, the bizarre inconsistency of how he celebrates (from some new vidya, to wanting his birthday to be a national holiday) warrants some inspection.

Notable birthdays
17th
Chris receives a Pro200 handheld game console, and is photographed looking visibly disappointed while holding it. He also draws "Bionic Over Autism.", which would later be included in Sonichu 6, and creates Espanolic, which would later be seen on his CD cover project for school.

18th
While most people would've celebrated by partying hard, doing something special, or just acknowledging that they have grown into legal adults, Chris got a Sega Dreamcast. While he did have something of a party, it was very much the kind thrown for small children &mdash; comprised of thrown-together decor, last-minute gifts, and some platonic gal-pals as guests. No alcohol, no tobacky, just Kenan & Kel and cake. Interestingly, this was allegedly Chris's best birthday ever. The great importance of this event apparently warranted recording as a story, "My big 18th party".

21st
If the above birthday was Chris's best, then this is probably his worst. No friends, no new video games, and no sweetheart. The only thing Chris got was kicked out of his college English class by his professor. All wasn't lost, however, as this event was the catalyst that began the Love Quest &mdash; Chris's enduring search for someone that will put up with his crying and pamper him for eternity.

23rd
Chris documented this birthday in an issue of Sonichu's News Dash. It took place at the mall and was attended by his parents, as well as "a couple of his new-found gal-pals, who all already have Boyfriends, or are otherwise undatable, due to her religion." He was treated like a child and loved every second of it.

25th
To celebrate this milestone, Chris recorded an IMPORTANT MESSAGE, inspiring girls, boys, and dudes of all teenages with the many lessons he has learned from his quarter-century of experience.

27th
Chris's 27th birthday coincided with the burial of his late Aunt Corrina. Undoubtedly, this cast a shadow on the festivities. In true Chris fashion, he bitched and complained about not being able to stuff his greedy gullet full of pancakes instead of mourning the loss of his aunt. He would later go on to complain in a Mumble chat about how Aunt Corrina ruined his special day by selfishly dying. He also received some birthday money, which he used to fund his road trip to Ohio.

28th
Chris's 28th birthday is shrouded in mystery. Other than his obsessive desire to see his birthday made a holiday, next to nothing is known about how it was spent. What we do know is that he ingested a mysterious substance and was visited by another male guest. Alec Benson Leary also called in and congratulated him, being the all-around nice guy that he is. Chris had been saving $100 to pay for a prostitute as a birthday present for himself, but he ultimately abandoned that idea after The Wallflower became his friend and he assumed he would be allowed to have sex with her for free.

29th
The events were unknown due to his hiatus from the Internet, but somewhere around this time is when Chris began to embrace his feminine side.

* Sonichu Canon: Coincidentally (or not), the homo vaccine in Sonichu #10 is distributed into the world's water supply on this day.

30th
Chris will enter his Third decade in 2012, and will probably get a Vita for this birthday. The 28 October 2011 crimes will still cast a shadow.

Many people see their birthday as a day of personal relevance. Chris, on the other hand, thinks everyone across the globe should be focused on him too. First seen in the CWC Blog, "Christian Love Day" is apparently a second Valentine's Day, but celebrated exclusively by STRAIGHT folk. In the Mailbag, he clarified he "feels like" it should be a nationally recognized holiday, merely because he wills it and it's also Mexican Flag Day. However, Chris provides no details on how to celebrate, nor does he put any effort into garnering publicity beyond one lone video.

In Sonichu, the holiday gains slightly more credence, along with some disturbing moral stipulations. It is on this day that the homo vaccine "cures" the homosexual population of the Earth, driving the Infinitely-High Boyfriend-Factor up to critical levels. It seems to be that this fictional event is the real reason Chris wants to commemorate his birthday as a holiday (well, that and ego). Chris either thinks his comic is so widely known that the date of its denouement would be nationally recognized, or he has a skewed perception of the lines between fiction and reality.
**The literal answers to questions deal is technically known as a lack of linguistic pragmatism. His fairly flat, unnaturally patterned speaking voice is probably a case of aprosodic speech. ==Chris and abstract thinking==
Do you think this could be a "Chris and..." article? There is plenty of evidence that he is NOT an abstract thinker (This would highlight his "Child-like" thinking; children tend be concrete, i.e. literal, in their thinking, Chris is no exception). There's enough evidence of his concrete thinking to make into a separate article. . --Scarletdragon 23:21, 2 December, 2009 (CET)

Attempts to sound suave and educated
I can't really pin it down (I'm not great at literary analysis), but I've noticed that Chris often attempts to sound like, I dunno, a 19th century upper-middle class English writer. For example, in the email describing his detective work regarding the photo taken at the Game Place, he refers to playing a card game with "a young gentleman." I'm too lazy to search for more examples but perhaps you guys know what I mean. I you agree this is a trait, it should be mentioned either here or in the Writing article. Glorious Tentacularity 06:51, 6 December 2009 (CET)

Sarcasm
I think we need a better example for Chris' inability to understand sarcasm. Yeah, he missed the fact that Dan Hibiki is a Joke Character, but you have to remember that Chris is woefully behind the times. Dan wasn't in Street Fighter II, which is probably the last Street Fighter game Chris has even heard of. And that's if Chris has even played Street Fighter. Plus, as of Street Fighter IV, Dan is (supposedly) more of a Lethal Joke Character. A better example would be his interview with Screwattack Europe, where it's pretty obvious that the interviewer is mocking him. --Edrobot 03:14, 10 July 2010 (UTC)

Some technicalities
Sorry for being pedantic, but there are a billion links back to the CWCki's page on Autism, but (to me, at least), some of the 'This is a characteristic of Autism' (to paraphrase) statements that are tacked onto the ends of some paragraphs seem like they were added shoddily out of necessity, and thus that the "characteristics" were thought up on the spot. I was tempted to add "citation needed" to one that particularly stood out, but resisted the urge. <s>Also, I don't really know how to word it better, but there are two separate sections that deal with the link between concrete thought and Autism directly, could that not be revised, and perhaps somehow merged/better linked with the Sarcasm section?</s> (Oh, I also *ahem* corrected some of the grammar, to explain my edit on the page...)
Repetitive language
We all know that Chris uses the exact same fucking terms over and over again, be they CWC-neologisms ("Boyfriend-Free Girl", "Sweetheart from the Ground-Up", "TRUE and HONEST"... you know the rest) or even actual proper terms ("Slanderous mockeries", "mislabeling", "I do not care for", even "crestfallen"), albeit with some slightly modified definitions. I actually found his repetitive use of the word "crestfallen" particularly interesting, since this is not only surprisingly advanced vocabulary, but Chris hasn't exactly used that many variations of the term. This paradoxically indicates both an advanced AND limited vocabulary. Perhaps this is just Chris trying to sound all-grown-up and failing.

Is this notable, or is this just something for the Autism bin by virtue of the fact that this is just repetitive autistic behavior? --SeventhBase 03:30, 21 July 2010 (UTC)
