What actually happened on the 18th day of November?

A bit of odd wording

Was reading through this article again and saw:

“On 3 April, a new troll entered the stage with Future message from Crystal W Chandler, who presented himself to Chris as a messenger of the merge.”

By looking at the video we can tell that Chris is at least complicit in the video while the wording here implies he was tricked. (At least I think it does) Duff101 (talk) 14:19, 31 May 2019 (UTC)

He was complicit in the filming of the video, but not the content of it. On Twitter, he said he thought the guy was his reincarnated son which points to him being tricked. Hurtful Truth Level (talk) 17:06, 31 May 2019 (UTC)

Over?

Chris has stated the Merge is over, and that all that needs to happen now is the 'Collective Shift' into the combined world. Article should probably be updated accordingly. --4CentUser (talk) 18:58, 3 November 2021 (UTC)

Sounds like he's fudging his phrases to fool himself into believing his Merge beliefs are paying off. The point of the Merge is to combine all universes into one, but even in the letter he still refers to the separate Earth 1218 and Earth IC-211987. Maybe put in a note about how he's treating th Merge and the Shift separately and believes the former is done but the latter is still in progress?
