Any word on what has happened to the part of the Tugboat taken to pay for rent and credit card debt since Bob's passing? I kind of got the feeling that Bob was the one to make sure Chris paid for all that stuff. I'm not sure if Barb would be up to keeping a thumb on Chris like that, especially when they're dealing with the court stuff. If not, he would have a shit ton of spending money, at least a lot more than before. --[[User:Violettheory|Violettheory]] 20:23, 2 May 2012 (PDT)

== His Financial Future. ==
Would a section on the financial future of Chris be worth adding since Barb can't have much more then 5 years left in her? Chris being the uncaring fuck that he is will probably be thinking about all the games he can buy with the resale of the house and use some of that money to rent a place, but Chris's half siblings may have a claim to whatever the house is worth and could even kick his lazy arse out when the time comes. His financial future is only speculative but may be relevant to this section.

To do

Get citations, add things he's said (there's at least one Mumble chat where Clyde confronts Chris about his finances), etc. --Champthom 03:44, 7 July 2009 (CEST)

We need media, pictures of receipts, recordings of money questions, etc. --Jump 17:39, 7 July 2009 (CEST)

Could somebody add something about CWCville's "Homeless" shelters? It's fucking stupid in many ways, but it really showcases that Chris thinks money just falls out of thin air.--Sonichuistehcool 23:08, 22 December 2009 (CET)

Not just that there's 10 of them, but they're absolutely huge and very well supplied. In Mailbag 20 he gives them the kind of stature a 3-star restaurant have.--OFSheep 02:48, 23 December 2009 (CET)

Monthly tugboat

Braingasm: We merge this with Monthly Tugboat, and have redirect here. Chris and money should cover his source of cash as well as his use of it Jump 05:06, 7 July 2009 (CEST)

I believe the idea was to shorten the monthly tugboat page down to just a definition (as one of the many CWC-ism entries) and then to expand upon Chris and money in general here. Llort 05:31, 7 July 2009 (CEST)

Excellent idea. I love the "Chris And ..." series of articles and the "Monthly Tugboat" is short enough to fill a nice section. Griffintown 23:17, 22 December 2009 (CET)

Sony and credit

The PSP saga begs to be explained, also the Credit Card story is very vague and probably would best be explained through clear citations

C W C Quarters

Wait. There are 2 types of C quarters? --Rye 11:33, 19 November 2009

Chris apparently assigned different monetary values to his first and last initial.
The fact that his first and last initial are both C, and the fact that assigning two values to the same coin is the stupidest idea ever apparently did not occur to him. --Beat 21:14, 19 November 2009 (CET)
How silly. --Rye 12:30, 19 November 2009
It gets better. Chris apparently had a "divine inspiration" moment when he thought up C and W quarters. He figured that in the Sonichu game, a C-quarter would be like a ring, and a W-quarter would be ten rings. Which means that C-"quarters" are the equivalent of either pennies or dimes and W-"quarters" are either dollars, dimes, or in fact quarters to a denomination that's doled out in units of .40 lesser currency. And C-"quarters" are tiny slivers of easily-lost metal with pointy ends. They are a favorite of mine since they are so unbelievably, outstandingly idiotic. Ensign disposable 21:37, 19 November 2009 (CET)
Yeah, I was thinking about how stupid having a C or W shaped coin is. It's rather retarded, but then again this IS Chris we're talking about. How are you supposed to tell the difference between the first type of C quarter and the second? Has he ever explained this? --Rye 17:18, 19 November 2009
I like to think of it as simply that there are W quarters and C quarters, and if 10W=C and 10C=W therefore 100C = C therefore C = 0 therefore W = 0, therefore his money is worthless. Makes perfect sense. Insidious611 05:39, 12 April 2010 (UTC)

Rugby Shirts

I've seen it mentioned in a few places that Chris gets his clown shirts from the Goodwill, but is there a citation for this? Has he given a rationale? We also still need cites for the credit card thing. --sonichuis44 08:47, 29 November 2009 (CET)

Last paragraph

The last paragraph in the article is rather underwhelming; Editor B points out that Editor A was an idiot for thinking that some response from Chris in Mailbag 45 meant something. Requesting permission to take out this paragraph, as it is not particularly relevant, as Editor B points out, and is a rather shitty ending to an otherwise decent article. just wondering

1. Could chris' tugboat get taken away if they(the appropriate government office) knew what he was doing with it?
2. Is that something worth doing? forgive me if this has been discussed before elsewhere. --masta beta alum 23:57, 21 June 2010 (UTC)

This was debated again and again in multiple community interested in Chris. Here's the sad answer; the tugboat is going nowhere. To remove the tugboat, not only you will have to prove that Chris is not autistic (there's ample, medical documents regarding this) but you will need to ask to the bureaucracy to accept they were wrong. So, even with the best intentions and documentation, it can take years if it's not impossible. The way Chris spend the money is not of their concern. I bet they expect such attitude from the barely-functionning part of the spectrum. Griffintown 01:20, 22 June 2010 (UTC)

true. thx --masta beta alum 09:25, 22 June 2010 (UTC)

Soup Hotels for real?

Just saw this after someone edited the page. http://leoweekly.com/news/left-wayside I guess the government really does have money to burn for Chris's dumbass ideas. LAG4U 06:09, 29 July 2010 (UTC)

  • Well, that's not the government, that's a church group working together with some nonprofit organizations. Read the article and you'll find out that the city is kinda pissed about it. --Schuzrum Dias 06:36, 29 July 2010 (UTC)
  • Well as long as the church and nonprofit organizations are involved, I guess it's alright. But the day that 30 story tall CWC approved soup hotels arrive in America, I'm moving to Canada. LAG4U 16:21, 29 July 2010 (UTC)
  • Here is what I can tell you about Hotel Louisville: It used to be a Holiday Inn, but had been vacant ever since I moved back home nearly three ago. The building has 12 stories, and they also offer lodging to travelers starting at $49/night. There is also space for a restaurant on the ground floor, but I'm not sure if that's being used or not. Finally, something to make Chrissy happy: It's across from the McDonald's on 2nd & Broadway. That said, a lot of homeless (who would not be allowed into the hotel, judging by the article I linked) hang out there, so make of that what you will. And there you go. LadyCameron 00:03, 30 July 2010 (UTC)
  • It looks like the poster immediately above me did not read the story. That hotel is ran by a non-profit and appears to be an initiative that keeps homeless families and their children off the streets. I don't think it should be included in this article. Especially considering the absurdity that is Chris. Federal Welfare spending is a very small expense in the grand scheme of things. Chris is far from the norm of the normal SSI recipient. Including a non-profit organization, painting the idea as "terrible" and than including a link to the non-profit is not cool IMO. And for the record, many city governments operate buildings that house homeless and low income families. They just do not call them hotels... 815sox 07:54, 30 August 2011 (PDT)

Chris's Rent?
