Man in the Pickle Suit

Do you think the Man in the Pickle Suit and Marvin pages should be merged? I was thinking about keeping them separate. Hurtful Truth Level (talk) 22:23, 28 June 2023 (EDT)

Yeah, they're the same dude, and not really different personas like Clyde and Vivian for example. Most of the time 'Marvin' links to the pickle suit article, even when it's talking about his involvement in the Idea Guys and Guard Dogs, which wouldn't much sense if the article didn't address that. And the Marvin article doesn't really have any information on it, so I added all the Marvin stuff to the pickle suit article. Cereally (talk) 02:51, 29 June 2023 (EDT)
On the other hand, the Man in the Pickle Suit was more of a role that some people took on. So since Marvin's involvement with Christory goes beyond the Pickle Man, a separate page could be justified. Yeah, the linking is an issue. Hurtful Truth Level (talk) 10:53, 29 June 2023 (EDT)

Editing Notes

Hey there, I have a few notes about patterns I've seen in your editing. They're very minor issues, but I kept seeing them pop up, so I thought I'd mention them.

First, you sometimes forget punctuation, mainly periods at the ends of sentences. That's not necessarily a huge issue for items that don't always require them (e.g. captions for quotes and pictures), but I have seen them forgotten on a few sentences in the bodies of paragraphs before. Make sure you're double-checking what you wrote before hitting submit.

Second, references usually go after punctuation, not before. For example, this is not correct[1], this is correct.[2]

Lastly, and this is mostly an aesthetic thing, but linking items with subsections do not require you to include the underscores. Instead of writing the underscores out, you can replace them with spaces. Instead of Praetor#Minor_Members, you can write Praetor#Minor Members.

Just to be clear, I'm not trying to micromanage your editing, I just thought it'd be helpful to point out a few consistencies I've noticed. Feel free to leave me a message here or on my talk page if you want more clarity. Anaxis (talk) 16:02, 2 December 2023 (EST)

Alright. I don't pay too much attention to the exacts of my punctuation, but I will from now on. I also know about the subsection thing, but I just used to keep the underscores in to save the time of removing them. Cereally (talk) 16:14, 2 December 2023 (EST)
  1. Not correct.
  2. Correct.
