So AIDS just gives you a really bad cold? Jesus, he's immature. LStaley416 23:55, 9 October 2009 (CEST)I
- Remember, he only has a childlike understanding of the world; all a kid really knows about AIDS is that you get it from sex, and that it makes it easier for other diseases to kill you. At least that's how I understood it when I was a kid. -- Needlepants 04:08, 10 October 2009 (CEST)
Is it just me or was the sound way more shitty than usually for a captain's log?--Blachman 01:08, 10 October 2009 (CEST)
- It occurred to me while watching this video; that this is what Chris looks like under genuine duress; the kind that actually makes most people worried, not the troll-induced "stress" he always refers to. Someone important to him, someone he knows in the real world, had to go to the hospital, and they thought it was something major like food poisoning. Note that he's the most stuttery and confused when he's talking about his mom being sick. In other words, what little empathy towards others he has is showing here. Yes, I just suggested that he has the capacity for empathy. -- Needlepants 04:08, 10 October 2009 (CEST)
- It could just be that he's suddenly had to come face-to-face with the reality that the one who's enabled him to live the way he has all his life might not be around forever. I mean, having your mom suddenly go to the hospital would scare anybody, but it's got to go much deeper for him since his mom is really the only reason he can live the way he does. --Beat 05:31, 10 October 2009 (CEST)
- I'd say that's definitely a big part of it, that he now knows that his lifestyle would end with his mom; but still, it's Mom... most people don't want Mom (or equivalent figure) to die, selfish manchild or not. --Needlepants
