I can't believe I almost forgot it was the CWCki's birthday today, but thanks to "This Day in Christory," I was reminded. I had some longer spiel to go on about but I'll briefly give a brief sort of statement on the CWCki.

One year ago this day, [[User:Cogsdev|Cogsdev]], the humble billionaire heiress of an airship baron, moved the CWCki to its current MediaWiki form. Prior to that, it was a shitty wiki format that was really weird where you couldn't do periods without a special notation or some sort of shit like that. People really didn't use it except to paste [[Questions for Chris]] as Chris was still visiting IRC then.

I was the second user to register on the site and I was like "Holy shit, I can do stuff" and so I remember making a shitton of page stubs. The front page was [http://cogsdev.org/w/index.php?title=Main_Page&oldid=38058 very modest], mostly listing things that needed to be done. In March 2009, [[User:Clydec|Clyde]] was good enough to <strike>rip off the front page of ED</strike> create a classy looking front page and Gleefx (I think that's who he is) made a neat logo for the corner.

In May or so, to account for PVCC being closed for public registration, a [[Fan:Index|fan index]] was created to allow people to post their fan works in a public forum and to help catalog trolling culture.

In June, in response to discussion to what to do if [[CWCki:Community_Portal/Archive_1#If_Chris_Discovers_CWCki_-_Policy_Vote_type_deal|Chris ever discovered CWCki]], a sister project, [[CWCipedia]] was founded for the exclusive use of Chris and much drama has ensued.
