Hi Chris! I'm glad to see you're taking questions from your fans! I was wondering if you could help my sister, Danielle. She's a very beautiful and successful woman, but she's afraid she'll never find a boyfriend. She used to be my brother, Daniel, but she says she's always felt like a girl on the inside, and she's finally gotten medical help to make her body match what she's always felt like. She's so much happier now - she even went back to school and became a doctor! But she's afraid boys won't like her, even now that she's had the surgery, because of her past. I told her that she's crazy, that she's pretty and smart and successful (I even think she's prettier than me!), and that any boy would be glad to go out with her. What do you think I can do to help her get a boyfriend? Sincerely, Lacey P.S. Here is a picture of my sister: [1] |

Hello Chris! I like Sonic games a lot. My fave Sonic game is Sonic 3. Which is your fave of the oldschool 2D Sonic games? How about the new 3D games? I've watched some of the LittleBigPlanet videos you made. They're really awesome and well done! I like to watch some speed videos often, like on http://speeddemosarchive.com/ ... I wish I could play games that fast!!!!!! Have you tried making a speed video? I would love to see how fast you can play through, say, Sonic 1. Can you please make the video too? I know you're busy with the comic, so if you can't make the video soon, that's fine, take your time. But meanwhile, could you at least tell me about your best times in Sonic games? --# Brigitta #-- |

Hi! I like your cartoons! What are you getting your mom and dad for Christmas? My dad is a writer so I'm getting him some fancy pens, and I bought a nice sweater for my mom. What did your mom and dad get you for Christmas last year? I asked Santa for some Webkinz and Legos and a new Wii game. What did you ask Santa for?? Merry Christmas!!!! Danny |

Hello, Christian! I'm just a stranger from England who is a longtime fan of your work. It quite difficult to find a good sci-fi/adventure writer nowadays; you are one of the most notable exclusions. Keep it up! May I ask you a few questions? Thanks in advance! I hope the "Sonichu" saga will continue for all eternity! :) Colin "Curly" Baker. P.S.: Say hi to all your cute kitties for me! |
I would be grateful if some actual English speakers could proofread it and correct where needed. Thanks in advance! --Goku

Greetings, Mister Chandler. My name is Davro Skaledthal. I am a geneticist, and I have a few questions after reading the latest issue of Sonichu. I deeply enjoy your comic, and especially the portrayal of cwcville as a utopia. Every man should have a place to call his own, don't you agree? First off, though, may I say how inspiring it is that you manage to make a high-quality page nearly every day. It must be incredibly taxing on you, but you seem to be coping admirably. Now, as to the questions. 1. You say that there is a 'gay gene' that can be cured. How exactly does this cure work, and which chromosone is said gay gene attached to? 2. As you have said in a previous mail post, you understand the basics of how evolution works. I'm not expecting you to discuss it at doctorate level of course, but as you know, a gene that is not used or is recessive does not transfer to the next generation. How then is the gay gene transmitted? Obviously every gay man or woman has two heterosexual parents, therefore the gay gene is not represented in either of them. 3. You say you hate the gay lifestyle. While this is understandable if it is indeed a choice that is consciously made by the individual, it is rather disturbing if you claim to hate someone based on something in their genetic makeup. How is that different than hating someone based on their genetic skin color or mental defects, Autism or Aspergers, for example? 4. If the gay gene exists and can be cured, would it also be possible to cure, say, left-handedness? Just as a rhetorical, you understand. But on that topic, what other genetic defects would you cure if you had a serum? Perhaps we could compare notes sometime. Finally, and this one I am deeply curious about, why precisely is the homosexual lifestyle wrong, in your opinion? Originally you quoted the bible as your justification, but recently you have said that the bible is more of a guideline, so we should be free to ignore it when we want, especially the . The instance of violent crimes and sexually transmitted diseases are less in number amongst the homosexual population, and many homosexual people have created great things as a result of finding their one true other in the same gender, such as Hirokazu Yasuhara, the creator of Sonic the Hedgehog, and Satoshi Tajiri, the creator of pokemon, and by extension, pikachu; so what is so terribly wrong about the homosexual lifestyle? This is not an accusation, merely an honest inquiry. Thank you for taking the time to read this letter, and I know this is asking rather much from you, so I apologize in advance, but would you please elaborate on each of these questions with at least one full sentence? If not, I completely understand. Genius must do as genius must. Thank you for your time, Mister Chandler. |

Chris! I'm so happy to finally get a chance to communicate with you! Me and my sister are long time readers of the sonichu adventures. Rosechu is our favorite. She's such a beautiful inspirational figure! But we were troubled to see on the cwcipedia that she doesn't have a page of her own yet. My sister thinks it's because you don't like women... But I don't believe that! Could you please make even a small article about the woman's rights role model? It would mean so much to us girls. :) Kisses, Sally P.S. Here is a picture of my sister: [2] |
