Ah, I'm getting it now. God I'm sleepy. This kinda invalidates my analysis, though. Oh well. --Jump 04:16, 11 September 2009 (CEST) | Ah, I'm getting it now. God I'm sleepy. This kinda invalidates my analysis, though. Oh well. --Jump 04:16, 11 September 2009 (CEST)
Should we move the analysis that's here to the Official Videobooks page? I'm thinking it would be more appropriate there since so far the stuff there applies to all of Chris's <s>audiobooks</s> videobooks. SirCucumber 20:23, 11 September 2009 (CEST)
*Definitely. Pretty much all the videobooks have the same sort of problems - it's just Chris rushing through reading the comic, fumbling along, with Chris doing all the voices and special effects. It's repetitive to point this out on each individual page. Instead, each page should focus on how it differs from the original comic and maybe a sample (I only say this because we really don't need a frame by frame comparison) of how it differs from the audiobook adapation, just a humorous segment comparing scenes from the audiobooks and Chris's comparison. The episode 2 one that someone did is great, like comparison old narrator's thoughtful description of Sonichu and Rosechu's first kiss, compared to Chris just making random sound effect for the fireworks. --Champthom 21:47, 11 September 2009 (CEST)

Transcription this will be hell, if we choose to do so. I have a feeling he's not going to stop with Episode 1 either (hint hint, wink wink).
Would be interesting to note the differences between Chris's version and Vivian's audiobooks somewhere. --Champthom 02:37, 11 September 2009 (CEST)
oh god, if he does all the fucking issues, that's 19/20 new pages. i'll work on a comparison/transcription asap. (anytime from 30 minutes from now to tomorrow evening) --Jump 02:46, 11 September 2009 (CEST)
I'm not a real contributor here, but do these really need complete transcriptions? I mean, he's just reading it aloud. It seems to me like the most we would need are whatever comments he makes past just reading.--Beat 03:11, 11 September 2009 (CEST)
He now has a third episode up. Should we make a new template for his audiobooks? --Lime (Scold? | Undo?) 03:24, 11 September 2009 (CEST)
Yeah, probably. On that note, I'd suggest we add Chris's Audiobooks to Audiobooks, and stick the comparisons there, as opposed to noting them in the individual pages. unless, of course, interpretations are radically different (DEEP INTO HIS ANUS). --Jump 03:36, 11 September 2009 (CEST)
- DO IT, FAGGOT. Also, as for transcribing, I wish there was a way we could really capture the stupid shit Chris does in the video, like the sound effects, while keeping the non-comic commentary. We definitely need to look at the differences between the comic and how Chris reads it since Chris is cutting A LOT of corners here. --Champthom 03:35, 11 September 2009 (CEST)
- Just call the template Audiobooks (as in Template:Audiobooks). The title of it can be "The TRUE and HONEST Audiobooks." ? --Champthom 04:03, 11 September 2009 (CEST)
- The Audiobooks page should really stick with being about Vivian's audiobooks, the drama that they have invoked, and general stylistic differences between the two. The big thing to focus on is the difference between the comics and Chris's audiobook renditions because Chris is getting stuff he should fucking know like the back of his hand wrong because he's trying to cut corners. --Champthom 03:40, 11 September 2009 (CEST)
Also, anyone, once all the episodes are released (since Chris seems intent on making audiobooks for ALL of his comics) by Comic? Like have a Sonichu 0 Audiobooks page? It's a fair middle ground between having one huge ass Audiobook videos page and 20 individual pages for each episode. --Champthom 03:37, 11 September 2009 (CEST)
Good idea. I tried the transcription, but most of it's just der-der-derrr-der and shit right from the comics (does that really need to be transcribed?). I tried getting accross how insane it all is.--Jump 03:52, 11 September 2009 (CEST)
Organization
Okay, here's what we can do - like I said, each issue could get its own Audiobook page (like Sonichu 0 Official Audiobooks) with the three episodes there. We would then have an overarching Official Audiobook page to cover things like the voices (Sonichu = Chris with a slightly higher voice, Rosechu = Chris with girl voice, etc.) and how they reflect his retcons. --Champthom 04:09, 11 September 2009 (CEST)

Rename
Chris addressed the point that they weren't proper audiobooks by copping out and renaming them videobooks. Excuse me while I ffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffffff. --Champthom 05:12, 11 September 2009 (CEST)
- FFFFFUUUUU-
