:I refer you to [http://sonichu.com/w/index.php?title=Bob_Chandler&diff=146710&oldid=146704 this] edit which prettymuch sums it up. You reverted an edit that had already been reverted before - and I personally agree that there's no point in using "passed away" when "died" works fine. --[[User:Anonymax|Anonymax]] 21:09, 20 September 2011 (PDT)

As you thoughtfully entitled your talk page message to me - the use of "passing away" is indeed use of weasel words - which should be avoided on wikis. --[[User:Anonymax|Anonymax]] 21:09, 20 September 2011 (PDT)

He's Dead, Jim.

It was decided that the Bob article, and various other places in the CWCki, should refer to him as having died or as being dead - rather than pander around it by saying "passed away". Please refrain from undoing any edits which are contrary to this convention. Thanks --Anonymax 14:27, 19 September 2011 (PDT)
