recent
On 28 October 2011 - a date which will live in infamy - the GAMe PLACe was suddenly and deliberately attacked by forces of the City of CWCville.

On that Friday evening, around 5:20 p.m., Chris and Barbara visited the GAMe PLACe and had an altercation with its manager, Michael Snyder. Chris took several photos of Michael on that day, and uploaded them to the CWCki in November. Why the delay? Well, as it turns out, he and Barb had been arrested by police for various offences - including trespassing, assault, and failure to stop, and ended up going to jail. Now both have been charged with a Class 5 Felony, which implies "a term of imprisonment of not less than one year nor more than 10 years, and ... a fine of not more than $2,500."

Both Chris and Barb were released on bail following their arrest, with Chris's initial hearing being a week later than Barb's - possibly owing to the extra charge against him. It may also allow for additional information to be gathered about on his record of dealings with Michael Snyder and the GAMe PLACe, and also to consider any medical grounds that may affect the outcome of any court proceedings against Chris. Chris will be represented in court by Robert Bell.

This is the first major event that has come to light since the death of Bob on 6 September 2011.

The charges
Below are the charges brought against both Barbara and Chris, along with details and court dates based on the details from the General District Court Online Case Information System. At present we do not have a full account of what happened during the incident and under what circumstances the charges were brought against the pair. However, based on at least one previous incident in June 2010, we can assume a rough outline of events.

Barbara's
* FAIL STOP ACCIDENT > $1000 FEL (§ 46.2-894. Duty of driver to stop, etc., in event of accident involving injury or death or damage to attended property; penalty.)
** Class 5 Felony charge - Failing to stop after an accident where the damage exceeds $1,000 in value, thought to be vehicular damage on the grounds of The GAMe PLACe parking lot.
* ASSLT: ON LAW ENF/DOC PERSON (§ 18.2-57. Assault and battery.)
** Class 6 Felony charge - Assaulting a law enforcement official. It's likely that this occurred when Barb attempted to prevent the police from arresting Chris.

Court dates
* 31 October 2011 - Appeared in court to be formally charged.
* 15 December 2011 - Due to appear in court again, possibly for the hearing.

Chris's
* FAIL STOP ACCIDENT > $1000 FEL (§ 46.2-894. Duty of driver to stop, etc., in event of accident involving injury or death or damage to attended property; penalty.)
** Class 5 Felony charge - Failing to stop after an accident where the damage exceeds $1,000 in value, thought to be vehicular damage on the grounds of The GAMe PLACe parking lot.
* ASSAULT: (MISDEMEANOR) (§ 18.2-57. Assault and battery.)
** Class 1 Misdemeanor charge - Attempted or actual assault against another person, perhaps Snyder.
* TRESPASS AFTER FORBIDDEN (§ 18.2-119. Trespass after having been forbidden to do so; penalties.)
** Class 1 Misdemeanor charge - Tresspassing on land or within an area from which the offender is forbidden, no doubt due to setting foot in The GAMe PLACe.

Court dates
* 7 November 2011 - Appeared in court to be formally charged.
* 15 December 2011 - Due to appear in court again, at the same time Barb is.

Aftermath
* On 4 November, soon after being bailed out of jail, Chris uploaded the pictures he took of Michael Snyder on the 28th to the CWCki, plastering them on the front page as well as Michael's own article, with Chris presumably doing it as a response to the events at The GAMe PLACe. In the respective image descriptions, Chris claimed that Snyder molests children and taunted him for his obesity.

Craigslist is a website where users can conduct business with others. Since its inception, Craigslist has been very useful in the act of selling goods, job hunting, providing services to others, and in many cases simply helping people trying to get some action from local hookers.
__TOC__

Chris and Craigslist
Personal ads
In May of 2009, Chris posted a Craigslist ad saying that he wants a 18 to 27 year-old boyfriend-free girl who is not black.. His ad was removed from the site under grounds of racism.

While being blackmailed by Jack Thaddeus in the summer of 2009, Chris attempted to solicit the services of a Craigslist prostitute to fuck on camera so he could recover his hacked Network accounts. After describing his personal problems to the prostitute, she hung up on him.

Son-Chu
On 2 August 2009, a troll posted Chris's '94 Ford Escort for sale on Craigslist as part of a prank. Seven months later, a trio of BEST FRIENDS FOREVER contacted Chris, expressing interest in purchasing his car and offering their Hex Boxes to sweeten the deal.

Power Ranger toys
In a chat with Jackie in October 2010, he told her he tried to sell some open Power Rangers toys, hoping to get $20-$50 for them, even though she showed him an eBay auction where one sold for $5.50.

Television
In October of 2011, Chris put up a listing for a rather old, crappy television that was presumably owned by his late father, accompanied by some God-awful, low-quality images of it. Although brief, the listing is practically oozing of Chris clichés such as a poor grasp of capitalization skills, no concept of how much things cost (for reference, the $250 asking price would easily get you a modern 32-inch HDTV from a major retailer like Best Buy), and unnecessary spewing of generic business jargon. It should be noted that the television was manufactured in August, 1999- the same month when Chris started to become infatuated with Pokémon.

{{quotebox|1=Panasonic 32-Inch CT-32G34A Color Television - $250 (Ruckersville, VA)<br>
This Panasonic Television has a 32-inch color screen, it gives great display, it comes complete with its matching Remote Control, and it is in excellent working condition.
To-do:
* Add categories
* Add more verifiable information
:: Chris with felonly charges? Ohhh, Santa came early this year, and goddamn, did he deliver~! Anywho; if it was Chris on his own, it might've been dismissed like last time, but with Barb involved too, this is more concrete and serious: I propose that the formal title of the page (or saga, if it comes to that) be the name of the court case (Snyder or People vs Chandler, whatever it may be) when we get it. --Xavier orona 00:45, 6 November 2011 (PDT)
Explanation
Am I reading this right? Chris got an Assault charge (assumption being it has to do with Snyder) but Barb got one too... but for a police officer, because her day in court was Oct 31, is there any information about what "assault" on the officer she actually did? Does anyone know what "complainant : CASON" means? And where can the stuff about him being in jail for two days be found? (or was this something Chris himself gave out?) --4Macie 20:08, 5 November 2011 (PDT)
*Edit: ah, the actual trial for the assault isn't until December, so we probably won't find out what she did until then... It was some civil case between her and Snyder that occurred Oct 31-Nov 1--4Macie 20:13, 5 November 2011 (PDT)
** Oct. 31st was her formal arraignment, where I guess they informed her of the charges against her and set a court date for a criminal trial. Whether or not Mr. Snyder will file a civil suit remains to be seen, but somehow I doubt that her wants to have anything more to do with the Chandlers if he can help it. Giantgroundsloth 21:29, 5 November 2011 (PDT)
***(Messed up original links, but)Snyder's pressing civil charges against both, as both of his civil cases can be seen on the Virginia General District Courts site. Also, assault can be something as simple as a verbal threat, don't know if that was the case here, but it's something to keep in mind. Mrmonster 00:36, 6 November 2011 (PDT)

Who paid bail?
Is there any way to find out who paid bail? Most likely it was one of his extended family, but still. --Melainia 01:33, 6 November 2011 (PDT)
*It could have also been a bondsman, which is pretty likely. That's their whole business. --Mrmonster 00:38, 6 November 2011 (PDT)

Civil Charges
Anyone have any addition info about the civil charges from Mike? http://i.imgur.com/Fz281.png It says they were in court on Nov 1st but the case is listed as "Other Judgement" and a lot of the other fields are empty. Did Mike drop the case? --KillDeer 18:12, 6 November 2011 (PST)

Chris's defense?
Not sure if the Autism card will completely save him this time, espectially for a felony. But could his years of being trolled actually give him a valid claim of "harassment". There certainly is an ocean of information posted online about him, much of which is blatant insults towards him. Any chance the CWCki could get in any sort of trouble for instigating these actions by Chris?

Also, may want to bring up that psych evaluation he had back in 2004 when he was kicked out of school. Could that prove any insight to his reasoning behind this incident; and could it maybe help/hurt his case?--Jcrowley1985 19:36, 6 November 2011 (PST)

Article Title and Redirects
We need to get a more fitting title set up as well as some redirects. I'm not sure how, exactly... But something like "Arrest" for a redirect. My creative juices are currently burnt out so I leave this all up to you for tonight.
