Shut up you people. According to Chris, Punchy was based off Knuckles and he "fucked up" the eyes.

I might be a bit late here, but that's just Chris covering his own ass to avoid getting raped for his racism. Punchy IS asian, as evidenced by a fuckton of his mannerisms being stereotypical azn shit. I always thought he was Japanese as well, but I don't think Chris understands the difference between Asian cultures and so sees them all as one thing anyway.
