I'd been researching Chris's first contact with Anonymous, and it turns out that both ED and Chris agree on this date. While the ED article was created on November 3, 2007, early revisions state that Chris was "discovered" on October 31. My assumption here is that 4-Chan discovered Chris that day, or maybe the other way around, and since Chris doesn't know the difference, and 4-channers undoubtedly started the article, that's why the timing is unclear.

If you look at the archived threads from 4-chan on the ED article, they're from November 3 and 4, although the posters discuss Chris with great familiarity. I envision two scenarios:

1) Someone on 4-chan found Sonichu.net and got everyone to start sending Chris fan-art.

2) Chris found 4-chan and tried to promote Sonichu on the boards, never bothering to follow up to see the resulting backlash.

If someone can track down the original thread from that day, that'd be awesome, but otherwise, I suppose the full story may remain a mystery. Dethchemist77 22:11, 16 February 2009 (CET)
