Cards
Will continue to add cards from Gallery and remove Gallery if no one objects. --Chugger 11:14, 8 January 2010 (UTC)
- Done. --Chugger 10:36, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
- Excellent work, I would never have thought of transcribing the cards.--Champthom 17:48, 9 January 2010 (UTC)
Also, need to wikify the card text transcriptions. In addition, aren't the "stars" suppose to be "Level"? I only dabbled in Yu-Gi-Oh as a teen, so I don't quite recall. --Champthom 21:12, 11 January 2010 (UTC)
- IIRC, yeah, the stars mean the level of the creature/trap card/etc. Higher the star level, stronger the card. Ahh, the wonders of using the anime as a guide --Blazer 21:15, 11 January 2010 (UTC)
- Actually, it's their cost. 4 and under you can just play without any sacrifices, 5-6 needs you to give up another Monster to play it, 7 and up needs 2. It's not necessarily strength; Atlantean Pikeman is level 2, and it's stronger than the level 5 Shapesnatch. --Sum Feller 8:40, 20 June 2011 (UTC)
- Fixed. I've never played Yu-Gi-Oh! or even seen the show, so I don't really know anything about them. Let me know if I screwed anything else up.--Chugger 04:11, 12 January 2010 (UTC)
Dark Magical Chris
Fuck, I know why he drew himself as a female monster. There was this episode early on in the series where a villain trapped most of the characters in their favorite playing cards. Whenever their favorite card got played, they'd physically be their favorite monster. It doesn't surprise me that DMG is Chrissy's favorite. If anything it's the funniest joke Chris ever made at his own expense. But that's no reason to not put this in the Homosexual page right under "Evidence that Chris is gay".--MoarLurk 20:43, 16 January 2010 (UTC)
Official Sonichu Yu-Gi-Oh
There has been a recently announced competition from Yu-Gi-Oh,the Duel To Rule sweepstakes. All minor users(you know who you are) should enter themselves and spread the word.If a troll wins, even if they just have to buy a starter deck or some shit to compete in the tournament, they could make a Sonichu card which would be the perfect torture, seeing as how Sonichu was made famous by someone else.If someone does win, remember to name it "Trollnchu" or some shit like that to avoid copyright infringement. They also get 1000$ and some cards out of it,so it's certainly worth a look. Heart of da cards
Has Chris ever suggested that he believes in the Heart of the Cards, like Yugi does? --MEANWHILE 23:19, 16 July 2010 (UTC)
- I'm not sure if he truly believes it, but he has mentioned it when referring to how he met Megan in the comic. He says something about "turning to the Heart of the Cards to find the best woman", or something like that. It seemed almost as if he thought "the heart of the cards" had guided him to Megan (though that's just my interpretation of his words, I can't be sure). On the other hand, due to the fact that he believes things in the cartoon world effect the real world, he may believe it on some level. I can't be certain though, and I don't really think there's any super-solid proof, but it's an interesting thing to consider. --Chupacabra 01:29, 17 July 2010 (UTC)
I'd really like to...
...Get Chris' decklist for massive lulz. I assume he ran a Level deck, due to the "I'M THE LEVEL-UP KING!" thing. But i assume no one has it, which is sad. --Reimu H 15:12, 30 July 2010 (UTC)
sonichu medallion.
Is it possible chris copyed the medallion idea from yu-gi-oh? yugi has a medallion around his neck wich plays a big part in the show and if I remember correctly the medallion also had an ancient egyption prophecy, just like how chris's medallion has an anchuent cherokian prophecy.
