png is not superior to jpg. they serve different purposes. due to how chris colours in his comics, jpg is preferred, as the artefacts will not be noticeable(unless compression is too high). use png where fine detail and transparency need to be maintained --[[User:Cogsdev|Cogsdev]] 15:51, 7 September 2010 (PDT)
