What were Bluespike's motivations? The general consensus given what we heard is that he was some sort of apprentice of Clyde's. Clyde goes so far as to claim that the events leading up to julie reveals herself were his doing to an extent. Were the hours of horrifying cybersex with Chris Clyde's idea? Was wit from ED right?

Who Watches the Watchmen
Looking back it baffles me how we didn't see this coming, of course, I was as clueless as anyone at the time, but the signs were there. In the wake of the Idea guys, it made sense for those concerned to try and protect him, however, if we were on the lookout for the new idea guys our first suspects should have been the people who were feeding his delusions and gatekeeping all of his social interactions in the exact same way. We were as delusional as Chris in believing that all these individuals were putting up with his bullshit and the armies of weens trying to get at him solely out of the goodness of their hearts. For these reasons, it was doomed to fail from the start and they did so spectacularly, for not only did they fail to prevent the event for which they exist, but contributed a key player to madness via sean.
