I Love Lucy is a 50s sitcom involving the antics of Lucy Ricardo, who is married to popular night club act Ricky Ricardo. Mostly due to the fact Chris's parents are ancient and would remember when this show was first on the air, Chris has taken a liking to it and has made several references to it.

- Chris's cat Lucy and Desi are named after the show's lead couple, Lucille "Lucy" Ball and Desi Arnez.
- Chris's Spanish name Ricardo Weston Chandler may have been inspired after Ricky Ricardo.
- In the KCWC Top 10 Dedication Special, Chris mentions Vitameatavegamin, a medicine from an episode of I Love Lucy that was mostly alcohol.
- Chris names a hotel after Ricky Ricardo in his Spanish project Hotel Ricky Ricardo.
