I've noticed that when people tell him things that are "inconvenient" to him, he tends to stop making actual replies and starts saying things like "mmm", "alright", "yeah", etc. Am I wrong in believing that something like this should go into this article? :Shit, the average amount of sighs per video would skyrocket if I counted the mms and yeahs and alrights...I'll add a note about them and do a recount soonish. --James Lamp-Eye 09:49, 13 December 2009 (CET) | :Shit, the average amount of sighs per video would skyrocket if I counted the mms and yeahs and alrights...I'll add a note about them and do a recount soonish. --James Lamp-Eye 09:49, 13 December 2009 (CET)

I removed the "Sightings" section. It only glossed over Chris's use of the stress sigh, and I think that a comprehensive list of Chris's sighs would be unnecessary, at least as part of this article. I support the "stress sigh counter," but the statistic is in significant need of an update. Anyone who wants to put the 12 December 2009 figure back in as a placeholder is welcome to. The "anti-sigh" or "hmph" is growing in prominence, and might be better served with a small article of its own, but it might be a bit soon for that. I'm not entirely sure if it requires such, but perhaps the addition of a compilation video of some or all of chris' different sighs would be in order. (not nessescarily each and every one, but he appears to have a few different inflections on the sigh he uses) I'll have a look at doing so personally, but i think others may have better experience with editing videos with more skill than I. --Jakkarra 16:17, 21 October 2010 (PDT)

Perhaps we could include a list of important occurrences of his sighs, like when people have brought them up to him and when sighing has gotten him in trouble. I think we should merge this article with the Speech Impediment article, as there's not that much on this one. Any disagreements? Psycho (talk) 23:12, 2 March 2022 (UTC)

We have two main options: merging it with "Stress" or "Speech Impediment". I think the first one sounds better but I'll wait for everyone's approval before I do anything big. - Anemichu (talk) 20:09, 2 December 2022 (EST)

I think merging with the Stress article would be more appropriate, I don't think sighing counts as a speech impediment. -Lilacraven (talk) 00:23, 1 August 2023 (EST) |

Stress sign counter
This is a very big project but we should try and compile the number of times Chris has sighed in all publicly available media related to him and then try and calculate the average sigh per video. --Champthom 09:47, 7 December 2009 (CET)
"filler" words
I've noticed that when people tell him things that are "inconvenient" to him, he tends to stop making actual replies and starts saying things like "mmm", "alright", "yeah", etc. Am I wrong in believing that something like this should go into this article? Fat Nigger 23:07, 7 December 2009 (CET)

I'm not entirely sure if it requires such, but perhaps the addition of a compilation video of some or all of chris' different sighs would be in order.
