Europe is a continent located entirely in the Northern Hemisphere and mostly in the Eastern Hemisphere. It covers about 10.18 million km2 (3.93 million sq mi), or 2% of Earth's surface (6.8% of land area). Politically, Europe is divided into about fifty sovereign states, of which Russia is the largest and most populous, spanning 39% of the continent and comprising 15% of its population. Europe has a total population of about 745 million (about 10% of the world population) as of 2021.

Since Chris lives on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean, Europe has had a peripheral role in Christory compared to the United States of America. Nonetheless, Chris has a number of ancestors hailing from Europe (especially the United Kingdom). Furthermore, the history, politics and culture of Europe has been mentioned and wielded by both Chris and his trolls to various ends - for example, Chris has appropriated Celtic culture and the Idea Guys have persuaded Chris to include German politics in Sonichu. Chris has also, at times, expressed intentions to visit Europe, though he has yet to do so.
