Would there be any objection to moving the showdown phone call to it's own page?  Now that we've got a lot of phone calls on this wiki I was thinking about giving the showdown phone call to it's own page and sprucing up the transcript.  --[[User:Sack Thaddic|Sack Thaddic]] 00:41, 8 December 2009 (CET)

Okay, we need to separate the facts from the trolling. The joke is hilarious, but we are a wiki. At some point, we have to provide info. I gave it shot. Still needs moar pictures. --Jump 05:49, 27 July 2009 (CEST)

This is just personal opinion and it's obviously going to be hard to entirely wind the gears backwards with this joke, but I think that a good way to reuse this joke when it inevitably runs its course would be to act like Chris-chan has died and that the mimic is merely assuming his place to fill the gap he would leave in all our hearts, and taking over the reigns on Sonichu in his honor. I can only imagine how Chris-chan would react to that. Evang7 03:44, 30 July 2009 (CEST)

A bit esoteric for my taste, but a decent idea. --Jump 01:00, 1 August 2009 (CEST)

Suggestion for the lulz: Both CWC's are TRUE and HONEST, except CChanSonichuCWC is from an alternate dimension where his parents died early, and he ended up adopted by a family that taught him about social interaction, basic hygiene, and got him professional help for his autism; so he ended up becoming eccentric-but-lovable.

Or else they're both clones from the Les Enfants Autistcs program and Chris-chan just got the short end of the gene stick (will Chris start aging early? Will CChanSonichuCWC get his arm cut off and then grafted onto Clyde Cash and take over Clyde's mind?). Needlepants 23:18, 4 August 2009 (CEST)

Liquid Chris

When is it appropriate to label CChanSonichuCWC as "Liquid" Chris? Decoy Octillery 06:20, 5 August 2009 (CEST)

  • To differentiate from Solid Chris. --Champthom 06:20, 5 August 2009 (CEST)
    • Cute. Decoy Octillery 06:25, 5 August 2009 (CEST)
      • We need a Solidus as well then--Pikimon 01:34, 6 August 2009 (CEST)
        • I vote David Gonterman. He's older than both of them, has many of the same properties, such as: he makes horrendous barely-changed-from-original-material comics and (fan)fiction (if you're a masochist, check out his DeviantART account or google "Scarlet Foxfire"), can't draw or write to save his life, persists relentlessly despite his lack of talent, was trolled mercilessly in his prime, most likely fat and has brown hair and glasses (if that one picture floating around of him is real), and has had some 'sweetheart' troubles in the past (though not as many as CWC, but there was LilMarcieMouse, who apparently was much younger than him) .. we can always joke that "David Gonterman" is just an assumed name like how Solidus was "George Sears" ...oh, and he has the delusion that he can somehow make it commercially any day now. Needlepants 21:42, 6 August 2009 (CEST)
          • It is a good match but the said person has to be connected to Solid and Liquid.Plus we need

the rest of the cast as well. Eva- Otacon- Akiba- Meryl- etc.--Pikimon 07:13, 7 August 2009 (CEST)

  • I know it was a real tenuous connection and in retrospect it makes no sense, but it was worth a shot, lol. Needlepants 20:23, 7 August 2009 (CEST)
I thought it was obvious that Solidus Chris goes by the name "George W. Bush". Fat Nigger 07:00, 14 August 2009 (CEST)

Identity Theft

Chris's hissy-fit on this issue is made all the worse by his insistence that someone wearing similar clothing and mimicking your speech impediment counts as "identity theft." I don't know much on the subject, but maybe this sign of Chris's irrational jealousy could be incorporated somehow?CDiddles 18:34, 6 August 2009 (CEST)

  • Imposter Chris is just angry that the REAL AND HONEST chris is everything he wishes to be.--Pikimon 21:41, 6 August 2009 (CEST)
  • Actually, does anyone know if Liquid Chris has done any kind of action whatsoever that can be considered illegal? --ThatMan 02:20, 10 August 2009 (CEST)
    • Under the premise of parody, Chris can't accuse of libel. Besides Liquid's impersonation only portraits the good qualities that Chris "possesses", so it could be perjudicial to him to say "Stop that man! He is potraying me as a normal, productive member of society!". --Bystander 05:40, 10 August 2009 (CEST)
  • This. Seriously, Liquid is doing Chris a favor, bringing credit to the Christian Weston Chandler name and Chris could be using this as an opportunity to tell trolls to troll the real CWC. --Champthom 10:31, 10 August 2009 (CEST)

Separate Pages for Liquid's video

While this is normally a site dedicated to the antics of Ian Brandon Anderson (erronously CWC), I think it might be useful have separate pages for CChanSonichuCWC's videos from the CWCivil War (the early videos we can just briefly mention or link to, that is pre-Ian). However, I'd like some feedback first before starting anything. Any thoughts? I suggest this since Liquid is to the best of my knowledge the first troll who has released a series of videos to which Chris has responded to (as opposed to just IMing Chris or making videos that, while my notable individuals, are not addressed by Chris or making videos that are popular involving Chris but Chris is not aware of).

Also, since I have a feeling Liquid might be deleting his videos as he's going to Redmond, I'll have to ask the TheCWCvilleLibrary Archivist if she can archive Liquid's videos for posterity. --Champthom 19:09, 16 August 2009 (CEST)

  • Liquid has just released his second video since his disappearance. If Chris reacts to it and the new video gets included, this page is going to get cluttered as new developments continue. I think the best thing to do would be to have this page be simply about CChanSonichuCWC the man, with two or three separate pages giving accounts of the various sub-sagas (Pre-Ian CWCivil War, Ian and the SingStar Challenge, and The Return of the King or whatever). Then on this page, there can be a few sections that give a brief summary of those events and then link to those main pages. Alteceastlansing 05:46, 22 October 2009 (CEST)

Idea here

We should convince Chris-chan that CChanSonichuCWC was mistaking him for a different person who really WAS named Ian Brandon Anderson all along, and that the TRUE and REAL Ian has indeed kidnapped him. If anything I'd love to see how Chris would react to that, if at all. Evang7 02:28, 17 August 2009 (CEST)

Rewrite

With everything that happened in the second half of the Liquid Saga, this page could really use a rewrite.

Maybe a name change as well. "Liquid Chris" flows off the tounge much better than "CChanSonichuCWC". I mean, Vivian Gee isn't known by her YouTube screen name. --Beat 01:49, 18 November 2009 (CET)

Agreed. I don't know how to rename shit, but I can update the article --Jump 03:26, 21 November 2009 (CET)

  • I'm starting to consider a renaming as well. When the article was first created (I think I created it), I had no idea what to call it as the "Liquid" differentiation wasn't coined yet or at least not yet caught on, but since the Liquid Chris name has indeed caught on and any troll will know what you're talking about. Thoughts, people? --Champthom 00:18, 27 November 2009 (CET)
  • Yeah, it would suit me fine, it seems to have become the conventional usage. "Liquid Chris" is easier to type when you're linking to it, too. Dkaien 00:56, 27 November 2009 (CET)

Showdown phone call

Would there be any objection to moving the showdown phone call to it's own page? Now that we've got a lot of phone calls on this wiki I was thinking about giving the showdown phone call it's own page and sprucing up the transcript. --Sack Thaddic 00:41, 8 December 2009 (CET)
