There are many other documentaries on YouTube; so, it is ambiguous and slightly unfair to other documentaries. I believe Fredrik Knudsen's documentary has more views than Sachumo, not saying, that one is better. :I agree with renaming this article. However, I think your suggestions could be simplified a little more - so perhaps Sachumo Documentary or Chris Chan Documentary (being the official title, no need for a year in parentheses). I suppose if a page is created for the Geno Samuel documentary, the Chris Chan Documentary page may eventually become a Disambiguation page. --Rossticus (talk) 12:50, 10 March 2019 (UTC)

Should this be moved to "Chris in the Media?" Does this fit into any existing category? User:Asperhes 2/3/15

    • Maybe we should make a "Movies" category and put American Rabbit and Star Wars in there, too, and maybe the stub template too. --FromtheWordsofBR (talk) 00:29, 3 February 2015 (UTC)
    • This documentary is a very different animal from American Rabbit. It's actually about Chris. In that sense it seems like it would better fit with other news items about Chris. Maybe a movie category would be a good idea, but I would argue against putting this doc there. User:Asperhes 2/3/15 (in this time zone)
    • Perhaps we should move this article to the "Chris and the Media" and bunch up American Rabbit and Star Wars into an article called "Chris and Movies"? Maybe put in a couple more movies as well that Chris has/had talked about potentially? User: FoxofGrey 3/2/15 (EST)

Thoughts?

Any thoughts or opinions on the documentary, for those who have finished? I thought it was quite well done for a fan-made film, and it was certainly admirable that he put as much dedication into as he did (i.e. the few interview clips with one of Chris's teachers). However, I did feel he left out a fair bit of info on the Asperchu and Tomgirl sagas, and especially with few to no mentions of his ego, albeit still trying to be unbiased. But, then again, it was simply supposed to be an hour-long summary, compared to the MOUNTAINS of information regarding Chris and co. here, so I could see why the narrator chose to not delve so deep, given the time-limit.

Personally, I've always seen Chris as a staple of narcissism, if anything, so I still feel that was worth some mention. Boomhauer (talk) 00:57, 4 February 2015 (UTC)

I'm only 54 minutes in it but I'm finding it really good so far. --FromtheWordsofBR (talk) 01:03, 4 February 2015 (UTC)

I think this should be moved to 'Chris in the media' along with whatever amount of info we have on spazkids animated series on him. Ebolakitten (Ebolakitten) 22:57, 1 March 2015 (UTC)

Should the Sonichu 101 video like be mentioned here?

Chris liked Sonichu 101, the video Merryweathery recommended him to watch. Should that be mentioned in this article somewhere, as the kind of video he likes?

The article itself has more to do with Chris' discovery and reaction of Sach's documentary. Unless this has some sort of connection to Chris' discovery or reaction of the documentary, I'd say mention it a bit in "Chris and journalism" as an example. To me, this particular video should probably be used as an example for how Chris prefers to be documented, which I've suggested should be a new section for the Journalism article. Any rebuttal?

Inappropriate title
