Chris wears a medallion around his neck in homage to his yellow Sonic recolor. In public. As if that weren't lame enough, Chris-chan actually ~~has~~ had two other medallions: The Black_Sonichu medallion, and a Rosechu medallion (which he planned on giving to his sweetheart), suggesting that he has far too much free time on his hands. Triple, in fact, the amount originally suspected.

Chris' main medallion, seen in every single video up until 04 March 2009, and has been poorly duplicated after the original had been received from him in the mail by the FCTC and destroyed. In addition to making a duplicate, Chris also responded by claiming the true power came from his high school ring.

In a Mumble chat on 10 February 2009, Chris revealed the reason for the medallion and that is...because he wanted to. It's "like a nametag" for him. Chris isn't sure of when the medallion was first made, except it was sometime between the creation of Sonichu in 2000 and the first comic in 2004.

The Medallion of Fail also appears around Chris' neck on his driver's license photo.

In several videos, Chris says that in order for it to be a TRUE and HONEST video, it will be of him wearing the medallion.

Under duress by Max on 03 March 2009, Chris shoved the medallion up his ass. Some argue that he merely shoved it between his buttcheeks but in any case, it has been covered in fecal matter.

In a video made on 04 March 2009, Chris is seen without the medallion and has declared that he gets the powers solely through his (mass produced) high school ring, he will no longer wear the medallion. However, since this statement was made without the medallion, this is false and Chris has disproved himself.
