Talk:Honor roll
Oh, you silly Eurofags and your unnecessary vowels! --Champthom 04:33, 17 February 2009 (CET)
- And you can't remove it, because it's in the article title. ^^ The great American author H.P. Lovecraft would have been proud of us! RachmaninovDESU 05:00, 17 February 2009 (CET)
Can anyone provide information about the fit Chris threw? What was it about exactly?--UncleBastard 12:22, 24 February 2009 (CET)
- None of the monstorous creations he made in art won him the award for creativity, So thats why he had the fit.Drlugae 22:39, 3 March 2009 (CET)
- There's a whole explanation of it in the DVD, BTW. He felt that since he put so much time into his art, he deserved an award. However, as Chris has yet to learn, quantity is not equal to quality. This also explains why he thinks his comics are pure artistic brilliance - it averages out to him spending a A WEEK on a single page of one of his comics. Don't forget, there are webcomic artists who generate the equivalent every single day, and they're 100000000x better than what Chris takes a week to do. So yeah, Chris had a fit because he thought that because he spend over 9000 hours making a shitty cup, he deserved an award for it and did not receive it. --Champthom 08:43, 7 March 2009 (CET)
- And to think, his work is so shit and horrible looking, if he entered them into the Tate gallery, he'd have won the fucking Turner prize :D. Thanks for the info though, much obliged sir!!!--UncleBastard 23:15, 3 March 2009 (CET)
- Wasn't there another piece of
artwork that Chris made that's missing from the gallery, some kind of Sonichu Hotdog or something?Drlugae 01:12, 7 March 2009 (CET)
For what it's worth, I'm not sure him being on the HONOR roll is a lie. I've met plenty of people in my life who got great grades in highschool, but IRL couldn't land in piss if they jumped into a septic tank. William Maize 02:53, 7 March 2009 (CET)
- lol, eurofags and their unnecessary vowels. Anyways, I believe it's usually possible to be on honor roll even if you're taking remedial courses. Class ranking would still benefit those taking advanced courses like AP, but it's very well possible for Chris to get honor roll if he managed to do well in courses like Remedial Math and such. Those sort of classes would technically be considered "mainstream" (part of the reason Chris enjoyed high school is because he was able to take "mainstream" classes as opposed to strictly special ed).
- What I'm getting at though is that I would like to see a bit more about Chris's academic accomplishments, or lack thereof, in the article. Chris might have gotten honor roll, but probably because he was taking Remedial English, Remedial Math, etc. --Champthom 08:43, 7 March 2009 (CET)
- However from the videos The Song of Christian when he was 16, Chris says that he was getting A's in English and then they kept lowering it, he started yelling at the end of the second video because he got an F. I think there's a good he may have got the Honour Roll by default or possibly from doing something stupid like constantly telling his mother and father that his teachers were discriminating against his autism(like he says in Song of Christian) by giving him bad grades, Bob may have got involved somewhere in this. Chris's art
The art I think really belongs in some article like "Chris and art" as the honor roll thing is sorta separate from his lack of awards for his art things. --Champthom 06:57, 31 May 2009 (CEST)
Agreed. Side note, Chris would make a fortune if he sold that Sonic totem on eBay. Graduon4eva 15:38, 22 October 2009 (CEST)
I don't think there's enough unique material for the honor roll info to warrant its own page. I'm pretty sure it's on the high school article as well, along with that bit about some girl patting him on the head afterwards and changing his diapers. V3N0M1300 06:22, 1 December 2009 (CET)
Chris and Intelligence
Does anybody think we should have an article about Chris's intelligence? I know we can't get our hands on an IQ test, but we could analyze him according to Howard Gardner's multiple intelligences or the Triarchic theory. The honor roll could be mentioned as a wildly overblown claim. Skwrr 23:06, 13 December 2009 (CET)
- We really shouldn't be analyzing him on scales like that, as it's too e-psychiatry for CWCki and it sets a bad precedent - everyone has their own theory of why Chris is fucked up and to be fair, only a trained psychologist who can sit down with Chris and do an unbiased survey can really have anything definitive to say about Chris.
- However, this page needs major reworking. This page was sorta a precursor to "Chris and art" when the honor roll thing isn't the same thing as his fail art. The art thing is more like "I'm special, I create brilliant art and nobody recognizes me!" as opposed to honor roll which is like "I'm not stupid, I was on honor roll!" This article really should deal with honor roll, perhaps some of Chris's very major blunders (like thinking 120 is half of 360, for starters) as opposed to his art from high school. --Champthom 09:32, 15 December 2009 (CET)
- Good points, but I still think we should have a "Chris and Intelligence" article if only to round out the "Chris and..." section. It has articles on every other aspect of his fucked-upness. The article in its present state could become that with only minor editing. Skwrr 03:20, 16 December 2009 (CET)
- I also suggested this idea and thought of using the same scales. I was also think we could include things such is failed grasp at science (the gay gene, recycling) and Philosophy (those stupid quotes) and perhaps his lack of common sense. --AntonImausMk2 04:41, 3 January 2010 (CET)
