:*I'd only write "[''waves figures around'']" and then get right into transcribing the chant itself, leaving it to the readers to draw their own inferences from Chris's HFA behavior. Your longer version is funny, but I'd still drop it. [[User:Llort|Llort]] 18:26, 26 December 2009 (CET)

::*Ditto. I also dislike things being described as "retarded" like "Chris begins to speak in a retarded voice." I think it's up to the reader to determine in the context if something is "retarded" or not and "retarded" is a subjective term. Obviously if Chris speaks in a girly voice, then say that as it's pretty universal what a girl's voice sounds like but "retarded" can mean anything. --[[User:Champthom|Champthom]] 08:15, 28 December 2009 (CET)

Rough outline

I REALLY need to go to bed but quick outline

  • unless it's really bad, don't phonetically transcribe everything Chris says - just because he slurs "you" to sound somewhat like "jew" does not mean the transcript should read "jew."
  • link to other articles in transcripts
  • some sort of unified color coding, that sort of shit.

I'll finish this a bit later. --Champthom 11:52, 26 December 2009 (CET)

Individual concerns

I find myself overusing ",uh ," and just commas in general, particularly here. Does this need to be addressed? --Robotnik 13:58, 26 December 2009 (CET)

  • If Chris says it, that's what gets written down. Don't feel like a bad transcriber just because the speech that you're transcribing is an affront to the English language. Llort 18:26, 26 December 2009 (CET)

I find myself taking little liberties when describing the action onscreen. Example:

[Chris waves the two figures around, and recites a strange chant, possibly implying that Sonichu and Rosechu do their housework by levitating and crying out to wicked pagan gods.]

Is this okay, or should I stop?--Beat 17:47, 26 December 2009 (CET)

  • I'd only write "[waves figures around]" and then get right into transcribing the chant itself, leaving it to the readers to draw their own inferences from Chris's HFA behavior. Your longer version is funny, but I'd still drop it. Llort 18:26, 26 December 2009 (CET)
