The thing is, Omar is actually trying to push the ''Sonic Boom'' franchise in a better direction. The story seems to be better, the game's target audience is anyone as to not alienate hardcore Sonic fans, and there's the titular ''Fire & Ice'' mechanic to improve gameplay. And indeed, the game's reception--although a commercial failure--was mixed, but still generally considered better than the last few games. The fact that Chris only wants to stop this game simply because of ''a character's arm color'' is simply mind-[[Adult Swim#King of the Hill|boggling]].
