Chris has lived all his life in the '''Commonwealth of Virginia''', leaving only to visit other parts of the United States on a few brief occasions. However, for a number of reasons, he's lived in different '''homes''' at different times in different areas of the state.

During most of his teenage years, he lived in a nearly identical suburb outside the city of Richmond, 77 miles (125 km) away, although his family later decided to return to Ruckersville after Chris finished high school.

He and [[Bob|his father]] moved to the Richmond area after Chris left the fourth grade due to a dispute with the local school system. According to [[100 2178|a video address]] Chris released on 8 [[May 2010]], the Chandlers tried to sell the Ruckersville house at some point during their time living outside Richmond, but were unable to do so. As a consequence, Chris says, they were forced to move back to Ruckersville after he graduated [[high school]].

Chris has never left the state of Virginia, save for a trip to California for [[Cole Smithey|his brother's]] birthday, and his ill-fated road trip to Ohio to visit [[Julie]]. As a result, he has a very closed-minded view of other states. He automatically assumes that 18 is the [[Kathleen Nicole Wallace|age of consent]] in all states. Chris also seems to believe that all states share the same culture as his ass-backward retarded "Southern" home.
