To do

  • Explain possible reasons why
  • Analyze and describe general patterns in his speech
  • Give some examples (ex. "gitar")
  • I understand the merit of giving some examples, but for the love of God, everyone stop turning this into a list page.
  • Notability criteria goes out the window as soon as you create an actual list, since every idiot and his mom starts adding shit like "he says "ol'" for "old"" or "he says "y'all" for "you all"", which millions of American English speakers do colloquially. All we need are the most common speech fuck-ups particular to Chris, with a few added examples of the most ridiculous made-up words that he's used. But seriously, do this all with prose, not a goddamn list. Llort 23:51, 26 June 2009 (CEST)
  • I was going to say something along the lines of this but Llort articulated it better than I could. Seriously, "ya'll" is a just a Southern thing, same with "'ol'" and the like. The made up word stuff should go with CWC-isms, in the form of a glossary of sorts. --Champthom 00:14, 27 June 2009 (CEST)
  • I think I'll give prose-ing the list a whirl. Wish me luck. Ensign disposable 10:41, 29 June 2009 (CEST)
  • Update: Kept the list for now, but I transcribed most of the important stuff. I think the list would have its use--editing out the CWC-isms and Southern slang would leave us with examples of when Chris mangles the language accidentally. ...Hm, do we have a page on Chris's use of Spanish, yet? I bet he's just about as fluent with that as with English, i.e. barely if at all. Ensign disposable 11:17, 29 June 2009 (CEST)

Can't he pronounce x's?

I know this is probably really old and obvious, but I heard him pronounce six as "siss" for the first time. And srsly, where did that come from? I've never heard someone mispronounce "six" like that. Is that a southern thing or a retard thing? Sauerkraut131 02:59, 10 June 2009 (CEST)

I'm probably guessing it's a retard thing, considering how often he mispronounces things. --APBoy 04:37, 10 June 2009 (CEST)
  • he pronounces "x" as "ts" which sometimes comes out as a "ss" sound (as in "sissty") or "ts" (pronounced like in "puts", as in "hetsbots"). i think it's just him being a retard --cogsdev/vedsgoc 20:36, 26 June 2009 (CEST)
