'''Death''' is a concept that [[Chris]] has a notably hard time understanding and/or [[Chris and coping|coping]] with, be it the death of a [[Bob Chandler|human]] or an [[Patti Chandler|animal]], or even an [[imaginary friend]]. While Chris certainly has the capacity to grieve, and has undergone several periods of grieving in his life in response to deaths in his family, his other reactions towards deaths are considerably more perplexing.

His poor reactions to death most likely come from Chris's near-inability to empathize (a common symptom of [[autism]]), and childish thought patterns. Children often don't understand death, usually just thinking it's "like sleeping forever", "just leaving", or in Chris's mind, "merged with their counterpart from [[C-197]]." Chris, being a child inside, can only resort to these clumsy analogies to understand death.

===Various ancestors===
Chris claimed that, at Aunt Corrina's funeral, his ancestors wished him a safe [[Ohio trip|trip to Ohio]] to meet [[Julie]].<ref>[[Jackie Chat 7]]</ref>

===Aunt Corrina (1934–2009)===
Chris's aunt, [[Aunt Corrina|Corrina Inge]], passed away in [[February 2009]] from lung cancer. When Chris informed [[Julie]] that his aunt was dying, Julie insisted that Chris visit her in the hospital, which he had not considered doing. He asked Barb about visiting her, and she dissuaded him, saying she wouldn't know he was there (implying, if true, that Corrina might've also had a form of dementia, or would be too sick to talk to him). Corrina's funeral happened to fall on Chris's birthday, which also happened to be [[wikipedia:Shrove Tuesday|Shrove Tuesday]] (also known as [[Obesity|Fat]] Tuesday or Mardi Gras), a Christian holiday that in some churches involves pancake dinners. Naturally, Chris was more concerned about missing out on the pancakes at [[Wesley Memorial United Methodist Church|his church at home]] than he was about the funeral of his own aunt.

When the "I know how to be sad because my dog died" excuse fails, Chris usually follows up with an offhand mention of his Aunt Corrina. If that fails, the deaths of his many sweethearts tends to follow.

===Bob Chandler (1927–2011)===

In an unreleased call with [[Jackie]], Chris broke down sobbing over his father's death.<ref>[[CWCki Forums posts (Marvin)#The Black Tape]]</ref> The call, referred to by fans as the "[[The_Black_Tape|Black Tape]]", was sealed out of empathy for Chris.

In an email, Chris told Jackie that ''"my heavier cries from my father's passing is really hitting me bad"'', and lamented that in a previous [[dream]] the Grim Reaper had promised that he would not claim Bob until [[2015]].<ref>[[Jackie E-mails 31]]</ref>

In a 31 [[March 2012]] Facebook message, Chris expressed a desire for Bob's ghost to haunt the dreams of anyone who doesn't like him, putting him on the exact same level as his dead dog. While this was an understandable reaction to discovering "plans" that trolls were going to dig her up, or discovering a webcomic that contained what he considered a mockery of her memory, his threat to send Bob's ghost after people is equal parts disrespectful and unreasonable.

In a [[Facebook]] post from [[June 2013]], Chris laments that he had more freedom when his father was still alive, and goes onto complain about how he has to take time out of his day to "[[Affair with Mother|serve and protect]]" [[Barbara Chandler|his mother]]. Knowing Chris, this presumably means that he sat around in [[Chris's room|his room]] playing [[vidya]] while his elderly father did most of the [[Chores|work around the house]].

In [[CLog 09042017 - Mister C]], Chris, while reading [[Bob's Letters to Chris|letters from his late father]], displays emotion over him, tearing up at times.

During the [[Idea Guy]] saga and the rather disturbing events that took place within it, Joshua convinced Chris that Bob had [[Robertchu|reincarnated]] as a [[Sonichu (species)|Sonichu]] with plaid-colored fur, in reference to his nickname "the internet lumberjack" (Chris later retconned his design to a much simpler plain red design because plaid fur was [[Chris and work|too much effort]]), and turned up in CWCville alongside [[Ted Bundy]] to defend the city. Using an autistic man-child's dead father to troll them is disgusting enough as it is; convincing them that said father is still alive in another dimension to help with their extortion efforts is on another level of fucked.

Chris, to this day, still believes their bullshit, and will probably never accept that his father is gone forever; while in many cases believing a loved one is in a [[Chris and religion| better place after death]] is actually a very common and usually quite healthy way of coping with their passing, literally believing they are alive in your own fantasy dimension is actually extremely uncommon and [[Chris and health|extremely unhealthy]].

===Barbara Chandler (1941–)===

[[Barbara]] is Chris's surviving parent.

Alongside Bob, who Chris entered a protracted period of grieving for after his passing, Barbara was one of the few people in Chris's life that he cared about enough to genuinely fear her passing, and Barbara used this to [[manipulate]] Chris into following orders on multiple occasions; one such instance of this was in [[2011]] (prior to Bob's death), in which she threatened to commit suicide as a last resort to stop Chris from his poorly-thought-out plan to attend [[MAGfest]] in Maryland that year by sleeping in his car as he did not have the money to afford a hotel room - a distraught Chris backpedaled, receiving only more guilt-tripping and down payment on some [[vidya]] as a consolation prize.<ref>[[LoveYouLongTime E-mails, 2011-2012#Borb vs MAGfest]]</ref> Barbara used her health as a scare tactic for so long that it instilled paranoia into Chris - on one occasion when Barbara failed to answer the phone when Chris called her while out, Chris panicked and called 911 for a [[welfare check]].<ref>[[Kiwi Farms posts (Marvin)#Welfare Check on Barbara]]</ref>

In [[November 2015]], Chris released [[Family Needs to appreciate Family]], where he addressed [[Cole Smithey]], [[David Alan Chandler]] and [[Carol Suzanne Chandler]] to visit Barb before "her time runs out".

Following Chris's [[August 2021]] arrest for [[incest]] with Barbara, which saw him confined to [[Central Virginia Regional Jail]] for nearly two years, he began to shift in his attitude towards her.

Chris began claiming that "[[Soul Bonding]]" with her was a method of healing her, and that she would have died without it.<ref name=nov21></ref>

Barbara chose to remain living in [[14 Branchland Court]], despite Chris wanting to move back. At the time, Chris claimed there was a restraining order against himself and Barbara. In a jail letter, he complained that, despite having guided her soul into her Rosechu form/body, Barbara's soulless husk still clings onto life inside the house. In a conversation with the [[CWCipedia]] sysop [[Cogsdev]], Chris once mentioned that he had been receiving recurring visions of himself walking into a bright light, which he one day hoped would be prevented from appearing by getting a sweetheart. After the surreal conclusion of the love quest in 2018, it is unknown if he still gets these visions.

In a Facebook post on 30 [[October 2013]], Chris stated that he had become so [[stress|stressed]] out (specifically, over [[October 2013 Facebook Posts#Reality Comes Knocking|the revelation]] that his [[Manchester High School|high school]] [[gal pal|gal-pals]] did not actually like him much at all), that he had contemplated killing himself multiple times. According to Chris, the only reasons he did not go through with it are [[Barbara Chandler|painfully]] [[Clover and Snoopy|obvious]]. This shows just how much Chris's [[Chris and mental healthcare|mentality]] has drained, and how badly he needs the professional help he so stubbornly refuses to get. Of course, this could well be Chris exaggerating and trying to gain pity as he has done in the past, and as his mother allegedly also has (or at least, used to have) a habit of doing. In all seriousness, however, suicide is no laughing matter, and this should be looked at with caution.

In a 2019 Discord chat between his fantasy enablers, Chris had claimed that he is set to live for thousands of years.<ref name=deathcope></ref>

In [[August 2020]], Chris (pretending that his body was being possessed by [[Sonichu (character)|Sonichu]]) uploaded a [[Chris's Last Will and Testament|video will]], apparently in case his body vanished from this dimension ([[1218]]).

On 8 [[September 2021]], Chris wrote in his [[Goddess Log]] that he "now [has] a will that is noterized [sic]." It is seemingly implied that this happened after or because of a suicide threat Chris made while in jail.

==Pets==

===Patti (1988–2006)===

[[Patti]] was the Chandler family's pet dog, who died in [[June 2006]]. Chris apparently drew a picture of a crying [[Sonichu (character)|Sonichu]] face on the signature confirming the euthanasia process.<ref>[http://archive.sonichu.com/cwcipedia/index.php?title=Eulogy_for_Patti&diff=4455&oldid=4454 Eulogy for Patti] on the [[CWCipedia]]</ref> As seen in the image used in this article, Patti also appeared in the [[Sonichu (comic)|comic]], immortalized as a furry character named [[Patti-Chan]]. This is particularly disturbing in that Chris has apparently decided to deny his dog the afterlife that he presumably believes in favor of locking her in his own [[CWCville|personal hell]].

To Chris, her death is the greatest tragedy of his life, which he often compares to the deaths of other people's family members and loved ones. Unsurprisingly, every single person he has said this to has become horribly offended. In [[Chris's Plea to Clyde Cash]], he equates [[Ryan Cash]]'s death with Patti's, and in the [[Father Call]], he equates it to the death of [[Matthew Devoria]]'s mother in the 9/11 attacks.

On the 1-year anniversary of her death, Chris even broke down in tears and had to be consoled by his mother.<ref>[[Megan emails, Jan-July 2007#Chris is sad about Patti|Megan emails, Jan-July 2007]]</ref> By comparison, the "death" of any sweetheart will result in a few days of mourning at best.

It should be noted though that despite all of Chris's fondness for Patti, her memory was still not safe from being [[It's not that cold|defiled by trolls manipulating him]].

===Pollo (2003-2018)===

[[Pollo]] was a cat born sometime in [[2003]] that was adopted by Chris in [[2015]], who had passed away in [[May 2018]]. On 20 May 2018, Chris posted an urgent tweet to [[Twitter]] stating Pollo was having difficulty breathing, and that he needed money from [[eBay]] in order to take Pollo to the vet.<ref>[[May 2018 social media posts#Pollo is dying]]</ref>

Following a wave of backlash due to how Chris was seemingly using Pollo's sickly condition as a way to get sympathy donations, Chris would delete the tweet. ===Sorbet (2016-2018)===

[[Sorbet]] was a cat Chris had adopted in [[2016]], who passed away in [[May 2018]]. In [[May 2017]], Sorbet wandered out of the house and was hit by a car.<ref>[[May_2017_Facebook_posts#Sorbet badly injured, staying at vet]]</ref> Fortunately, Sorbet would survive the incident after Chris took him to the vet,<ref>[[May_2017_Facebook_posts#Sorbet back from the vet, recovering]]</ref> however in [[Solar Eclipse Vlogs#Crescent Eclipse|a video about the solar eclipse]] from [[August 2017]], Sorbet was shown to seemingly have difficulties breathing.

On 17 [[May 2018]], Chris posted to [[Facebook]] in order to announce that Sorbet had gone missing after he was let outside. Chris would put posters with information relating to Sorbet on several telephone poles near the area in hopes of finding him.<ref>[[May 2018 social media posts#Sorbet is Missing]]</ref>

However, Sorbet would not return, as in [[Misc texts#Sorbet deceased|a text message]] from [[October 2018]], Chris confirmed to a [[fan]] that Sorbet never came back and pronounced him dead. In order to cope with the loss of Sorbet, Chris claimed that Sorbet's soul had supposedly been reincarnated into dimension [[C-197]] as an anthropomorphic cat, and that he had since then been able to meet with him.<ref>[[Misc texts#Sorbet deceased]]</ref>

Multiple other now-deceased cats once resided within [[14 Branchland Court]], the most notable of which being [[Scamper]] (2006-2014), a cat that unfortunately passed away as a result of the [[2014 house fire]],<ref>[[CatKnight Interview 3]]</ref> and [[Patches]] ''(October 2018-November 2018)'', a kitten that sadly passed away due to complications relating to pneumonia only one week after Chris had adopted him.<ref>[[Kiwi Farms posts (The Captain)#Liza Update]]</ref>

===Snoopy (2012-2021)===

[[Snoopy]] was a dog who was adopted by Barbara alongside [[Clover]] in [[May 2012]], who passed away in [[July 2021]].<ref name=snoopydeath>[[Kiwi Farms posts (Null)#Snoopy's Death]]</ref><ref name=eulogy>[[July 2021 social media posts#Eulogy for Snoopy]]</ref> Snoopy had apparently suffered a leg injury before he was adopted,<ref name=snoopydeath></ref> causing him to have trouble walking for the remainder of his life. Following a long period of seemingly improper feeding habits,<ref>[[:File:Snoopy, 7 December 2018.jpg]]</ref> Snoopy died in his sleep during the early hours of 14 July 2021.

After Snoopy's passing, Chris posted a eulogy dedicated to him on Twitter. In it, he explained that his neighbor and their daughter helped him bury Snoopy by a tree, making a stone mound around the burial to indicate where the body was. Chris was understandably distraught and saddened over the death of Snoopy; however, he still remained confident in his coping mechanism, the [[Dimensional Merge]]. On Twitter, Chris said that Snoopy was aware of the merge, which meant that him and Snoopy would reunite after the merge was complete. Chris would also bizarrely claim that he had seen an anthropomorphic version of Snoopy from another Dimension during his burial, stating that he looked like "a tall dog guy."<ref name=eulogy></ref>

==Imaginary friends==
Chris is also concerned over the deaths of his [[imaginary friends]] such as [[Sonichu (character)|Sonichu]] and his pals. Since Chris believes all cartoon characters exist in some universe, and he had created Sonichu's, he feels that if he were to reboot the comics, that would mean that Sonichu and his friends would all die, and that they would all reincarnate into their newer rebooted versions.<ref>[[July 2017 Patreon posts#Delay on pages, no plans to reboot Sonichu|July 2017 Patreon posts]]</ref> Being his love and joy, the last thing on Chris's mind would be to kill his creations, but yet he is perfectly fine with freezing them in time with his hiatus on the series.

The [[Idea Guys]] allegedly extorted Chris out of thousands of dollars by telling him they would destroy [[CWCville]], which would lead to the deaths of Chris's imaginary friends. Chris paid up, even putting his own [[house]] at risk of foreclosure by skipping a mortgage payment to do so.

Ironically, even when Chris inevitably does pass on and go forth to meet [[Christopher's name change#Leonard Bearstein|GodBear]], he will still be remembered; not only for his life and the many [[Sagas|humorous misadventures]] in it, but for his comics. Thus, it can be said that Sonichu will never truly die.

===Simonla Rosechu===

During the [[Asperchu]] saga, a recurring theme was [[Evan]]'s legal claims in regard to [[Simonla Rosechu]] as a derivative of his character, [[Simonchu]]. While early demands were for Chris to edit his old strips to remove Simonla entirely from continuity, later Evan consented to letting Chris keep Simonla's early appearances, on the grounds that he kill her at a later date. Chris, not surprisingly, totally lost his shit, showing a much stronger emotional attachment to an empty, one-dimensional fictional character than he has managed for any living creature other than his dog. Finally, after being faced with the threat of legal action, Chris finally killed Simonla in issue #10, though not before she laid an egg out of wedlock with her baby-daddy [[Wild Sonichu|Wild]] (though, of course, the act of laying the egg was never shown, or even mentioned), which hatched into [[Sandy Rosechu]].

Simonla's death apparently continued to haunt Chris long afterwards. This led to him [[Simonla Rosechu#Resurrection|reviving Simonla]] around [[May 2014]], more than four years after her demise. It should be noted that, as revealed in the [[Alec Benson Leary Phone Calls]], Chris considers cartoon characters to be real, living creatures that exist in some other world reminiscent of Toon Town from ''[[Wikipedia:Who Framed Roger Rabbit|Who Framed Roger Rabbit]]''. Simonla's death was as [[Chris and reality|real]] to him as that of any of his family members or sweethearts... perhaps even more so.

==Troll manipulation==
A favorite tactic of [[trolls]] is to [[manipulate]] Chris into reacting to scenarios involving death, a concept in contrast to Chris's childish mentality and thus guaranteeing he would either react in odd ways or in ways that could be used as ammo against him for future trolling. The scenarios, though fictional, were presented to Chris under the pretense they were true. While Chris generally went along with the claims under pressure from troll manipulation, he did maintain some skepticism, such as when he expressed disbelief to [[Kacey]] months later on the [[Ryan Cash]] suicide scenario.<ref name=skeptical>[[Kacey Call 18]]</ref>

The first death scenario trolls experimented with, in October 2008, was that of a fan whose father had passed away from [[Alcohol|alcoholism]]. When asking Chris for advice on [[coping]], Chris briefly replied that the fan will recover from the father's "accident" and then advised the fan not to become an alcoholic.<ref>[[IRC (16 October 2008)]]</ref>

A few months later, another death scenario was invented by trolls, involving the [[Ryan Cash]] character, designed to provoke Chris over his lack of work ethic on the ''[[Sonichu (comic)|Sonichu]]'' comic; the fabrication was that Ryan had been a ''Sonichu'' fan and committed suicide when Chris stopped updating it. Trolls badgered Chris over multiple chats to keep acknowledging the death, not satisfied with his brief replies on the death being sad. Trolls then elevated matters by having the [[Clyde Cash]] character threaten Chris with revenge over the death of his brother. A frustrated Chris recorded a video in which he tried to reason with Clyde, and put his foot in his mouth by suggesting that if Clyde got a girlfriend it would help him get over the death.<ref>[[Chris's Plea to Clyde Cash]]</ref>

===Sweethearts===

Trolls also carried out the death scenario fabrications using a few of their [[sweetheart]] characters. Chris had blunt responses to the supposed deaths and seemingly adjusted quickly when another sweetheart character professed to be in love with him.

When [[PandaHalo]]'s character arc ended, Chris believed that her silence meant she might have been a victim of the [[Wikipedia:Black Saturday bushfires|Australian Black Saturday bushfires]] (despite her location being hundreds of kilometers away). Shortly after her apparent death, the [[Julie]] sweetheart character was introduced to Chris. In a Mumble chat where trolls directed the conversation to PandaHalo's fate, Chris said, "It's OK though, at least I have a good woman who's willing to be by my side at this point."<ref>[[Mumble 7]]</ref> Nine months later, [[Sonichu 9|''Sonichu'' #9]] featured a special "memorial" to PandaHalo and a sequence in which she dies (off-screen) in a building fire after saving her "Pokemon", [[Chloe Rosechu]] and [[BlazeBob Sonichu]], so they wouldn't "burn with" her. Chris also "dedicated" all of [[Sonichu 10|''Sonichu'' #10]] to PandaHalo's memory. This would be almost touching, if the alleged dedication didn't wholly consist of how awesome Chris was for using Panda's cover artwork.

The [[Sarah May]] character claimed to attempt suicide after Chris accidentally called her "[[Julie]]" multiple times in a call.<ref>[[Mumble 8]]</ref> After Chris attempted to talk her down, Sarah May went offline still claiming she would kill herself. Julie, also in the chat, was playing along, and did not react to Sarah's suicide attempt in any human-like fashion; yet, it did not occur to Chris that Julie's behavior was unnatural. Chris told Julie, "Well at least I still have you." Chris then made recorded [[CWC Shout Out to Sarah May]], in which the only reason he offered as to why she shouldn't commit suicide was that he would be sad without her.

When the [[Ivy]] character arc was forced to end due to [[Rocky Shoemaker]]'s intervention, trolls came up with the scenario that she committed suicide by hanging after being upset she couldn't be in contact with Chris. Chris uploaded [[CWC "Boyfriend"]] as a memorial, a poorly-sung remake of Avril Lavigne's happy, bouncy pop-punk song, with lyrics changed to be about how much Chris would like women to date him. Chris included pictures of several past sweethearts in the video, making it less of a tribute to Ivy and more of a monument to Chris's failures. Ivy's demise was incorporated into [[Sonichu 9|''Sonichu'' #9]], in the form of a gruesome accidental death, which involved having gotten her neck broken with elevator wires after falling through the elevator floor.

==Terrorism and assassination==

Chris has a very juvenile understanding of terrorism and its effect on the world.

On the 9/11 terrorist attack, Chris wrote that it was the worst day in 2001, summarizing it as "an airplane was stolen and crashed in New York." Eight years later, trolls exploited Chris's childish mentality in order to [[Chris and manipulation|manipulate]] him into making the [[Twin Falling Towers]] video, suggesting that he should mock [[Clyde Cash]] by saying he's as weak as the Twin Towers. Chris failed to discern that he was being set up, producing a video in which he used his mouse cursor to "crash" into a picture of the buildings, while making explosion sound effects, and taunting Clyde. After it backfired on him, Chris recorded [[Apology for 9/11 Joke|an apology]], albeit one that also incorporated a picture of the Twin Towers as cake candles.

Chris considered suicide in [[October 2013]] after discovering that past events and friends were nothing more than trolls or arranged acquaintances. On 19 July 2021, Allen and his friend [[Bella]] joked to each other about there being a plan to get Chris to kill himself. However, while Sachumo's film is an abridged summary of Chris's life for newcomers, Geno's videos go into greater detail, with most videos being between 35 to 45 minutes in length, with a decent portion of this being tied to the playback of Chris's own audio and video.

The documentary series began on 14 June 2018 and is still ongoing. Currently having an episode count past the 80s, the series has far surpassed Geno's expectations of how in-depth it would be when he first began developing it. The series is in chronological order, taking several videos just to cover Chris's life before his internet fame, with a significant portion of the series (28 episodes) dedicated to [[Saga|the troll-influenced events of 2009 and 2010]] – trolls had prodded Chris into producing many calls and videos at the time, which the series utilizes for playback. It presents the events of Chris's life in a mostly objective light, allowing watchers to pass their own judgment on Chris and the people around him, although Geno selectively chooses what material to cover.<ref name=extent></ref> Nonetheless, Geno occasionally slips in dry, blunt observations over [[Chris and hypocrisy|Chris's shortcomings]], along with summaries of how Chris's problems manifest themselves and worsen over time. Furthermore, he also manages to maintain a completely neutral, deadpan tone of voice when discussing the absolute absurdities present in Chris's life, and he reads spelling errors precisely as they are written, which leads to some of the documentary's most humorous moments despite being an overview of Chris's life.

Geno's narration also reflects Chris's changes in identity throughout the series, [[Christopher's name change|initially referring to him as "Christopher" before changing it to "Christian" in the first episode]] and using masculine pronouns for the bulk of the show's run, eventually shifting over to [[Transgender|calling Chris "Christine" and using feminine pronouns]] by the time that the series reaches the events of late [[2014]], when Chris began to transition. However, Geno has used masculine pronouns in the context of referring to Chris's past antics, and also during Chris's extended period of being "[[Spirit possession|possessed]]" by [[Sonichu (character)|Sonichu]] in most of [[2020]] and part of [[2021]]. The documentary series has inspired a considerable amount of new discussion related to Chris, which has predictably produced more [[Weening|weens]] who mistakenly think that "modern" Chris acts like he once did during the so-called "Classic Era" – much of the context behind trolling was never publicly released by Chris's trolls, making it appear as if many of Chris's actions during troll sagas were his own ideas. The documentary itself eventually ended up being a part of Christory in a more direct fashion, as several people who would go on to interact with Chris either found out about him, or were influenced by, the series. ==History==
Geno attempted to monetize his GenoSamuel2 channel. On 13 [[June 2018|June of that year]], when it was his turn to be reviewed by YouTube staff for the monetization program, they instead issued community guideline strikes due to the clips of bullying featured in the videos, and as a result his channel was terminated.<ref>https://www.reddit.com/r/ChrisChanSonichu/comments/bpe1lz/its_coming_cant_wait_for_the_new_material/enu9fug/</ref> Geno confirmed that he did send an appeal form, but YouTube never gave him his channel back. Fans reuploaded all of the episodes made prior to the strike and Geno created a new backup channel on YouTube where the series would be uploaded from then on.

A week later, Geno revealed on the backup channel he would be taking a long break from the videos, stating that he was getting tired of always having to have Chris in his mind when making the documentary. He said that he will continue working on them sometime near the end of the year.

On 3 [[January 2019]], he announced on his [[Twitter]] in the form of a teaser poster that the series would be coming back on 24 [[February 2019]], which also happens to be [[Chris's birthday|Chris's birthday]]. The new series contains updated audio, additional and corrected information and some modifications to prevent another takedown. He also mentioned that he would not be monetizing the videos out of respect.

The change does not reflect my personal opinions, and even if they did, the star of the series’ name now would still be “Christine.” I must deal with the reality at hand. It ended with a major-key version of the ''Comprehensive History'' theme song and a "THE END" card. Photoshops and AI-generated audio of Chris and [[Ben Saint]] were used to create the illusion. The video was unlisted the following day, but is available to those who have the link. The real Part 74 was later uploaded on the 17th.

A '''messiah complex''' is the mental state of those who believe they are, or will become, saviors. [[Christian Weston Chandler|Chris]] started demonstrating symptoms of this type of psychosis alongside his worsening narcissism and increase in maladapative [[Chris and coping|coping]] mechanisms.

In the latter half of the 2010s Chris increasingly started resorting to his fantasy world as a way of coping with the pressures of [[Chris and reality|reality]] and, after being influenced by the [[Idea Guys]]' cult-like grip, (who utilized [[Hyperdimension Neptunia|a parody series about video game deities]] to [[manipulate]] Chris), he gradually built up a belief that these deities really existed in another dimension, and copied the lore about them to make up an imaginary counterpart of himself with their powers, [[CPU Blue Heart]]. Chris also attempted without success to orchestrate a [[Dimensional Merge]] to unite himself with said counterpart to gain an array of godlike powers, all as a maladaptive coping mechanism against his bleak life.

Following his arrest in August 2021 and subsequent internment, Chris' messiah complex turned literal. Possibly influenced by the bibles given to prisoners in jail, Chris began referring to himself as Jesus Christ and God,<ref>[[Jail Letter - 19 September 2021]]</ref> even signing a letter as "Mrs. Jesus Christine Weston Chandler Sonichu, the Goddess Blue Heart and Lord of All."<ref>[[Jail Letter - 3 October 2021]]</ref> Chris also refers to himself as "Real Player One" in his prison letters, which can be interpreted as a belief that he is the most important being in existence, if not a sign of full-blown albeit non-philosophical {{w|solipsism}}. Either way, it can be assumed that Chris views the majority of humankind as beneath him, although [[Chris and his ego|he most likely did well before going completely coo-coo]].

==Origin of the Messiah complex==

Chris's messiah complex grew out of two already existing problems he had, namely his narcissism and his maladaptive coping mechanisms.

[[Chris and reality|Since before his discovery, Chris believed he had magic powers]]; he used to curse people he didn't like ([[JERKS|men]]) and bless people he liked ([[women]]). [[Curse ye ha me ha#Yes, he actually thinks this works|Due to trolls acting like these curses actually worked]], Chris got the confirmation that some of his powers were real. He also thought God and Jesus had a special interest in his life and were appearing in his dreams to help him.

In his comics Chris gave himself god like powers to beat up the people he didn't like and change IRL situations where he was punished by authorities to a situation where he won against the authorities i.e, a Mary Sue. For a long time comic Chris and real Chris were separate individuals in Chris's mind, but with the coming of the [[Idea Guys]] and [[Teen Troon Squad]] the line between reality and fiction got blurred and he mixed himself and his self insert up.

As he had to prove to the fans that his newfound magic powers were real, he came up with the most rational solution he could think of; the dimensional merge. This helped blow his messiah complex out of proportion.

==Dimensional Merge==

The Merge is a concept where two dimensions, one where Chris is a loser and another where he is a god are merging where the end result is a single Chris with godlike powers. The Idea Guys created the concept of the merge and Chris immediately believed it because it provided an explanation as to why his powers are being activated after 36 years of his miserable existence.

This was most likely created as a means of [[coping]] from his life where he was the man of the house and had to take care of his mother, pay bills and do tasks he considers to be [[stress|stressful]]. He also uses the merge to justify why he does nothing daily and to give himself hope that things might get better in the future.

To stroke his [[ego]] and get confirmation that his godlike powers are being activated, he made his fictional characters worship him, for him these [[OCs|characters are living]] and their worship is equivalent to worship by actual people. Seeing this, many [[enablers]] also started worshipping him and created a religion based on him to get on his good side. Due to all this reaffirmation in his believes he started thinking he is a god.

==Jesus Reborn==

In the wake of Chris being arrested and incarcerated on a charge of incest, awaiting legal proceedings, viewers watched with bated breath in anticipation of what would happen next. Many thought that time in jail would serve to humble Chris, imparting unto him an inescapable awareness of his wrongdoing and forcing him to understand that actions had consequences. For over a month, there was near-total radio silence, and for a time, people believed that perhaps Chris had finally had a reckoning in being forced to face reality. On September 19th, 2021, [[Jail Communications|these notions were swiftly put to rest]], as Chris added another layer of delusion to the many that grew from [[Chris and mental healthcare|his unchecked long-term psychoses]].

While not the first jail letter written by Chris, that being a brief plea for money in August shortly after his incarceration, the message sent on September 19th was wildly different in both tone and content. Reading more like a sermon than a cry for help, Chris declared himself a reincarnation of Jesus of Nazareth as he defended his actions and fulminated against those who had betrayed him, having come to view himself as the single most important being in existence, christening himself as 'the real Player One' - the effective center of the entire universe. Many of the messages that followed, sent to assorted acquaintances, old friends and Youtube channel owners, among others, served to demonstrate the scope of his new outlook. Chris would use letters to elaborate on his feelings towards others or provide lore for his confusing self-made pantheon, all the while assuring his readers of his godly status and insisting vehemently that the Dimensional Merge was coming ever closer, nearing completion by his hands - and insisting with equal vehemence that his actions towards Barb were not criminal, but an act of 'soul-bonding' designed to protect her and prolong her life. Chris's belief in his own godhood became such that he eventually convinced himself that he would simply be released from jail without consequence to tend to his duties following the completion of the Merge, a belief he held to right up until his [[Jail Letter - Prayer to Spamton|last known communique]] prior to his transfer.

How this dramatic change in his mindset occurred is uncertain, though it is commonly believed that combined with Chris's existing fascination with the Dimensional Merge and an inability to cope with the consequences of his actions, Chris's voracious readings of the Bible in isolation have served to instill within him a deeply religious fervor, driving him to create a nonsensical mythology that he has since used as yet another coping mechanism, one that threatens to completely destroy what tenuous ties to reality he still has left. It also serves as a logical next step to Chris's delusions of godhood, given that Chris already treated himself as a messiah of his fantasy world; he simply added a reincarnation element to it, and joined a list of many other delusional people who believe that they are Jesus of Nazareth reincarnated.

It is unknown if Chris still clings to this belief since leaving jail, given that Chris has largely managed to stay out of the public eye and avoid all online or offline forms of communication, but it seems likely that Chris would have stuck to it in some capacity, given his history of being stubborn.

An '''orbiter wave''' refers to a period in Christory where there is a sudden surge in new followers and orbiters, typically as a result of something particularly shocking or notable he did.

Soon after chunks of the [[Incest Call|incest call]] were leaked on 30 [[July 2021]], the affair became the 4th trending hashtag on Twitter. As a result of this and the following [[Chris in the media|mainstream media coverage]], thousands of people were exposed to Chris for the first time. Out of this new infamy an orbiter wave arose. It is dubbed as such due to the sheer volume of new people following Chris's life story. These people can be roughly broken down into three groups:

* Those who were curious to see what went wrong in his life leading up to the alleged fucking of his own mother.
* Those who saw him as nothing more than another deranged sex pest, blissfully unaware of Christory.

This page will primarily focus on the more notable examples of these people, most of whom either wanted to take full advantage of the growing awareness of Chris and his life story and used their platform to attempt to profit off of it, or indirectly found themselves involved in Christory through their actions, all of whom do not have enough material for their own article otherwise.

For [[Christian Weston Chandler|Chris]], however, these just serve as another deterrent in his endless [[Love Quest|quest]] for [[china]] and a weapon with which to threaten his real and supposed [[trolls|enemies]].

As of 2018, Chris has seven misdemeanors – three from hitting [[Michael Snyder]] with his car, one from macing the [[Yellow-Shirted Foe]], two from failing to acquire proper tags for his [[Dog|dogs]], and trespassing after being forbidden from the [[Charlottesville Fashion Square]] – which resulted in him being placed on the [[Therapeutic Docket]].

Virginia is under a {{w|three-strikes law}} – which usually means if someone is brought in a third time for a felony/misdemeanor, the sentence if found guilty, is more severe than usual (in some states, the sentence is life in prison). The rules for this law vary by the states that implement it, some having several "Three Strikes" laws. Seeing as how Chris has served only a small amount of jail time despite several misdemeanors, he may not fall under this category. Chris himself doesn't have much respect for laws and rules, particularly when [[Chris and hypocrisy|their enforcement inconveniences him]]. During his time at [[Target]], he saw nothing wrong with exploiting the free refill policy and loitering for hours at a time in a privately-owned establishment while harassing female customers and apparently [[Attraction Sign|soliciting hanky-panky]]. Chris often remarks that his [[Virgin with rage|emotional state]] entirely justifies his actions, stating in [[Vivitheg's AIM chat]] that he should be excused for disturbing the peace by literally screaming "NOOOOOOO!" loudly in the middle of a crowded mall.<ref>[[Sonichu 1#Sub-Episode 2: Christian Chandler in "The Rise & Fall of My Heart"]]</ref>

Self-contradictory as ever, though, Chris's disregard of many laws does not stop him from rigidly observing others, often with completely skewed priority: In [[Sonichu Special 4]], his cartoon avatar makes a point of obeying the speed limit – while on his way to confront [[Liquid Chris]] and assault him with a [[Megatron pistol|deadly weapon]]. In a [[May 2010]] video, Chris states that he believes a man who brutally beat his girlfriend to death with his bare hands deserved twenty years in prison for his crimes, which is just twice the penalty he wants for [[Tobacky|smoking one cigarette]].<ref>[[05142010]]</ref>

Also, Chris has very little respect for those who enforce the law:

The above quote pretty much defines Chris's attitude towards law enforcement officials. He feels that it is completely appropriate to flip off, insult, and [[lie]] to people who are simply doing their jobs. And, of course, as any rational person would understand, running away from law enforcement officials is a seriously bad idea. Chris is truly a rebel without a cause (or effect).

The correspondence with Jackie revealed that in the trial on the Target incident, Chris thought that his work with the [[The GAMe PLACe#Chris the TCG gamer|Pokémon TCG League]] let him off the hook.<ref>[[Jackie e-mails Part 2#Chris lies about The Game Place]]</ref> In reality, the court probably acquitted him either on a technicality or insufficient evidence. Chris probably mentioned the volunteer work because he believed a person's merits, no matter how unrelated, would automatically make one innocent of all charges. It is also telling that he recounted the charge as "Soliciting", whereas the actual charge was "Disorderly Conduct"; he feels that he was only persecuted because of his [[Love Quest]] efforts, and not because he was tard raging.

Of interesting note, is that contrary to Chris's [[Women's rights|general]] [[Homos|political]] [[Niggos|views]], he seems to be in favor – or at least accepting – of gun control legislation.<ref>[[A Public Announcement for Congress]]</ref> Whether or not he has a firm understanding of what he's saying, we'll likely never know.

Interestingly, Chris seems to have a ''very'' skewed view of the idea of "self-defense", which is exemplified with the acquisition of pepper spray. Pepper spray, like most defensive weapons, should be used as a last resort, to keep people from attacking you. As seen with the [[26 December 2014|GameStop attacks]], Chris uses it as a means to keep anyone he doesn't like away. Using that event as an example, the man he sprayed wasn't even near him and Chris decided to spray a quick spritz on his chest without any provocation. It got worse when, days later, he began a commotion in a [[Walmart]] using the device. To Chris, it's the ultimate troll and [[jerkop]] deterrent, when in actuality, he's waving around assault charges on a stick.

==Timeline==
The following is a list of incidents Chris has had with the law. This list may not be complete; in a telephone conversation with [[Ivy]] in 2009, [[Bob]] told her that Chris had in the past six or seven incidents with the law,<ref>[[Ivy Q&A#The end]]</ref> and yet this article lists only three incidents that precede 2010.

===2004===
On 11 September [[2004]], Chris was detained at [[Charlottesville Fashion Square]] for loitering, and continually arguing with the staff over several months. The incident is depicted in [[Sub-Episode 1]]. Chris was banned from returning to the mall on his own and without his parents' company. However, it appears that this ban was lifted or ignored soon afterward.

===2005===
On 20 July [[2005]], Chris was charged with disorderly conduct<ref name="2005 Disorderly Conduct">[[:File:20050720-GC05009339-00.png|Disorderly conduct charge, 20 July 2005]]</ref> and trespassing<ref name="2005 Trespassing">[[:File:20050720-GC05009340-00.png|Trespassing charge, 20 July 2005]]</ref> at Target, as depicted in [[Sub-Episode 7]] and [[Sub-Episode 8]]. After 2 hearings,<ref name="2005 Disorderly Conduct" /><ref name="2005 Trespassing" /> prosecutors chose to drop the case and Chris was not punished.

5 days later, Chris caused an auto accident when he followed another car too closely and rear-ended it. This went to court on 12 September 2005.<ref name="2005 Following Too Close">[[:File:20050728-GT05011195-00.png|Following too close, 28 July 2005]]</ref> He was fined $30 and had to pay $56 in court costs.

===2010===
Chris's various run-ins at [[The GAMe PLACe]] have resulted in the cops being called on him a couple of times. At least once after Chris called in his parents after he was initially banned from the location and tried to weasel his way back in, and again when he trespassed on the property, though he wasn't charged with anything on either occasion.<ref>[[Michael Snyder is ColdHearted and Mean]]</ref>

On 4 [[June 2010]], Chris made yet another pilgrimage to The GAMe PLACe. Chris was armed with his camera, and while Mike was concerned that Chris wanted pictures of his daughter for [[Mass debating|disturbing reasons]], Chris maintains that he merely wanted a picture of Mike [[Death threats|for use as]] [[CWC is Angry|a dartboard]] – still disturbing, but in entirely different ways. Chris was caught in the parking lot despite trying to run away and was questioned by the police, who made him delete the pictures he had taken and told him to quit his shit. Chris made his [[6 June 2010]] video in response to these events.

===2011===
In a [[May 2011]] [[Tomboys And Tomgirls of Virginia]] post, Chris said that he has begun to use the ladies' restroom at his local mall while dressed in drag; he recounts an incident in which ''"a woman complains and tattles on me, and a [[JERK|stereotypical Brute male]] shouts me out. I felt embarassed. [sic] When in skirt, I am still gonna go to the Ladies, because there is no goin' back for me."'' This supposed brute male may or may not have been with mall security.

In his [[Calling Out|3 new videos]] posted after an 8-month-long hiatus from YouTube he tries to do something which some viewers of ''The Chandler Show'' believe to be blackmail. Chris admitted it by typing word ''blackmail'' in tags for last of them; however, trolls hoping for a lawsuit [[saga]] shouldn't get their hopes up, because it's unlikely any of the trolls threatened by it would want to report him, given that they've all been trying to get him back onto the internet for months and wouldn't want to drive him off again. Not to mention Chris probably doesn't have anything on them at all. Note that under Virginia law, his demands are more likely to be considered extortion (still a class five felony) rather than blackmail.

In the same video, Chris also point-blank accused Mike of molesting his daughter, all while admitting that he doesn't have any concrete proof of his allegation. Given how prone he is to accuse others of slandering him (like pointing out his bad qualities that are extremely evident to everyone but Chris), Chris's accusations are very hypocritical. If Mike did want to sue Chris in civil court, he would indeed have a case against him as Chris's allegations are textbook defamation. However, it's questionable what Snyder would win in litigation, aside from a [[PlayStation 3]] and numerous children's [[toys]].

On [[28 October 2011]], Chris ended up in the worst possible scenario, netting a felony charge and 2 misdemeanors in what appears to be a ''3rd'' attempt to enter the GAMe PLACe, although all charges were reduced to misdemeanors upon sentencing.

As a direct result of his 28 October 2011 run-in with Michael Snyder, Chris had found both himself and [[Barb|his mother]] on the receiving end of a civil suit. Having been sentenced to community service and put under probation, and being charged with paying Snyder's medical bills, this may very well have been the first time that he has felt ramifications for his accusations and threats. However, it is much more likely that he simply [[Chris and his Ego|doesn't care]] or still feels as if he were the [[Kick the Autistic|real victim]] in all of this.

===2012===

On 4 [[February 2012]], it was revealed on his [[Facebook]] that Chris no longer has respect for ''any'' sort of law enforcement after the events of 28 October 2011, officially deeming everyone who upholds the law a Jerkop. At the same time, he revealed another encounter with the boys in blue that day. As he attempted to pass out fliers while at the mall, encouraging others to stay away from the GAMe PLACe, two Jerkops (or as Chris puts it, "a Jerkop and an accomplice") approached him. Despite the officers simply wanting to talk to him and letting him know he wasn't in any trouble, Chris's paranoia kicked in and he ran. While the story Chris gives seems to hint that the officers just wanted to tell him to knock off the distribution of fliers, Chris believed otherwise, citing that one of them called out his name and making him think they wanted to post another encounter with him on the Internet. He escaped by diving into a Mitsubishi, most likely replacing the dying piece of scrap that is [[Son-Chu]], and driving off.

On 12 [[April 2012]], Chris [[Virgin with rage#No longer a virgin (No word on the rage)|announced the loss of his virginity]], giving off strong hints that he had slept with a hired prostitute. He all but [[Facebook#Hey.2C_Trollies|confirmed this]] on 1 May, when he said that he "found her on the backpage", most likely meaning that he found it on the website Backpage.com, a Craiglist clone shut down by the FBI that also solicited prostitutes – Chris's prostitute was codenamed [[Mia Hamm]], as seen on the website. In the state of Virginia, this constitutes a Class 1 Misdemeanor and is therefore illegal. It is unknown whether or not Chris is aware of this, but it's very likely that if he is, he simply doesn't care.

On 28 April 2012, Chris revealed another incident in the mall. Before his Facebook note on 30 [[March 2012]], Chris got into a shouting match with a troll on his cell phone at the mall. The shouting did not go unnoticed, and Chris bolted once security was called in. On 25 April, Chris received a ban from the mall,<ref>[[Facebook#Maniacal Laughter from Who now? Oh, wait, It Is ME! >8D]]</ref> though it is unknown if it was for that incident or an incident that happened between those two dates.

On 10 [[July 2012]], Chris was arraigned in court for the 28 October 2011 incident. After calling Snyder a "thieving liar" in the courtroom, Chris was sentenced to community service and put under one-year probation. He was also ordered to pay Snyder's medical bills.

===2013===
In September 2013, Chris committed an act of vandalism (an arrestable offense) by defacing a [[HEXbox]] One display at a Walmart but got off easy by merely just being banned from the store. Given his furious reaction to this and his track record with a certain store owner who also did the same, it remains to be seen if Chris would follow up on his threat to have his revenge. Also, much like his tantrum at the [[Fashion Square Mall]] in 2005, Chris was confronted by a jerkop at a local restaurant after scratching a woman's car with his, and screaming out loud in public. Chris claimed he was [[Chris and religion|cursing God for all his misfortune recently]].

===2014===
On 29 [[March 2014]], a report surfaced on the [[CWCki Forums]] saying that earlier that month Chris has been spotted trying to steal merchandise from [[Best Buy]]. The next day Chris denied the truthfulness of the report, but [[Kim]] confirmed that the attempted shoplifting had indeed occurred.<ref>[[March 2014 Facebook Posts#Rumour]]</ref>

On [[26 December 2014]], Chris vandalized a Sonic Boom display in GameStop in the [[Charlottesville Fashion Square]] and was forced out due to a previous ban, but not before he attacked a staff member with pepper spray who was calling security. By the 28th, he was confirmed to have been jailed.

===2015===
Throughout most of 2015, Chris behaved himself, presumably because his sojourn to the jailhouse was fresh in his memory. His punishment for the pepper spray incident was eventually decided (after '''seven''' hearings) in October – a very light sentence of a three-figure fine and a six-month prison sentence that he won't have to serve unless he breaks the law again during probation.

===2016===

On July 1 of this year, Chris finally paid his $541.00 fine from his 2014/2015 court hearing. His probation also appears to have ended earlier in the year in April.

In August, Chris was fined $121 by Greene County for two charges, each misdemeanors, of failing to acquire dog tag and rabies licenses for his and [[Barbara]]'s dogs, [[Clover and Snoopy]].

In November, Chris made several death threats against President [[Pmurt|Trump]]. He is blissfully unaware that threatening the President or President-elect is one of the few restrictions on freedom of speech in America, and could land Chris with a fine and/or up to five years in prison.

===2018===

In March, Chris was charged with Trespass after Forbidden,<ref>[[:File:Christine Chandler Trespass After Forbidden charge, 23 March 2018.png]]</ref> a misdemeanor count. The offense occurred on 23 March and was filed under the Albemarle Traffic/Criminal Court.

Chris repeatedly signed his name as "[[Chris Chan Sonichu]]" on court documents, despite it not being his legal name, though no action was taken by court staff on the matter.<ref>https://archive.md/aZ2DC</ref>

Chris was represented by a public defender. After several continuances, the court decided to direct Chris to a court-diversion program, the [[Therapeutic Docket]], for nine months as an alternative to a jail sentence. The trespass case was transferred to Charlottesville's jurisdiction on 10 July to supervise the Docket check-ins, until Chris graduated from the Docket on 23 April 2019, resulting in the court dismissing his trespass charge.

===2019===
23 April saw the early end of Chris's [[Therapeutic Docket]] and the dismissal of his Trespassing after Forbidden charge.

Chris [[Trolls#Chris the troll|trolled himself]] again on 5 August, when he absent-mindedly hit someone else's vehicle with [[Son-Chu]]. [[Jerkops|Police]] soon came to him and his mother about it; [[Barbara Chandler|Barb]] was more involved with the situation at hand, while Chris soothed himself by kicking the police car several times before the police left. Fortunately for Chris, he was not penalized.<ref name=kick></ref>

One of the darkest events in Christory happened this year, which might potentially spell the end of the tale of Chris-Chan as we know it.
A series of events so controversial and massive, that they caused this very wiki to crash due to the event persistently trending on [[Twitter]] (amusingly even overtaking the [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2020_Summer_Olympics Olympic Games] for a time), overrunning this site's servers with traffic alongside the ongoing DDOS attacks against [[Kiwi Farms]], of which this site shares a server.

On 29 July 2021, audio leaked of Chris and [[Isabella Loretta Janke]], where he had casually admitted to repeatedly raping [[Barbara Chandler|Barb]] since late June. (Chris also indicated that Barb was confused, telling him to stop at times, so one can safely call it [[Chris and sex#Rape|rape]] since Barb has been speculated to suffer from dementia, meaning that she is not in a state where she's able to consent.) Bella played along for several minutes, pretending to approve of Chris's new habit so she could record more information for blackmail purposes. Meanwhile, another leak from [[Null]] (a financial benefactor and confidant of Chris's) from around the same time indicated that Chris purchased a book about romancing the disabled, meaning that he was planning to have an affair with Barb.

After hundreds of people contacted the police as a result of the leaks, authorities conducted a [[welfare check]] on Barb and issued an Emergency Protective Order on Chris on the following day, essentially a temporary restraining order that would last around a week, prohibiting access to Barbara and [[14 Branchland Court|his home]] until 5 August 2021. (Chris's neighbors took care of their pets after both Chandlers were taken from their home.)

Made temporarily homeless by this turn of events, Chris decided to make matters even worse for himself by committing yet another crime barely a day later; he stole $750 from Barbara's bank account to pay for hotel accommodations (and alleviate ''his negative bank balance'' at the time), which left him about $550 after the latter fact, before shelling out $384 for the hotel and wasting the remaining $166 on toys ([[Chris and Money|because ''of course'' he fucking did]]), leaving him with next to nothing yet again. This crime, however would land Chris in much hotter water than the many other times he stole from his parents: after discovering what Chris had done and being lied to about it during the confrontation, Null immediately cut ties and washed his hands of Chris, and proceeded to shut down the GoFundMe page intended to aid him on his planned trip to [[Everfree Northwest]] ([[List of places that have banned Chris|who banned him from entry after learning about the news]]), and refunding everyone involved. It should be noted that Chris had intended to use some of the funds to pay back his mother once they cleared, but, as stated before, he took the funds without permission and in violation of the Protective Order, which is, at the very least, a strong case for an Embezzlement charge to be laid on him later.

Chris's [[Patreon]], due to the scandal, also came under review, leaving many to speculate that it would most likely see deletion on top of his long-term [[Chris and negligence|neglect]] of the page and his subscribers. Sure enough, on 2 August 2021, his account was terminated.

Due to his eventual arrest for the crimes he had committed, he may also lose his precious tugboat and the controversy has significantly reduced all donations from his [[True and Loyal Fanbase]], meaning that over the course of a weekend, Chris had single-handedly ruined all of his avenues of income, which will undoubtedly [[Financhu Crisis|spell disaster for his household]].

Oddly enough ([[Chris and reality|or perhaps due to his enhanced delusions]]), Chris remained in seemingly good spirits during his arrest.
Despite this arrest being far more major than anything else he has previously been charged for and potentially ruining his life, Chris did not resist arrest and even disturbingly stated that being frisked by one of the [[Jerkops|officers]] [[Homos|felt good]] before being taken away. He also noted that the [[Dimensional Merge]] was in the process of happening, which is likely why he believes that he can weasel his way out of this somehow.

As of this writing, Chris is currently being held at the Central Virginia Regional Jail and is currently awaiting trial for the charge of [[incest]], as well as further charges yet to be identified. He was [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Arraignment arraigned] on 5 August 2021 and held without bond pending a mental health evaluation until 16 September, likely making matters worse by interrupting the court proceedings to beg for his toys.

It's not hard to figure out why Chris thinks the law should serve him and him alone. His parents, too, have the same problem.

* When Chris was thrown out of the [[Wikipedia:Cub Scouting (Boy Scouts of America)|Cub Scouts]] after an [[autism|unknown incident]], his parents attempted to sue the [[Wikipedia:Boy Scouts of America|Boy Scouts of America]] for [[Kick the Autistic|discrimination]].<ref>[[Mailbag 18]]</ref>

* When [[Snorlax]] thought she had indigestion, she acted like she was going to sue the Chinese establishment the food came from. When it turned out to be [[Wikipedia:colitis|colitis]], she dropped the subject.
* When Barb and Bob had their absurd case against Greene County used against them, their first reaction was to run to another county.<ref>[[Greene County Conspiracy]]</ref>
* When [[Asperchu|Alec]] called the Chandler household posing as [[The GAMe PLACe]] employee Matthew Noble, Bob and Barb claimed that taking pictures of somebody without their knowledge or consent was "not illegal". * During that same call, Bob will not countenance the idea that an individual can be prohibited from private property, saying, "it's a business place," which has no bearing on private property laws.<ref name="Matthew Noble call"/>
* On 28 October 2011, Barb was arrested for not only fleeing the scene of an accident but also felony assault on a police officer, an extremely foolish crime that a remotely sensible person would never commit due to the serious consequences attached to it (mandatory minimum of six months' imprisonment on conviction); however, the recent death of her husband, her age, her bad health and her hopeless, dependent clod of a son seem to have helped elicit her some clemency.
*On 10 [[July 2012]], Barb was arraigned in court for her participation in the 28 October 2011 incident. She was sentenced to community service and served two-year probation.
*On 31st [[July 2021]] Chris was arrested with the charge of incest instead of rape, meaning that Barb may have been lucid during the events, whether this means she will also be charged with the crime of [[incest]] remains unknown.

==Chris's ORIGINAL and OFFICIAL laws==

Chris believes the police in real life are corrupt, and sees them in the same light as he sees the Jerkops in his comic – the Jerkops act as a stand-in for police who wronged him, and are portrayed as being impostors with no legal authority (probably indicating that Chris does not recognize real policemen as legitimate authority). In light of these things, Chris has his spin on the law. The penalties for [[Alcohol|drinking]], smoking and internet harassment involve physical violence, including a "Kick in the Teeth", which Chris inexplicably portrays as a punch in the first and only of his supposed series of Q&A videos.<ref>[[Chris Chan Q&A 27 October 2008]]</ref>

On 31 [[December 2009]], Chris orated about a law he wanted to be made to prevent [[Jack Thaddeus]] from using the ad space he paid for:

As one can see, Chris is seeking the direct intervention of the president of his country and beseeching him to [[Chris and reality|outlaw advertisements he doesn't like.]] Aside from the fact that Obama himself couldn't have done anything about this, the fact is that Chris was mandated by law to display the ads Jack paid to display. Chris should have written to his congressman about this rather than the president, but either way, he would have received no response.

This attitude is also reflected in his relationship with [[Mary Lee Walsh]]. [[2003|More than a decade ago]], she put a stop to Chris [[Love Quest#Conflicts with Mary Lee Walsh|soliciting sex]] on her campus. [[Curse-ye-ha-me-ha|War ensued]] and Chris received a well-deserved [[Autism papers|time-out]] for [[Chris and anger|his behaviour]]. Six years later, in [[2009]], Chris decided it was time to make peace. He went to her office and left her a [[:File:Apology to Mary Lee.jpg|"Framed Hand-Drawn Apology"]] on her doorstep out of the blue.<ref>[[One Blessing, and One Curse]]</ref> Her reaction was to file a trespassing notice. Chris disastrously believed that since he didn't read the letter and returned it to the sender, he wasn't liable for it.<ref>[[Mailbag 26]]</ref> Thankfully, Chris didn't trespass again.

[[Mailbag 55]] posits a few more original laws: one, that it should be illegal for [[JERKS|men]] to ever show their [[Reldnahc|bare chest]] (because, according to Chris, no one in the entire world ever wants to see a man's bare chest, presumably disregarding [[women]], [[Homos|gay men]] and boxing enthusiasts), and two, he wants to [[Women's rights|force all women]] in any kind of relationship to wear rings (purely for his benefit of course), thus defeating all symbolism and significance of them.

In the aftermath of distancing himself from the Internet, Chris began to formulate a new law, the "Bill for Anti Online Bad-Mouthing," starting with his second [[Flipnote Hatena|Flipnote]], [[Don'tGetTrolled!]]. The details are unknown, but Chris essentially wants to make so that online, nobody can ever speak negatively of anybody else under threat of prosecution. There do exist laws against cyber-crime and online harassment but these laws vary by country (and concern rather more serious deeds than drawing [[Rosechu]] with a dick), and so even if Chris's law were somehow implemented federally, only his fellow USA residents would be held accountable. Chris is failing to comprehend that people besides Americans use the internet, or worse, assuming the entire world can be held to the USA's laws.

==In CWCville==
During the [[Idea Guys]] saga, Chris was told that [[Jamsta]] Sonichu had been put on trial for molesting [[Punchy]]. Chris didn't want Jamsta to suffer in jail as he had, so he tried using his psychic powers to talk to the [[CWCville]] judge to convince him to release Jamsta, regardless of the crime he had committed. The Idea Guys informed him that the judge was unconvinced since Chris was no longer mayor, so Chris then turned his attention to the jurors. This worked but sparked a city-wide riot.<ref>[[Idea Guy Q&A]]</ref>

==In the comic==

The law, such as it is, in the comics is a horrifying totalitarianism where anybody anywhere is subject to the whims of a dictator. In CWCville, Chris is "mayor" (read: god-king) and has banned many things in his city. Smoking or drinking alcohol would lead one to be either sentenced to ten years in prison or a US$1,500 fine (which Chris [[Chris and money|considers an equally bad punishment]]). CWCville has its own currency (despite being nothing more than a small city) and why fines are levied in USD is unknown.<ref name="Chris Chan Q&A 27 October 2008">[[Chris Chan Q&A 27 October 2008]]</ref> Importing tobacco or alcohol incurs a greater punishment than murder or rape.<ref name="Chris Chan Q&A 27 October 2008"/> However, it should be noted that Chris [[Rollin' and Trollin'|repealed the law against alcohol]] in [[June 2009]].

The Rosechus often congregate to "protest" for women's rights. These protests usually involve nudity and/or pornography. They campaign for basic, archaic things like eligibility to vote, suggesting Chris (or one of his predecessors) has imposed discriminating laws against women in CWCville.

It is never clear whether or not CWCville is legally a part of the United States (and thus subject to its federal laws), as Chris characteristically sends mixed messages a lot – some things are distinctly American (the aforementioned USD fines, for instance. However there are {{w|Ecuador|foreign}} {{w|Zimbabwe|countries}} in the real world that use USD.), but CWCville has its currency and its own set of "laws", the likes of which would never be permitted in a developed or even undeveloped country, even if CWCville were some sort of Vatican-like sovereign state. The only arrangement that makes even the slightest amount of sense is that CWCville is just that – a sovereign state, on US soil. Chris doesn't seem to have thought this out though and believes the mayor of a town is legally entitled to act as an authoritarian dictator.

As a mayor, Chris does nothing bureaucratic, ever, and makes [[Allison Amber|his secretary]] do all the paperwork (as per his thoughts on women) while he goes off on another one of his sweetheart searches. He has mandated "[[dating education|Dating Education]]" classes for students so that they can learn to go on dates, as well as how to "stay straight".

[[List of Sonichu characters#Constables Gerald Grant and Louis Perez|Actual police officers]] did not appear until [[Sonichu 10|quite late]] in the series and even then, they did nothing whatsoever, giving the impression that Chris and his [[Pokémon]] abominations are the only thing standing between peace and violent anarchy. However, [[Sonichu 9|''Sonichu'' #9]] seems to reveal that there are three sets of "other" protectors: a (possibly) nondescript police force (distinct from [[Mary Lee Walsh]]'s [[jerkops]]), as well as his team of [[Power Rangers]] and a team of [[Transformers]].

In conversation with [[Jack Thaddeus]], Chris revealed that CWCville is the home of a paramilitary force equipped with tanks which he uses as a "Police Force", and all his [[Electric Hedgehog Pokémon]] enjoy immunity from prosecution and are above the law.<ref>[[Jack Thaddeus Phone Call 3]]</ref> Add this to the fact that Chris cannot be deposed as mayor ("there [[Chris and English|is]] no elections") and the fact that the police and a fleet of superpowered goons obey anything Chris demands of them, and it paints a very frightening picture. According to Chris, [[Magi-Chan]] mentally scans the city perimeters for any sexual acts, and reports any [[homos|homosexual]] activity to the authorities. The participants are then "tried and fined HEAVILY; $500 or 50 Hours of Community Service".<ref>[[Mailbag 31#Magi-Chan knows when you fuck]]</ref> Apparently in CWCville, the [[Wikipedia:Fourth Amendment to the United States Constitution|Fourth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution]] does not apply in matters of personal sexual choice, and neither does the [[wikipedia:Lawrence v. Texas|U.S. Supreme Court ruling]] finding sodomy laws to be unconstitutional.

Even though Chris's deranged laws exist only within his city-state-country-whatever of CWCville, he exacts his deranged fury unto people whether they're actually in his jurisdiction or not. [[Sonichu 10|''Sonichu #10'']] shows four distinct crimes committed outside of CWCville: the destruction of the [[4-cent garbage]] building, the murder of over one hundred alleged "trolls" in said destruction, breaking and entering, and destroying Internet files and property. There was no evidence to suggest that this act of mass murder was even investigated by the authorities, and the comic portrays this act of [[Twin Falling Towers|terrorism]] as Chris and his goons heroically defeating a gang of criminals.

Chris may be able to murder without being reprimanded, but of course, this doesn't apply to everyone. Following the death of [[Simonla]], the culprits ([[Alec]], [[Mao]], [[Sean]] and [[Evan]]) are subjected to a show trial, and given no defense attorney by the state (violating the [[Wikipedia:Sixth Amendment to the United States Constitution|Sixth Amendment]]) forcing Sean to act as their lawyer despite being [[Tobacky|high as a kite]]. There is no solid evidence presented for the murder charge, aside from the Voltorb remote (which the prosecutor never tried to prove belonged to them) and wholly unreliable "psychic evidence" extracted by Magi-Chan. When they're railroaded and found guilty, they're ''killed by the people they've wronged'' (read: murdered brutally by cartoon characters), in a gross violation of the [[Wikipedia:Eighth Amendment to the United States Constitution|Eighth Amendment]] forbidding cruel and unusual punishment.

Demonstrating Chris's limited understanding of trials (as his knowledge of trials stems purely from television), the kangaroo court integrates both elements of civil and criminal trials. The Asperpedia Four are not only prosecuted for murder by a [[Marvey Blaziken|state attorney]], as per a criminal trial, but also charged with defamation of character, libel, and copyright infringement (as well as several charges such as "profanity to the max" that would hold no water in an actual court) by Chris and his cohorts, as per a civil trial. Surely enough, Chris, Sonichu, and Rosechu are sitting in a benchmarked "PLAINTIF" [sic]. That both civil and criminal charges are included in one trial not only demonstrates a poor understanding of the courtroom process but is further proof that Chris considers "slanderous mockeries" and other torts on par with major crimes such as murder and assault. To add to the equation, one cannot be given a death sentence (or any sentence, for that matter) for being guilty in a civil trial, but in the Asperpedia Four trial, civil charges are the primary reason for the death sentence. In summary, the CWCville court system is a constitutional nightmare that violates multiple articles and amendments and has no concept of due process. One must wonder why it is allowed to exist within the borders of the U.S.

Were it not obvious by now, any semblance of law in CWCville exists solely to further the wishes of its tyrannical (and murderous) creator god.

Nowadays, it is widely accepted that '''dreams''' can provide valuable insight into the mind of the dreamer. While they represent, at best, a warped reflection of what goes on in the unconscious mind, dreams are nevertheless made up of more than just random, meaningless images; usually involving the memories and thoughts of said individual.<ref>http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dream</ref>

[[Christian Weston Chandler|Chris]] adheres to a simpler, primitive belief in the significance of dreams. It's part and parcel of his [[Religion|religious]] mysticism — he believes many of his dreams are messages from God, as if he were a modern-day [[wikipedia:Book of Daniel|Nebuchadnezzar]]. Dreams, in Chris's mind, can provide accurate portents of the future, and much of his strange behavior may be connected to his attempts to make these dreams into [[Chris and reality|reality]].

==Significant dreams==
Chris has often claimed that his dreams represent communications from the divine. On [[IRC (02 January 2009)|IRC]], when asked about his purpose in life, he explained it like so: "To eventually be married to my Sweetheart, then give birth and raise my daughter, as God has pointed it out for me in my dream." Likewise, when [[PandaHalo]] asked him why he wanted a daughter so badly, he said, "it was fortold to me in multiple dreams."

During the [[Father Call]], when Matthew Devoria pointed out that his belief in prophetic dreams was both highly unlikely and potentially blasphemous, Chris was willing to back off from some of the weirder implications of his philosophy. "I am not saying that I am a prophet," he admitted. However, he continued to cling to the belief that his dreams represent the future. "I'm not saying that it is the definite future," he explained, "but that it is a POSSIBLE future."

It could be that Chris believes that [[Chris and religion|God]] gives him these "visions of the future" in order to comfort him with the knowledge that he will, in fact, triumph in the face of adversity and [[autism]]. Chris himself has, on several occasions, shown that he fears suspense and uncertainty, and it wouldn't be a great leap of reason to assume that he thinks [[Chris and his Ego|God is personally tossing him spoilers for his own life]] in much the same way as Chris slathers them onto [[Sonichu]].

When a letter in [[Mailbag 55]] called Chris out on his insane belief, his response was to ask "What is YOUR Dream Career?", suggesting that he has misinterpreted various dream-related expressions such as "the woman of my dreams" or "my dream job". While the expressions actually mean "it would be dreamlike to have a job like that or a wife like her", Chris may take it to mean "God literally showed this job/woman to me in a dream".

Chris has discussed several of his more important or influential dreams in many of his comics, chats, and videos. There may be a great many more that he's never felt like sharing with the outside world, so this section is by no means comprehensive, but it should at least provide a basic overview of the sort of prophecies Chris believes that he receives.

===The Crystal dream===

By far the most significant of Chris's dreams is this one, where he saw himself married to an unspecified woman and raising a daughter named [[Crystal Weston Chandler (daughter)|Crystal]]. This represents the genesis of his [[Love Quest]], or at any rate his favorite excuse for it. When he's not willing to admit that what he really wants is a replacement [[Barb|mother]], Chris claims that his search for a sweetheart is intended to fulfill God's will and produce his prophesied daughter.

Chris, always one to [[Honest Content|share too much personal information during conversations with strangers]], sometimes brings up the Crystal dream while introducing himself to people. In one of his [[Facebook_messages#Christy_Backe|Facebook conversations]], he sent a new contact the following question: "Do you know any 18-25-year old single women who might like me? I would appreciate any help I can get in finding the one who would be my Sweetheart, and help me realize my dream of me fathering a pretty daughter named Crystal Weston Chandler."

For some time, the many trolls following Chris operated according to the belief that the dream took place when he was around 21 years old, right around the formal beginning of the Love Quest. During the [[Father Call]], however, Chris very clearly stated that he had the dream when he was in elementary school, between seven and nine years of age. In that description of the dream, he also noted that he "had, like, an office job" in his future life, an embellishment that smacks of Chris attempting to impress [[Kacey]]'s father.

This statement, however, predates the Father Call. In an [[Katie_Bay_E-mails_3#7.2F28.2F09|email sent to Katie Bay]] near the end of July 2009, Chris used this dream as an excuse to not get a job. Specifically, he expressed annoyance that he does not know what kind of job he has in the dream, only that he is working in an office building, his daughter is present, and shortly after the dream begins [[Twin Falling Towers|the building starts to collapse]] and he needs to run away with Crystal.

Chris's dreams about his future daughter are at least partially responsible for his refusal to date [[Niggos|black]] women. In [[Mailbag 35]], he explained, "I never saw a black woman being my wife in any of my dreams of me and my white baby daughter."

===The Grim Reaper dream===
In a dream some time before 2005, Chris met the [[Wikipedia:Death (personification)|Grim Reaper]]:

===The Blanca dream===
During the late summer and early fall of [[2008]], Chris wildly ping-ponged back and forth between a number of potential [[trolls|sweethearts]], including [[PandaHalo]], [[Sarah Jackson]], and [[Blanca Weiss]]. On September 29, however, he finally settled on Blanca, having supposedly experienced a dream where he met her in the lobby of a [[Charlottesville]] hotel.

Chris describes the dream in some detail in his [[Blanca_Emails,_September_2008#Chris_dreams_of_Blanca|e-mails to Blanca]], as well as the [[Chris's Letter to Blanca|letter]] he sent to her along with his [[medallions]].

He also mentioned the dream on his [[The OFFICIAL Sonichu & Rosechu Blog|blog]], claiming that "[[God and Jesus]] have revealed to me the name of my True, Honest Sweetheart-To-Be." Three weeks later, the object of Chris's divinely-inspired love dumped him (after dumping his beloved medallions in [[pickle]] brine).

===The PandaHalo dream===
Although breaking up with Blanca temporarily sent Chris [[Captain's Log, Stardate October 21st, 2008|crashing into slumber]], he recovered from the trauma quickly enough with the aid of his dear friend PandaHalo. By mid-November, he was having wet dreams about her and sharing the details in their communications, which Panda promptly passed on to her fellow trolls on [[IRC (26 November 2008)|IRC]]:

We talked for a bit, but then you and I, we made out, then got naked and lost our virgin ways to each other. If this particular dream also happened to be a prophecy, GodJesus must have gotten his wires crossed. Chris never met Panda in person, and had more or less gotten over her long before she allegedly died early in 2009.

===The Ivy dream===
In [[Episode 19]], Chris recounted a vision where two-thirds of the Holy Trinity told him, in the most explicit possible terms, that [[Ivy]] was destined to be his one true love, that his enemies would be defeated, and that his [[biological clock]] would soon be conveniently reset. None of these prophecies came true.

===The Watery Maze Dream===

Another one of Chris's wet dreams, in the literal sense this time, involves a vision of encountering his promised sweetheart in a "watery maze." Chris mentioned this recurring dream in his [[Quizzes#Christian Weston Chandler Quiz|quiz about himself]], although he didn't offer very many additional details.

[[Liquid Chris]] took advantage of this bit of information to mock his rival in one of his [[For Chris|videos]], declaring that he and his girlfriend [[Kacey]] "are going to swim through a watery maze and make passionate love to each other and [[Captain's Log, Stardate April 28th, 2009|it's going to be awesome]]".

Chris eventually immortalized this dream in a [[RomanticLabyrinth|terrifying animation]], showing us a little more of what it's about. The details were unsurprising: in a maze full of water, Chris meets an unspecified woman and has sex with her. The end.

Chris was especially eager to keep this animation on [[Flipnote Hatena]], having uploaded it a grand total of ''six times'', despite its assorted violations of the website's policies. Though the site's moderators deleted it a number of times, he doggedly kept re-uploading it. Judging by the monologue after the dream ("If only I knew who you are in reality...") Chris believes that the [[Lovely Weather|"LOVELY WOMAN"]] is a real boyfriend-free girl somewhere, perhaps one who suffers from a recurring nightmare in which she is raped by an obese manchild. By putting his sex fantasy where everyone could see it, Chris may have been attempting to contact the non-existent woman.

===Sticky Dream===
Due to the combined threat of his somewhat [[Chris and English|slippery grip on language]] and his peculiar mindset on sex, Chris is noticeably confused about basic sexual terminology; for example, in [[Ivy Q&A#Threats|Ivy Q&A]] it's mentioned that Chris told Ivy that he had a "sticky dream" about her. When Ivy asked if he meant a wet dream, he replied, "No, that's when you pee yourself, silly!"

==Minor dreams==
===The Sonic on Game Boy dream===
In the [[Song of Christian]], Chris claims to have experienced a dream involving a [[Sonic the Hedgehog]] game for Nintendo's Game Boy handheld. According to the [[Sonichu Chronicles]], it took place in June 1997. This, he says, is what inspired the "Sonic Dumps Sega, Joins Nintendo" cover story on his [[Homemade Nintendo Power magazine|homemade ''Nintendo Power'' magazine]], as well as the many half-assed knockoff Sonic game concepts inside of it. He also wrote a letter to the real ''Nintendo Power'' describing the dream.

This is one dream of Chris's that actually came true, after a fashion. While Nintendo never made a Sonic game for the original Game Boy, ''[[Wikipedia:Sonic Advance|Sonic Advance]]'' hit the Game Boy Advance at the tail end of 2001. It was one of the very first Sonic games for a non-Sega hardware platform, seeing release around the same time as ''Sonic Adventure 2: Battle'' for Nintendo's GameCube. In typical Chris fashion, he announced that he "pretty much foretold that outcome" in a [[The Sonichu Chronicles|PowerPoint presentation]].

===The Pamela dream===
During his chats with (someone he believed to be) [[Vanessa Hudgens]], Chris cited a dream that taught him a useful moral lesson. Supposedly, during the long months of the [[Megan Saga]], Chris had a dream where he "had to choose" between his True and Honest love for [[Megan Schroeder]] and his temporary lust for [[Chris and television|TV star Pamela Anderson]]. "I stuck by my [[Chris and religion|morals]] and went for Megan," Chris explained. "And because the same is being applied between you and [[Ivy]], I am going to remain strong and true and stay with Ivy."

Given that he never got any from Megan, of course, in retrospect the sensible choice would have been to go for Pamela, a la Borat. Here's to the path not taken.

===The Patti-chan dream===
Some time after the death of his beloved dog [[Patti Chandler|Patti]], Chris had a dream (or multiple dreams) reassuring him that Patti was all right and living comfortably in the presence of God. Chris discussed this in his [[Chris's Plea to Clyde Cash|Plea to Clyde Cash]] from [[January 2009]], hoping that Clyde would follow his example, "get over" the death of [[Ryan Cash]], and stop cruelly tormenting him. For some reason, Clyde chose to ignore Chris's advice.

===The acid factory dream===

In [[Mailbag 39]], responding to a question that attempted to reason with him about his hatred of [[Asperchu]], Chris dove off along a tangent and described a particularly picturesque nightmare that mixes his hatred of [[tobacky]], his now non-hatred of [[alcohol]], and his [[Chris and race|racism]].

Chris has a habit of bringing up traumatic experiences from his past on the least provocation, usually as a way of fishing for sympathy. For instance, during the [[Father Call]], he went on the defensive by suddenly changing the subject to the incident where he was allegedly abused at [[Nathanael Greene Elementary School|elementary school]].

===Dreaming of death===
Chris has apparently dreamed on multiple occasions of the instant that precedes death. In his [[ChrisChanSonichu_and_WikiSysop_correspondence#Size_does_not_matter._.28CCS.29|conversations]] with the Sysop of [[CWCipedia]], while complaining about various objectionable advertisements on "his" site, he delivered the following bizarre non sequitur:

And Believe Me, IN DREAMS, and even IN MOMENTS within my mind while AWAKE, I HAVE SEEN AND FELT That Death Light. Not only is it the Most Horrifying Thing Ever, but I am [[Chris and English|LOOOONG NOT READY FOR IT YET]].|This statement offered without comment.}}

Exactly why Chris chose to draw a connection between the moment of a human being's physical death and the moment of a Windows PC crashing is uncertain. This might be because the error alert that comes up after a critical system error in PCs is colloquially known as the "Blue Screen of Death," which literal-minded Chris would associate with a real near-death experience.

Chris's dreams of a light at the moment of death may be based on [[Bob]]'s recollections of his own near-death experiences. During [[Emily Date Conversation Transcript#Bob's health problems (0:24:23–0:25:29)|Chris's date with]] [[Emily]], Bob tells her that he has "died" several times, and Chris says that Bob "has seen the light, but did not actually go to it."

===High school dreams===
During his [[Emily Date Conversation Transcript|date with Emily]], Chris mentioned recurring dreams about his days at [[Manchester High School]]. Given that his high school years were the last time Chris had anything like real friends or a fulfilling social life, it's no surprise that he often revisits them in his dreams. He describes the dreams in a very wistful, nostalgic tone: "I get to see all my, all my old s-, c-, all my old friends...there."

Chris also added that Megan Schroeder sometimes appears in his dreams of high school, even though he didn't meet her until well after he graduated and returned home to [[Ruckersville]]. Clearly, his unconscious mind is cobbling together an amalgam of all his fondest memories.

===Prince dream===
According to an [[August 2010]] e-mail to [[Jackie]], Chris dreamt that he was in a Prince and Pauper situation, in which he switched lives with a Prince. He called it "confusing and [[stress]]-filled" and said he was surrounded with people who had no understanding of him, and was upset with the Prince's [[abusive babysitter|babysitter]] for calling Yoshi a "[[homos|homosexual]] icon."<ref>[[Jackie E-mails 11]]</ref> Chris offered an explanation for this [[Random-access humor|otherwise baffling]] scenario, claiming it was an analogy for his brief stint as [[Junior Jenkins|the prince of the trolls]] and his discomfort with the homosexual tendencies of [[Trollin Train|his new caretakers]].

===Father dreams===
Since [[Robert Chandler|his father]] passed away on 6 September 2011, Chris has indicated that he regularly dreams about him, and hints that these are messages from the spirit world. In a private [[March 2012 Facebook Posts#Still Feeling Lonely II|Facebook post]] in [[March 2012]], Chris wrote, "I see and converse with him in my dreams," while his mother "feels his presence in the house." In a [[Announcement 20160709|video]] uploaded in [[July 2016]], Chris reiterates that his father "comes visits me in my dreams nearly every night."

===School bus dreams===
In [[October 2013]], Chris fished for pity from his gal-pal [[Rebeckah Bentley E-mails#Worthless, lack-of-purpose premature death case|Rebeckah]] by saying that all the [[stress]] from family obligations, the trolls, money issues, and paranoia were giving him recurring nightmares involving "school bus trips resulting in driving off the high freeway edges, flying to dive towards a cliff, water, another road or whatever." As if Chris didn't already have enough negative associations with [[Manchester High School#The Bus|school buses]].

===Yahtzee dream===
In a [[January 2014]] [[January_2014_Facebook_Posts#Yahtzee_Dream|Facebook]] post, Chris describes a dream he had in which he played a worded version of Yahtzee. As he describes it, "there was a predetermined crossword pattern on cardboard pieces and a set list of words. And the seven dice had letters and asterisks for blank squares instead of dots for numbers. You roll the dice and match the letters out of them in a word, and you match them up in that cross word. After completing one word, then when you complete another that intercepts the first, that's when you yell 'Yahtzee!'" Unlike Chris's other dreams, he did not seem to read too much into this one.

===Strangler swallower dream===

On 27 [[December 2015]], Chris documented a dream where Marty McFly informed him he swallowed a "strangler". He had no comment on the meaning of the dream.

===Mother dreams===

A [[August 2016 Facebook posts#Incestuous Thoughts|Facebook post]] on 10 August 2016 revealed that Chris has had incestuous dreams about his [[Barb|mother]]. He seems to believe that "everyone" has these sorts of dreams. Fortunately, he clarified that this dream in particular was not prophetic and at the time, he had never had sex with Barb, although he doesn't mind if other mothers and sons have [[Chris and sex|hanky-panky.]]

Little did anybody know that it was an ominous prediction of [[Incest|what was to come.]]

==Typifying Chris's dreams==
Just like those of real people, Chris's dreams can be split into some distinct categories which can tell us more about his motivations, his fears, and his state of mind at the time he dreamt them. It should be noted that the dreams Chris has seen fit to discuss are no doubt the ones which have affected him emotionally and which he thus considers worthy of discussion. It is highly likely that on most nights he simply dreams his Aspie dreams about day-to-day events, just like we all do. Considering what Chris's life is like, these are probably not worth consideration by anyone.

===Wish-fulfillment Dreams===
Freud stated that all dreams were a kind of wish fulfillment. While this has been discussed ''ad nauseam'' and expanded upon by many psychologists in the years since, this represents a good jumping-off point for studying some of Chris's dreams. As one example, Chris's dog died, and he wanted to know that she was happy, so he dreamt that she was in heaven. This is simple enough (though it does raise questions about [[Chris and death|Chris's ability to work through his grief]]). Also related to this are dreams when he is back at high school, in dumbass classes where he wasn't affected by the cruelties of real life, surrounded by [[gal pal|gal-pals]] and still svelte enough to fit into his Ash Ketchum costume. The anachronistic appearance of Megan in these dreams serves to confirm that they represent mental wish fulfillment on his part. Chris wants to go back to high school, and his mind allows him to do so.

===Aspirational dreams===
Chris's dream about Crystal, and those he attributes to the influence of God, represent a far less common and somewhat more problematic type of dream--one which seems to create aspirations in the dreamer. These dreams are extremely rare, in many cases happening only a handful of times in an entire lifetime (according to Jung). Chris's dream about Crystal, considering it happened at such an early age, likely coincided with a major period of psychological growth in his life (what little we know about Chris's life at this time may support this notion), which would have inflated an otherwise small thought in his mind to a highly emotional aspiration. To have remembered this dream for so long suggests a feeling of bliss or enormous happiness at the time of dreaming, which he now associates with the content of the dream. Crystal therefore represents less an actual wish for a daughter (as Chris doesn't know shit about raising children and is too lazy and self-centered to do it well) and more a desire to return to the state of happiness he felt in his sleep, likely at a moment of extreme personal catharsis within his waking life.

===Nightmares===
Given Chris's [[Parody|total lack of imagination]], his nightmares seem shockingly vivid. The particulars of what they represent are a job for a psychologist of a level above that of a [[Rocky Shoemaker|church counselor]] (although the acid factory dream is simple enough to understand--Chris hates [[alcohol]] and [[tobacky]]), but their apparent muffled severity offers us some hope that within the stagnating mass of lard and stupidity that is Chris, there is a voice of reason struggling to escape like a drowning man screaming madly for the surface. If Chris ever discovers the core of the turmoil indicated by his nightmares and what they represent, it would very likely destroy his perspective on the world and he may finally continue on the path towards psychological maturity.

'''A-Logging''' is a term used to describe one expressing disproportionate levels of hatred for Chris, often including wishing him physical harm, usually for perceived "crimes" that Chris is "guilty" of. The people who do this are known as '''A-Logs''', and are considered at the other end of the spectrum from [[white knight]]s; where white knights try to defend Chris from [[trolls]] and help him to improve his situation, A-Logs hold the belief that Chris is deserving of whatever scorn and harm he is subjected to, and then some. A-Logs are sometimes interchangeably referred to as [[weens]], as many A-Logs also tend to be weens and vice-versa, although weening has a different meaning to A-Logging, namely unfunny or failed attempts at trolling Chris. While once fashionable, A-Logging has become associated with people trying to "trollshield" themselves, like the original A-Log, and therefore is looked down upon by Christorians.

The term originates from '''Anthony "A-Log" LoGatto''', a [[YouTube]]r who is known for making what can charitably be called "commentaries" on Chris. Commentary videos are meant to refute bad points and offer opinions on an opposing view; what A-Log did was make videos where he reacted to Chris, pointed out the obvious, and went on tangents about how Chris is an awful person (and how he, A-Log, is better) who needs to have harm inflicted upon him. However, A-Log's monomania led trolls to wonder what he was trying to hide, leading to them doing a bit of research on him. The result was that A-Log became known as "Chris-Chan 2.0" because, as it happened, he had many, ''many'' faults similar to Chris himself, [[Hypocrisy|and could easily be considered worse than Chris]]. Among other things, he is a furry, has made terrible erotic fanfiction, is doing a laughable college radio show (from which he was almost fired after being caught [[Mass debating|watching]] [[Bob Walks In|porn]] in the studio), was the subject of a leaked video of him doing a painfully bad stand-up routine, and much, much more. Ultimately, A-Log became subject to trolling himself, and is the inspiration for this very term. At one point, A-Log even received his own wiki called the "Logattopedia", which was relatively short-lived and unpopular. He also spawned the phrase "Hi, A-Log!", used to mock A-Logs and other Internet "tough guys".

==Features of A-Logging==
There are a few qualities which are common in A-Logs, and many of them can be seen in the original A-Log's commentaries.

===Justifications for trolling Chris===
Some would argue that it is sinister and just plain wrong to mock a mentally deficient person such as Chris. A-Logs therefore try to justify trolling him by arguing that, regardless of his [[autism]] and other undiagnosed problems, he has shown that he is a bad person who "deserves" to be trolled. Many A-Logs are themselves autistic, and they can often be heard making arguments along the lines of Chris "giving autistics a bad name." Others will appeal to his many instances of bigotry (most of them debatable) as reasons to troll Chris. By establishing that Chris is a bad person, it seems to justify that Chris not only deserves the treatment he currently receives, but also deserves physical and/or psychological harm inflicted on him.

While Chris has done some horrible things, including [[October_2013_Facebook_Posts#Megagi_La_Skunk_agrees_that_you_should_have_never_been_born|cursing his ex-friend for trolling him]] (which of course, she didn't) and [[28 October 2011|hitting a game store owner with his car]], it is still somewhat ironic that A-Logs think the best recourse is to wish him death and curse him back. Not to mention, they tend to ignore the factors that led Chris to behave in this way--unsurprisingly, unbridled malevolence is never one of them, as discussed in further detail below.

===Trollshielding===
Often times, people who A-Log Chris do so to "[https://encyclopediadramatica.rs/Troll_Shielding trollshield]", that is, to avoid becoming subject to trolling themselves. Like A-Log himself, they tend to have many traits in common with Chris; they generally have an autism spectrum disorder, still live with their parents well into adulthood, are unemployed and/or are living off welfare, are sexually frustrated virgins, have trouble socializing and forming relationships, and/or are fixated on cartoons, toys and other things that most people their age would have little interest in beyond their nostalgic value. Some perhaps have even more faults than Chris, especially bizarre fetishes, as seen in the case of A-Log himself. However, A-Logs will argue that at least they are "not like Chris" and are fervent in their vitriolic condemnations of Chris so that people don't troll them instead. More often than not, as in the case of the original A-Log, this backfires and they find themselves becoming the subject of trolling.

==Arguments against A-Logging==
While Chris is far from perfect, it is generally accepted that calling for him to be harmed or abused like A-Logs do merely legitimizes Chris's sense of victimization, and makes the A-Logs themselves look sociopathic and unbalanced.

===Chris is not Hitler===
While the [[CWCki]] certainly doesn't vindicate any of the bad or stupid things Chris has done, what A-Logs ''must'' understand is that Chris, while he may not exactly be a likable person, isn't guilty of "crimes" that must be punished with violence or abuse. We really shouldn't need to point out that Chris being compared to people like Saddam Hussein and Adolf Hitler is at best hyperbolic, and at worst, utter insanity. Hitler was responsible for the death of nearly 11 million civilians during World War II.<ref>[http://www.jewishvirtuallibrary.org/jsource/Holocaust/36qs.html 36 Questions & Answers About the Holocaust]</ref> Hussein actively persecuted and murdered almost 200,000 Kurds and Shiite Muslims.<ref>[http://civilliberty.about.com/od/internationalhumanrights/p/saddam_hussein.htm]</ref> Chris's antics hardly compare to the atrocities committed by two feared and reviled dictators; he's just a gullible idiot who spends his time trying to hit on women (very badly) and make them his [[sweetheart]]s, [[Tomgirl|crossdressing]], and playing [[vidya]].

While he ''is'' quite prone to [[rage]], [[Ego|ego issues]], and has a noted tendency to wish [[Curse-ye-ha-me-ha|very unpleasant]] [[death threats|things]] on those who wrong him, it should be plain to see that he is simply too lazy, weak, cowardly and incompetent to actually carry out whatever he threatens. After all, do you really think a man who [[Don't Mess With Me|has to spend nine seconds to open a Swiss Army knife]] is capable of killing anyone? Plus, there's only [[The GAMe PLACe#Chris's Attitude at the GAMe PLACe|one extant account]] of him even getting close to fighting someone, and in that instance, he pussied out, so it seems that even Chris himself knows that there could only be [[Kick the Autistic|one outcome]] if he ever tried to get violent with anyone. Moreover, when taking Chris's childlike mental state into account, it's also quite possible he doesn't fully understand the gravity of what he wishes upon people when making death threats, especially when he's blinded by anger.

Chris is also known to exact violent retribution from those who have wronged him in his fictional works, which A-Logs tend to use as evidence of him being evil or psychopathic. For example, he is known to have beaten up representations of his real-life enemies in ''[[Soul Calibur]]'', and subjected some of them to particularly gruesome deaths in the ''[[Sonichu 8|Sonichu]]'' [[Sonichu 10|comics]]. However, not only are these gory episodes in [[CWCville]] isolated incidents, but again, one must remember that he is resorting to this because he is sensible enough to realize that he could not do this in real life, due to his own weakness and because he knows he'll be punished for it, which is, in itself, an encouraging sign. Moreover, even if this were taken to be evidence of a violent streak, it does not merit abuse or punishment because obviously, he hasn't actually hurt anyone except fictional characters in video games and homemade comics. While violent fantasies like these ''do'' merit anger management classes and/or a few sessions with a psychiatrist, they are ''not'' a green light for A-Logs to demonize Chris; he's mentally ill, and as such needs help, not hate. In addition, while acting out violence in fictional settings is more common among autistic people, it isn't uncommon in the population as a whole; many people find escapism in doing so.

Even compared to many other infamous Internet personalities, Chris is actually fairly benign. While many A-Logs tend to justify their actions by arguing Chris could someday act on his fantasies and commit violence or even rape, they tend to forget about people who have actually done those things. For perspective, fellow lolcow [https://lolcow.wiki/wiki/Vade Vade] is widely believed to have intentionally caused her boyfriend to commit suicide in order to gain sympathy on Tumblr. She then used this sympathy to build a sizable legion of followers who would spam any Tumblr user Vade deemed offensive or unworthy, for a time she practically ruled the site like a micro-dictatorship. Yet for some reason, countless A-Logs direct their scorn at Chris even though his purported violent and authoritarian fantasies have remained exactly that.

A-Logs also tend to turn to the [[October 2011]] [[GAMe PLACe]] incident to try and portray Chris as a truly violent individual. More likely than not, Chris's actions on that day were the result of his mother's influence, his non-existent driving skills, and sheer blind panic rather than outright malevolence.<ref>[[28 October 2011#Email?|"Mom took the wheel"]]</ref><ref>[[DayOut|Chris exhibits poor judgement while driving]]</ref> Likewise, Chris's decision to visit a local [[GameStop]] he was banned from [[26 December 2014|and subsequently macing an employee]] who tried to get him to leave were not the product of malevolence on Chris's part. It was caused by Chris's [[Chris and reality|assumption]] that he would be allowed in because he was [[Honor roll|in disguise]], and [[Ego|because he]] [[Autism|had decided]] that his ban didn't apply because he was there to buy, not to [[Sonic Boom Protests|vandalize merchandise]], which had got him banned in the first place. Additionally, the leaked video of the incident shows Chris merely spraying at the employee's shirt rather than his face, which lends credence to Chris's own account that he was simply issuing a warning shot in case the employee tried to detain him, or merely spraying in his general direction as a parting, [[Tomgirl|sassy]] "fuck you" to the staff, not trying to actually harm the man. All in all, the GameStop incident was caused not by a violent streak, but rather by Chris's persistent habit of trying to circumnavigate rules when they inconvenience him, and his tendency to forget the consequences of his actions.

===There's no legal defense over attacking Chris for real===
Perhaps the best reason against A-Logging is the legal liability (i.e. being charged with and possibly convicted for stalking, terroristic threats, assault, or a myriad of other possible charges). Whatever feelings you may have against Chris, there is no legal defense for taking the law into your own hands, and chances are you will end up with a [[Idea Guy|life-changing felony conviction]]. In addition to this, part of the charm of watching Chris is in his eternal rage over a nonexistent enemy. Committing actual violence would only legitimize Chris's victim complex, and likewise would, in such a circumstance, make ''you'' the villain.

===Chris's beliefs are simply ignorant, not supremacist===
While Chris has held some politically incorrect, even bigoted opinions in the past, they hardly seem to suggest Chris is an amoral monster. One must consider that Chris was raised by and has spent his entire life around [[Borb|two elderly, disturbed rednecks]]. Of ''course'' he has socially unacceptable beliefs on controversial topics such as race and sexuality--they were given to him by people whose every word he has unquestioningly accepted since he was young.

Aside from this, Chris's discomfort around black people likely has more to do with [[Bob]]'s influence and his own failure to understand social norms. Chris simply doesn't understand that one does not publicly announce they are discomforted by African-Americans; this is far from the outright ideology of white supremacy that your average neo-Nazi would have. Chris has no history of actually going out and lynching blacks or other minorities that discomfort him. Chris's notable offenses have been applying stereotypes to and picking on the black kids who defeated him in [[TCGs]] at the GAMe PLACe, as well as using "Jew" as a pejorative against [[Michael Snyder]], who Chris inaccurately thinks is Jewish, and taking photos of an elderly black woman who was giving him "a hard time" and putting it on Facebook without her permission. One of Chris's grievances, if you can call it that, is that non-white women don't fit his ideal vision of a [[sweetheart]], which he constantly fails to properly articulate; it is entirely possible for a non-racist white man to not be sexually attracted to non-white women. Chris has also used the racial slur of "nigger" in a few of his means of communication, though he shows some degree of reservation where he uses this word. During the [[Lars Call]], Chris showed great apprehension towards using the word "nigga" and only did so when Lars gave him implicit permission. One of the most famous instances of Chris's use of the word "nigger" is in his video confronting [[Surfshack Tito]] on his trolling efforts.<ref>[[Chris Drops the N-Bomb#Video|On camera use of the word "nigger"]]</ref> In this video, Chris's racism is often found humorous as Tito is Hawaiian, not black. Moreover, Chris's usage of the word in [[Don't Trust Any Homos Over There]] is the result of it being an adaptation of a song from the racially-charged show ''[[Adult Swim|The Boondocks]]'', and pure laziness to change every racist part in the song to homophobic parts. When one examines Chris's use of the word, he does not show any understanding of the complexity, history, proper context, or underlying implications of the slur.<ref>[[Surfshack Tito E-mails|Chris's liberal use of "nigger"]]</ref> He simply repeats it blindly as he knows that it is edgy and offensive to black people.

In regards to his homophobia, while his reasons are ill-informed at best, again, Bob is the likely source of Chris's dislike of homosexuals,<ref>[[Matthew Noble call#Transcript|"[...]conspired together with a couple of other people- kids there that I think were gay[...]"]]</ref><ref>[[Tomboys And Tomgirls of Virginia#Re: Coming out to my parents|"[...]and my father threw the damned "fag" card at me."]]</ref> not to mention the fact that Chris has had very little friendly interaction with ''anyone'', never mind true homosexuals. It is also worth noting that trolls are at least partially to blame for his hatred of homosexuals, as they would often pretend to be homosexuals, or spam his websites with homoerotic images, to get under his skin, not to mention that they often pretended to be black for the same reasons. As a result, Chris, in his autism, began to believe that all trolls are gay black men, thus cementing his disdain for both homosexuals and black people, as he thought they were responsible for the trolling he was subject to. A-Logs also like to appeal to his attempts to "cure all the homos" with a vaccine made with his blood in the comics as proof positive of his homophobia. While this may be so, it is often seen as unintentionally funny by Christorians--not only because it shows his ignorance of science, but also because vaccines are made with dead cells infected with the disease they are curing--meaning that Chris unknowingly implied that he was gay. In short, Chris is ''not'' the Westboro Baptist Church--he doesn't go around picketing the funerals of dead gays, nor is he head of a power-lobbying group against LGBT individuals in Washington. He's just a redneck who's too indoctrinated by his parents and unused to minorities, or the concept of people being different to him, to know better.

It is also worth noting that with Bob gone, and [[Barb]] soon to follow, Chris has begun to emerge from his parents' influence, and has back-pedalled on his bigotry towards minorities. In particular, Chris has begun to express his desire to become a lesbian transwoman, and has accordingly publicly apologized for his old bigotry towards homosexuals, first on Facebook, and later [[Apology for past homophobic comments and homophobia.|in a YouTube video]], and he has become a staunch supporter of LGBTIQ rights. He has even been attending [[Impulse Gay Social Club|gay bars]], the one thing he said he'd never do.

===Chris just cannot get a job===
Some A-Logs contend that Chris is a bad person because he "steals" [[taxpayer money]]. Ignoring the fact that Chris's tugboat is a tiny sliver of government spending, what is almost always overlooked by A-Logs who make this claim is that it wasn't Chris who applied for social security disability; it was Bob who applied for it and convinced Chris that he would make more from disability benefits than working at a minimum wage job. Realistically, Chris didn't have any say in the matter because Bob was the head of the house, and as such it was at his whim that Chris had food, shelter and clothing.

So why doesn't Chris "get off his lazy butt and earn his keep"? Well, because there are a couple of very difficult barriers that stand in his way that many A-Logs simply don’t take into consideration.

First, there is the bureaucratic red tape and regulations involved in someone working full-time while receiving disability benefits. Ironically, it isn't Chris sitting around playing video games day after day while living on government handouts that would likely get him in trouble for disability fraud, it would be working full-time at a minimum wage job while still getting a disability check that would get him in trouble.

Second, there is the issue of Chris's lack of preparation for independent living, as well as his lack of coaching in finding a job and being able to keep it. Moreover, given the existence of this wiki, and the fact that it is standard these days for employers to Google potential employees, it would more likely than not take someone working in human services or in the employment field (that has ''extremely'' good connections) and a job coach (on a long-term basis) to convince a skeptical employer to give Chris a realistic chance at successfully getting and keeping a job. In addition, given Chris's rap sheet, even under ideal circumstances Chris's chances at decent employment may be slim at best. Chris has been convicted for the events of 28 October 2011 and 26 December 2014, which would deter potential employers, regardless of his ability to perform to tasks they set him. While it may sound attractive to the uninformed to "[[Kick the Autistic|kick his ass]]" when it comes to Chris working, in reality there are deep-seated issues that go way beyond the expertise of a few trolls, and no amount of A-Logging can change this.

===Chris is just an idiot===
Chris is not mentally retarded as defined by medical standards and [[Exposing Jeff|as he claims]]. His IQ is within normal range. What trips him up is his lack of common sense. He actually believed that an [[Vanessa Hudgens|attractive celebrity]] was interested in him sexually and that he was talking to her. He used to insist that he'd had many [[sweethearts]], all very attractive women, and never seemed to find it curious that they all either died, disappeared, or were unmasked as trolls. He is an easy mark, not a criminal mastermind.

===Most people can avoid being trolled===
Chris ''does'' share traits with a lot of people, and some of these traits are quite disturbing and embarrassing. It's a fair assumption that a lot of people who follow Chris's antics are unemployed gamer losers, for example. A lot of people have seen Chris and uttered in their minds "Finally, here's someone who's more pathetic than ''I'' am!"

But before you fall into the fallacy of believing that vociferously condemning Chris will save you from the same fate, remember that having embarrassing traits like Chris's ''doesn't'' automatically make you subject to the sort of trolling Chris has had. It ''may'' make you subject to ridicule, but what's more important is how ''you'' respond to the ridicule. You could be like Chris and get [[Chris Calls Clyde Out|BLANGRY]] at every traitorous troll [[Laughs Under Lucricities|under lucricities]], and give the trolls power over you just like Chris did.

Or you could laugh with them at your faults, or even just ignore them and go about your business. Trolls generally aren't interested in people they can't coax a reaction out of. This vital recognition is something Chris never managed, and what set him down the path to perennial trolling in the first place. All in all, if you don't want to end up like him, A-Logging isn't the way to do it. But avoiding the myriad of mistakes Chris and A-Log made is.
