Trollsta's Paradise: A True and Honest Tribute to Christian & The Hedgehog Boys is an album created by the now-defunct music group Guwange, released on Bandcamp.com on January 5, 2012 (coincidentally, Chris and Barb faced hearings over trials on the same day). Like the title states, the album consists mostly of covers of Christian and the Hedgehog Boys songs, re-done in a lo-fi folk-punk sound, and includes songs from both their debut self-titled album and their second.

While the album has a lo-fi sound, much of Guwange's covers are far more listenable than the original "songs". Lead singer Rex Rowan may not carry the vocal chords of, say, Freddie Mercury, but regardless he still is actually able to hit the right notes in songs. Also, the poor-quality instrumental backings are instead replaced with acoustic guitars, resulting in a more organic sound.

Scattered throughout the album are audio clips of some videos from Chris, including DrainedCreativity, the first of the April 16 Fetish Vids, and Chris Drops the N-Bomb.

Release

Although it helped gain the band a cult status amongst other CWCkians, the album was released with little fanfare. However, it was a huge success in Molvania. Furthermore, while most of the songs from the album are on YouTube, it cannot be downloaded from Bandcamp.com, only streamed.

Is Chris himself aware of this album?

It is currently unknown if Chris is aware of this album. If this album was released in late 2009, he'd probably throw a hissy fit and claim that Guwange stole his songs, but since this was released in early 2012, it's likely Chris is aware and doesn't care.
