Getting money for writing and vanity publishing with the hope that it will net you money isn't the same thing and I don’t think I’ve ever heard of someone making a consequential amount through the second way. Seriously, you’d be better off if you just took a govt grant and loans(I know they happen to be your own Green County and all but...) for the sake of finishing school: the networking you’d get from dealing with the staff would in itself help you at publishing more than anything you’re currently doing.
