On December 27th, 2014, Chris Chan was caught at the local Gamestop, in Charlottesville where he was caught defacing a Sonic Boom display, before being confronted by an employee. According to the video posted by an anonymous tumblrite[1], Chris Chan briefly sprayed an employee with an unidentified substance as he exits the store, causing surprise and alarm on the employee's behalf.
