Deletion

I dunno if this needs deletion, but it definitely needs to either get bigger or get zapped. The part about Chris's shit computer is really the only useful bit, the rest is just rehashed from other pages. Lemme at least add one thing that I was thinking about lately... • Ah, I didn't get to explain why. We need a citation of what his computer is, and frankly do we need a thing on 'netiquette"? And getting rid of that, do we need an article article on how Chris uses his computer? This could just go in the FAQ, really. The rest is just fluff. --Champthom 17:27, 25 March 2010 (UTC)
    • Unfortunately, there's really not much to go by on here. As far as I can tell, Chris has only mentioned his machine in Mumble 6 and the ABL call. I thought about making a Chris and Technology page and throwing this in there, but I'm not sure if that would be a good idea.--AdderCress 01:00, 26 June 2010 (UTC)

If this article is to survive, it needs some work done to it. I would have gone ahead and deleted it if it wasn't for the fact a few articles link to it. If someone could shape it up a bit, that'd be great. We even have stuff to add about his computer being broken too. --Anonymax 12:26, 18 November 2010 (PST)

Piracy?

This section provides phantom sources in support of nothing in particular. There is no information here regarding what Chris has torrented or how frequently he does it, and simply asserts that he knows how. It's single specific example, Photoshop, is based on extremely shaking reasoning: Chris is too cheap to pay for Photoshop, therefore he stole it? Please. First of all, it could be a gift. Secondly, he absolutely would pay for it, because he gets free money, has only one inflexible expense ("rent"), is not a saver, and because producing Sonichu (with Photoshop) is one of the few activities he bothers to perform. In other words, this section needs to go even if someone thinks the article can be saved. --Homeless prophet 06:01, 16 June 2010 (UTC)

I don't know about you guys, but I think Chris uses MS Paint, not Photoshop. I was looking at the videos he made under the "ClydeGreggCashMays" account and it looks more like he's using MS Paint. What does everyone else think? --GotAFish 06:11, 16 June 2010 (UTC)
I agree that it looks that way, but he says he uses photoshop, and there's no real reason for him to lie about that. Plus, in that 9/11 vid he did, he was using photoshop (I remember he had trouble with layers) It probably looks that way purely because he's so shit at the program that it fails on levels only previously matched by Paint. A lot of the Mumble chats get mixed together, but I do recall Chris mentioning torrenting anime in one of them.--AdderCress 00:37, 26 June 2010 (UTC)

"Net etiquette" bullshit

Are you living in the 90s? Go back to your own homepages and your Usenet. --Sonijew is back 04:58, 26 June 2010 (UTC)

Interesting results are produced when this is sung to the tune of Running in the 90s. Thelieisacake 14:22, 27 June 2010 (UTC)

Chris has Adobe PhotoDeluxe?

I had removed the line on Chris having Adobe PhotoDeluxe and replaced it with "photo manipulation software" because the citation provided didn't seem to include any reference to image editing software of any kind. TBH, if it wasn't for that citation, I wouldn't have even bothered changing that line, but since it was contradicted by the actual reference I took it out.

Is there another place where Chris mentions the software he uses? – BrianBash 19:31, 13 August 2011 (PDT)

Watch the video in that article closely. For a brief second at the :13 mark you can see the taskbar and it indicates that Adobe PhotoDeluxe is what he's using. --T K 19 19:52, 13 August 2011 (PDT)

New Laptop?

Since in his recent video (As of August 25th)he was given a new laptop, should we add a section for that? It could become important later on (Maybe it somehow tracks searching history or maybe I'm being unrealistic).-Icetailgreg

  • At the moment, I think the minor note that's there should be enough. You're right, it could become important, but at the same time, since we don't want to speculate, what it has there is enough.--Blazer 09:56, 26 August 2011 (PDT)
