Sightings

Pre-Jail

The first post-jail sighting of Chris at Walmart
Main article: Pre-jail sightings
...[the Trolls] still come after me in real life, looking to snap photographs of me wherever I am away from my house if they're there at the same time; looking for some "juicy footage" they can misinterpret and misdetail in their own sick ways. They get posted on the damn Cwcki, where such "footage of the Gay Trucker will be rewarded with 'China' and/or 'Pickles'"; it really ticks me off.
Chris, 2010[1]

Since his discovery on the Internet, there have been many sightings of Chris over the years. Chris is notably not fond of people taking Bigfoot style pictures of him for their "gross, uncool amusement".[2]

I'm not Bigfoot
Chris on sightings in December 2023

On 27 March 2023, Chris was released from jail, with the only explanation being "released by court order". Beginning on 1 May 2023, sightings of Chris were reported in various places around Chesterfield County, Virginia. From June onwards, Chris has been spotted in a number of locations around the state of Virginia, including Williamsburg, Lynchburg, Bedford and Ruckersville.

Most of the sightings are initially posted to the r/ChrisChanSonichu subreddit or to Twitter. Most sightings to date have involved Chris either shopping or playing trading card games at game stores. As of August, it has been confirmed that Chris once again has his own car. On several occasions, Chris was seen accompanied by Flutter, which has led to speculation that she might be his newest sweetheart.

Chris and Streaming

Post-Jail

After his release from jail Chris began streaming on YouTube, streaming for the first 6 months after his return and more sporadically afterwards.

Chris's first few streams received a flood of super chats from weens, generating thousands of dollars. The speed at which the super chats came in resulted in Chris frequently losing his train of thought and being unable to answer many of the questions he was asked.
