Glass versus Glasses

One of the idiosyncrasies of the English language is that glasses are glasses even if it's one, though if there's multiples, I guess you would say "Pairs of glasses." --Champthom 17:14, 17 May 2010 (UTC)

  • Works for me. I've just never heard "glass" used in the singular to refer to spectacles.
