	::Just read it again, He said that she couldn't be transferred, and that "the fucktards at ED had given Chris the $400 Gamestop giftcard", so that could mean he was referencing to him winning the card, rather than receiving it and he was going in to buy $1 items anyway at the time as an excuse.
