== Screencap video to preserve annotations? ==
Since YouTube is removing all annotations from videos (or so I understand), I think we ought to screencap the existing video to provide a mirror with annotations preserved, similar to the audiobooks with their wiseass commentary annotations. I'm going to screen-record the video with annotations on now, if it needs to be put up alongside the current video I'll do so. Video Missing

Chris removed it. Already checked the CWCville Library, but couldn't find a copy there. --Anaconda 22:55, 8 September 2009 (CEST)

Why?

Why's he showing us old comics? As they proved something? He hasn't drawn any new Sonichu stuff in ages. He might as well abandon Sonichu, seeing has he's utterly forgotten and neglected the plot. --Megaman 11:15, 26 July 2009 (CEST)

  • To show he's the TRUE and HONEST Christian Weston Chandler because only he has the original art from the comic. --Champthom 11:19, 26 July 2009 (CEST)
  • Sorry about that, I didn't notice there were two articles for the same video, but neither of them were created by me. --Megaman 11:21, 26 July 2009 (CEST)
  • Why the god awful sexist annotations? Does he talk to women like that IRL? That must be a treat to witness. --Hayate666 14:04, 26 July 2009 (CEST)
  • According to LoveYouLongTime and Podmonkey, yes. PickleSuitFTW 19:52, 26 July 2009 (CEST)
What the fuck is Tom-Tom? And why does he want a duck to pound him? And who the fuck locked up Vag again? That's the fifth time this week we need to liberate her. Jesus. Evang7 20:36, 26 July 2009 (CEST)
Tom-tom is a type of a drum - the small drums in a normal drum kit. Drums are, um, pounded - though most people usually merely beat them normally. Most people also use drumsticks instead of ducks, though I haven't been to enough different types of concerts to know what's going on in all of them. Perhaps they did that in classic jazz era when Bob bought his records. Maybe that's why they bombed Glenn Miller's plane out of air. Gah, I need to go to sleep. =) --wwwwolf (wake me when you need me) 23:38, 26 July 2009 (CEST)
Yes, but that's not what Chris got the idea from, see China#Tom-Tom for the ugly truth. --Megaman 23:59, 26 July 2009 (CEST)

Suggestion for comic commentary

I've probably seen it before but I can't think of what it's called, but how about for the part where he goes into commenting on the comics, we have a two column table sort of deal (sorta like the one in Sonichu:The Animated Series but not sortable and without headings) where on the left is a thumbnail of the drawing in discussion and a transcript of what Chris says is on the right.

We don't have to do that but something that'll juxtapose the comic page in discussion with what Chris says may be helpful so people know which image Chris is talking about without having to go look it up or figure which of the drawings he's referring to. --Champthom 22:52, 26 July 2009 (CEST)

Captain's log

He doesn't announce "captain's log" at the beginning. To my mind, this means the article should be re-named as it is not a TRUE and HONEST captain's log. Thoughts? --Delabonte 16:26, 26 July 2009 (CEST)

I agree. Evang7 20:36, 26 July 2009 (CEST)
  • We've discussed this before. Any video that is addressed to his general fanbase is a Captain's Log. Yes, it's a sucky system (in my personal opinion) but you all had the chance to voice your opinions here and it was decided we'll stick with the status quo. --Champthom 21:33, 26 July 2009 (CEST)
    • I agree with this, the video doesn't start with Captain's Log, but neither did the first few entries, as they are categorised. This video fits with the Captain's Log series, since it's Chris talking about his life to a general audience. I say the page should be moved back. - unsigned comment from User:Great Briton.

"Watchmen...

One of us got told off by CWC last night. Somebody knows why. Somebody knows."

"I heard he'd been working with those damn, slanderous trolls, maybe it was a retaliation."

"Maybe. Or maybe somebody's flippin' off pickle-suited heroes."

"Clyde thinks... That there's going to be newfags."

"What if that's why someone wants us out of the way? So we can't do anything to stop it? An attack on one, is an attack on all of us."

"Watchmen are over... What do you suggest we do about it?"

"Devine Retribution."

"We can troll this faggot."

They troll over him

But who trolls them?

"Why would I show my troll a guy, in a world where he threatens to punch my lights out?"

"Do it for china."

Monty Python

I love how he brought up Monty Python during his usual "GAYS ARE BAD" rant; I take it he doesn't know about Graham Champman? --Lime (Scold? | Undo?) 00:04, 27 July 2009 (CEST)

Even if he didn't know that, he doesn't understand Monty Python's humor when it comes to gays. When it comes to homosexuality the Python gang thought cross dressing was absurdly silly, but they never made any claims that it was "evil" "unnatural" or "immoral" without sarcasm. They thought making IRL tough guys like army Sargent into sissys was hilarious simply because it's a contradiction. Chris is such a lost cause. --Super Fighting Robot Megaman!
